Very friendly staff and great service. We had an issue with the field replacement of our windshield and Safelite replaced the windshield in their shop very quickly. No problems since. Thank you for standing behind your warranty and going that extra mile to make sure the experience was honest and professional. I will definitely recommend your shop to anyone who is looking for a windshield replacement!

Had window repaired from a dime size chip in windshield. Before tech left the Crack grew bigger. Nothing was done about it via safelite or my insurance comany. Dont bother with this scam place. And good luck trying to get in touch with an actual person. So if you consider a repair dont, because they just gave me the excuse that the previous damage before compromised the window and repairs arent guaranteed(only guarantee is that the chip will get bigger.) Same old b-lls-it excuse from a company out to get you.

Im very upset at the repair that I had March 2nd, 2020. The side trim on both sides of my engine bay is missing. I can see that they snapped the retaining clips that held the trim on. Rather than replace them it would appear they just left my trim off.As a result, the filler neck for my windshield washer fluid fell off, and landed right against the belt driving the alternator. The belt ate a large chunk of the filler neck away, and its basically useless. I dont know what happened to my trim, and I dont understand why they even had to take it off, but its necessary to keep the filler neck in place. Ive called Safelite care, and have an appointment for them to come to my house to assess what went wrong with the repair.Update (Mar. 10, 2020): Safelite mobile repair came to take pictures of my missing trim and hole in the filler neck. The tech who came out was awesome, and very friendly. He told me I can expect someone to get ahold of me, and that hes not sure how long it will take.Update (Sep. 7, 2021): Covid happened, and I think I fell through the cracks. Ive since paid out of pocket to replace the trim and filler neck myself. I cant really fault anyone for that, but, it is indeed what happened.

First windshield was scratched. They offered a discount if we took the scratched one, but we decided to wait and ordered another. Scheduling was easy and service was very fast. A discount for the inconvenience would have been nice, but overall it was good service. Staff very friendly and covid protocol in place.

They did a wonderful job adhering to Covid precautions and completed the job of replacing my windshield in about 45 min. Also, while my appointment was originally for 3 pm., they called me in the morning with a reminder and said they had a cancellation and asked if I wanted to bring my car in at 10:00 am. Which I did! It was great! I was home by 11:00am.

Had to have my windshield replaced. The tech was friendly, but unable to calibrate my lane detection or collision cameras. Now I have to go to the dealership and have them clear the codes and get the cameras calibrated. This now requires me to submit more forms and receipts to insurance and wait for reimbursement. The whole point of using Safelite was convenience and now its a nothing but a huge pain.

Jesse was an awesome technician. There was some issues with the windshield needing to be ordered from the manufacturer, but he did everything in his power to have it done ASAP and it looks incredible. While the work was done good, the service was horrible. I had to come back because it was raining and they couldnt do the recalibration. So they needed a payment info on file. While this was ok they told me it wouldnt be charged/pending or ran threw. Came back to get the recalibration done dropped off my car and before I came back to pick up my car and pay for it they charged my card before the work was complete and without my authorization. No time for me to transfer the necessary funds. A simple sorry was the only thing they did.

The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I hated that my windshield got cranked and needed to be replaced but they worked to make the process much easier. They took care of everything with the insurance too. They finished the job pretty fast as well.The waiting room that you sit in while they work on your car is about as comfortable as a doctors office (good but not great) and I found the TV in there quite annoying. There were snacks and beverages provided, though which I really appreciated.Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend them.

It happened at 8:15 we went to leave our truck for the repair of the rear glass which is called manager of that branch just charged me and asked us for the key this same person never came out with us to do any inspection, seeing the operating mode We made it from the company for ourselves, when we went to pick up our truck we see that the horn panel of the right door is broken we enter the office to make the claim and it happens that he has a photo with the panel of the broken horn arguing that it was like this, something that is not true even until scratches have where I imagine dismantling or installing the glass they did, the case is that now the manager does not want to answer for his negligence and fails to process any vehicle, my truck only has 2 and a half weeks with me I do not have children and the passengers back seats are not used at all so I hope they have the lack of being resp Responsible for your negligence and lack of professionalism.Please, anyone who reads this review be very careful with the safelite branch in Mentor Ohio since their way of working seems so dishonest to me that if they look well in their reviews there are several clients with complaints similar to mine.

