Good service. For oil changes, you have to get there early to get it done in a timely manner. They get really busy and it can take 3 to 4 hours to get the oil changed. However, they are always professional and helpful.

The entertainment system / backup camera on our Toyota van went out. We tried repeatedly to get an appointment, but no one was answering the phone. Eventually, I went in personally and made an appointment.I arrived to drop off my vehicle first thing in the morning. The office was full of about 15 other customers waiting. There are about six counters, but there was no indication as to which counter I was supposed to go to. I waited for about 15 minutes and eventually got where I needed to be. The appointment went smoothly. We really appreciated the input of the Workman who worked on our car. Unfortunately, the repair that was needed was very expensive. We ended up going to another shop, who did the repair for 1/3 of the cost.

Good experience getting Toyota care maintenance done. Bought my highlander at grants pass Toyota but I take it to lithia Toyota in Medford because it’s closer. No oil smudges on the car, clean restrooms by the waiting room, a pleasant wait.

I came in for a regular Toyota maintenance (at 5k miles this is a tire rotation, fluid check, and visual inspection).I was a walk-in client and I felt that they got to my car in a timely manner. They even took time to address a non-maintenance issue (the back-up beeping that the Prius has).The waiting area was clean and all staff members were polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Super long story, not worth typing all of it. But basically been trying to contact them for over 2 weeks to ask if I can get a rental car, since my newly purchased car from them had an electrical issue and they sent it off to a different dealership to get it fixed, and it has been over 3 weeks since I brought my car in, and the dealership they transferred my car too still hasnt even oozed at my car. I feel like since this is all in my warranty, atleast they can prioritize my car to get fixed considering I had just bought it a month before, and it shouldnt have been sold to me with this issue. I have been having to share my finances car with her, and we work opposite schedules. And Im not old enough to go pay to rent a car, nor should I have to. I feel like the least yall could do is provide me with a rental. Its not cool that I have left over 8 voice-maila and Noone has called me back at all to even discuss anything about it.

As a Toyota owner I recently experienced a trifecta across Lithia Toyotas three departments: service, sales & finance. In July I brought my 4Runner in for a scheduled Toyota Care service. Personnel were professional, knowledgeable and timely getting me in and out; all work completed. In June my son returned from the middle east and I had previously asked a sales person to keep his eyes open for a used Toyota with particular specifications. They found what I was looking for. No pressure, just information and some education on vehicle history with a fair price. In finalizing the purchase it was a positive interaction with the Finance person. No high pressure with added products. She was courteous and efficient in closing out the necessary documents for agreed upon price. Knowing people from out of town travel to this dealership for vehicles and in some cases driving in from out of State Im glad Lithia Toyota is so close to where I reside. I do highly recommend this dealership.

These days, you really have to make an appointment for service if you want to be done in less than 2 hours. Even so, plan on at least an hour. The service is still good, I have bought many vehicles here, and its convenient for oil change and tire rotation in one place. Everyone was masked, including clients, thanks for enforcing that Lithia!

Tom was very nice, personable and got the job done.However, I couldnt believe that after spending almost $700, they hadnt washed the windshield of my car...I used to think that was part of a bringing your car in for service. I know that they have a whole cadre of people cleaning cars. I would like to think theyd do the windshield when you spend more than twice the amount I paid for my first car--(age give away there).

Just went in for a scheduled oil change. I got there at 7:15 am and I was second in my lane, there were 5 lane of which all had 2 or 3 automobiles. There was a parking attendant there at 7 but the shop did not open until 7:30. My car was finished at 8:40. The five lanes had 5 plus cars in each lane when I left with a 4 hour wait time.As to my rating the car was serviced correctly and the car was left clean (no oil or dirt from the mechanic).

Went to my first oil change thru Toyota Care because I bought a brand new vehicle that require synthetic oil change every 5k, according to my Toyota manual book, and I just hit 5k miles came back to the service front desk because I checked paperwork and no oil change details showing up, just tires rotation records and I told em that’s the main reason I’m here … so they decide to do it, check paperwork in home (big mistake) and they pulled off from my second service from Toyota Care which is in 10k, so now I’ll have to contact Toyota straight and move to some other qualified Toyota service dealer

