I went in because I’ve heard great reviews about them but my experience was horrible. Gene asked me after I was there a few minutes if I needed help. I told him yes and he asked what vehicle I had. I told him I wanted to replace my audio and was mainly looking for a quote. Instead of asking what type of sound I’m looking for or even what brand(s) I had in mind (because I know the 2 I wanted quotes for) he took me to the computer, pulled up a quote from someone who had work done a few weeks ago and that was it. I had to ask him what brand was this quote even done with as well as tell him that was not the type of sub I even wanted. Even when I explained which sub type I was looking for, he said they don’t carry that type. However he showed me a picture of it. He called it something random. I called it by the name actually listed. Would I have had this treatment if I was a male? Probably not since I could hear others conversations and they were way more thorough. So no, I will not be back and taking my money elsewhere.

Not great experience. While they did technically get work done, it took way too long and still wasnt right. I kept having to call them, and they opened my windows, which dont roll up easily.Staff not on top of things, wouldnt acknowledge me. One employee almost tripped over me, while I was standing still, in the middle of the room. Like I was invisible.Parker was fantastic, wish I had only dealt with him. Wouldnt waste my patience again, Ill wait for an appointment with a more caffeinated crew.

They do not know what they doing at all, I PURCHASED something from them and within a year, it stopped working & they had NO CLUE how to fix it!! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this place, HORRIBLE SERVICE

I came in today with my brother to get his subwoofer replaced and was amazed by the attention and abilities of Gene and Carl. Gene was a great consultant, helping us with all of the options that worked for us. Carl was absolutely fantastic with his energy, enthusiasm, and sincere desire to give us the best product for our money. He was extremely helpful and made the experience an absolute blast. Both Carl and Gene are great assets to the company.We went in there hoping to replace a stock sub and left with the exact feeling we were looking for because of Carl and Gene. We were walk-ins off the street and they handled all this on the same day within a couple of hours.I 100% recommend Mobile One and am so happy we came in today. I’m sure the other employees are great but I can tell you from personal experience that Gene and Carl are great at what they do. 5 stars!

I came to this location to get my 12in Subs and amp to install into my car. I ended up catching a great sale on Cerwin Vega! Yes, yall old school! If you know anything about music you know what a great brand is. I actually purchased the subs and the amp and got it installed while I waited all in the same day. It took about two and a half hours for them to install everything. I have had zero problems with my speakers. One night, somebody decided to try to bust into my car and try to steal my speakers and amp. Due to the great job the employees done on the install, the thief was unable to take my speakers nor my amp. I had to go in and have it checked and the store manager had no problem taking my car into the garage to check the connections. They fix the issue I had in a very quick manner and had no problem doing it! If you need great service and a solid install for your speakers, I definitely suggest this location specifically. This is a place where you can get some great stuff for ur car. I jus needed a unit that plays CD and flash drive. $89 for the unit $115 for the install which I thought install was a little pricey but willing to pay. After a 3 hour wait then I get the news my universal module wont program and the replacement is $229.95 so now Im $474.92 out the door for an ordinary CD player nothing special which is why after waiting from 2pm til 6pm Im giving overall 2 stars..

I am a Huge fan of Mobile One. I have used Mobile One several times over the last 10 years, They have done installation work on my cars and homes. Most recently they helped upgrade my dads TV, stereo and DVD players. They installed the original pieces over 8 years ago, because of my initial experiences, I went back to them. They did not disappoint.! They may have cheaper providers out there, but none that do a better job of delivering a great value for the professional service they provide. Take my word for it. Do not go to the big box companies work with the local Experts MOBIL ONE.

I know they probably deal with all kinds of headaches and people who get upset and all, but they need to work on thier service level when talking to customers. Billy practically tried to talk me out of having them help connect power from my cars fuse box to my dashcam. He talked to me as though I didnt know any information about the product I researched and purchased, and further tried to talk me out of it by letting me know how much it would cost in a manner to push me away instead of being informative. Once he saw I didnt care and just needed it done, he calmed down and proceeded with the process. Not every customer is a headache and we should not all be treated as though we are a headache waiting to happen. I would go elsewhere going forward.

I came here after reading mixed reviews. My experience here was nothing but exceptional. I came here to get a back up camera for my car, and received great customer service, from buying the camera to having it installed. Billy was extremely helpful and professional.

