Great experience! They were super nice!We realized as we drove off that they were closing for the day after our order.Never felt rushed.

Ice cream is good and seems to be in a nice clean shape. The only thing you must know before going is that the menu outside does not take orders on the drive thru. The menu is just a menu. You must drive to the window to place an order.

Always quick, delicious and great service. They dont take credit cards and never have, so grab some cash!

Not bad. Its $4.99 for a pork sandwich. If u are hungry. U have to buy 2 or 3. The combo comes with chips & coke. No diet or unsweet ice tea. They only take cash. Strange. They have ice cream though.

You dont find out its cash only until youre in the drive thru at the speaker, which doesnt work, by the way. So youre stuck in the drive thru if you dont have cash until the other people on front of you get their orders. Very inconvenient and unprofessional.

Dissatisfied..not only did not have most of the menu items,but the kids meals were not good at all. When I presented my grandkids gift card, they didnt take it...cash only. Wont go back there

Sign on the drive thru speaker says two things: speaker doesnt work and cash only so, if you dont know its cash only, youre basically stuck in the drive thru line for however long it takes them to make the orders for the people in front of you. Terrible.

First of all they scam us for a bizzard my dad gave them a 20 for a bizzard that was 5.34 the order was a small bizzard with cookie dough and rainbow sprinkles but when they gave us the change the only gave us back 9 dollars then my counted the change and first thing knew something was wrong so he asked them again saying I gave u 20 dollar bill right and the cashier said no u gave us 15 dollars which in fact we did not cause why would u give 15 dollars for a five dollars cream that was only 5 bucks so instead of paying for the right price we payed 11 dollars for so THANKS ALOT dq hopefully your workers can get free clas in math for week because they REALLY need it .

Wish their hours were more but theyre a great place to get a tasty treat. The workers are nice and it has an overall clean feel to it unlike some fast food restaurants.

Cash only stated once you get to the menu, after being stuck in line forever. No sign saying speakers were not in use either. Orders taken at the window. If its cash only, maybe state that somewhere visible so people can get out of line or avoid it all together. Waste of time.

Gross! No masks worn by staff during a pandemic. When asked, the staff said that their boss does not require it. Its the food service industry for goodness sakes! Makes me wonder what other hygiene/sanitation precautions the boss doesnt care about. Ill pass.

I am not usually one to write reviews (I think this is my very first one), however, I feel that the total lack of concern for public health during COVID-19 by this establishment warrant this review.My fiancée and I moved to the area recently and this was our first time coming to this Dairy Queen. It was a Sunday evening and pretty busy, but we did not mind the wait as we were just craving some frozen treats.We waited in the drive-thru line between 30 and 40 minutes. Once we were 3 cars from the serving window, someone came out to greet us and take our order. Shockingly, this individual was not wearing a mask even though we are in the middle of COVID-19. This concerned us, but they kept a relatively good distance so we continued on. To our dismay, the employees inside who were supposed to be handling our food also were not wearing masks either. At this point, we felt completely uncomfortable accepting food from this establishment.To top it all off, we were told at the window that they are cash only. I do not recall seeing any signage in the drive-thru area stating this, and being new to the area, how was I supposed to know any better? I refuse to carry cash during these pandemic times, but luckily for us, it all worked out as we did not want to be eating food handled by people unconcerned with the safety of their customers.

Great banana Sundae ( according to my 8 y/o, I had a hotdog, lets just say ..... I had one almost everyday since. Its drive thru or walk up as well as cash only and the cashier was very jovial.

Just FYI, this location is CASH ONLY. Many guests may not be prepared with cash on hand. I typically only have my CC.

The only location near my home and they are cash only. They do not accept cards period. Looks like Ill be going to the snow cone place in home depots parking lot across the street. They have ice cream, snow cones, and food. The boardwalk fries are to die for! Lol. And the greatest part, they accept cards all day long everyday. I refuse to carry cash.

We live here on the island don’t have pretty much our entire lives. You really want to Dairy Queen the other night so we drove all the way to the ATM to pull out cash and then backtracked all the way to Dairy Queen for ice cream. We pulled in the parking lot at 9:45. Google says that they do not close until 10 PM. When we pulled up the entire store was closed and the employees and their friends were sitting out front eating ice cream themselves. Very confusing for us. Also very frustrating seeing as we went out of our way to pull out cash for this specific restaurant because they also do not take card. Felt kind of strange that they closed early and hung out themselves without considering Any clientele at all.

