The sales team was great when I purchased from Art Hill, which is why I came back when my vehicle needed service beyond normal maintenance. Theyve had my car for 4+ days now and havent found any issue. The last time I got an update from anybody was 3 days ago. It was in a service bay with a technician assigned to it. I was told, Since its in the bay right now, you should hear something back today. I never heard back. Called the next day and said if your guys havent found anything Id like to just pick up the vehicle. Never heard anything back. Called yesterday and told the representative again that if nothing has been found, Im coming to pick up the vehicle. Went to work and still never heard back. Called and left a message after hours when I got off work and still havent heard a word. They have a text messaging service when you check in your vehicle, I even sent a text there and still no communication. My vehicle had a connection issue that was causing the airbag light to be displayed. In the middle of all this, I had to leave a message 3 days ago when I first expressed that I wanted my car back. I said take care of the airbag light and Ill just come pick it up when its ready. Well see if they ever get back to me, and if the airbag sensor was even taken care of because I cant get answers from anybody.
The sales team at Art Hill went above and beyond to get me in a vehicle that I love and within my budget. After stopping in just to test drive some cars one day, I sat down with John and talked about what I was looking for, and what my budget looked like. The vehicle I was originally looking at just didn’t fit the numbers I was hoping for. The GM, Steve, and John continued to crunch numbers and look at options after I left, and came up with a vehicle that was a perfect fit. They got me approved for an incredible financing deal, and put me in a brand new vehicle that perfectly fit my needs, and still had the bells and whistles I was looking for. I was beyond impressed that they took the time out of their day, after I left, without being asked to do this, to help me find what I need. They were so friendly and helpful while I was there, they actually made the boring hours of looking at numbers and filling out paperwork kind of fun. I went there from an hour away for the availability that I saw online, but we’ll definitely be back for all of our future purchases/trade ins, for their out of their world customer service. I highly recommend!
The only reason that Im giving it two Stars right now, is because we just dropped our car off there Thursday. Talked to Juan, he was our service advisor, Absolutely Amazing Guy super nice knows his job and how to treat people. Pretty good guy. I work for an alternate dealership, and I would hire that guy in a minute! Great man to have on your side, so we will see Wednesday how everything went with our car, then I will re score them, and it will probably go five star. On the other hand its a definite seven star for Juan!!!!!
The service received for my 2017 Explorer was great; the people were professional in their handling of my appointment. At arrival, greeted by service rep who instructed me to stay with vehicle until ready to process your appointment. At processing, everything went according to details... ie: repair scope and new tires on reserve with parts department that had already had them pre-ordered. Waited for the vehicle and for the scope of appointment, not a long wait (2.5 hours). Done and out by 10am, great.Thanks and see you all next time.
I always get my oil changes and maintenance done at Art Hill. They are very friendly, thorough, and fast. I especially like the shuttle service they offer.
Females beware!! They think we are dumb. Was told ALL vehicles go through a thorough inspection. Asked about extended warranty and was told to go online and purchase as it is much cheaper. When asked for the service record it was only THEN that I was told this vehicle did not pass inspection. Guess they didnt expect me to be that smart and I would just take their word that it had passed inspection. Was told what a great vehicle this was and it would go many many more miles. Research. Ask questions. Get concrete answers.

I went in on Saturday about 9am was there until 2pm just for a oil change.they had my car hidden and was doing other things decide to do my car about 1 pm thats when i seen the guy doing my car i was watching didnt see this guy do anything to my car.went after to other place to get my car check found out my air filter wasnt change no windshield washer and no break fluid i was so upset told sonny morrison about what was going on he went to the guy who was looking at my car and they both were laughing.they marked a paper saying things were done and their werent.worse experience i had there couldnt believe the workers were so rude u say hi and they just look at you. The front people who take care of you are good guys.but when its the service department they are awful very rude to their customers.
The salesman Boris is very thorough and answers any and all questions. He is never anxious and let’s you take you time in purchase decision, giving you all the time you need in making it.
Art Hill has always been very accommodating and helpful whenever I need. Oil changes are always a breeze and they get me in when I need. I leased my vehicle through them and bought it at the end of my lease because I enjoyed not only the vehicle but working with them when the car needed serviced. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family!

Steve Bukovich, GM and Sonny in The Service Department went the extra mile and got it fixed same day. What made this extra special was it ended up being a recall and was no charge. I can’t thank them enough for a job well done.

I drove over 2+ hrs to buy a truck, was under the understanding that they had good customer service there and cared about people. But after spending 30k on a truck realize they dont care after they get your money. On the way home found defects,if they would have still been open would have drove back and got my check and drove my jeep home. Went back and told my concerns to Tony the head guy at the place at least thats what he told me. He said he could not promise they would fix it, so I said give me my money back and my jeep and Ill leave. He said things dont work that way around here. Could go into more detail but just really disappointed with the customer service or lack there of.
I was very unsure if I would ever buy another Vehicle from Art Hill Ford, But I stopped in to just look. And the sales men John Svejda was so nice and going out of his way to make me happy that I bought the 2021 F150 lariat. Just love the truck.

