I really like this storage facility. It’s REALLY clean, I feel extremely safe and they have a carts to tease you things into the storage area

This is the second time Ive rented space here. Easy in and out, clean space, great staff.

Unit manager was great, but I had my items in a conditioned space and mold grew on several of them.I was told (area manager) that I must have brought them in when its was raining. totally untrue it was a sunny day. spoke to several corporate managers that stated that it wasnt their concern and that mold isnt covered by their insurance. it was brought to my attention that it is clearly stated in their contract that they are not responsible for mold in there climate controlled environment. ( item 27 contract). let me state that I have used this facility prior with no issue. (older building). So bottom line is your items may or may not grow mold here but mine definitely did. I lost a 4 year old leather couch and a micro fiber recliner due to this. was able to clean all wooden items.

Nice customer service at the call center. The officer manager is horrible to work with. When starting my contract the office manager was never at the office in the morning. I called the call center they told me he was probably at the bank. He should be in the office when the office hours say you are open, but never was. Temperature control facility was nice, but they are not 24 hours. The gate locked at 10pm. It was annoying when we needed something later at night. Started my contract out at $119 an month after 2 or 3 months they jacked my price up to $137 dollars. Once I finally got all my stuff out of the unit I got it out the same day that they charged my account. I didnt thoughteven ask for a refund all I asked for was a prorated amount. maybe I would be prorated amount. Nope I was charged a whole month. I called the call center they sent me to the horrible office manager of course he would not do anything for me. Dont use this place. There are plenty of other option in the Mentor Area.

Easy in/out. Ample room with inside, climate controlled units. I would give them 5 stars if the office hours and access hours were more accommodating to odd hours of the day or weekend. Otherwise, never have had any concerns or issues. Office staff is friendly and courteous

Very clean and dry storage units, from indoors to large outdoor units. Billing is accurate and timely. Last invoice was completed in two days from final move out of unit. Friendly customer service, secure facility, and variety of units. Always able to gain access to property and easy exit even with a pickup truck and trailer.

Casey is great to work with! He practiced safety for Covid-19 and he is very knowledgeable. Clean grounds and facility.

I thought i made a good decision by renting the climate controlled unit to protect my furniture. However, when we moved everything out i had to take most of the furniture to the dump because it was covered with mold. It obviously isnt controlled well enough. Read your contract thoroughly. They wont mention it directly to you, but there is a clause that they are not responsible for any moisture getting in and what it does to your property.

We needed to find a storage unit when it was determined that a family member was entering hospice care in a nursing home. SecurCare in Mentor was a great location, easily accessible to my house and the apartment we were clearing out. The unit was clean, the premises was secure and I was always met with a smile and great customer service from Casey Lilac. I would highly recommend this location for anyone in the Mentor area looking for a storage unit. This took a lot of anxiety out of our already stress-filled situation. Thank You!

The storage facility is very clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. I even got a call one day that my lock wasnt latched (Id forgotten to do that)! But this all comes at a higher cost than I thought Id be paying. I rented my storage unit because of the competitive price...under $100. In the past two years the rate has been raised four times. I am now paying $40 more each month than I started out paying.If this is the trend, then another price hike is due soon. Im currently in the process of turning a spare room into a storage room to eliminate this unnecessary drain on my budget.Just be aware that the entry level price is not fixed or guaranteed, so adjust your budget accordingly if you must use this facility.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. When my lock froze this winter, Bob came out immediately to thaw it out and lubricate it for me. Ive rented several types of different storage units here over the years and they are always clean and well maintained.

Bob T. was absolutely fantastic. Hes is professional, friendly, and helpful. This is our 4th year with these folks and they have always treated us very well. Great team there. Great service. Great facility.Thank you!

Clean, warm and good service. They do scam you into buying their proprietary lock and there is a one time fee that negates any discount, so there is a car sales mentality that you have to deal with, but the facility and service was 5 star.

Very well maintained facilities. The employees are extremely helpful and professional. For the location I find the prices are reasonable as well.

BEWARE!!! Avoid this place! The will change your contract after 2-3 months raising your rate by a lot. Also avoid contact with you about any billing issue until the late few goes into effect. Can’t wait to have a free day to move my stuff out!

As the manager of the facility, Bob was wonderful to work with and pleasantly happy to help me in my time of need. The people I dealt with were pleasant and helpful and the storage space was clean and dry. This is a well-run facility and the management should be commended. I would definitely use this space again.

They gave my first month at half off the regular monthly price which was helpful since I was strapped for cash. I dont like that they have a dumpster that us paying folks cant use, when your moving boxes sometimes you would like to pitch some unneeded things but they lock it up??

Went to this facility because it was extremely clean and the customer service was above and beyond. Very pleased with the units and feel that my mind can be put at ease knowing my storage is safe and secure. Thankyou Bob for all your help and great service.

They place bait bags for mice in the units. Well we found a dead mouse in a bag of our clothes. The bait bag was ripped open and stained one of our chairs. Called and complained and the guy on the phone did not even care. Poor customer service if you ask me.

A bit disappointed, they “forced” me to buy insurance (~$10 a month) on my property because I “didn’t have a copy of my home owner’s insurance policy with me. Claimed he couldn’t even take my application without it.I signed up for auto payment from my debit card. Payment was due on the 2nd of the month. Received a text from them on the 8th saying my payment was overdue. Apparently my debit card expired and they didn’t have my new information. So, lets see, due date is the 2nd, late fee applies after 5 days and they inform me 6 days later that my card expired, how convenient for their late fee policy.They should just raise their rates and quit with the deceit, their customers would be happier.On the plus side their facility is clean.

Bob and Lisa have been fantastic since I open my account here it Extra Space Storage. I definitely would recommend this to anybody who needs more storage area in their life.