Total fraud !! Setup an online appointment for a glass replacement with no camera calibration for vehicle- got an all day 8-5pm appointment, called at noon to confirm time for tech, customer service cancelled my appointment becuase I did not want to buy the add on service --total bait and switch !! Go somewhere else- many other good choices available -They were extremely rude pushy and just threw the phone down - after declinig the add-on service $300 more !!!

I had originally called another company to fix my window, after 4 No Show No Call appts my son suggested Safelite..They were GREAT! I made the appt online easy peasy. Safelite needed to change the time and they came to us free of charge.. Fixed in no time!!THATS SERVICE!! Yall got my business from now on!Edited, gotta love auto-correct

Service tech actually turned a chip into a 1 inch crack which ran across windshield a year later. So ruined my car and charged 75. Plus another 400. To replace what they broke. Never again repair chip.

I was there for a front windshield glass replacement due to a rock that split my window about 2 ft long crack. They will give me an estimate time due to my camera system about a 2-hour window. He was working very quickly and got them sooner than two hours I was very happy and excited due to the fact I was sitting there waiting for it it was not a drop off. They did a great job thank you very much

We went through State Farm to have our windshield replaced. I selected Safelite because I figured it was a large reputable company. Everything in the process worked great, up until the time for the technician to come onsite and replace the glass. The tech was to come to our home in Mentor to replace the glass. Prior to arrival the gentleman called and asked my wife to drive it into the shop since they were only 5 minutes away. He continued to attempt to persuade her to come into the shop because it would be easier for him. He finally came out and when he arrived may several additional comments about how it would have been better for her to come in. People just dont need to feel bad about utilizing a service you offer. Would you want Enterprise to call you and tell you to come in when their service includes pickup? Probably not. Anyways the tech did from best I can tell a good job of replacing the glass. Later that evening my wife and I got into our vehicle and both driver and passenger sides had mud on the floor where the tech was stepping up. He never cleaned up. Overall they did a great job replacing the glass but the technician was completely unprofessional. Business Card says Rob Terrasi Store Manager but the technician ID was 1863-561

I went for a full windshield replacement. The staff was really friendly. The replacement in my opinion was not worth the price of the service I received. They left my car dirty. Some of the previous adhesive was left on my car. The black urethane they had to scrape to get windshield out, they left all torn apart. The least they could have done was scraped the rest off. A piece to my remote start inside my car that was supposed to be mounted to my windshield fell off the next morning. I had to go back and have them reattach it.

Cracked my windshield while repairing a chip. A small chip repair ended up being a 3” crack so bad that I need the whole windshield replaced. Their warranty is a joke. They refund the repair money, putting it toward the cost of replacement. Their machine broke my windshield and now I’m stuck paying for a whole new windshield.

Terrible service, had fixed in Findlay they left dirt in hole. Stopped to ask about warranty they were rude, said live with it or schedule a replacement, your choice .So I scheduled a replacement, after waiting 6 hours for tech, he showed up with nothing, nothing to fix windshield.Now we wait again for another service call.I would never recommend this company!!They just dont care.

Only time I have ever had a repair job fail on a chip window. Their warranty only reimburses you the money when their repair fails. Advertising is misleading, sounds like they would replace window if their work fails but you have to file another claim with detutable. Job looked bad right away but was my understanding that window would be replaced if work failed.

Did online appointment. When asked about damage, their is an option that if not sure if can be repaired or need replaced to send pictures and someone will get back to you if can not repaired. Followed all instructions did not receive a phone call went to appointment as scheduled to be told could not be repaired had to be replaced. Lost hours at work and a wasted trip to their facility.

Just had my windshield replaced today. While I cant speak to the longevity of the repair, the online estimate, scheduling and ultimately the repair all went smoothly. The personnel were very friendly and I was in and out within 45 minutes.
