I hate that I have to do this as I was hoping to give people a good review on this location in mesa.- Sparknotes versionI bought a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and every week I had to take it in to the shop after the fifth time I got quoted for $16,000 to repair the engine in the end- Long storyI saw a good deal on this truck and drove from Tucson to Mesa to buy it. It had a few imperfections ( like in the mirror didnt work, the tires were bald and the tank was on - E - plus a few scrapes that were covered up by some form of blue marker) that I should have took as red flags but I figured its just cosmetic and I can handle that plus Im buying from a source thats been around for quite some time so they should be trust worthy.After owning it for roughly a week the AC went out. I talked to Mr j and he was kind enough to help me out with that by having the mechanic look at it.When I got it back after a few hours it went out again the second time . I took it back and they gave it back to the mechanic after about a week or two I got my truck back and once again it happened for the third time they took it to the mechanic and after almost a month and a half I get a call the same way I havent picked up my truck or contacted them ( mind you I gave my number to two of the associates at the facility and told them to call me anytime when it gets finished)After about roughly two or three days I started hearing a clicking noise from the engine and thought I should take it to a certified GM mechanic. A day or two later that clicking noise started sending more like a slapping noise of a piston.I immediately drove it to the mechanic after that.after $1,600 worth of inspections I was told it would require me to spend $16,000 to either fix the engine or replace it. After further diagnostic they found that there was a lot of missing hardware in the engine bay and somebody did a previous rebuild of the right side of the engine.I talked to lawyers and they said that lemon law does not apply in this situation due to the year and the amount of miles that are on the truck. I also tried turning it into a different dealership but with the amount of repairs that would have to do they would tack on an extra cost making it more expensive to finance another vehicle.Im pretty sure theres more but I think you get it.I can only hope this doesnt happen to you as well.

I had a great experience buying from them. The entire staff was friendly. Ron and Jay are extremely respectful and listened to what I was looking for and showed me everything that might fit my needs. Non pushy laid back people and environment. I would definitely recommend and buy again from them. They treated myself and kids like family.

Messaged with someone about coming to look at a Hyundai Tucson which he sent me to this address in Mesa only to find out that the vehicle is at their other location in Phoenix. Waste of my time, energy and gas. Also, the parking lot is terrible to pull in and out of oncoming traffic. Not very safe

I would never recommend this place to anyone bought a truck with my wife(under wifes name) here and it lasted 7 months before it took broke down on me of course outside what they would cover. Also this truck had minor cosmetic missing issues from the start of buying it and they promised to get the parts and never did after hounding these guys. They happily took my down payment though. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere you will regret it if you bring it here.

We came to Town and Country Motor for a Ford Flex, and we went away disgusted. Although I appreciate the “No haggling” business model, I did not appreciate the way we were treated by one of the salespeople. I cannot even tell you his name because he never introduced himself or displayed any manners at all. We test drove the Flex, and we loved it (SOLD!), but the AC briefly went out twice. So we walked into the older gentleman’s office (again, no introduction), introduced ourselves, and told him we love the Flex but it has an AC problem. He said he’d take care of it. When I asked him what that would entail, he just said, “I’ll take care of it.” Although that did NOT instill any confidence about the AC problem, my husband asked about the price. I asked to see the CarFax, and I asked why the price on the Flex was higher than the CarFax recommendation. The salesman, who was slouched so far down in his chair that his head was in the middle of the backrest, gave us a long explanation about how hard COVID has been on their business. My husband jokingly said, “Well, we don’t care about you. We have to look out for us.” The salesman condescendingly said, “And I don’t care about you.” My husband countered, “That’s all I needed to hear, dude. Let’s go, babe.” The salesman said, “Come on, lighten up.” We walked out, but if that guy could have just shown us a tiny bit of respect, courtesy, or interest in our business, we would have bought that car. He really worked hard to ruin his sale. The experience was rude and awful from start to finish.

I got a 2003 Honda Accord two years ago, sex months in the transmission went out. 2000.00$, then I get the car back and the battery dies the tires need changed and I have to get new brakes and rotors. What a wonderful time I had with this!!! 😕😕😕

Total RIP off shop. They will tell you anything they can to sell you a vehicle. Then when you discover a problem, they will say they will fix it...but instead keep saying someone forgot to order the repair parts. Three months later they will tell you that its to expensive to fix and they are not going to fix it. Avoid this place at all costs.

