They had the new vehicle that we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. Our sales person was awesome. The only drawbacks to Griffin motors is their finance manager and service departments. Neither are very well informed or trained. The finance manager lacks basic communication skills and their service department just sucks. Upon deliver of the vehicle the interior was still dirty and all the aftermarket equipment was installed incorrectly and needed to be redone.

This was my first experience with this dealer and it was surely worth the drive from Erie. I have not one complaint about my experience with Griffin Motors. Unfortunately, i did experience a minor problem with the used car that i purchased here but one call to my sales man was all it took to rectify this problem and did not cost me a nickle. I would recommend a trip here to anyone looking to make a vehicle purchase!!!!

I just traded my New Holland Blue Dodge RAM 1500 with the American flag bug guard on the front for a 2020 Dodge RAM 1500 Granite crystal crew cab. This is my 8th truck from Griffins. We highly recommend Griffins’s sales, service and parts department. I have dealt personally with Tommy, Donny, and Boone for the purchase of my vehicles. Our family and my husband’s former business Sandy Lake Implement Inc have purchased over 40 years better than 30 vehicles from Griffins. They are honest, respectful and friendly and trustworthy people. We were involved with 4H for 15 years and they supported the kids by buying animals. I have been very satisfied with all my trucks that I have purchased and this truck has more leg room than the other truck which is great. Thanks to Griffins’s and RAM for making a great truck because as long as I can hunt I will be buying another one in the future. The only reason I traded was because my lease was running out. I had many compliments on the color and the flag.

We found Griffin Motors, Meadville, PA in October 2017 while searching for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica in the dark gray color. Our salesperson Greg Davis was quite helpful and we felt the hour plus drive was worth it. When we picked up the van we were sold an extended Zurich warranty by the finance manager Ron. At that time, he told us what a great value it was and if we took it to any dealer other than Griffin it was only a $100 deductible, but if we brought it to them that deductible was waived. He reiterated this several times during our paper signing. Boy were we gullible! At about 18000 miles the Uconnect radio system locked up and we had to take it to Griffin twice for repairs. On the 3rd occurrence we decided to take it to a local dealer as it was under regular warranty. Surprise! They couldn’t duplicate it – not that time or the next 2 times. Looking back we believe it was because that would have classified it as a lemon. We also experienced issues with the USB drive on the dash and was told it wouldn’t be covered under the extended warranty unless they could find the problem. We decided to call Griffin to see if they could help us – we were told at that time that we hadn’t checked the box (that we weren’t told about) for the $100 deductible to be waived. After more issues, we traded the van in for a different make and was told by that vehicle manufacturer that we would be entitled to a refund on our extended warranty. We started the process in late September and got the run around by Griffin and were finally told we would receive our refund check in mid-December 2020. On December 28 we called as we still didn’t have it. We were told it was mailed December 21, 2020 and could we please give it until January 4, 2021 due to ongoing USPS issues and if we hadn’t received it they would stop payment and overnight a new check. We agreed. We called January 4, 2021 and were told at first that we would have to incur the charges to stop payment and overnight. We protested and were told they would handle it. January 7, 2021 we called as we still hadn’t received it and had to leave a message. We called again on January 8, 2021 was told it was sent next day air saver on January 6, 2021. We were given a tracking number and surprise again – it didn’t exist in the UPS system! On January 9, 2021 it shows up in the system stating it was shipped January 8, 2021 will arrive on January 11, 2021. We received the check on January 11, 2021 but it was dated January 7, 2021 – one day after it was originally supposed to have been sent via UPS Next Day Air Saver. Once again we were lied to! Please be very careful when dealing with this dealership!

My review is strictly of their service department (not the people who actually do the work on vehicles, this is for those who sit in the front when you walk in). I have no idea how people as unhelpful as the ones there keep their jobs - probably because when a vehicle needs a repair, you pretty much have no choice anymore except to take it to a dealer, and trust me, I know that good, reliable help is hard to come across anymore.For those who have given 5 stars for this service department, I would have to guess youre either related to someone who works there or have no real expectations or standards for good customer service. If you didnt purchase your vehicle from them, but ask them to look at issues with your vehicle, simply dont. Theyll say well, you didnt buy it here. So if I buy a Kia from you Ill get better service than bringing in one purchased from another dealer. So petty!This review is based off of an interaction from today (I have had several in the past that were also below par, but todays insanity prompted this review). How about this to the service manager - dont tell a customer to call Kia directly to have their issue resolved, because apparently Kia rightfully takes the side of the customer, something you have no experience with. I work in the healthcare industry and trust me, when someone asks me to help them or to fix a problem for them, Im on it, because that is what a good worker and person does. Also, dont be surprised when Kia calls you and explains to you how you are to treat a customer.

A pretty decent place to take your vehicle for service. My KIA needed a software update and they were able to get me in and out in a fair amount of time. They even checked a problem I was having with my drivers side window and resolved the issue. The only problem I had was they threw away my paperwork from KIA (why would someone do that? duh!) but fortunately they found it after digging through the trash.

