Purchased my first car here and was so excited. I got a decent deal on a nice sedan and couldnt be happier. That was until I started to notice a rough rattling in my car. Found out that my fuel injector was bad and needed replaced! I was told at the dealership before I bought the car that their mechanics did a thorough inspection and it was in perfect condition. When I called Markquart to ask if they would replace the fuel injector since I had only purchased the car a few months before, they told me that they wouldnt. I hate to say it but I feel like they knew it was broken and gave me such a great deal because they needed it off their lot. If they inspected the car, they would have found this and fixed it before trying to sell it! Now I have to shell out $600 to replace it myself. Very disappointed!

Salesman Todd Nelson is a liar dont believe a word he says. We purchased a 2015 dodge ram 1500 from him. He told us there was a 90 day warranty on our vehicle. We had the truck for two months when the AC compressor went out. Dealership said there is nothing we can do, our warranty is only 30 days. Salesman also claimed vehicle was previously purchased from their dealership and only serviced there, we have found out this is also a lie. The repair for the AC compressor to be fixed is estimated at $1600. I would never purchase a vehicle from here again.

Bought a used 2020 Dodge Ram and had an awesome salesman named Todd Nelson. Helped us within seconds of pulling into the lot, we almost dodged him but glad I didnt. He answered my questions and didnt give me rude replies which was nice. Then the wheeling and dealing came along with Nathan Felix finance guy. He was accommodating and patient. All other employees were cordial and kind. As for the truck I noticed a few dents on it that I didnt find until I took delivery but otherwise so far so good. Waiting on getting it undercoated and the bed sprayed, month out...that sucks. Also, great new location, much better curb appeal and next to kwik trip and fleet farm. Other than the money I had/have to pay, Ive had a good experience so far.

I am from Maryland and had purchased a new Ram truck for a trip I had to make to Minnesota. The truck was 1 week old. Shortly into my trip home I pulled off to check the trailer I was pulling home when I found a significant hole in one of my coolant lines. Roadside assistance was overwhelmed and unable to respond. Bait & switch! Beware! They posted a vehicle at one price, and switched it on us a few hours before we were going to drive it. Price was confirmed with the salesman, but all of the sudden increased over 3k! We had our financing in motion and were about to make a 3 hour round trip to purchase. We passed up another vehicle and wasted our time. I would stay away from this dealership because this was shady and very poor customer service!

Horrible service. Went in pre-approved looking for a truck. The sales guy, the sales manager, and finance manager all tried to strong arm me into using their banks. Using every sales trick in the book to make it seem like they can give me the best deal, better than my credit union. A day later, I decided to see if they can follow through on their promises. So I provided them with my information to match or beat my credit union. A whole business day went by, didnt hear from them. Called the sales guy the next afternoon, and he tells me that I got approved late the night before. But when he got in earlier today, the car has already been sold. What a waste of time and effort. Not only that, my credit score was pulled and wasted cause of poor customer service at its finest. Would not recommend doing business with people like this. Better off going to a dealership that actually follows through with their words and genuinely interested in helping seal a deal for the customer.

I will NEVER buy a jeep again. Bought a 2018 jeep compass from them in April 2020. As of right now, my auto start/ stop warning light came on, brakes locked up and engine turned off while driving on a main road, ( needed a system update from a recall 19 days before it happened, and did not receive notification about it before it happened) and now my sway bars are needing replaced ( $368) I am parking my jeep and NEVER DRIVING IT AGAIN.

I brought my 2006 jeep liberty here to get a rear main seal and tighten up the drivers side rear door panel, the jeep was there for 2 days, they found out that I needed new transmission lines so they installed them too. The cool thing was they saved me about $250 by modifying the lines, Kevin did a great job keeping me informed about the repairs on my jeep, I would definitely recommend markquart jeep in menomonie for fixing your car, jeep and truck. Went to this dealership to look at a car I had seen on their website. Michael was so patient. I had spoken to him several times over the phone and wasnt able to get out to see the car until a few weeks later. The car was in great condition! I recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee, but the customer service was lacking. The salesperson kept hopping up from his desk to check for another customer when clearly I should have been his prime concern as I was buying a vehicle for a good chunk of change, which I am sure he was going to make a commission on. Manager and finance guy were also a bit to be desired and thought myself and the guests with me knew nothing about vehicles. I was disappointed in the customer service!

