Great bagels. Great spreads and salads. They also have great gluten free bagels. Would recommend.

Best Bagels in Merrick. Friendly staff and quick service. The bagels are always tasty and never miss the mark. My family has been coming here for years. The parking lot can be a pain in the neck but there is ample space just not directly outside. Still worth the visit every time!

Bagels are fresh, egg salad was good, the blueberry cream cheese was good, wish they had strawberry cream cheese but im okay with the change of my routine for once. Just hope next time there’s strawberry cream cheese.(if theres a next time) One thing that I did notice is they care about their regulars more than new customers, I had to ask who would be able to assist me in a bit of a louder request lol, hope the owners take a look at the reviews and see demographically which ppl are having the worst experience in this establishment. Oh and no bacon? First time here and I wouldn’t had asked if they had a sign out stating kosher.

We catered in a couple of brunch platters and a fruit platter for a High School graduation party. absolute best bagels and food in Merrick and beyond.

I ordered an everything bagel with lox, tomato, red onion, and cream cheese. It was so fresh, tasty, and delicious! When Im in Merrick, I have to go there! The line was long but theservice was quick and efficient! I love Bagel Plaza!

The best customer service and friendly atmosphere. Jana and Sam with the rest of the staff make you feel welcomed and special. Food is excellent. Recommend this place to everyone, worth the drive if yr not nearby! Thank you for all you do.

Friendly service!

I walked in the door and waited on line with my two-year-old daughter. They were taking care of the person in front of me and another customer walked in behind me. They started taking care of the customer behind me and when I asked why I was not attended to I was told to wait one minute. The guy behind the counter asked one of his colleagues to assist me and she answered with “I can’t I’m busy”. No apologies. I just walked out.

As me being an executive chef, I love the bagels but the salads can use more seasonings and flavor. I had the couscous and chickpeas salad. Definitely needed some flavoring. But not bad!

I frequently go into this store so my rating is merely off the fact that there are a few people in there that actually help you. More than once I have walked in gone straight to the register and stood for almost 5 mins waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Their items are not cheap I mean a bagel with butter is 3 dollars so you would think that would come with a level of quality service. I most recently went in today 3/20/19 and concluded that this place will no longer see my money ever again. I know this may go on def ears but there is a way to treat people and bagel plaza fails at quality customer service. Sorry but you lost a regular.

The absolute best bagels and smoked fish in Long island. They are open on Saturdays except on observant holidays. A gem.

Bagel Plaza is my favorite bagel shop in the area. The bagels are made so fresh and if you get there early they’ll tell you which ones are still warm. They will slice the lox really thin when you purchase it on a bagel or by the pound. Service is always good and they get to know their customers.

Food is always very good and the people behind the counter are very nice and helpful.

I asked if they had bacon and she gave me a nasty face saying they were a kosher establishment when clearly there’s no sign saying that they are. I got a bagel with egg but I said no ketchup and she put ketchup on it of course and some wacky powder. Never going here again.

Love their bagels, light vegetable tuna,and egg salad. Coffee is delicious! Vegetable soup is Great! And their Challah bread is Amazing. Always tempted by their black and white cookies,chocolate horns and muffins. Parking sometimes is an issue, Trader Joes is next door, and sometimes I just make my weekly stop there too. Service is also good,you wont be dissapointed!

This place deserves 10 stars. Believe me when I say I’m a food expert and they know how to make bagel and Lox. Thank you.

I have been eating Bagel Plaza bagels since they opened. Ive eaten bagels from many different shops, but few are as good as Bagel Plazas. When I bring them anywhere, people always ask me where I got them.

Whenever I visit NY I make a pit stop for breakfast. Amazingly authentic and appeasing to my palette, just a plain toasted flagel with butter and a half pound of assorted rugelach sparks nostalgia.