I went in to the dealer on a whim and a wish to look at a car advertised on-line, which had a great Carfax report. I drove the car-(yes, all used cars will have some issues), saw nothing that really scared me, and went back expecting to have some sales person try and sell me, and feed me all sorts of b.s. so that I would not to want to buy a car from this person. But in fact they didnt. A great price, friendly sales approach, reasonable dealer fees as compared to most other dealers, and a trade-in offer that was right in line with my research, all gave me the incentive to buy the car (as compared to being sold the car). And after a week of ownership, I am glad I did. I had found a diamond in the rough. An hour of my time doing cleanup and polish, and I have a car I am proud to drive. So my experience with the folks at Town and Country was a very positive one. Much different than going eyeball to eyeball with the many typical dealership salespeople which I had dealt with in the past. Most dealers do not have the word honest associated with their descriptions. I found that Town and Country was not like most dealers, instead this was a personal experience with a truly honest and busy small dealer that still took the time to take care of everybody on the lot with equal courtesy. UPDATE. August 2021. I purchased another SUV from Town and Country. Jay gave me another good deal on an excellent vehicle. I still recommend them highly.

I bought an 09 jeep liberty 6 days ago from them for what I thought was a great deal low miles low asking price...took the jeep out on a small dirty road to check the 4wheel drive and it starts grinding, lights flashing and dinging. So i take it back the next day I get it back 2 days later and notice an oil leak they said the first time I brought it back it would be fixed the right way if they fixed the 4x4 how could they not see under the front end which is where the grinding was coming from they would have seen the oil that was covering everything! I told the sales guy ron that I just dont feel comfortable keeping the car he says It doesnt work like that but while we were signing papers he stated that we had 15 days if anything was wrong. Now Im stuck making a car payment on a car that already needs work and tires.Stay away from town and country motors is my advice..............off country club in mesa

Wow have no idea how theres so many 5 star reviews. I dont want to be that person but I had the weirdest experience here. Staff was super shady in my opinion, the dude was completely rude and condescending. The car I test drove was on empty and when going back in to say something after I noticed, he acted like I was stupid and asked, Well where do you plan on taking it. Took it for a spin around the block and it literally smelled like cat piss or something. When going back to discuss pricing, dude leans waaaaay back in his seat and proceeds to speak with us this way in a condescending tone. Dead cockroach accompanied us in the corner of the office.

Shady dealership. Stay away from here. You will end up with a lemon for a vehicle, and pay way more than agreed upon. This family owned dealership does not honor their word and changes occur the minute you walk out the door.

After looking at the others reviews, my opinion is very different. I purchased a 2004 Ford Explorer from this dealer. After I asked many question concerning the vehicle, I was told that its inspection was Perfect. Well long story short, I got the vehicle in January, the entire transmission went out the beginning of May ($1800) little while later the radiator exploded ($905) and even after putting $304 into a new air conditioning system, I am still sweltering in the 109 heat because it doesnt work properly. When I called to see if there was anything that could be done, I was told rather harshly Well your 15 day cool down period is over. Guess we all play the fool sometimes. Sorry but the customer service, and the fact that I was sold a lemon even after I was guaranteed a good quality car keep my review negative.

Do not purchase a car here. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in my life. I went in to buy a 2010 Prius and was able to work a deal with Ron. When I called in to make sure that was going to be the price with the deal still they told me that it was and they were excited to get me my new car. When I finally did go in for the car we started an application for a loan and I saw that the price of the car out the door was $400 higher than what was agreed on. So I asked confused why the cars price is now much higher? I was told that I spoke with Ron’s father (a 78 year old man) who didn’t know I had a trade in, even though I distinctly asked meantioned it on the phone with him. So now I was being told that the deal that was worked isn’t valid because his Father didn’t ask the right questions to me when he gave me an out the door price, and that I was lying about telling his father about my trade in with them. When I pushed back saying that this was poor business to go back on a deal, especially after I applied for a loan with them, I was treated like I was stupid and an idiot for questioning him. At this point I was sick and tired of trying to be screwed over by a sleezy salesmen and walked out.Overall I had an awful experience with this dealership and would recommend that anyone who considers a car here should not even waste their time.

Bottom line,Jay put my family in an unsafe vehicle! He is not a man of his word I would never recommend anyone do business with them! 2013 Chevy siverado 4x4 he has is a death trap! Buyer beware! The front wheels(not tires,wheels) were about to fall off along with many other major problems, when we dropped it off and tried to get out of their crooked deal they almost had us in. Now he he is charging me out of my down payment,760$ for 2 weeks I was in the truck! Plus it had bald tires and am empty tank of gas when we got it! Horrible experience. Went to Henry Brown and got taken care of the right way! Shame on Jay of Town and Country motors for putting my familes lives at risk for$!
