I called to numerous companies and got several quotes. I was disappointed on how low the quotes were for a vehicle. When I called King of Clunkers, immediately Josh told me that he can be here same day to look at the car, make an offer and tow the vehicle. He paid more that what the other places were offering to pay. The transaction was quick and I am satisfied with the sale, ease of process, and quickness of services.

I spent a lot of time and money into getting my truck running, and although I was right on the verge of being able to drive it, I just couldn’t spend any more money on it. At the risk of scaring a potential buyer, I was very detailed with the history of the truck including the engine swap, replacing the radiator, alternator and a number of other things. Having that transparency about the vehicle paid of - I mean, as much as it can in this situation. King of clunkers took me at my word in regards to the state of the truck, and ended up paying me more than they typically would for a stationary vehicle because of the work done on it. It kills me to let it go for much less than I might have gotten if I parted it out, but I understand that is the nature of this game and king of clunkers definitely made it worth going the easier route in this situation.

Josh bought my mothers Buick Lucerne which had a blown head gasket & radiator issues.He then apparently turned around and sold it to a 72 year old woman for $2900, lying to her about why the engine light kept coming on and having the odometer covered. This poor woman and her daughter showed up at my moms doorstep, having gotten her address from the title that he signed directly from my mom to these people.What a sleazebag! Sure hell give you cash for your car, but youll be supporting fleecing innocent people for it... Thats obviously what happens to all the vehicles he buys.
