Marcos, made fresh chicken, fried and rotisserie. It was so good. Happy he is still working there. So many faces have changed.
Everyone was so kind and friendly I dont usually shop here but certainly would again!
Overall great store.Wide variety of items, but limited for ethnic food (unless youre Italian, the amount of pasta is crazy - in a good way!). Employees are very friendly, great bakery options, and the produce is usually in pretty good condition. Also, so thankful they moved the card reader to the front instead of the back of the of the line! Id give 6 stars just for that.
My experience was good no issues. Ivan was the casher on duty always pleasant. He thanked my daughter for bagging the groceries for him.
Love the Lyndhurst location. Always has everything I need and staff are very polite.
I am so thankful for the employees here. They are always so kind! I have been stressed to the max lately with cancer and life issues, in my frazzledness I forgot my wallet in my cart when I left. One of the employees retrieved it and they kept it safe for me, not to mention they always give a warm welcome and make sure to tell you to enjoy your day. To the employee that found my wallet, THANK YOU! I mean it! Im a mom fighting cancer, you helped me so much by doing that
Great prices. Amazing variety. Awesome service. Great place for quick or detailed grocery shopping!
I can always find what Im looking for here ❤️
Not too busy for a football sunday. Walmarts winning the battle
Employees are always so friendly and willing to help!!
Its a dump ..not clean..randomly stocked...good luck finding someone who can help u find something....
As a Christian review: Lines typically short and friendly people everywhere. Everything is a bit higher priced than Im used to but sales are good.
The store is always clean, well stocked and items are easy to locate. The prices are good and staff is always accomodating. The Social Distance Policy is in place and encouraged.
I love this Giant Eagle -its smaller than the other Giant Eagle but the staff is great.
Ok. Smaller than the others on east side
The store was very well stock found everything I needed. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
The employees at this Giant Eagle are fantastic! They have always been incredibly helpful and eager to help. Chris in the seafood department always says hello and helps me find whatever I’m looking for whether I ask for help or am just looking around on my own. I only wish this Giant Eagle was larger so it could have a liquor store, a larger wine selection, and offered the same selection of products larger giant eagles have.
Nice grocery. Just about everything you want.
Great store better than daves great prices for your buck
I love shopping here. I love the sales. I love the variety of meats, fresh veggies and snacks
Small and dirty store. Sorta ghetto
Cashiers i had were great! Friendly and professional
Love the store. Prices are a bit high.
It’s Monday December 21 6:10 pm. My friend bought me a carton of Marlboro’s and spent 80 dollars. It was the wrong carton and was not able to exchange it. You would think a big company like giant eagle would be able to do something or have a back up plan for tobacco products but sadly they couldn’t really do much. The manager there looked like she hated her life and looked very happy that I couldn’t be helped. Anyways 80 dollars spent for cigarettes I don’t smoke. Thank you giant eagle.
As I was sitting in my car today I noticed a young African American male bringing in the carts from outside. He was very efficient and professional. He took his job very serious and spoke to the customer outside. What amazed me was that his only responsibility was to bring in the carts, however he went beyond his responsibility. Whoever his parents are kudos to them. I believe he deserves a raise.
Everything I need in one stop. Excellent hot bat and love the prepared cold meals I can heat and serve.
Was shopping and at checkout the woman before me had left two items behind so I told two workers Libby and Olivia that the lady who had just walked out left her items that she paid for behind and both completely ignored me because the lady who left her items behind was a black woman. I have been a loyal customer to giant eagle for over a decade and today was the 1st day that I was disappointed and disgusted with giant eagle.
Friendliest of all Giant Eagles Ive been too. Would like to see Hebrew National at the Deli & then I could give them 5 stars.
This location offers easy on and out. Well lit with wide aisles for browsing. Lots of great deals and excellent customer service.
The produce at this location is consistently terrible.
Great selection of gift cards! Earn Getgo points!
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but the store is so run down and produce is iffy at best. I wish corporate would give it an uplift. Also, given that we are in the middle of a pandemic, they still do not offer curbside pickup.
Attention:Giant Eagle Human Resources dept. You are not following CDC or the cuyahoga County board of health COVID guidelines. My brother was following the guidelines and you decided to fire him for that. I hope you are not treating all your employees like this and terminating them because they have to quarantine.
Alita makes this chain store feel like an old school Mom and Pop grocery store.
They have products I need.
Staff cool store in stock
As usual, been going here as a matter of convenience for 17 years and service is always slow because they keep the place understaffed. Also, quit changing the arrangement of products- super frustrating.
Great store and always seem to have stocked shelves and staff is helpful.
This store is well lit and stocked, this was the first time I was in this store
Nothing extra still GE
Would have been a five star but, couldnt find two items on my list at Sale price as listed in flyer.