Went here at noon on my motorcycle for lunch at work. Paid $9.48 for 2 hot dogs and A medium Blizzard. The buns were a little stale in the hot dogs tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. I was the only customer theres the 30 minutes I was here. They made me stand I could not sit anywhere even though I was the only person there. I could not take the food with me because I was on a motorcycle. I understand and respect social distancing but that just doesnt make any sense. I wont be back for multiple reasons.

Ive loved Dairy Queen since my teens .Mostly I dont usually get dessert at restaurants..I know where 2 DQs aren thats where I go to get my dessert..My choice changes but I still CRAVE my DQ!

I love this Dairy Queen’s quality, but a lot of the time the store closes half an hour early when people are still outside. Been there a lot of times just to see it’s closed before the scheduled time. Should at least change the time online. Was there at 8:30 and watched them turn the lights off with a guy standing at the window.

I ordered a hot dog with cheese and the cheese was shredded and not melted. Vanilla milkshake was awesome though.

The ice cream was great, but I hardly ever go here because they dont take debit/credit cards.

While I was waiting for my food, I observed the employees fixing the food with no mask and no gloves, laughing and playing around. One of them spilt ice cream on the floor and they all busted up laughing. They continuously kept glancing at me to see if I noticed them. I think this is very serious, especially with the Covid-19. I will never eat here again and I think that the Health Department should be notified.

I have been going to this Dairy Queen location for quite some time and a large amount of the negative the reviews I have read on here arent even valid and some are even misleading. No, this business does not accept any form of card payment (There is an ATM in the gas station across the street). No, they will not hand your blizzards out upside down. And no, they are not like any other ice cream location on the Island. Compared to any other place that serves ice cream in the area, this place is better by leaps and bounds. The employees offer excellent customer service and are more than happy to fix any mistakes that occur. Do not waste your time trying to enjoy ice cream from Toppers or McDonalds or Chick-Fil-A and go straight to Dairy Queen.

This Dairy Queen has been in Merritt Island as long as I can remember. Back when there were dirt roads everywhere. The customer service here is the best I have ever found. It is serviced mainly by younger people and their manners are the best! Who ever does the training is to be commended. It is very clean and who cares if they only take cash? If you want to be treated very well and have some great dairy queen ice cream.......this is the place!

This DQ is outside seating only. The area is kept clean. The employees were friendly and accommodating. Our order was prepared nicely. It is located close to a busy road.

The staff is friendly, we dont go often because its a cash only place, which we never carry cash. The menu has limited ice cream items and there is no speaker on the drive thru, when its busy they have someone going to cars for orders. Itd be awesome if you opened a chill and grill DQ the closest is in Orlando.

This is almost always an enjoyable place to visit. This DQ provides excellent service and a drive-up window. While we havent used the drive-up service the two walk-up windows are utilized well to serve costumers. I need to note however that they only accept cash and not credit or debit cards. Likewise, they dont honor the free coupons or the upside down ones. But they offer a variety of the new ice cream preparations that are delicious and larger than some other DQs. The seating is outdoors only, but the tables and chairs have umbrellas. Since this is FL, eating ice cream outside is a typical summer and winter activity!

Good, but, what happened to a small chocolate dipped vanilla cone...$3.09 OMG!!! Hard to believe how much times have changed.

Like the Merritt island location. They take cash only, the staff is very friendly and are able to suggest a treat for you. A small place with outside seating only under umbrellas. A local favorite. Note. They do not participate in the upside down free blizzards campaign.

Been going to this DQ since the 70s. Staff is always friendly, efficient and prompt with my order. Drive-thru is a nice option. Outdoor seating area is kept clean, and mosquitoes are not a problem. And last but not least, of course the ice cream is why we keep coming back!!

Its a little hard to get to. There isnt a place to sit inside. They dont have a speaker to order from, you drive right up to the window. They are fast, & Dairy Queen is always delish!

How can you not love Dairy Queen? Fun ice cream, fun outdoor seating, fun memories of my 1950s childhood. The vanilla cone (small, not medium or large) is still my favorite thing there. Do yourself a favor and go be a kid again for a few minutes!

What a sad excuse for a DQ. Wanting to share the awesome science behind a blizzard and a craving from my pregnant self to be relieved- no credit cards, no gift cards, no upside down specials- not the dq way. The customer service when telling my family and then the next couple (which she was celebrating her birthday and pregnant as well) was lackluster to say the least. The day I learn about stocks and shares- well easy choice not to invest in this selfish franchise. Time to find a new favorite ice cream franchise that isn’t so schemy. To refuse a pregnant woman’s gift card on her birthday. I felt so sorry for her.

Now THIS is what I call soft serve ice cream!
