The staff are all wonderful. I just don’t understand why the store is always in shambles. The Morphe section looks like a toddler is let loose in it every morning before they open. Restock seems to be rare or very far and few between. It’s my go to store for convenience, like I said the staff are all friendly and helpful. But aesthetically this is one of the worst looking Ultas inside that I’ve ever been to.

This store has a huge selection of almost every kind of beauty product you could need. They have great hair care products that can be hard to find in other stores. Some of the brands they have can be found elsewhere at better prices. The staff was very helpful when needing a product to correct a hair dye issue.

Ive been to this store many times prior to covid and the experience was usually uneventful- not good, not bad, just eh! Yesterday I was helped by the Benefit rep and a rep in the white coat (sorry I dont know their names)....and I was NOT shopping their brand, I was shopping for magnetic eye liner. Even the cashier asked if I was a rewards member. That hardly ever happens. Id been shopping ULTA for years before I knew they even had a rewards program!. Not sure if its new management or what but I will definitely be making this my #1 makeup store if this continues!

Called a few days ago to schedule a hair appointment. The person who answered the phone said we are very busy at the moment but I will see who you had your last appointment with and call you back with a date available. I never received a call or a VM. I called back today and the phone system is faulty. Every option you press goes back to the automated message and no one picks up. Guess I’ll go elsewhere.

Certainly agree with Alicia 2 comments down. The staff/cashiers are terribly rude. They have no customer service whatsoever and made my experience very uncomfortable. I had to walk out of the store and like Alicia again, go to Garfield’s location, where a friendly visit will be guaranteed. I had asked if they was somewhere I can put my drink down because my hands were full, while I was trying to shop. I was told with the biggest attitude, that I can not leave my drink down and was not explained why I couldn’t. Only to be told I’m going to have to carry it in my hand. A customer service response would be to apologize and explain why having drinks behind the counter is not allowed, but you would be happy to provide me with a basket. Obviously that wasn’t the case here. Train your employees on how to satisfy the customer and to be polite please.

I got eyelashes put on and they looked great in the store but by the time I got home ten minutes later I realized I could see the glue and they were already coming off! I drove back immediately and spoke with someone else who said the first woman had messed up and he said he could do them again. They looked great and then a little while later one was alresdy halfway off my eye. I took them off before the event I was attending that night. I recommend going somewhere else.

It is like most locations, but I find this specific location to be filled with more representatives from the brands, and if you are anywhere near the higher end makeup you will not be able to spend one second thinking about a color or item without like 8 people asking you if you need help. I appreciate the help, but sometimes I do not want to discuss my face or my preferences with a stranger...sometimes I just want to zone out and try to remember what product I saw in a video or what I ran out of. It can be a little overbearing. Also, since many of the people working are brand specific reps, you will not get general product advice but a hidden sales pitch. I feel this happens more at this branch than others.

A large variety of high end and drugstore priced products. It would be nice if there were some more mature makeup artists to help choose the proper products. While the young staff are very sweet and eager to help, they are not as knowledgeable with over 50 makeup needs.

As mentioned in many other reviews, staff needs to be trained in proper customer service. Went to store yesterday during the holiday rush to make an even exchange for a concealer in a different shade. After waiting in the long line and then waiting for a supervisor to authorize the exchange, the supervisor told me that despite having my order receipt the original email was needed to do the exchange. I had difficulty finding the email in my account and tried to explain that I have done an even exchange many times before with no need for an order email. She was very dismissive and told me something about having to check if I used rewards points- which again should make no difference because it is the exact same product in a different color. Upset because I do not live close to ulta, I came back to the store with the email today only to be told by the girl at the register that I did not need the email because it was an even exchange and she did my transaction in 5 minutes with no problems. Clearly the person helping me today had proper training and understanding of how things work, everyone working there should be on the same page.

Service at this location is nonexistent. They will not look for items nor will they offer to help you. Cashier was so rude we walked out and left the items there. For the amount I spend at Ulta, they should have staff that can help me if I don’t see something in stock on the floor. I went in on a Friday night and their one floor sales person was doing make-up on someone. I asked the cashiers for assistance and they said, “let me get someone for you”, and then no one came. In fact, the woman who offered to find me help (since she and her fellow cashiers weren’t trained to/were incapable?) left for home while I was waiting for her referral for someone to check stock for me. Yes, I was there at 7:45pm on a Friday and they close at 9. But I reiterate - I spend way too many dollars at that store for that treatment. I walked out and wasted time waiting for assistance that never came, while having to make other stops after work. The store had multiple shoppers at this time frame, it’s Bergen county NJ in an outlet center. Staff more appropriately.

AVOID KELLY!She’s an extremely amateur hair colorist who doesn’t know how to honor her word! After paying over $200 (and a generous tip) for a root touch-up and partial highlights, my hair doesn’t look like anything was done! You can barely see the highlights and I have more highlights on one side compared to the other. She said she would add a “highlight or two” to even out both sides, but when I called her to schedule a correction service, she told me it would be another $55! When I asked her “$55 for TWO highlights!?!?” she flatly said “yes”I was very disappointed to say the least.Very unprofessional!

This particular location is not. Customer service need training, very messy store, not organized, hard to find someone to help you. I stood on the check out line just to ask for a price.....how embarrassing. Unfortunately, the closest place for me to find certain products. Just needs better management and direction.

