A group of us were headed to Minneapolis from central WI to catch a flight. Our windshield wipers stopped working on hwy 94 in the middle of a rain storm. We somehow found our way to TMS. They didnt have an actual opening to get us in, but were able to squeeze us in to help us in this emergency. We are so grateful! And we did catch our flight--with literally minutes to spare. Thank you TMS!!

Phenomenal. As a younger women, mechanic shops are always intimidating as I have no idea about any of this stuff. They take the time to explain in ways I will and are so genuine. We will ALWAYS take our vehicles there.

Good tv channel on, or change if long wait. Street salt corrodes aluminum tirerims. Youll have to put air in your tires alot. To solve alot of the problem for you the customer, they sand the rims wheneveryone. Its free when your tires are rotated. They recommend you rotate themevery 3000 miles. They sold me new tirestoday. They have an insurance called;”Road hazard. Youll call the tire insurance co. Anywhere iñ the U.S. atow truck will be sent to take the car to an auto shop to a low cost but quality tire repair shop. Just towing across Menomonie, wi costs $ 140. From off interstates, or any distance, its higher. Due to covid-19, you cannot ride with the tow truck, so you must arrange for your own ride. Remember, not even A.A.A.That I have will fix my $70 tire. AAA auto insurance will pay for your motel stay, &meals, but only fix car, not tire. And you must be 200 mi from home. All of the costs you pay up front, but only you receive a check in the mail. I have aspain tire with the car and AAA will change it and tow you 200 miles home forfree. Youll have to buy the AAA premiumPackage for$150 a year. I dont go on long car travel due to covid-19. Im have to have heat, and cold weather clothes andemergency things for any time AFTERCORONAVIRUS & when I can ride with theWrecker. Only a newer car I recommend for hi--way driving otherwise youreHAY---wire. Cars cost alot to run,

We were passing through while on a family vacation, just before Labor Day, no less when we had an auto problem. They were able to get us in within 1 1/2 hour and had us back on the road in a total of two hours after we walked in the door. Their rate was so reasonable and they were so very accommodating! I would definitely recommend. The Ford garage across the street wouldnt even bother and suggested we try there. That says so very much.

Have had my vehicle here over a dozen times for a variety of work. Always honest service. Timely work and professional shop. Cant say enough about the service provided at TMS. Would recommend to anyone.

I know one thing these guys cant fix are brakes. Took it there three times they never bothered to fix them. Had to take it to another garage to get them fixed. How can they keep going when they dont know what they are doing and dont care about the customer. Good thing there are other places to take a vehicle. Respect thats what they need to do.. or get some better mechanics in there that care about people....

We had an incredible experience! We had a muffler system that needed to be replaced to avoid further problems with our 3/4 ton vehicle. We were able to get in right away (on a Saturday no less). Dan was incredibly honest and knowledgeable. The work was quality, the price was very reasonable and the job was completed quickly. We will be back!

I called at 10 AM on a Saturday morning and spoke with Jesse, who is very friendly and accommodating on the phone. He had me bring my lawn tractor tire in and they promptly patched it for me. Excellent friendly service, I would highly recommend this company.

TMS is a great business. As with any service work if you explain what you need done they will do it and do it well. They have been faithful and honest everyone Ive used their service over the years .

I brought my car to TMS because it wouldnt start. They ran their diagnostic tests for over 2 hours and told me that I needed to buy a new mechanism that sits under the clutch pedal, as well as a new cruise control thing (which has nothing to do with the car starting). After the manager told me these findings I was skeptical about his honestly about this and told them I didnt want them to get parts or fix it. They charged $197.00 for their tests! Didnt even fix anything. I came to pick up the car from their lot and brought a new battery, put it in, and the car started up fine and I have been driving it problem free for over a week. Also after inspection the clutch mechanism they said that needed to be replaced was FINE, and nowhere on their work sheet did it even say they checked the battery. I called the manager to try and get some of my $197.00 back, and he was EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. He said he could give me a break if I came back to get the work done on my car! Is this a joke!? The car is running! I will never go back to these unprofessional jerks, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone based on the unbelievably poor service and amateur lying tactics of this sad garage. They should be ashamed at the scamming business they are running.

