We were having a slight issue with the lock mechanism for our garage door. I called and tech Robert came out right away and fixed the issue. We also had a keypad installed which Robert programmed for us. We are very happy with the service.

Our two garage doors were installed on Friday, July 16, 2021 in the Mint Hill, NC location. We were shocked at the level of service that was provided before, during and after the installation was completed as this is a rarity, today. Our installer, Steven was so professional and picked-up every trash and took the old garage doors away. The garage area was spotless. AWESOME !!! This place is amazing. We had a garage door emergency at 8am this morning and we called immediately. Victoria helped us over the phone and she was sooo nice ! She was sweet and very helpful. Then Jamar came to our house to fix the issue he was very knowledgeable and helpful! The springs on my old doors were worn out so I had to have them replaced. Neighborhood Garage suggested to replace the doors too since they were cracked. I went with Clopay steel backed insulated doors. My garage is 10* warmer, saving me energy costs. I highly recommend them.

Adam at Neighborhood Garage Door was very professionaland and knowledgeable. I was able to make an appointment that same afternoon. He contacted me when he was on the way to let me know he was would be a bit early and wanted to see if that was OK. He was able to diagnose the issue with our garage door very quickly and made the repairs and replaced the old spring system with the new torsion spring and replaced the old metal rollers. My garage door is completely in balance and aligned now. Before the repairs it was so noisy but now it is so quiet you can barely hear it when it opens and closes.

My garage door opener died during the holiday and was repaired on Christmas Eve by a technician with the Neighborhood Garage Door Company. This company was so highly recommended by a neighborhood friend of mine, I trusted them to do the whole job by remote control. My 6 yrs old, Lowes builder special openers plastic parts (the main cog drive wheel was plastic) disintegrated and could not be repaired so I took the advice of the owner and upgraded to a Liftmaster opener. Wow, what a great suggestion and experience! Although I never actually met the tech, he got the job done while I was at work. Perfect job, whisper quiet, all remotes programmed, everything left tidy and clean and my panic (my fault) follow-up calls were immediately answered. Now my garage door can be serviced by a company I trust. Another nice touch was the wi-fi connection which allows me to monitor and control the garage door remotely. I called them asking about installing a new garage door system that was much more quiet than my current opener. My opener was working fine. It was just noisy. They said theyd be happy to sell me a $600 system, but then offered to lube my current system and if I was happy with the change Id just pay a service call fee. I agreed to lubing the current system and long story short they saved me over $500. I will gladly call Neighborhood Garage Door again when I need service!

My garage door suddenly stopped working and I called Neighborhood Garage Door for two reasons, one, because I live in Mint Hill, which is close to their office in Matthews, and also because they have an A rating with the BBB, which very much impressed me. Adam arrived and quickly ascertained the problem and said he could fix it right away, if I wished. He even told me about a special money-saving voucher that I could use, that I had known nothing about. Adam fixed the door in about an hour or so, and now my garage door not only works great, but is a lot quieter due to the nylon rollers he installed. Someone backed into our garage door in a Yukon Denali and destroyed the door. We called Lowes and Home Depot first to see how long a replacement would take. They told us it could be up to a MONTH before we would have a replacement garage door and I couldnt get my car out of the garage. My husband called and spoke to someone at Neighborhood Garage Door. Not only did they have the garage door we needed in stock, they said they could come the next day to replace it.We were told they would be at our house between 9-11 (normally with businesses if they tell you between 9 and 11 that means about 10:59 or later). Dwayne called my husband at 8:40 and asked if we would be ready for them in about 20 min. Not only were they early, they were considerate and professional.My garage door is now better than ever. They are ok with communication and installation time. Price is fare but look into detail on order form some are missing out. Also we tried to match the door to neighbor and end up not getting same as what neighbors have. I wish I knew about it before it was delivered. They all blame to miscommunication. Door is about 15 yrs old. Had another company out about a year ago to quite the squeaks and general maintenance. They tightened the springs and sprayed WD 40 on everything. Door continued to squeak and eventually broke a spring. NGD to the rescue. They were on time, courteous and friendly. They replaced the springs, rollers and gave it proper maintenance. Door works flawlessly and has never been so quite. Recommended!

Outstanding doesn’t cut it. Called yesterday when our garage door took a dump when the springs broke. I make the call at 2pm get the return call at 2:15pm.