Even though he did not sell me a truck and that Im still looking he has given me information and help me through this journey. I had brain surgery in February and I no longer can drive. So I Im looking for a truck with many options at a certain price and Charlie has been helping me locate a good deal without even being on his lot. iHes giving me information and he has told me I can call him at anytime for for questions. I need to find a truck that my wife can drive in the snow to take me to all my doctors appointments thats durable and trustworthy and I believe that I will find one soon but I do want everyone to know that if you want to find a good car or truck you need to go see these people. They have GREAT Customer service. Only wish that I could have met Charlie face-to-face and purchased a truck off his lot.

No one masked inside, didnt have any available to their staff. They did fine, didnt really walk through title process for MN, but my salesman through the Eau Claire dealer who met us there to get a truck they had was great.

There service manager in menominee is rude and worthless. I think the owner is a good person. They rebuilt the transmission in our van under warranty. 6 weeks later it went out again. They fixed it and it is not right. It is going out again and I asked them to go for a ride with me he said no. Guess I will just wait for it to go out again

Top head checked my tires gave me prices for 6 types of tires and showed me the ones that I have that I will save for. Dressed in my clothes for working on car knowing I was not going to be able to buy a car, oh he checked the tread and he said that it was over half there. When done I was just happier than all get out. Then I was offered hot coffee, or 4 types of chilled soda !!!!!!!

Worse experience with their service center. I called them about a recall on my van and they found that it was still valid and took the information to order the part and said it would be a couple days and they would have the part. Three days go by and I get a call that they had not ordered the part and that they needed more information about the vehicle. They said that the part will be by Monday and they can work on it whenever after that. I gave them a few extra days and set up to drop my vehicle off on Wednesday. Received another call that day saying they ordered the wrong part and the part wont be in for another day and the vehicle could be done Friday morning. Two days in the shop for a three hour job. Friday mid-morning comes around and I get a voicemail saying that they could not fix the problem and that they were putting the vehicle back together and I could come get it. They couldnt fix it because it was screwing up the remote start that they assumed I had installed. The remote start has never worked for me and I would have told them that if they had asked me if I still wanted them to continue with the fix or not. They assumed that I did not want to continue and did what they wanted to do. They also would just throw out words and phrases that made no sense to me and did not explain how that would affect my vehicle. They said I could bring it back if I still wanted to get it fixed. The cherry on top was that when I was leaving they handed me the key and said my vehicle was right out front and pointed me in the direction. I drove around and had to search their whole lot to find it and eventually found it tucked away in the rear of the building (opposite direction I was told to go). The people were polite but terrible communication and terrible service assuming what the customer wanted in stead of asking a simple question.

Just recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited here and had a wonderful experience. I was warmly welcomed the second I walked in and was treated extremely well throughout the entire duration of my visit. Every person that I talked with including management, sales and finance were very knowledgeable, accommodating and understanding. I was presented with multiple options and recommendations to fit my needs. Going in I was a little nervous about purchasing a new Jeep, but by the time I left I knew that I was getting exactly what I wanted and was so pleased with my decision. They were more interested in making sure I was getting what I wanted and for the right price. I thank Trail Automotive for helping me out in making a huge financial decision. They did a recall for me which was good… But they said my crank case filter needed replaced and it would cost right around $500… You can get it from Napa for just over $100 and I replaced it myself in about 10 minutes… not sure what their hourly wages are here but it sounds really good if you’re an employee