I had a flat tire up in Wheeler after all the tire shops were closed on a Sunday evening. I had the vehicle towed to TMS auto and rode home with family the rest of the way to the Twin Cities. When I got a ride back in the morning the tire repair was done and the vehicle was ready to go with no waiting. I was very impressed and highly recommend TMS Tire & Auto.

First time at the shop. Very clean and professional. Just a heads up, appointment only! Had a bad squeal after a brake change from a different place. In and out at TMS within 5 minutes, problem solved, no charge. Friendly people. Will definitely come back here. They even had a elder customer waiting in the lobby who told me he’s been coming here for about 8 years and when they need to keep his vehicle over night, they will even drop him off and pick him up. Straight up and honest about what needs to be fixed. They don’t just want your money like other shops!

Scam shop. Dont go to this shop.Ive had issues with this shop for a long time now. Dropped off my car to get it looked at because my brakes wasnt working that well. I was told that my brake system is messed up all the way to the master cylinder and it would cost $1k to get it fix so i opted out not to do it. A month later my brakes have gotten worst and Ive decided to go for it and get it fix so i brought it back in to TMS and this time they told me a different story saying that its only the two back brake lines and it would cost me $400. I told them how come a month ago i got a different story, dude didnt know what to say about it.I recently bought a used SUV and brought it in for clunky noise. I was told it was sway bar end link and it would cost $160 both sides replacements. About a week later It started making clunky noise again so I took my wheels off and check, I notice that my sway bar end link was all rusted covering the edges so I decided to take them off and inspect it. Sure enough they were the old sway bar end link that it originally came with the car. TMS was supposed to replace my sway bar end link but instead all they did was clean it up to appear like new but missed some rust that was still on there.I thought back and remember that I had my muffler replaced from TMS previous to the end link so I checked my muffler and yup it wasnt replaced at all. All they did was patched up the hole and still charge me for full muffler replacement. No wonder now my muffler is making noise again.

My fiance needed a new set of tires on her Toyota. We ordered a set of tires online as Im a motorhead always looking for good deals on quality part . Now I know tire shops want to sell you tires, its how they stay in the black and grow as a busines . However, coming up short on service doesnt do them any good. Had the tires installed and balanced, and the vehical aligned. The alignment was still good, but we got charged for a full service. (Fine, they took the time to put it on the rack and slap the reflectors on it) A week later, 3 tires were flat. Diagnosed to find 3 of the new valve stems leaking. Called and asked if they could replace them. The reply I got was you didnt buy the tires from us, we wont warranty the valve stems. I found this a bit disappointing seeing that the stems have literally no nothing to do with the tires. In stead we had to go to there competitor, pay for dismount, stems, mount and balance. Wont be doing business with TMS again, very disappointed with there lack of responsibility for there mistakes.

Very knowledgeable and open staff, told me everything about my options, warranties, rebates, and charges upfront without needing any prompts. Even gave me an envelope to hold my tire warranty in my glove box that has slots to track my tire rotations printed on the outside.

They were friendly enough however I SCHEDULED a appointment for 1000 AM on Friday to get my tire changed. I gave them all the vehicle information they needed to order the tire. I even got there early just to be told they couldnt fix the hole in my tire and they would have to order the tire and wouldnt get to it until 2pm. What a waste of time!! I SCHEDULED a dam appointment to replace my tire, NOT to tell me it cant be fixed. I will never go there again!!!

I have been going to TMS Auto for four years now as Ive been attending school in Menomonie and Ive never been once been disappointed. They have tested and worked on my car(s) for starter issues, battery problems, fuel pump replacement, head gasket replacement plus occasional oil/coolant fills and theyre always a pleasure to work with. I have noticed a significant price difference in their work to other shops back home in MN and theyre some of their prices quite generous for the work they do. Plus theyve gone out of their way to help me in certain situations as well and I wouldnt chose a different company around Menomonie.
