Very friendly employees. Exellent hospitality. Clean shop environment. I was happy to service their machine. Quality control is top notch. Operators are well trained and have good knowledge of products.
Always a pleasure they make you feel like youre part of the family.
They use a simple annealing process to take 1/2 of hardness point out of the same carbide everybody else uses. That makes it slightly softer and less likely to chip, but weaker. Many of their antiquated machines cannot make tools to their own specs. The quality system they use has major holes in it, the QA techs are expected to manage the inspections in a unreasonable amount of time, so the techs will skip some of the more difficult checks. Do not buy, if you are buying do the math and check your change out times, you will find other suppliers will outlast micro100 tools all day long. Our company did a six sigma project looking at Micro100 and three other suppliers, Micro100 finished last in durability and dimensional accuracy. Sad Micro100 at one time was a great company no longer is that true.
This site is too difficult. A person has to jump through too many hoops in order to find out where theyre going
Great staff