OK, so I purchased the lifetime oil changes at the time of purchasing my car.I called to set an appointment to get my oil changed because I was going out of town and was told that they were completely booked out for the next month!! (My maintenence light was already on)I was instructed to just show up because they still take walk ins.OK. Sweet. I was going out of town and thought my worries were put to rest! But no....I walk in and stood in line for 15 minutes before I overheard the lady at the desk say that had stopped taking walk ins 3 hours prior.Dont waste your time buying the oil changes.It is not convenient. Our car, Toyota Highlander V6Limited, is not used daily, but enough to keep battery charged, until recent failure to start up the car.Consulting with the battery supplier and subsequent attempt of jump- start. We decide to tow the car to Lithia Toyota where we had some services done before. We had a good discussion with Jake there. With his team they were pondering the possibility of a dead cell. within the battery itself. Bypassing the diagnoses, they replaced the battery, cleaned-up the wiring and started the car. I have leased and purchased 5 vehicles from Lithia Toyota of Medford. On this visit I came for an oil change and was told the tread wear on tires would merit a new set. The Corolla has 29k miles. When asked why the tires would need changing with such low mileage, I was told that new cars do not come with premium tires to provide a smoother ride. The service person told me of a tire sale being offered and the total price was $534. I checked with another vendor and the tired they wanted to sell me were the same quality as the original. RIP OFF! I replaced the four tires with a 50k mile tire for a total of $379 with full waranty coverage. While our purchasing experience has been good in every transaction, I will be looking at other service options in the future. I have a 30k mile service coming up and I believe I will find a much better price for the same service somewhere else. Ill continue to use my lifetime oil change service there, but that will be all. While we love our Toyota vehicles, the service offered after warranty is pretty much a rip off. Since the three vehicles before that were leased, we would not have noticed the difference. We know now. Thank you.

Selling department went smooth, first free oil change took 3 1/2 hrs to complete. Received a notice for a recall on the fuel pump, waited for 5 1/2 hrs and the replacement was not completed. I Id enough of the showroom and asked for my keys.I was notified at 1230 that the jack was broken and that my vehicle should be repaired by 2:300.As I looked into the service area the vehicle was setting there with nobody around. Evidently folks were out to lunch.Sure things occur beyond folks control yet there always seem to be a reason in that shop. Personnel is always professional and quick to have a rational reason to explain yet I always seem to spend allot more time then the estimation. A private smaller shop would have found a way to lower the gas tank and get it done instead of working on the jack. No winners in this story.

I purchased lifetime oil service when I bought my Avalon. The service has always been prompt and well done. However on my last visit I had a headlight that was out. It happened several days ago and I forgot to mention to the advisor upon checking in. When I got back home my wife told me the light was still out when I pulled into the garage. I drove back to Lithia and asked them to fix it and for some reason they told me the bulb was good and that they could not figure out why the wiring was not working. They wanted to send me to a private repair place to have it worked on. I felt that since I purchased the vehicle there they should have done the work. I finally left and went to my own mechanic and made an appointment to find out what was wrong. Normally I would give them 5 stars but because they missed it the first time and would not repair it when I came in I cannot rate them high.

Had an issue with an unusual sound coming from the front brakes. Tom did a thorough inspection and found nothing wrong with the brakes. He recommended I purchase new brakes in the near future. The service was done within an hour, and I havent noticed the same issue since.

The service yesterday on my 2018 Rav 4 was excellent. Even though the service center was incredibly busy, I had an appointment and my car was serviced in record time. I appreciated the no pressure--just helpful information approach when Joe showed me my dirty air cabin filter and asked if I wanted it to be replaced. When I first moved to So. Oregon in the 90s I refused to go to Lithia for car service and repairs since the few times I had been there they were running late, the techs were often rude and the salesmen were pushy. My 2004 Prius was purchased at Wheeler Toyota in Grants Pass and serviced there as well, even though Medford is much closer to my Ashland home. In 2011 I decided to try Lithia Toyota again when I bought another Prius, and was impressed with the degree of professionalism that had been missing before. The folks in the service department were especially helpful in 2018 when, thanks to some resident squirrels, I had to have major work done under the hood of the 2011 Prius. Buying my 2018 Rav 4 in early 2019 was the best car buying experience Ive ever had, and in the ensuing two years, my scheduled service appointments have gone smoothly--thanks to the knowledgeable, polite, helpful staff in the service department.

Here is an honest review from a regular guy:The actual servicing of the vehicle was just fine. The guys in the shop did a great job of fixing my steering wheel misalignment on my brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma.The customer service I received from the office was absolutely awful. Tom Pitts was rude and made me feel like I was a major inconvenience in his day. I will be actively avoiding the Medford Lithia Toyota service center because of this and would much rather drive all the way to Grants Pass rather than deal with him again. He did not ask questions or investigate my trucks misalignment and instead made assumptions as to what caused the issue and curtly told me Toyota wont cover it next time when I picked up my truck later on. Im not sure why he is in a customer service role in that company when he clearly belongs tucked away somewhere where his cranky attitude cant effect anyone.On a lighter note, Jarren Brown was an absolute delight to work with! Fortunately for me, Tom was on the phone when I came to pick up my truck and Jarren was able to help me out. He was friendly and courteous and made me feel welcome. If I could specifically choose to work directly with Jarren Brown in the future my opinion on this dealership would change.