Its great the store offers curbside pickup, but it would be better to NOT offer it than to staff it so poorly. Waiting 30 minutes at the curb for a scheduled pickup and not for the first time!
I have to say that Im impressed with the fact that any of the giant eagles that Ive been to so far seem to be doing their best to adhere to the covid-19 guidelines. Their stores are also kept well stocked with most items.
Always well stocked and clean
Always a great experience shopping
Not very well organized, store is dingy and outdated as well. The staff seems like they couldnt care less when it comes to assisting customers. After a very headache inducing and confusing shopping experience my girlfriend and I went up to customer service to register for the savings card program where, in fact, it seems as if it was as complicated and time consuming as signing up for a credit card would be. Not a smooth experience what so ever being my first grocery shopping since moving to Cleveland and makes me hope that Kroger will either be building stores or conducting a take over of this market in the VERY near future.
They do have some nice desert items.
I pretty much always have a great experience at this location. The younger cart guy was exceptional!
Your staff is so helpful and amazing!! Every person I came across offered to help me grabbing my last minute party groceries since I had a sleeping toddler in my arms. I appreciate it more than anything. I thought it would be my worst grocery trip on record but thanks to your staff I was able to get in and out in a flash. Thank you for hiring such caring employees!
Store and employees seem clean. The employees were very nice and outgoing.
Old run down smaller store in Mayfield heights. Needs a remodel or to be closed.
This is a great Giant Eagle. The shelves are always stocked, and very rarely do they not have what I need. The store is clean. The staff is nice and helpful. I find that all of their cashiers are upbeat, friendly and hardworking.
Clean and store was well stocked.
The line to check out was very long but given the circumstances it is what it is. It was nice to see other customers displaying much needed patience as well.
Very cramped giant eagle. Very hard to move around other people. Spent a lot of time just feeling blocked in each isle.
There vegetables dont look that great. There meat and seafood department is always great.
This Giant Eagle is well stocked. Produce is usually good. They have a good variety of ethnic products. I often have shopped there for someone who cant get out. Staff members are helpful.
This is a decent store. I usually dont have any complaints. However, compared to the other giant eagle in legacy village its definitely in need of renovation. I usually only go to this store for convenience since I only live 1 mile away, but if I am not in a rush, and when sometimes if I am, I go to the giant eagle in legacy village. Its much nicer. This store is fine though. They just dont have as much of a selection.
This location is a little smaller than others in the area, but its still as well stocked as others. Employees were friendly but not overly so. I especially like the bakery, which always has a good selection. My only complaint is the ladies restroom could be cleaner.
This place doesnt look like much from the outside and used to be kinda dingy inside, but its actually pretty nice now, and usually not very crowded.
I like this giant eagle alot. Clean well stocked. Found everything I needed.
Best giant eagle to shop in the area.
Great selection. Love the aisle direction
GE is using only Brown paper bags... Forcing us to buy them at $0.10 cents a pop. Not a big deal right... Good for the environment right? Think about it! 10 cents adds up! When questions they dont know the limits of the bag there giving you, and I have F#@& Steps and live in an apartment! There prices are much higher than Aldis, to compare. They are killing the rainforest now instead by Changing to paper bags! I am boycotting them. Better pricing and service elsewhere!
This giant eagle is not like others unfriendly deli people. No liquor store limited produce
The store was clean the produce was picture perfect. The 2 women in hot prepared foods were as far from pleasant as the earth is to the sun, they made me feel as if I was bothering them by asking questions about the food, they had nasty attitudes. We wont stop by that section again! The deli, meats, dairy and rest of the store staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable of the stores new layout and walked you to the product you were inquiring about. With the exception of the hot prepared foods women, it was a good day for shopping.
Good people great food a.little pricey but you get what you pay for . Also 30 cents so far off a gallon of gas you cant beat that my truck holds 20 gallons makes up for that good looking meat well have tomorrow. Also they have city chicken try it you might just like it.
Love Giant Eagle the store has everything i need.
Latrice at the checkout stand is extremely rude. Throws your food down the line. Doesn’t listen to you. Has zero to no patience. Yells at you because you aren’t fast enough for her. I go regularly and I don’t even want to go back because she was so horrible. Worst service ever.
Well stocked and staffed even during covid-19.
Was there about 6:15 p.m on Saturday, everything was picked clean, it was kind of creepy, also the deli was closed and the employees seemed to not want to be bothers, I put the few things I went for back and split, thanks giant eagle,,
While Giant Eagle may be a little bit pricier, their selection beats every other grocery store in the area. Cant find an ingredient? Pretty good bet youll find it here. One thing that bothers me about this particular store is that their wine/liquor selection isnt as great as other Giant Eagles Ive been to. All in all, the staff is friendly, meat is fresh, bakery does a good job, and you get fuel perks for using your advantage card. Not bad.