A much better experience. The service tech appeared to be relaxed and less stressed and focused on my concerns of the vehicle. Service was quick and my vehicle was immediately returned. The only problem was 1of the issues was addressed but it still doesn’t work. I will revisit the issue on my next visit.

Brought my 2006 Ford F150 in for an oil change and for no extra money they check the rest of your vehicle fluids, and brakes, and rotate your tires. Dealer service centers are typically high priced, but at Art Hill Ford (not sure of other Ford dealers) they are very competitive and go the extra mile for their customers. I would recommend Art Hill Ford to everyone, even if you dont own a Ford. The Manager there, Steve Bukvich is a very friendly, understanding, helpful person who is genuinely concerned about your concerns and always finds a solution, not just a band-aid like most places.
Looked for a Fusion at 2 dealers that I wanted for my son. They didn’t have any in stock. Went to Art Hill and John pulled some strings and made a dealer trade to get one for me. He also made deal quick and simple so that I could take advantage of month end rebates and savings. Made the process smooth and my most enjoyable experience. Went in to schedule service on a Saturday. Had taken pictures and explained the problem. It was 2 pm and they scheduled me for Monday 7:45 am. Was out in an hour job done. Went in again to the parts department to ask where my oil plug was. Couldn’t find it in the manual or my exact model online. They were very courteous and helped me.

Service department is slow, rude, both not available and doesnt return calls. Go to another dealership or take it to a mechanic that has to base their reputation on word of mouth and reviews.
My experience was wonderful. The technician was prompt, informative and very professional. He immediately came to my car, greeted me and was well aware of my appointment. I was elated that he already knew my name and had my order up. That is the kind of service that I have come to love at Art Hill Ford. This takes me back when Dan was there and Wendy Masters and some of the older people that made you feel proud. Went in for a tune up on my 2003 F-150 XLT..Tech had me in and out in no time..but Sonny was the greatest made my visit well worth my time at Art Hill..keep up the good work Sonny.
The overall sale of the vehicle was great and I do love my car. But the next day after I purchased it the headlight went out so I messaged the dealer to see if they could change it since I had just gotten it the day before and there was now already something I needed to fix on it. I didn’t hear back from them about it and I’m still currently waiting on paperwork to get my car plated. The people were really friendly I just wish there was a bit more communication.

A year ago i came in to check out a used Ford Ranger. The sales person was pushy. Did not like the Ranger and the salesman told me i was wrong on everything i pointed out about the truck. Sorry, but i have the same year Ranger at home and i know the truck. A couple days later he calls my house, gets snotty with me when i tell him i am no longer interested in the truck.Fast forward to 5/19/ 21.. Stopped to check out another Ranger sitting on the lot. Was very interested in it. Spent 45 minutes there and no one would even talk with me. I am done trying to do business with this company.

My experience with the service team has been greatly unacceptable and I am disgusted with the level of professionalism I have experienced within the last week. The first day my car was serviced, no one told me the repair would take an entire day, after waiting 5 hours they offered to have someone take me home and then decided to give me my car. My car has cream interior and was returned to me with the driver’s panel filthy. I requested a call from the service manager, no one called me back. When I returned to have my vehicle repair complete, on my way home my car began to make a loud noise so loud I thought my muffler was dragging on the ground but it wasn’t. I called back, spoke with Alan and requested a service manager to call me back and no one called me back. I called again and requested for a manager to call me same day and no one called me back. I am so frustrated with Art Hill Ford because I have to return once again to have my car fixed for the 3rd time and I AM SICK OF IT!!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!
I was greeted in a timely manner, treated with respect, and had a very pleasant car buying experience from in my opinion the best salesman in your establishment. He is very knowledgeable about the products and cares about his relationships with his customers.
They wont sell me a truck unless I bought their in house warranty so they can make money. Buyers beware they dont tell you this until you get approved and they ran my credit several times without my consent. If they have your social they will run it 10 times without even telling you. Stay away.. trust.

I bought a used vehicle from here. George from sales was very friendly and not pushy. They didnt have bogus used fees like other dealers. The sale was quick and laid back. I would come back in the future to buy another vehicle.

NO...do not go to this service department. Staff turnover too great and this has been going on pre pandemic. Seems to relate to poor management and overall poor opinion of new ownership. Lack of communication in service department causes increased wait time for work to be done. Service manager is worthless and has no sense of what customer service is about. Ford Corporate needs to be made aware of these issues and I will do so. Never again a Ford in my future.

It was a Saturday and I believe Rosa was by herself maybe. I brought my 2 vehicles in for a oil change(actually I think that was the week before)and front brakes. All things got completed in order and on time by tech who performed service and Rosa who got it initiated. Tech was even nice enough to answer our additional questions after he finished with my sons car. I Likes that....you cant beat good old fashioned customer service 👌

Bought a used car, transmission seems to be jumpy. Called to have someone call me back and discuss it. Going on 4 days since I called and not one person has called me back. Stay away from them. Lots of other car dealerships out there. Not 1 person has called to see how things are going. They just sold the car and that’s it. Thoroughly disgusted. Art hill Mazda of Merrillville, avoid it.

