Ive had incredibly inconsistent experiences ordering from Brewforia. Last year, one order placed, delivered perfectly. This year, two orders placed in early December. One shipped on time but with no gift information, so it was only luck the recipient figured out it was from me. The second HAS YET TO SHIP, though I have a UPS tracking number.Multiple emails have gone unanswered. Their twitter account is apparently unmanned. Multiple phone calls yielded one person who seemed to have answered by accident. She took my number last week and promised to have the correct person get back to me. I continue to wait. Soon Ill have no choice but to report this as fraud to my credit card and hope they credit me back. Incredibly disappointing.
If you like great beer, you have to stop by. They have many taps with average price per pint ~$3.25, plus walls of bottled beer you can open and drink while youre there.The pizzas are made in house and are very good. However; they are unique, so dont expect to see the usual.Did I mention they have LOTS of great beers?!
Im STILL waiting for the beer I ordered for my dad at Christmas. Like others, my credit card was charged for the order but I have not received a thing. Ive called and emailed, but have yet to get any response. My next step will be contacting my credit card company. Please do not make the same mistake I did and order from this company.
I went in to get a list of dark stouts and porters. Most of which where out if stock, not distributed to Idaho, or ordered and on their way. To top it off the gift card system was not working. The manger said, just come back when the gift card system is back online. She was still insisted I go even after I explained I would not be back till after the 2014 Fiesta bowl. Also customer service with a bad situation. I highly recommend these guys for their wide selection willing to treat customers as such a high priority.
Having terrible experience with shipping beer. Placed order on 12/10/14, received order confirmation and shipping confirmation on 12/16/14 complete with UPS tracking number. Was charged by my credit card company on 12/10/14. As of 1/12/15 the order still has not shipped despite multiple calls and emails. Likely will have to dispute charges and get a refund via my credit card company due to their lack of response. Amazing to me that they could screw up such a simple process. Frankly, they are lying to me when they say UPS is picking up tomorrow. Something very strange going on here, so they are not a trustworthy retailer for beer shipments, at least.
A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT ordering beer to be shipped. I had a few questions and submitted them via their webpage contact us interface AND left several messages and no one there bothered to respond. I called at least a dozen times and no one answers the phones. If they arent interested in shipping beer then why do they advertise it?
I would never recommend this site to anyone.I ordered beer 12/10/214 for a Christmas present and after two weeks of it never sending I called constantly and finally spoke with the manager until they sent me a UPS tracking number. After the number was created and sent to my email, UPS never received the merchandise. I called back the Monday before Christmas and after threatening to cancel my order, the manager spoke with me and said she would have to the merchandise out the door that evening. Unfortunately UPS damaged the goods and it was automatically sent back to Brewforia. I called the manager 01/06/2015 and told her she that the UPS tracking stated they were returning the merchandise and asked what she was going to do for me at this point. She stated she would contact UPS and call me back. She never called me back. Brewforia signed for the merchandise 01/12/2015. I called numerous times after the merchandise was delivered and did not get a response. The phone just rings and the voicemail is full.I finally called my bank and filed for the dispute on the charge.
This place is awesome. Plenty of beer to choose from and the guys are very friendly and helpful, even when you have 2 boxes full of bottles to take to your car.
Never been to the actual store so cant speak to that. But their shipping customer service is pitiful. Attempted to order a case of our favorite Deschutes, which we sadly cant get out in VA yet. Got a confirmation, tracking number, and charge to my credit card. But it never actually shipped. I had an email exchange which lasted a few weeks (they took forever to respond) and led to me canceling my order and asking for a refund. Was told they were waiting for a call back from credit card company, blah, blah, blah. And after those first few weeks they are unreachable by email or phone. I should have disputed it with my bank sooner (my fault for not knowing it had to occur within 60 days of purchase). So now I am out $100 and a case of beer.
Unfortunately I did not get the chance to actually visit Brewforia in Meridian, but I did order a gift online (the website miraculously doesnt exist anymore) for my brother. Just like others have written, I never received a response with a tracking number, my brother never received a shipment, but my card was charged. I figured things might be a little slow because of the Holiday so I gave it about 3 weeks...but still nothing. I called and emailed Customer Service several times and no response. I even emailed Tatiana Martz Brewforia Queen to ask what was going on. Even if it was a fraudulent website, a response explaining so would have been nice. It seems as if it was just a ploy to steal money from others so that they could earn some lost revenue from the location that just closed down in Eagle, ID. I disputed the charge with my Credit Union and filed a complaint with the BBB. Honest business is the best business.
Horrible customer service. I placed an order with Brewforia on May 18th and my card was charged on the 21st with no tracking number sent to me. On the 23rd I emailed them to find out why my card was charged but I had yet to receive a tracking number and received no response. The next day I received a tracking number and I figured all was well.When I received the box from the looks I was scared there was going to be damage but luckily there was not. The fact nothing was broken was nothing short of a miracle. However, if the shipping practice they used for my box is the norm I guarantee there is to be issues for others. The box had about 3 feet of shipping paper folded in the bottom and then the Cans and Bottles just sitting on top of that and not wrapped. Im truly amazed everything made it ok. Kudos to UPS I guess.Heres where the real fun starts I order 4 items and only received 3 of those items. There were also 3 extra cans in the box but I assumed these were clearly extras as this is normal for beer ship places to do. So I give them a call to inquire about my missing bottle and immediately the lady states theyll just issue me a refund and doesnt offer to ship me the missing bottle or anything. She says Ill receive an email shortly from them with the details of my refund. No big deal just a little confused why they didnt offer to ship the bottle.I had not received and email and saw no pending payments on my account so I decided to give them a call again. This time the same lady tells me they called me on the 20th(Sunday) and spoke to me and I agreed to exchange the missing bottle for the 3 cans. Really you called me on a Sunday??? I think I would remember this conversation oh and I think I would have a record of this call in my call logs too? She repeatedly says well I dont know what to tell you the customer agreed to this. She finally agreed to issue refund again however, Im not holding my breath.It is now over a week since I was told Id receive a refund and Ive seen nothing yet.Based on their packing practice and lack of customer service I would advise to not do business with Brewforia.
Went to Brewforia for the first time last night for a going away party for a friend. I like the concept of a restaurant specializing in beer, however I would never visit Brewforia again. The service was HORRIBLE, flat-out the worst service I have ever received. The hostess and 2 different servers were all rude, unhelpful, & even offensive. The menu was limited, and they were out of 4 of the things that we wanted to order. First and last time customer.
Online order was processed, and then the site disappeared. Card was charged, but no product. Called their store directly, but no one ever called back.
I ordered a dozen beers online. It never got sent. I emailed twice and called/left message twice. Never heard back... I got a hold of someone the third time Ive called....hopefully they will actually get back to me.
Do NOT use this website to order beer! Like the others, I placed the order on line and was sent an email confirmation with order# and UPS tracking# and of course my credit card was charged. But it never shipped. There is never an answer at the 888 phone#, and they dont respond to any emails at customer service. Finally gave up and disputed it with credit card to cancel and get refund. Absolutely a complete waste of time!!
Ordered a case of beer from there for my father and have yet to receive it, paid over $100 for it and Tatiana avoids phone calls and has lied about the staus of the order. i have filed complaints with the better business bureau and have conatcted the brewery of the beer i purchased as well. She is a lousy business owner and hope her business fails, she is a thief and a liar
Microbrew drinkers paradise. And the food is delicious!
A great selection, fun menu, decent location. A bit small so it can get crowded but I have always been able to find a seat.
Excellent selection of beers but overpriced.