Tip: if approaching from the Mayfield exit from I-271, then use the right center lane to get to it. The entrance is after the stoplight after the lane merges. The store is laid out like most other Giant Eagles, it has a Huntington Bank (with a red logo!) with good workers at the teller stations. Very good selection of organic and non organic produce
Very clean, employees are very nice and helpful
I feel like this store is always right on the bubble of closing. The employees are nice but the shelves have a poorer selection of product than other Giant Eagles Ive been to. Tom, who works the carts outside, is really friendly and helps me load my groceries whenever he sees me.
Clean good customer service
I commend Giant Eagle for taking the lead in eliminating plastic bags.I plan to shop more frequently at my Mayfield Heights Giant Eagle.
This location is always clean and organized. Most employees are friendly and helpful. I am in this store once or twice a week and my only recommendation would be to have a better selection of food like Legacy Village.
Everything fresh
Have ordered a few cupcake sheet cakes from here. Always popular at work.
Always has the best meats around!
Great store to shop, customer service is very courteous and will help you out, the prices are expected due to economy, but at the same time the food is good and fresh 👍, and the giant eagle card is helpful, and if you use coupons, you get twice the savings, I remember when it was just one coupon say and it was just Wednesdays; now its everyday .
Usually get stuff there. Found out they ILLEGALLY raised the expiration date on ALREADY EXPIRED green beans. You can get SUED for this.UPDATE: The tomatoes expiration dates were also ILLEGALLY raised up and were SUPER MOLDY.
I am a fairly passive person, but I feel this experience was handled poorly and was somewhat embarrassing. I have never visited this location before. I was in the area and need to pick a couple things up for dinner. Everything was fine until I reached the checkout line. I had pulled a coupon off an item and handed it to the cashier (because they have been missed in the past). She then yelled at me for removing it. I didt feel like it was a big deal, but I apologized anyway. She would not let it go, continued to yell at me and tell me why I should have not done it. I then proceed to bag my own groceries (which she did not place anything in a bag the entire time, just kept talking) and then I guess she found a $.55 coupon on another item. She then had to announce and continue to yell about how She found the coupon, not me and that She never misses a coupon blah blah. Again, I am very passive and her being my elder, I refused to engage in her attitude, but feel it was completely uncalled for. I will take my business elsewhere.
They have most of the things you may need, but they make you bag your own groceries, which annoys me because its not a discount store. I dont like the way they place their products. Instead of placing, say, their cans of black beans all together, theyre organized by brand, making it hard to shop by price. It also makes it easy to miss things you may have bought had you seen them, but who has time to look at every brand of black bean when theyre not in the same place. Whatever. I could go on. Theyre fine I guess.
Its clean and has everything. Bring your own bags, though.
Can smell the seafood department almost from the door. Not what I look for in a fresh food market. There was a pretty significant wait at the deli. There werent many people ahead of me, but the workers were very slow and impatient. Did not even bother shopping the rest of the store after, went to self checkout and left.
Had everything I needed, social distancing and masked worn by all.
Fresh produce, prices were good on all groceries and in the produce department today. Pretty easy self checkout, easy parking lot, good mayfield heights location...convenient.
This is a small Giant Eagle with relatively limited selection of what I buy. Unlike other smaller Giant Eagles, this one carries lower priced products. I appreciate this and stop here often on the way home from work.
Store always clean, fruits&vegetables always fresh, cashiers fast&friendly
This is a quality chain grocery store. It has a wide variety of products but requires a lot of walking. It has many convenient local locations.
Woman at service desk was not very service oriented. It was as if I was a bother to her.
When you want to pick up a few things for home at noon and grab a bite for lunch... no salads made and no plans to get to that soon (this at 12:30 pm), a few sad pieces of fried chicken left in the bin and no plans to make more... (no legs or thighs? really?) because during the lunch rush is the time to clean the fryer? way to fail the lunch crowd. And theres more...
Definitely one of my least favorite Giant Eagle stores. Has a very odd layout which makes it hard to find things. The store usually isnt all that clean, the staff isnt exactly friendly when you can even find someone, and the produce always looks old and poorly stocked. Usually try to avoid this one for the much much much nicer store at Legacy Village closer to my house.
This was not originally the first choice of giant eagle to go in area; but Im Happy I went, for the employees was really Nice and Extremely Helpful. The store also had items I wouldnt imagine to having of which i purchased and was of such Great Use.
May 24, 2018 i walked into this store to shop. While shopping i notice managers and store employees were following and watching my every move like i was a thief! If i gave signs that i was a thief, then i would understand but i was just a NORMAL PAYING CUSTOMER.Couldnt enjoy my shopping experience. This was a very uncomfortable experience, especially since giant eagle have been my favorite store for years. Not anymore....wish i can give zero stars
Hi price. Poor fresh food. Poor check out.Need competition Meyer, HEB, Randalls.Dont call it Giant Rip off for nothing.
