We had a great experience with Spencer’s! Great customer service, plus quick, friendly, and efficient delivery and installation! We first attempted to buy a new appliance from a large national home improvement store, which was not able to successfully deliver the item. We tried the Spencer Outlet location, and ended up with an amazing deal! Highly recommend for appliance purchase.

Our side by side was obviously having trouble getting cold enough (freezer items thawing), and we wanted something similar to what we’d had: white, water in the door. They had two good models (Kenmore & Whirlpool) for a reasonable price, so in a matter of 20 minutes we’d bought it, and had it delivered two days later. It’s in good condition, and the family is living cold water and ice! Justin, the delivery guy was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful with installation. Thank you!

I am renting and we got a used fridge delivered from here. It was pretty hassle free. Spencers called a few days in advance to ask what day would work for the delivery. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and helpful with scheduling.On the day of the delivery, I got a text letting me know who my delivery driver was (Aaron) and when I could expect him. Aaron was awesome. He called in the morning to let me know he would be a little ahead of schedule due to a cancellation and gave me a different time windowWhen he got here, he was patient when I had to still empty the fridge (I wanted to have this done beforehand but work got in the way) and helped me reach some stuff that was on top of the fridge. He was funny and informative about how it was set up and to not change the temperature settings too quickly. Super friendly, if I could give Aaron himself a star rating he would get 5/5.My reason for rating the business 4/5 is that the fridge was a little bit grimy when we got it. Nothing crazy and no chunks of food or anything, but I would expect some type of sanitization process for a used fridge. Overall I had a good experience with this company.

I just learned this weekend that Spencers has a store close to me that sells refurbished appliances. I was looking for a washing machine for someone and did not need a brand new one. I was very happy to find a whirlpool very much like one I had previously for 20 years and was still working great. My delivery was made today by Aaron. I was texted the route this morning and given what stop number I would be. It updated when Aaron had completed each delivery. Aaron arrived well ahead of the estimated time frame. He is a very pleasant young man who engaged in conversation all while he was hooking up my washer. He also showed me how to level the machine if I ever had to do so which I did not know. I have confidence this whirlpool will function for quite some time as I have always had a good experience with this brand. Also, the price for this refurbished washer was excellent. My experiences with Spencers has always been great!

2/17/2021 I can’t remember the technicians name but he was timely and very nice. He was here for a whole 10 minutes. The reason the washer wouldn’t work is the fact that the delivery crew “were new” and didn’t plug in something that triggered the sensor to run the wash when the lid was closed. I’ll bump it up my rating to a 2, but I give the tech a 5 just for his humor and patience.2/8/2021 My property manager used this company to replace my broken washer. The new to me washer was delivered promptly and the delivery guys were nice. However, washing machine is broken and A lady from Spencers called me and stated they can’t a tech out to fix it today. We picked a day and I mentioned how unprofessional it was to provide someone a broken appliance. Her reply “well, sometimes it happens”. I will update my review once the tech comes out and reviews the machine.

Needed a new dishwasher and have been a Kenmore guy for 50 years. Since Sears is passing into the night I needed to find a new place. I also wanted to buy it, take it home and install it same day. Tried Best Buy and price was good but warehouse in Ontario Ca. Tried Sears discount center. Don’t know what planet those guys live on but prices were out of sight and sales guy was used car sales type. Then Spencer’s in Mesa. Greeted by Darrell. Super knowledgeable, professional and price was $20 better than Best Buy. He happened to have 1 in back in a box but if he did not, warehouse is in Tempe. Boom! New dishwasher installed that evening. Do yourself a favor and go straight to Spencer’s and ask for Darrell or his other brother Darrell and tell him Ron sent you.

Delivery was well coordinated and very easy. I had a new washer installed and the old one taken away within 15 minutes.

I have done business with Spencers for new appliances and have been very happy with the experience, so when we needed a new second refrigerator the Outlet seemed like a good option. Unfortunately, it wasnt. I would not use the outlet again and advice any of you planning to do so to ask a bunch of questions before purchasing.To keep this review as short as I can, we bought a refrigerator so that we could stock up on food in the middle of a pandemic. A few days after delivery, we noticed that the freezer wasnt working properly. They sent out a technician in a timely manner, who determined that the refrigerator needed to be replaced. They sent the replacement refrigerator and the freezer on that one didnt work properly, either. So they sent the technician back again. He installed a new motor but that didnt solve the problem. So weve now received two different refrigerators and the freezer didnt work properly in either.The people at the outlet agreed to refund my money as soon as they came to pick up the second refrigerator. I asked that the salesman call me to discuss because I was in a situation where we really needed a refrigerator/freezer - we relied on the initial purchase and stocked up on food since grocery shopping is still hit-and-miss.The salesman never got in touch with me.In order to not have to coordinate delivery of a new fridge with pickup of the non-working one and to figure out what to do with all the food, etc., I called a Spencers location to discuss purchasing a new refrigerator instead.Almost three weeks into this saga, the new fridge was delivered. It works fine, we are happy with it.Only the service technician offered any sort of an apology. Nobody else apologized for the inconvenience, especially during a pandemic, that this caused us. No discount on the new refrigerator was offered.The rating is two stars because the service aspects, other than the salesman that didnt get back in touch with me, were good. But beware the refurbished description. After my experience, I dont think they do any quality control at all. If they had, there is no what Id have experienced what I did.

