I moved out of state but come back every year visiting family and stop here for the items I cant get where i now live. Good prices and good selection; I get everything I need and then some. See yall next year!

Love this store, they’re always so nice to us every time we go and it’s packed full of goodies. My spouse is Korean and we find most of what we need for Korean cooking there plus a lot of treats. The quality is great and most things are priced surprisingly well. It’s not the most convenient location for me to get to since I live in the Marigny and don’t have a car, but it’s worth the extra time and effort because I always have a great experience when I go. One hot day, last summer, I biked there and as I was loading up my bike to leave, the owner came out to give me a cold can of Milkis. It was so thoughtful and very much appreciated.

My new favorite market! They have all the asian goodies from spices and sauces to snacks and noodles. THEY HAVE SOJU. I could not find a liquor store that sold it. Their staff is friendly and helped me find just what I needed to make Okonomiyaki. Here are pictures of my haul and a picture of my Okonomiyaki. Definitely shop here instead of ordering on amazon!

The guy behind the counter cracked me up. I went there to get some Ramune drinks for my brother and I. While I was there I found flavored Sake.

I usually don’t write reviews, but every time I come here they’re extremely rude for no reason. It’s a shame there aren’t many other Asian markets around.

We go to Oriental Market for their selection of imported snacks. We dont go super often, but the owners are super-friendly and remember us even though I wouldnt describe us a regulars. Definitely recommend.

A quaint mom-and-pop shop run by a korean couple. You can find all manner of koran and japanese quick snacks and frozen goods here as well as the occasional tool or kitchenware. If you live in the area I highly recommend at least a cursory trip to here.

Very good! Lots of Korean products including real kimchi, other Asian products and fresh Asian vegetables and sauces. They have plenty of choices for cup noodles and noodles than any other local groceries. And some organic miso was great.

Best Korean supermarket in the New Orleans metro area. Its small but they have a really good selection of staple Korean items. They are also willing to order items from Korea if you request. Friendly family business.

The couple that run this place are two of the kindest people I’ve met. They remember most of their customers and are always extremely helpful in making suggestions for new goodies to try. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they always have fully stocked shelves

Fresh produces from fresh to dry.

I can get many items that just arent carried by other grocery stores here, and at a great price! There are many times I have needed a special spice or vegetable for a recipe and I can usually get it here. Or items to boost the umami or presentation of a dish. On top of that they have an excellent selection of Sakes, snacks, and instant noodles. This make a trip here worth it for multiple days of food.

I went here to pick up some sushi ingredients and the place was very clean, everything was organized correctly and the workers were very helpful and friendly. Definite recommend.

A+Super friendly owners/staff. Very quiet environment with a very nice selection of foods and snacks. This is my favorite Asian market to go to hands down and is the best to go to hands down. Best place for Korean foods as they even have Banchan ( side dishes ) prepared and ready to serve.

I so love this place! Talk about a huge snack and noddle selection! Things I never knew I could find in NOLA!! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and my kids had a blast picking out snacks!! Plus they sell Samyang noodles!!! This is definitely a store I will continue to shop at!!!

The perfect Mom and Pop owned Korean grocery. We travel from uptown New Orleans past a few other Asian markets to come here. Super friendly, great selection and have you tried the wifes home made Bulgogi? Its in the meat freezer and is as good (or better) than anything you can buy at a restaurant! My friends think I am an amazing Korean style chef, but without this place, Id be back to boiling ramen :)

The staff is super helpful. I was trying to experiment with different recipies and they helped me find everything I needed. Parking is about the only issue, because the parking lot fills quick so I suggest going odd hours so you wont have to park down the street.

Very small selection in general but larger selection of Korean side dish ingredients than I’ve seen in the larger markets. Didn’t really care for the atmosphere. Would not recommend. Just make the trip to Hong Kong market.

Friendly staff, everytime I stop in. I come here solely for the best individually wrapped gummy candies that money can buy. You can also find some of the more rare ingredients that certain asian recipes may call for.

Not large but for everything Korean, its our go-to place. We even get a few home made Bulgolgi packs to take home and freeze, just as good as any local restaurants for less!

Cool spot with all the niche products youd expect at a Korean grocery store. They also have a nice selection of dishes that Ive purchased here as well. The produce section is the standout where you can get whole fresh daikon among other things. Its obviously not as large as a place like Hong Kong Market, but when traveling to the Westbank isnt on your schedule, this place should be able to fulfill your needs.

Great Korean grocery! Im new to the area and had been going to Hong Kong market but I only wanted and needed Korean products. Luckily, I stopped by this place and they had everything I needed in a small store. No need to walk down a hundred aisles like at the big asian grocery stores! Good variety of kimchi and normal Korean grocery prices.

Prices are good, too.I go mainly for the sake; this is the only place locally (that Ive found) that sells Dewazakura sake from Yamagata, Japan - so they have my business for life. Good selection of shochu and chamisul, too.

This is my favorite grocery store for produce you wont find nearly anywhere else - and if you do find it elsewhere, you wont be paying a fair price! The staff remembers basically everyone, and theyre incredibly kind people.