I try to avoid going to this store at all costs. The employees are poorly trained and have absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. The terrible shopping experience begins when you walk through the doors as you will not be acknowledged. The employees can see you walking around the store looking perplexed and they won’t ask if you need any assistance. Whoever is performing their customer service training really needs to take a course themselves as you can tell they don’t put much effort into it. I wish there was another store in the area where I could get the cosmetics products that I love. I absolutely dread going to this store, if you can try to buy online in order to avoid the aggravation.

My mom and I had a horrible experience there today. I am absolutely ashamed at the lack of customer service skills at this store. Honestly, being treated like you are a peasant by the associates makes me want to stick to online shopping. I brought my mom there today so she could spend a gift card and so that I could buy her a Mothers Day gift, and the treatment was just ridiculous. Normally, the staff is semi-friendly, but today it was a completely different experience. Multiple associates circled us like hawks and badgered us multiple times asking if they could help us with anything. I appreciate the interest, but when someone is constantly breathing down your neck, it becomes unnecessary. My mom wanted to purchase a blush brush, and the woman made a nasty comment towards her when she opened the drawer. She didnt know that she wasnt supposed to open the drawer and the woman treated her like she was a 5 year old over an honest mistake. The drawer was open so my mom just took a look and this woman acted like she had personally attacked her. She could have just kindly asked her to stop, but no. Then, both of us went over to the skincare area, and a man who was dressed like he was guarding the Pentagon asked us multiple questions. It was really odd. As we approached the Juice Beauty Section, an obnoxious woman came up to us and began hounding us about the products like we had never seen a moisturizer. My mom said to her, Oh no thank you, we are just looking, and as we began to walk away, the woman says in a snide voice, Oh well excuse me, I didnt mean to scare you away. I swear, after this I was just about ready to put back our products and leave, but we were trying to have an enjoyable mother-daughter experience so we just brushed it off. We wound up with a decent amount of products in the end, and got use out of the gift card. The only normal person working there was the cashier who was quite kind. We will not be returning there in the future. Sephora will always be my go-to. If this store plans on continuing to make money, they best hire some sensible associates who can learn how to get off their high horses and act empathetic to their customers. Im disgusted by the snotty attitudes of some of these women.

The have a great variety of makeup and also offer products from small indie brands such as Juvias place or beauty bakerie. They also have colorpop as well. They offer great skincare/hair care products. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and patient which makes the atmosphere really inviting.

They overcharged because the beautician said the girl that was supposed to do my daughters hair did not go to work, and since she was a master beautician her fee was much more than what they had quoted on the phone. She used over 10 products and within the hour there were no curls left. So much for master beautician.

WORST LOCATION! I was a Sephora customer and one of the reasons I started shopping at Ulta was because of the customer service. I was in the area and stopped in to see if I I could get my brows waxed. After checking in with the girl she said to give her 5 minutes and if her appointment she would come get me. 15 minutes went by and I went to the counter and they paged her, waited another 25 minutes and spoke to the manager who 5 minutes later confirmed the girl had left the building. INCONSIDERATE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL! The counter in the back is a hangout, 6 clerks and the manager at one point goofing off and having personal conversations. I spend way too much money in this place for that type of treatment.

I was there on November 6th and about 2pm (I actually am writing this right outside in my car because the service was that despicable.) while waiting on a very long line I noticed one customer ask an associate a question about a product in the paper. The associate replied to the question with, “I don’t know, that’s not my department. You should find someone who knows”. Another associate at the register was rolling her eyes while speaking to a customer and making various rude faces, almost like a rebellious teen speaking to an adult. Finally it was my turn on line and the associate was extremely unwelcoming, rang up my product, handed it to me with the receipt, NO bag, and without another word, proceeded to call the next costumer over. Disgusting customer service in this Ulta location and I surely will not be returning. I do not spend my money with Ulta to be treated with attitude and moved along like cattle. If I wanted that sort of treatment I would head over to the DMV. The managers have a great deal of work to do on their employees.

I love Ulta but I wish they would clean up the NYX area, its always a mess, product everywhere, totally unorganized and I went in the morning (on a Tuesday) so apparently no one cleans up the night before plus they never seem to stock this brand consistently. The same thing with the Ulta brand, lip glosses opened and scattered around, lots of empty slots, I was very disappointed...on the bright side, the upscale makeup area was nice and neat.

This store is the worst stocked Ulta in the area. Certain products such as Colorpop, ABH, TooFaced and Makeup Revolution are barely restocked. Shelves are literally empty. As far as new launches, you will be waiting weeks to months for them to get it in store. The managers have no clue when their store will receive merchandise. They simply direct you to the website. What is the point of having a store so close and you cant go in to check your shade or see a product in person?

Average at best. I went here because of the reviews about Jamie on yelp, which seem to be fake reviews by friends. All of the stylists working here are like a bunch of college kids, very unprofessional. I waited 10 mins to even be acknowledged as there was no one around. My hair cut was very basic and they charged me over $50 for a basic cut. For a place which is indicated to be moderate, thats not really accurate compared to other salons in the same area which charge $40 at the most with a blow dry. I also had a 20% coupon for new customers which they said i couldnt use until next time (??). Absolute scammers.

I walked in this store at 9:08pm and they had lied to me saying they close at 9pm which was a complete lie because online it says it closes at 9:30pm. I work in this area every Saturday till about 845pm so I do not get much time to get here. I live about 30min away and every other day I work till late by my house and the ulta by my house is always closed by the time Im out of work or school. They all just wanted to go home.....over all I was extremely unsatisfied.