Do not buy from here!!! After being hounded by the salesman for over a month wondering if I was still in the market for a vehicle, I decided to give them a shot. I found a truck that I thought would be perfect. I was going to finance my first vehicle and they advertise helping first time buyers and buyers with bad credit. Come to find out this is not the case at all. I talked to the salesman and told him exactly what truck I would like. After going online and doing their pre-approval process, as I work crazy hours and didnt want to waste my time coming in if they could not do anything, I had to contact them about it. Then come to find out they actually did a hard pull on my credit which is not what I thought a pre-approval was which is just a soft pull. I went along with it because I really wanted the truck. Then the sales manager calls and says that I need to either put more money down or have a trade in. That is all good as it is the first time I am financing a vehicle. I give him the information on what I would like to put down and my trade in. He said that he would call me back with the information. Again after waiting until the next day, I had to contact them. All for them to say that they couldnt do anything and after offering me $1000 less than fair market trade in value on my vehicle. They did not even try to work with me or figure out some way to help other than trying to get me to cosign. I have bought many vehicles and have always purchased them outright and this is the worst possible experience I have ever had. I have been getting all my car services done at Markquart entities and wanted to go with them for my next vehicle. Needless to say that I will not ever be doing business with any Markquart entity ever again. I would suggest you look somewhere else as well!

The guys in the service department John and Mike were miracle workers. We lost a key for our 2014 Jeep Patriot while travelling from Miami to Menomonie. We called from Miami and within four hours they got a replacement key, towed the car in to program the key and returned the car, leaving the invoice on the seat for us to return to pay the next day. They didnt know us from Adam and yet they did this work for us and trusted us. It was really nice to get back to the Midwest small town treatment!

Worst experience of my life! Brought my truck in looking to trade in on a 2018 they had in there used lot. I took the new truck for a test drive. And they took my truck for one as well. I get back and we start talking numbers, they Preced to tell me that the 4 wheel drive in my truck is out and doesnt work doesnt engage. I look at them Dumbfoundead I know my 4 wheel drive works I have never had an issue with it. And I had just used it a week prior to this! So they gave me a lowball offer because my four-wheel drive didnt work. I told them no thank you Im going to go home and check out my 4wd. I get home and I test it out on a gravel road and somehow it magically worked! So I say kudos to them if this is how they want to run their dealership!

The service desk is aweful! Ron is the rudest person Ive ever met and would benefit from some customer service classes! I usually buy a new car every year and I promise I will never buy from Trail Dodge again after my experience with repairs and Rons extremely rude comments and attitude. I have a newborn all my myself most days and am a working mom. Ive had many appointment for our less than a year old car that has transmission problems that are normal according to them to feel like the transmission is going to go out with less than 15,000 miles. I made an appointment and they were unable to take my car because of their computer. Did I get a curtesy cancel call? No! I loaded up my newborn and went and had to drive back and reschedule. I always get grief about I cant promise a loaner car for appointments made far enough in advance that they could plan. Its not my fault the car I bought from you is broken and you cant fit it after 3 tries. Why should I have to figure out a ride and pay a taxi for myself and newborn to probably hear again that you cant fix my car and its normal for a transmission to feel like its slipping. 🙄 Thats probably how they can offer a lifetime warranty, because nothing is fixed! Its all normal to be broken.Also dont expect help anytime near closing because they Ron will answer and say, Im about ready to walk out the door, call back tomorrow. 🙄

I will not mince words when writing this -- under Northstar come stances should anybody ever buy a vehicle from this establishment.I made it less than 6 miles from the dealership in a used vehicle that was still covered under all of the factory warranties. I brought it back and they agreed to change the front brakes and rotated the tires. They never mentioned however that there was awful uneven tire wear. So by the time weather cleared up a few days later and I wasnt driving with the additional road noise of down pouring rain all I could hear was the awful road noise from the tireThey made me come back only to tell me that the person who could help me out with tires wasnt there. Then I drove another five days with my family and its on safe vehicle waiting for them to get a hold of me and it took me prompting them for another discussion. The guy then told me he wouldnt cover the tires and help me out at all. However I was more than welcome to bring the vehicle back for the check engine light that Id come on during those five days as well

We bought a vehicle here 3 months ago and still dont have the title a car dealer has 30 days to give the buyer a title for the vehicle. We called last week they said they call back in a hour and they never called back.

I know a person who bought a car from them and with in that week it started miss firing, so they took it back to see if they would do whats right and fix it...but Nope! They charged them the whole fee to fix the problem ! Not good buisness!!! Hope this helps others looking at cars from them!

Bought new tires from this place and band broke in tire, would do nothing to help with problem. Will never go back.