They basically blew us off and sent us away with a oil change (from our lifetime oil change) and codes on the check engine. I arranged for my appointment about 3 days ahead when I told the employee about the need to change the lock on my fuel tank door as well as the oil change. I was not told then that the door lock was not stocked and would need to be ordered.My appointment was for 9AM. When I arrived I was directed to the lane that they wanted the vehicle. I went inside where I waited for John for 10 minutes. We confirmed what was to be done, basically an oil change and a change to the fuel door lock. John did not tell me that the lock was not in stock. I asked about how long that would take and was told it would be about an hour, thus ten to ten thirty. I went for a walk. Upon returning at about 9:45, I told John I was back. However, I waited until 11 when I again approached John about the status of my vehicle. Apparently the oil change had been completed earlier but no one told me that. When I approached John he then told me that the lock for the fuel door was not done because they did not stock the lock. I needed to order and pay for the lock. This could have been done prior to the appointment, but was not. So, it took until about 11:30 to get my vehicle and the work that I really needed done was not done, so I have to return for that. This is inefficient and inconvenient for me. It should not have taken 2 1/2 hours to do an oil change with an appointment. I should have been told when I called to make the appointment that the fuel door lock was not stocked and needed to be ordered and paid for. Both the oil change and the lock replacement are small time items. It would have been better for both the dealer and me if I had been told this when I called for the appointment or, if not then, when I first came in with the vehicle. So, I got the vehicle without all the work I had requested done, without receiving prompt notice of the oil change completion, and with having to make still another service appointment. Not good communication and not good business practices.

I just recently moved to the Medford area. My current Toyota dealer located in Hillsboro Oregon recommended that I get new rear brakes since There was only 3 mm left. I needed a new local dealership and also I am considering purchasing a new Vehicle in the next six months. The check in process was extremely lengthy. Over 20 minutes which seems excessive given that I had an appointment. It seemed like there was a shortage of staff. My old dealership typically had at least three or four service writers available at any time during the day when I went there and check in was never more than 5 minutes. However, the service writer John was extremely patient with customers and handled the shortage of staff extremely well. He definitely can use some help. In the end my brakes turned out to be fine and I appreciate the dealership pointing that out and not fixing something that didn’t need to be fixed. That says a lot.I do think they need work on getting customers turned around quicker because if I do come there again for additional service I will have to allocate a lot more time to the effort based on this experience.

Oil changes go smoothly and easily, though its usually quite a wait. They do have a shuttle that can drop you off at home if you live nearby though, which is an excellent service.The service section is much more hit or miss. I had a recall that required service and that went smoothly. They only have service Mon-Friday 8-4, and no loaner cars so you will have to take off work if you work normal human hours.Other times the service side can be frustrating to deal with. I dropped my car off for a diagnosis of my center console/bluetooth issue (drops calls and reboots itself while driving) and they said they fixed the issue with an update (they couldnt duplicate it and didnt tell me they couldnt duplicate it, but said they fixed it). It did it within moments of driving off the lot and have to return again to get an actual diagnosis (which should have been done while my car sat there all day). And yet another day without a car (remember, no loaners allowed) and another day once they get the parts and actually have to do the repair.Also, the scheduler of the service section can be curt and a little ignorant. Do not expect the person scheduling your service to know what was done, even when they bring up your service history/account. (I, dumbly, thought they would know with my account right in front of them) You HAVE to wait until your appointment time to start to speak to someone about your issue.Overall, its hit and miss for good service, if the work is done, its always done well. I think they do genuinely want to help, but they are really busy and dont seem have the time to help customers they way they should.

In preparation for our 10 year anniversary my wife and I are renting a trailer. A critical element to picking it up in the next week or so is the installation of a brake controller. I didnt give Tom and his team much notice on the order and installation of the controller but they worked hard to accomodate my wife and I. Fuel pump recall. I’m 77 & my wife is 71. We both have medical issues & often must travel from Yreka, CA to health facilities in Ashland/Medford over Siskiyou Pass on I5. It is a very treacherous pass often closed during extreme weather. Not many pullouts. Tom in service at Lithia Toyota recognized the dangers of a fuel pump outage and provided a loaner car until our RAV4 was repaired. People like Tom are why Toyota maintains an excellent reputation. I had to start at Lithia because thats where my warranty was purchased through, but my problem was not covered. Where do I start, they lied to me about everything. My experience was only good because I towed away my car before they could pile on more bogus charges for parts and labor. First the parts, they said I needed two heater hoses, a main hose that has a tree of three, and an auxiliary hose with another tree of three. Lithia wanted to charge me 731.00 for the two. Chevrolet wanted 189.00 each. I got them for 94.00 each. Then my mechanic said I only needed the main hose and just two off the tree of three. I did not need the other auxiliary hose at all. Now the labor, wanted 625.00 to replace all these hoses even the ones not needed. I had to pay 123.00 just to be told lies. Total, Lithia wanted a total of1356.00 to replace heater hoses. my mechanic charged me 270.00 and I supplied the part.. Returned second hose set not needed.