A refurbished washing machine was delivered this morning but didn’t work. A technician was supposed to call us back within 2 hours to fix it, it’s been 5 hours and I haven’t heard from him. I called Spencer’s I was transferred 3 times before they got me to the correct persons voicemail. Still waiting to hear back.

They sold me a washer/dryer set, and the washing machine leaked from the very first wash. Their technician, Dean, who was really the only part of my experience with them that was satisfactory, apologized for the inconvenience, when he determined the problem was not fixable and that Spencers would call to replace the machine. The two people I spoke to about getting the replacement were both incredibly rude and condescending. They were completely unapologetic about the trouble we had been experienced, they didnt seem at all regretful about the massive inconvenience this had caused, they werent apologetic about the hours of my free time I had to use to try to get the problem addressed. I will be returning both the washer and dryer, and would never consider using them again. When I told a co-worker, who had been considering purchasing a used fridge there, about my ordeal in more detail than is allowed here, she was horrified at the treatment I had experienced and decided she would go buy a new fridge instead of gambling with a refurbished appliance from them. I suggest you do the same.

DO NOT BUT FROM SPENCERS. My husband and I bought our fridge, washer and dryer all at once from Spencers 3 years ago. The whole process was great. Until we had an issue with our washer. We bought the extended warranty and we have had nothing but issues for the past three months with the warranty company. I have not been able to wash clothes for 2.5 months because the warranty company has failed time and again to fix the issue with our washer. They do not reach out to us, we have to reach out to them for updates on approval, it has been a nightmare. I have had to pay each week to go wash our clothes at a laundry mat. Spencers just keeps redirecting us to the warranty company. Just warning you, if you think you have security in your purchase because its under warranty. You will waste a ton of time and money trying to get any issue with your appliance resolved. Its not an issue with Spencers directly, but they have chosen to direct their business with this warranty company, Centurion, and it has been terrible.Update: So we were finally offered a basic loaner washer while waiting for our washer to get fixed, and the part to come in. This was 2.5 months after we had called to get out washer fixed. Im grateful I dont have to go pay to get my clothes washed. Unfortunately, the wrong part was ordered and it was only discovered until a couple days before our washer was scheduled to be fixed. So they had to order a part again. Each time a part is ordered, it takes about 2-3 weeks to get the part in. We were scheduled for our washer to get fixed on Oct. 13. Got a call and the tech was sick (understandable) so they had to push it to November 2.Here we are on November 2. The wrong part has been ordered.... Again. So now we have to wait to find out when the part will be in and when a tech can be scheduled to come fix our washer. We have been dealing with this since the middle of July 2020. It is now November 2020.I will change my star rating when this issue gets resolved. Until then, do yourself a favor and get your washer and dryer from Costco, where they offer their own extended warranty, and dont send it out to a third party.

We got a nice refrigerator at a good price but what made thing even better was the young man who delivered our fridge went out of his way for us to make sure it got in right. I wish I had gotten his name. We appreciate him.

Salesman said what he had to say to make the sale and lied to us. We were told a refrigerator could be delivered immediately. Two plus weeks later, no refrigerator. After spending $8k in appliances (washer dryer, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, a bed) youd think we deserve a little better treatment. Never again.

Delivered new stove for my property management company to my rental home. Delivery guy stayed in communication to advise if his arrival time. Was very careful in and out with the appliances. I only gave 3 starts because he did not offer to show how to use appliance, just advise he had tried all burners and was working.

Spencer’s Sales people’s customer service SUCKS!! I’d give them a one star.The only reason for rating a 3star is because I’d give the Delivery Department people a 5 stars, but because the rest of the Spencer’s experience was TERRIBLE and I would give them 1 star, I averaged out the two departments, which results in 3 Star overall. Spencer’s Delivery team is awesome and should teach sales several things about customer service.

Went looking for a used fridge. They are all grouped basically by size. The cheapest were $399. They charge $50 to deliver so by time youre done, with tax and all, youre spending $500 for a small, old fridge with no bells or whistles. I can watch the sales and get a new one for that. I wouldnt say my friend in the business was doing me any favors. Update: Went back and found better prices so bought a really cute side-by-side. Started freezing everything a month later. They came and fixed it under warranty which involved replacement of a bunch of different also used parts with no diagnosis of the actual problem. I had to tell him the part that eventually stopped the freezing. Then everything started melting just after the warranty ran out.

