We built a home with Vertical Works from Milwaukee, WI (rebasing in Texas by the way) and had Semco doors and windows installed. Immediately, the doors began to leak, water ruining our new white oak floors. Parts of the doors are falling off and the craftsmanship is terrible. Rough edges, flimsy doors. They feel like a piece of tin. We have been trying to get our home safe and secure for the past year + and Semco and Vertical Works has been zero help. I contacted the president of Semco today and was shoved to a warranty guy who told me he would contact me after he reviewed our file. After dozens and dozens of emails, phone calls, etc, this company isn’t even aware of our situation. They continue to suppress it and hope it goes away. Do not, DO NOT, put this company’s doors or windows in your home. We have a baby coming in the fall and I am sick to my stomach knowing this issue most likely will not be resolved and another Wisconsin winter with blowing snow in our new home will occur. If this company steps up and refunds our money then I will be happy to remove my review, but for now all people need to know this company is a fraud. Stay away.
Do not purchase from this company! Beautiful but defective doors. Even though we have a 10 year warranty signed by the national sales director, and filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau, the company refuses to honor their warranty.
STAY AWAY from Semco Windows. Our company installed (45) Semco storm windows for a client 6 months ago and they are already experiencing broken glass. The Semco Rep told us they will not provide us with any replacement sashes nor will they give us replacements at cost. We will never buy another product from them and we suggest you do the same.
I apply and after 3 days they called me for job interviews .. everything went well and finally I work for second windows and doors. All the people are friendly and caring ..
I have Lane, a great saleswoman, helping us poor souls in TN. She based out of NC, I believe.
Dont hate the place. Four expensive yet defective windows.
Not a great place to work for in my opinion. Some employees spend 20+ yrs working for Semco business & personally for owners then end up canned because of a mistake getting dui. Not their fault we lost our dteam home.
Taking care of my door issues.
The best Windows in the world!!!
Keeps me working