I have taken my truck else where, but Art Hills technicians are by far the best in the area. The Service Manager went above and beyond what was needed and personally called Ford to resolve a minor issue.
20 days out for appointment with courtesy shuttle! Went to Curry in Valpo in 2 days and got back car same day complete with courtesy transportation.
Took My Ford F250 Powerstroke in a couple months ago for an oil leak staff was polite and professional had it back to me with in a matter of days. They didn’t try to give me a run around at all about my extended warranty not covering it. Like Webb Ford did to me for a separate issue a while back. They had me back on the road with in no time and so far hasn’t leaked a drop of oil since! Keep up the good work!!

I had the best experience at Art Hill Ford. I went to go get a oil change on my 2019 Ford Fusion but ended up leaving with a 2021 Ford Bronco. Steve and Dylan were so helpful.
John ( Ford and Lincoln) greeted us when no one else wanted to. He told us that they saw me and my husband walking from Mazda, I guess that meant we weren’t interested in buying an expensive car? He was so friendly, not abrasive and gave us space. He was full of knowledge but not cocky. I REALLY just wanted to look. We had no intention on buying a car that day. If we dealt with anyone else, we wouldn’t have. John was wonderful! He stayed after for us and never rushed. He gave us a lot of options for pricing and made us feel comfortable. He even checked in the next day! I must say, Quincy, on the Mazda side was also very pleasant. But, my husband and I wanted a Lincoln....and that’s what we got!
7k mark up on a gt? I can order online with Ford $1,000 discount. Bad service they scratched my rims on my gt. Then they deny it with yellow over my sidewalls from the lift, never again.

Made an appointment to have recall repairs done, and even verified that the part was in days prior to the appointment. Get there and they tell me its on back order. Which I dont believe for second. I wont be going back.
It’s interesting to see how a service department that opens at 8am on a Saturday functions when everyone that works there trickles in 5 minutes before.

I recently purchased a Continental through CarMax. I had some work done through CarMax but also a dent was placed in my door while the car was getting tires through CarMax. I decided to bring the car to Art Hill to have work done that is still covered under the CarMax warranty. I had the pleasure of working with Chase and now am a loyal customer to Art Hill. He did the leg work to contact CarMax while updating me about the status of the work on my car. The work done was quality work with constant communication. Due to how I was treated as a new customer to their service department. Our next family car is likely to be an Aviator and we will definitely start our search at Art Hill thanks to Chase and the rest of the service team.
I have been coming here for the last 4 years for service since we moved to NWI. Everyone in service has always taken care of me and my car. This week I traded my truck for a new one and both Steve the sales consultant and Steve the GM where amazing to work with. I would definitely recommend buying a car from these guys. Thanks again!
I can not believe what this place did. They plain out lied. Gave information and after towing vehicle to them. Then charged me for a lot of things they said nothing about .a diagnostic its 150 for an hours worth of work that was never said in the beginning. Diagnosis was plain out 150 dollars. its not my fault that they could not figure it out. Isnt this their job to know ford vehicles. Gave explicit directions on what we did that was not on the report or bill infact they replaced a part and tried charging me . So watch out!!!!! In the end the labor charge was $650 so what was 150 cost me $650 .So watch them get it in writing this is not a Ford you can trust
The salesperson Dennis Roak went above and beyond my expectations in finding the truck with the options I was looking for from another dealer out of state, and he was able to bring the truck back. He was able to answer all my questions about the truck and various options, including setting my phone to the trucks technology. Art Hill Ford should be fortunate to have such an outstanding employee as Dennis.
The Manager (Steven Bukvich) made my visit more comfortable and relaxed. He took the time to listen to me answer all my questions even though he was very busy. All automobile dealerships should have someone like him to make car buying more comfortable and details more understandable.
Best place ever to buy a car. This is the 4th car I have bought from Steve and he understands me. He knows I dont want to play games with prices just give me your best price and if i dont like it Ill walk. Have never walked out yet. Steve is top notch
They had the used car I wanted, didnt go there for the dealership. They said the previous owner was supposed to bring the second key. 2 weeks later I called and it wasnt returned. Got email asking general how it was going and I replied asking wheres the 2nd key (a $300 cost if I had to get), and they replied they would get it. A week later they said couldnt get answer from previous and they would put in $100 towards 2nd key. I tracked down the previous and got the key myself.

He makes sure he explains whats going on, I have never had to second guess him-everything is what he says it is, and he is so great at giving bad news Cars! It happens)! Ive been buying cars here for over 15 years. My father bought his fords from here and his father too. Under the new ownership things have slipped tremendously. They cant get the paperwork together ever and on time to you to get your plates. Excuse after excuse and a serious lack of professionalism. My salesman was great but this dealership has gone downhill by far. Ill be taking my sales to Currie in Valpo or even over the border to Illinois. Ive waited over 3 months already and they still cant figure it out. Single ply toilet paper is more reliable than this dealer. Safe yourself the trip and take your business elsewhere. Dont be fooled by bought reviews.
