It really bothers me to even put such a low rating. I just have to say the staff here was super professional and efficient. The downside is the products in general. I got two scoops today of the Mango and fresa. It was watered down and didnt taste good whatsoever. I had to throw it away. My daughter got the Ferrero Rocher ice cream. It wasnt even firm it looked like it was had melted at one point. I was super disappointed going here. If I ever decide to go back I hope I will have a better experience.

OK this is a new Mexican ice cream and fruit shop. 4 stars due to prices. They are expensive. But the ice cream and such is outstanding. So creamy and great flavors. Love the fruit dishes.

Overall the the ice-cream and food is good the place also has a welcoming appearance. The employees on the other hand some appear like they dont want to be there and have a rude tone of voice towards the customers.

We actually walked in right as they were closing. Surprisingly they had no issue helping us they were polite, friendly and helped us exactly the same way they would if they were not about to close. We were not rushed in and out all of the staff treated us extremely well. The ice cream is exceptional and the horchata was amazing. Most definitely will be back. They provided great product and customer service. Finding both in the same place is rare lately !!!!

The fresas con crema were WHOLE strawberries, they were not cut in slices which made them hard eat. Also there wasn’t that much crema on them. Disappointed

Wife wasnt too impressed on portions a week earlier but we went back and this girl was great, I wish I wouldve got hrr name, she saved their business.

Their food is real good but the only thing I have a problem with is the service is slow regardless of the time of day and there is nobody in change of managing the rules are followed in regards to covid. They have a sign on the entrance saying only 10 customers inside the store due to covid restrictions but nobody follows the rule, also other customers easily jump the line. They should have an employee overseeing those issues

Got a milkshake for $9. Would’ve been worth it if it had some syrup or sprinkles and a cherry on the top like I’ve had at other michoacana locations. The staff still seems to be learning how to make things as well maybe over time it’ll get better. Also the milkshake flavor was supposed to be dulce de leche and since they add milk all it tastes like is like milk. So paid 9$ for frozen milk. :)

I bought a couple of agua frescas and a jugo and they were delicious! The employees are also super helpful and nice. I really like the look of the place. I would enjoy coming here once things open up again after the pandemic.

I decided to visit the establishment on its second day of business, walking in you were able to see the wide array of food items for sale but no prices, strange right? Almost as if they want to hide that from you until you check out so that they can get more money from customers at the end. Initially, I didn’t think much of it and went ahead and ordered a single scoop of what I presumed to be “ferrero rocher” ice cream, but alas, to my surprise it was nothing more than chocolate ice cream with chocolate wafers. No “ferrero rocher” to be found in it. If I’m going to pay for something with the name “ferrero rocher” then I should expect that in my product, not a poor imitation of it. Lastly, when it was my turn to check out the one scoop of ice cream cost 2 bucks and some change, but because my order was less than 10.00$ (I’m assuming before tax) AND I was paying with card they have to charge me a 50 cent fee for using a card as payment. No where in the establishment is this disclosed and I feel somewhat scammed. Some pointers for the business...add your prices to the menu, and if you’re going to charge a ridiculous fee (especially in a pandemic where cash transactions are discouraged) then you better make your “valued” customers aware of it. Very disappointed for it being my first and likely last experience with La Michoacana. Your money is better spent on the friendly street vendors that sell paletas, fruit, and traditional Mexican treats in the Merced area. Thank you.