The hometown care they give from the first moment you enter the service department is the best I have experienced from any dealership.It is worth noting that the hometown care is not just limited to the services at the dealership, it is what they do. The hometown commitment can be seen throughout the community whether it is the sponsorship of a community event, youth sports, or involvement on a community volunteer board.It is their approach to business, service, and the community that makes me keep coming back and a long time customer. The chief complaint was an oil leak that has been on going for months. I took my Ram to 2 different dealerships in GA multiple times, to Meadville PA, to a dealership in KY, and then back to Meadville PA (meadville being where I bought the truck)where each visit they diagnosed/stated there was an oil leak. The problem started as an oil pan gasket, then rear main seal, and then upper oil pan gasket. With me traveling for work I spent countless phone calls trying to resolve the oil leak, all of the visits happening with the truck having 50,000-60,000 miles. The 2nd to last visit the upper oil pan gasket was fixed, at this point I had to use my extended warranty to “resolve” the leak, there was a miss communication between me and the manager where I had to push my appointment back a couple weeks to get it in and my truck was out of the 60,000 factory warranty. When I went to pick the truck up there was still some oil under the truck and the truck wouldn’t start secondary to a bad connection when the technician put the truck back together. At this point I was dealing with the manager directly. The manager apologized and said he’d have it fixed ASAP. Since I tried to get the truck on Saturday I had to wait until monday to hear back, also I have to travel ~50 minutes one way to the dealership. The manager called on Monday stating there was still an oil leak, they fixed the starter, and he wanted to make sure the oil leak was fixed right, the gesture was appreciated however I feel these issue should not have been drawn out as long as it was. Come Thursday they said they replaced all 3 issues in attempts to resolve oil leak, main seal, lower oil pan gasket, and upper oil pan gasket. To show their courtesy they brought the truck to me. I noticed some oil on the visor of the truck upon drop off and upon first glance there was minimal oil under the truck. So I am hoping the issue is resolved. My biggest complaint would be, what seemed to me, was the dealerships passing the issue onto the other dealerships. I also felt that the dealerships, mostly the one in GA, were mad/annoyed about me wanting a “small oil leak” resolved. So glass half full, the dealership for the hopefully last visit on the oil leak, attempted to do the right thing to assist me during this very, very, very frustrating situation.

Great experience. My salesperson went above and beyond to find the EXACT car I was looking for. It felt good to finally find a place that treated me like a friend instead of just another customer. Seen a truck advertised in the paper went to buy the truck and price jumped $5000. They said the price I seen in the paper was a misprint which I understand could happen. But the sales manager was completely disrespectful and acted as though I was trying to pull a fast one on them! Even though I showed the ad. I think they could have worked with me on the truck I was willing to go alittle more but they wouldnt budge. Its unfortunate that this is the only dodge dealership in town because I will never purchase from this dealership ...buyers beware!!

This is the worst service department I have ever been to. My wife took my jeep there for an emissions test for my Arizona registration. They placed a sticker in the center of my window. When I called to ask about it, the service member Frank asked if I needed the sticker. I told him, no, but it was fine and understood why he put it on; however, I do not need it. My concern was that Mr. Crider (the tech) put it in the center of my windshield in the field of view. Frank told me just scrape it off then. I then explained my concern of it in the field of view, he then explained how his tech has 20 years of placing the sticker and he was right in placing it in the middle. Well I am not complaining of his technical skills, I am complaining about your policy and that is a safety hazard. I will scrape the sticker off, but I am letting other Jeepers know this place does not know what they are doing or care for your safety. If you put a sticker in my field of view, and do not check to see if it is straight or decent looking, how do I trust that you have tightened all bolts. Your attention to detail is definitely not on par nor is fixing anything that my familys lives will be involved in. The second part is they get very defensive when you call them out on their fault instead of just accepting it and offering to take care of the situation. I would have never written a review if they were more courteous and understanding of my concern. Instead I got every excuse known to mankind. Any other dealership that knows Jeeps places the emissions, inspection, or registration sticker stacked in the left corner window on a Jeep Wrangler not lined through the front in a the drivers view.

Took my car for oil change and tire rotation.Told them to check brakes n rotors, car shimmying,told me nothing wrong.Took it back 2 weeks later,theyre not sure if its front or back rotors,they can be turned,and told me id need new brakes $300 front $ 300 for back, but theyre not sure which so 600 For noth.Really,you cost me my time for your not checking the first time,they admitted they never test drove,youre certified mechanics,really.Wemt to Community Chevy to trade it,I was the second customer that day buying from another dealer due to your not caring.Will never buy there or go back

A few months after the issues I had having spark plugs replaced in my 2015 JKU, (misfire on cylinder 5, I didnt even make it 5 feet from where they had parked it) I have developed a very bad leak in the valve cover gasket right next to cylinder 5. Maybe I just had a bad experience here, this is why I do most of the work myself.
