Always great customer service and quality products at Safeway keeps me going back. If you shop smart and take advantage of the deals its no more expensive than the suoerstructure warehouse size grocery stores.

Super friendly employees. Really enjoyed the bakery lady. They make some beautiful cakes. Super fast at check out. Definitely will be returning to try the fruit tart and the tress lech cake it looks fabulous.

I waited in line at the deli about 2 min while the guy behind the counter talked to someone else about their music. A nice blonde lady came and helped me. I asked for a lb of the general tso chicken and she gave me 3/4th of a lb. I was irritated initially because I was splitting it between two people but Im glad I didnt have to pay for a full lb because it gave us both food poisoning anyways. Awesome! Would not recommend.

Ill never return. Ive been overcharged by them for the last time. A 1# package of Tillamook grated cheese was advertised for 3.89. it rang up at 6.99 after using my rewards card. when I disputed the price the cashier claimed to have bad hearing. I quickly grew tired of repeating myself over a couple $. Its hard to believe theyre willing to lose customers over small things like this.

I am so incredibly tired to hear a political/social rant every time I check out there from your cashiers. Every time. I have heard about how our country is in a state of anarchy, how grocery stores will soon run out of food, how they vote, etc. And they cant talk AND bag. They have to stop and lecture me, completely unprompted on my end. I just want to buy my food and go home. Your cashiers always preventing this from happening.

It was good lots of product out and todays $5 Friday so there was lots of deals going on. Great to go in there and see some old familiar faces. Josh youre one of the best glad youre still there.

One thing you can trust with Safeway is they will have groceries. All kinds of groceries. Groceries that come in big boxes and groceries that come in small bags. Groceries are one of those key essential things that you need to live and Safeway has them in the store, on the shelves. You can walk around the store and pretend that you are like Caesar at a market during the Roman empire, selecting the best goods for you and rejecting the ones that dont meet your needs. The Bakery Department is the greatest in the Medford area!!!! I just called today to order a Boston cream cake for my Husbands Birthday/ fathers day and the lady who took my order was wonderful....I love how they talk to me and help me figure out what I need her customer service is wonderful!!!! Please let everyone know if you need anything to do with Baking goods so the the Safeway on Craterlake Hwy,Medford Oregon. They will always treat you well and there Bakery 🥯🧁 does the best job in our town .... I am so happy 😁 with this Bakery.....I will tell everyone I know about my experience.

Most of the items were on sale so no complaints on price. The lady was having problems with her purchase because the store didnt have it posted. She said the ad she had showed another price. The manager did not argue and gave her the sale price her ad allegedly had. Good service!

Great got chicken breast and thighs for 1.49 lb. GREAT DEAL !!! Got from meat counter so it wasnt all gross like, soaking in a bunch of salmonella juice and it was much better pieces than package. Very good buy ☺️

Love shopping at Safeway. We use their discount program and it helps us save lots of money! Also the employees are very polite and helpful when we need assistance. And the Pharmacy employees are extremely polite and helpful!

They have signs saying “masks required” but the assistant store manager says they don’t have to enforce it. Lots of unmasked people wandering around and breathing on the produce. No wonder nobody wants to work for them; they care nothing for their people health.

Great customer service. I wish I would’ve got the baggers name. He was so helpful and nice, and gave me a couple reusable bags.

I really liked this store because of the quality of deli meats and cheeses. What I dont like is the Deli Manager Michael. Conveniently always at the back of the deli when only 1 or 2 people are out serving us customers. Did I mention how much of a douchebag he is? It doesnt seem like he does anything except stand around and push a little cart to put a few dainty items in the little cooler! I wish I had his job!

If you have to turn around then this is an inevitable reroute to double back to the interstate!

They were understaffed during checkout. Unable to get a response from management regarding an item out of stock, as all management was out side having a lunch meeting. What staff that was working were wonderful and doing their best to keep up.

Yeah, the brand is a little more expensive but the store is always very clean and organized. Even the candy bars are all lined up straight. I can really appreciate the care that goes into the management of this store.

Depending on what time of day you go its pretty nice. When I go first thing in the morning they arent very friendly. But I went this evening and they were great and helpful. I go for the customer service not the prices because you can get everything there cheaper at wal mart.

It’s a very nice store, with a large variety of products and really nice produce, but be prepared ... no matter what time of day you go in, be prepared to wait in line to check out. And wait, and wait, and wait. Usually they’re low on open check stands, but even when there is more than one open (really, just one), the staff seem sooo slow.One time I went in for no more than half a dozen items. There were two open and I went into the 15 items or less. The checker was waiting on another employee and they were talking about the lobster on sale. The checker kept going on and on about how he wanted to buy one and needed the guy in line’s approval to save it (or something). The line guy said he’d sign the form. And I waited and waited, sending the people behind me to the other check stand.I finally said something, because my daughter was home alone after a six-week hospital stay and I needed to get back to her. The checker guy said, “Hey, it’s for my dinner tonight.” I lost it as much as I’m capable of losing it, and he got to work on my order—commenting on every single thing I bought. I was furious.

1 of the associates seems to always be inconvenienced - I was charged for 17 avocados last year by this person and he made it seem like a problem to correct it. This year when asking about something listed in the add he gave me her personal opinion as to what soda he likes better and why the sale didnt matter to him because he didnt like the products. I just wanted to clarify what I was reading not seeing a person opinion

The deli is pretty good, especially the egg rolls. They usually have a good variety.

This is by far the largest Safeway Ive ever seen. The interior was very clean and organized. If I lived up this way it would definitely be my go to grocery store

As I was leaving, an elderly soul requested my help.. she was visibly distraught. I of course ran to her.. Yall have 3 motorized/disabled carts 1 out of order1 dead in water outsideOnce she made it inside with her oxygen, exhausted, the remaining one, was not operable either.. She cant shop without it. I spent 6 minutes, of MY time, looking for someone to assist her, or myself for that matter ! Not one single employee was willing to follow me to her.. (x3).. I, along with this wonderful lady, will no longer shop in your store. It was my first visit. Definitely will not be a 2nd. We went to Fred Meyer. Yes I HELPED HER, and transported her. She spent $389.62 in CASH money, on food. Your loss

Largest Safeway in the area, great selection and well-organized.

They had good prices on marrow and eggs. I also like to rummage the meat mgr. clearance section for an extra 30% off.

Gotta love Safeway! Theres always a good deal on something you need. Produce is always in top-notch shape. Stores are clean. Wide selection. People are always friendly and helpful. A Starbucks shop in the store is a treat. Deli has good food.

Prices are trying to hide but the long lines are short

Safeway always had wonderful fresh baked goods and a wide variety of produce too. Its nice to be able to get great meats and cheeses from their deli. Not to mention the wide selection of different prepared foods from their deli too!

FYI propane cage has key broken off in lock but they failed to know that. had to wait 20 mins for a refund while the ice cream i just bought melted.
