Hidden gem finally found! Got more than what i have on my shopping list, husband is so happy and satisfied with his own selection of asian snacks and drinks. Something spilled on one aisle that made half of the store stinky. MAKE SURE TO CHECK EXPIRATION DATE! Some of their items are already expired but its still on the shelf, so y’all be careful. Best before is just fine but expired? Naaah naaah! They have live crabs and i was lucky i got all females!

They had all the Asian snacks I was looking for. The fresh seafood and produce areas were well stocked and maintained. All of the beverages I would want are there too. Just going up every ailse it looks like all anyone would need to make any dish from any asian country is in this store. The people there were nice as well and were a big help

Coming back shortly after hurricane IDA to reopen this store have decent stocks of goods to provide for their customers,meat, fish and fresh vegetables and all others necessary items, service with a smile as usual

Good selection. Prices are ok. Generally cheaper if you go to Hong Kong market. As with anywhere, remember to check expiration dates.

Buyer be aware: this place sells expired food, I went there twice and bought twice expired food, when I asked the owner about this, she claimed”this product had short shelf life itself” and it was a dry food item which lasts like 2 years +.I understand sometimes it happens but if she would have a better attitude to exchange the product or refund me I would’ve keep shopping there.Update after a month: since this is like the only Asian market around (not including HK food market) we went back a few times but every time we got close to expired food and the produces were all yellow/rotten/with bug bites none of the produce were edible.

Kind of hard for me to rate this market. Many of their items are not written in English so Im not really sure what they are. That being said, it appears that some restaurant owners shop there and of course they had a sizable Asian clientele. I guess that speaks volumes. One aisle in the store was 90% noodles. it was amazing! Ive never seen so many noodles in my life. The picture of the isle, is the noodle isle! Its definitely worth a trip. Check it out!

Youll be able to find so many different types of things in this place thats hidden in Metairie. A must go-to if youre in Metairie.

Not very many Japanese items, mostly Chinese. Check expiration dates. Some produce isnt so fresh. Unique items available so give it a go.

Sensory overload. Authentic.. with all of this stock how do they know exactly where to go? But they do.

Really good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was very happy to find something fresh to eat the shrimp rolls with peanut sauce was amazing! You can find a little bit of every Asian country in there and at reasonable prices!!

Great place to get your quick run of anything you might have forgotten to get at Hong Kong market. We go here once a week just cause it down the streets and literally have everything you need for your asian cuisine. It is pricer than the big chain. But if you are not feeling the drive to Hong Kong in the west bank.. This is your best bet you get everything you need. They have a great selection of candy and snacks. If we wasnt on such a strict keto diet for over a year. We probably would devour some of those goodies! They have cakes, bakery goods from Houston Texas weekly. So call and find out when they do. It gone pretty fast once they hit the display!

My favorite Asian food market in the city! Fresh food, frozen food, and fresh ingredients keep me and my partner coming back. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. I really appreciate this business being in the city. Please try it out and support our local foreign food markets!

A great Asian grocery on the East bank!

They are very helpful in searching and finding what you are looking for. These guys have a wide selection of foods and it is amazing! It takes some effort in knowing what u want before you get there unless you know the different languages quite well, but overall its a great place to shop! They even have MAMA noodles. Only few places sell it, so if you on or near veterans definitely check this place out.

A great place to get some legitimate asian groceries. Whether youre a foreign exchange student looking for something familiar or youre just a weeaboo, this is the place for you. They also got some pretty good sesame balls for a dollar.

I dont get to go often but I always enjoy it when I do. The veggies are fresh and there is such a great variety. Its a one stop shop for all your Asian food needs.

They have too much stuff. So some are on the floor. And of course, some packed and frozen foods and drinks already expired a year or two ago. I know its hard to keep up when you have too much. They just need to organize a little bit better.

I have been looking for curry roux for months. Walmart stopped selling it and Rouses stopped selling it so I decided to try here. I was happy to call and find out they had both Golden Curry and Vermont Curry roux blocks. I went and picked up 4 boxes today. Im so happy.

It is organized well enough to find what you want, even if you dont speak or read the many languages represented here. There is a huge selection of sauces, spices, and snacks. The prepared foods are minimal and just okay.

Great variety of essential ingredients of the Asian kitchen. Highly recommended if your need Asian foods, but you have to be prepared to search for them in the store. The staff are less than helpful, and not very excited about giving directions. Questions are usually met with a short Yes or No. If you are okay with spending the time searching for items, then this is the place for you, because the items are aplenty!

Lots of Asian stuffs, pricy.

The seafood and meat section smelled horribly ... seafood definitely didnt smell fresh even though they were all on ice. Prices for frozen goods were decent. Was a bit surprised about the prices for the boxes of ramen. Small but decent selection of fresh vegetables.

Good selection of Asian foods, especially the fruits and veggies. One of the only places on the gulf coast that has proper dried instant Chinese noodles.

Decent sized market with ample parking. They stay open later than the other asian markets in the city. I usually go there to buy pork belly and baby bok choy. Theres a good selection of snacks and drinks. I love browsing their frozen desserts (they have many different ice cream/mochi flavors). The stuff there can be a tad bit pricier than the other stores so remember to price check whatever you plan on buying just for reference

Busy, full of good stuff, excellent prices

My husband and I love shopping here. The people are nice. Some dont understand English, but if I am having trouble finding a product I just write it down and show them the word. They will take me right to the item. I also love the selection of drinks and snacks. They have new items every time I go there. The frozen section is also nice to find premade items. I also can buy for any asian recipe. The produce is a good selection at cheap prices, and cookware section is great, a little messy, but they dont have the room to be perfect. I dont buy from the meat case or seafood, but the prices seem fair with items that normally require special ordering at other stores. They also have ready to go food that looks like it might be bad, but the taste is good. Overall this store has never failed to meet my expectations.

There were items I had no clue what to do with, or what they were the staff did a terrific job translating for me. The fruits, and vegetables were fresh. The store was clean, and neatly organized. Prices were reasonable.

My boyfriend and I love to go here for snacks and ingredients to make homemade ramen and curry. Its reasonable priced and never crowded.

Do not use the mens room. Better off going in the parking lot. Employees must have another one they use.

All the best packaged brands for all sorts of Asian cuisine, along with small Bok Choy, Asian cabbage and other produce that is hard to find at regular stores. I love to go there and find new products to try.

Amazing options for anything you could truly ask for for food prep. Only wish that they had more options in prepped foods. Was looking for hand rolls and pork buns, but they only had the standard rolls and un-named buns. Couldnt tell what kind of meat was used, but was still delicious and had hard boiled egg.

Large selection. Probably a better experience if you speak Chinese. The check out clerks speak English.

Probably has most of the stuff youre looking for if you dont want to drive all the way to the westbank, but their stock does rotate, they wont have the same stuff every time guaranteed. they label all their vegetables with the same sticker so youll either have to know your veggies, be able to read chinese, or ask for help. staff has been helpful in my experience.