Would have been 5 stars but delivery was delayed 2 days. Install went quick though. would recommend.

This has been my go to place for replacing my appliances for 20 yrs. My Washer went out on Wed. and they del. & setup another one by Friday Noon. These are all reconditioned and the process was done all on the phone. Happy with the Washer and super service. Thanks Laura!

We were renting temporarily and needed to have our own washer and dryer. They are around $225-$250 each and come with a warranty. They usually have matching sets.

We just had the guy install our refurbished clothes washing machine that we just bought yesterday. He did a great job installing it and making sure it worked before leaving. He cleaned up what little mess there was and took the old one away for us. This is one of the many reasons why we shop at Spencers when we need new appliances, new or used! They are honest with great prices too!!

I got my very 1st washer and dryer here back in March. And they are amazing. We got a great price on the set. And the guy who delivered them was so sweet. I purchased my mattress the day of delivery and the guy got to my apartment as I got back. He offered to carry it up for me as I had my 3y old to get up the stairs and chairs as well

Needed a washer dryer and this place had a set ready to go and for fair proces with a warranty. The best part was the same as cash payment option. The process was easy and fast. The delivery also was as smooth as can be .The guy was nice and we chit chat as he installed my new to me washer dryer. I turned on the valves and he ran the washer and dryer and said I was all set. Good customer service from the time I walked in the door til delivery.

We had an older Almond colored range that needed to be replaced. First I just thought we’d get a new one but found out they don’t make Almond colored appliances anymore. Decided to look at used ranges and found Spencer’s online with great reviews. After visiting the store we found a nice replacement at a reasonable price and had it delivered two days later. Delivery was on time and did an excellent job setting up and testing the unit before leaving. Would definitely do business with Spencer’s in the future.

I needed a clothes washer quickly. researched the new ones and found out that for less money I could get nmore bells and whistles from a refurbished unit via Spencers Outlet. It is performing wonderfully.

The installer Justin was Great, however who ever prepped and sold the fridge did a terrible job because the fridge was dirty and I had to clean it myself. The fridge is 17 years old. That sales men should be disappointed in themselves what a bunch of crooks.

Purchased a reconditioned washer/dryer set. The dryer needed service the day I got it. Had a service person here twice that day. Took two hours to dry a load of wash. Asked them to replace the dryer and they did. Have my second dryer and it also takes 2 hours to dry one load of laundry. The washer works fine. Quick delivery and quick service. Just dont have a dryer that works well.

Every aspect was great and easy. Bought a 2018 washer in March...hated it! All the sales people insist the millenials love them...need I say more? I was DELIGHTED to find an old school Whirlpool for a great price and warranty at the outlet store. Delivery as scheduled and no hassle. Will probably visit again when ad if my dryer dies.

If you’re looking for no-frills reliable appliances at a great price, this place is it. Easy, everything as promised. I’ve learned the hard way they newer, fancier washers have short lifespans, and are cost-prohibitive to repair. Older direct-drive motor washers last much longer and can be repaired for cheap. Wouldn’t hesitate to come here again if I need a low-cost used appliance.

Delivery was on-time and quick. The tech checked everything to make sure everything was in working order before he left.

Spencers sent their installers to our home to remove our new Bosch dishwater and re-install it. The delivery people didnt install it properly. The water supply was crimped and the discharge hose was not installed according to code. Both items were corrected by the installers and they did it without damaging our wood flooring. We were very satisfied with their work and with Spencers in correcting this issue.

Im a renter and my management company set this up. The serviceman Justin was courteous and professional, and quick. My only gripe with this experience is that he came alone as nobody informed him of the stairs. Though I was willing and able to help carry the machines up and down the stairs, I suspect this would not be the case for every customer. Dont know if it was on the management co. or Spencers for the miscommunication, but thats the only reason I give 4 out of five. Again, very courteous and professional. Would have given 5 stars, had it not been for the miscommunication. That Justin ought to get a raise.

No one would even acknowledge me. Walked out, won’t be going back. I was ready to buy washer and dryer immediately, their loss!!

Worst service ever. Not only did they not show up at the time frame they provided, but they didnt bother to call and let me know they were running hours late. When I called them to confirm they were still coming the delivery driver Elliot started yelling at me. I called the store and they kept me on hold for a while.. the sales man who assisted me, Alan said sorry theyre a third party company and theres nothing I can do... ask for manager and they said he wasnt available until the next week..after giving them 2 additional hours to show up no one ever did. I called to get a refund and requested a confirmation but was told they would not do my refund until tomorrow when they had the washer and dryer in their possession.. are you kidding. They refused to send me any confirmation via email even after requesting it twice. Buyers be aware! Do not buy from here. Poor service, their low prices do not make up for the horrible service. Very sad and disappointed.