The only reason they are getting 1 star is cause i cant give them a 0! I spend over $450 getting my sound system installed. 3 days later it rained in the entire inside of my car was soaking wet. When they ran the power cord from the battery into my vehicle they did not seal the hole and rain poured into my car. Then my ac stopped working. I took it to the mechanic and the mechanic said that when they hooked up the sound system they shorted out the wiring to my blower motor. I took it to a place on the Westbank called car toyz and tint and had it all rewired correctly

This was an amazing overall experience. I had a blown out speaker in my car for more than two years and was in great need of help. After calling numerous places in the city, Mobile One was the only that said they could fix the speaker same day. After speaking with Gene over the phone, once I got there he was super helpful and informative. After immediately assessing the situation and determining that it was actually a subwoofer that was blown out, he very clearly explained all the options that were available to me. He then introduced me to Carl who was the actual person who would be doing the install and he was AMAZING. I cant explain enough how great Carl was. First, he was very honest prior to installing as he said that the option I was leaning toward (which was cheaper) would probably not be the option that would make me happiest long term. He also very clearly explained why it would not be the best option for me and my cars current system. After this very honest and detailed explanation, I decided to go with the more expensive option and once I was given back my car upon completion, I was blown away. I was not prepared for just how much of an upgrade the subwoofer would be (went from a blown out factory 6 inch to a 10 inch subwoofer). In addition to completely cleaning my messy trunk where the subwoofer was placed, Carl even fixed an electric issue I was having with my key and locking system that I had had for weeks - without me even mentioning the issue to him before working on my car. Carls passion and dedication to his work was so clear and I appreciated him and his work so much. I will be going back to him and Mobile One for all my future sound needs. Eternal gratitude to Carl and Gene for their help and upgrading my life. Highly recommend!

Their crew did a great job on my rear camera install and a tint job on my 4runner. Highly recommend. They got me in and out quickly. Very professional staff.

I went in looking for a whole new setup in my truck. My salesman Billy was very knowledgeable about everything that I wasn’t. He advised that we go take a look at my vehicle before looking at anything inside. He took note of what I was looking for soundwise and he brought me inside to check out what he had in mind. After choosing what I wanted he put in all in the computer and advised me that he would have to order a few parts to accommodate my expectations (using factory backup camera, a dashboard piece to fit new head unit). After showing me everything he needed to order I told him let’s do it. The next day my truck was first in line and it was all day project, he called me midday to give me an update and a time frame. I must say I am very pleased with the final outcome!

Gene is very knowledgeable and patient! I was not looking to spend a fortune on my kids car and he still treated me very good which was very much appreciated!

Store is disorganized. And items are overpriced. Cashiers get paid commission so they try to get the most for their product. Also when we tried to leave the cashier knew we were gonna look online and got a little rude. He tried to feed us nonsense about products not being good if found elsewhere. Do yourself a favor. Save a trip and just look on amazon

These guys are scam artists who seem to have only a basic understanding of car audio. They take the most inefficient route at fixing your problem, all the while taking any chance they get to charge you $80 in hidden fees.

I had read the reviews prior to going here but I needed to be thrifty and I just needed a simple in-dash DVD install with overhead monitor. I worked with Jordan at the front desk who was extremely helpful and nice. He also didnt bash his competitors when I asked about them (which I thought was nice). Long story short, I ended up getting everything installed for less that I was originally quoted. Also, They were able to hook things up in such a way that I could play DVDs in the front and back simultaneously (which i didnt know was possible with the hardware that I had). This installation guy was very nice and knowledgeable as well. I didnt buy the hardware from them but I would definitely recommend them for installation. :-)

I went for a consult, purchased some equipment without knowing my existing woofers would work with a new setup. The salesman realizing this recommended going with my original woofers saving me around $440.00. One thing people need to understand about markup is that there is a reason. Businesses have operating costs, insurance, etc. YOU are ultimately responsible for any action you take. Blaming a retailer for over-charging is admitting to being ignorant. With the technology available today, researching online is extremely easy and there is no excuse to over pay for anything. They have a good experienced crew that is very knowledgable. To the person with the last comment, good job making yourself look ignorant.

I ALWAYS read reviews before going anywhere to get stuff like this done. And even though I wasnt to thrilled with what I read, mostly being the recent reviews, I still decided to go as they were 3 stars or better and had time availability for first thing Saturday morning 1/2/15. Well its 9:30 and Im already at best buy cause they wanted to feed me some bullshit about a GPS antenna charge. I took this radio out of my wifes GTI. I didnt use the GPS antenna in her car, and I dont need it in my truck. But oh, if I didnt I was informed I would get all kinds of error messages and if I had to come back I would be charged more to run the GPS antenna. So I guess if you have it in a GTI and dont get any error messages, if you take it out and install it in ANY other vehicle, youre going to get error messages! OK. Well, Ill take the chance, and on top of that go somewhere else to get it installed. Thanks for the favor, and thanks everyone for your reviews!

So I didn’t buy anything here, but I came in looking to buy a radio and a dash piece to replace my stock radio( I do the work myself) and when the sales guy or whoever approached me and was looking up the dash piece for me, he actually sat and tried to tell me I needed an additional $250+ Worth of parts that my Dodge would have needed if I actually wanted to replace my radio. Now I knew he was lying and it pissed me off so I just told him I couldn’t afford that and left

Ive been a customer for about six months now and my experience was and still is awesome compared to other car audio shops Ive dealt with in the past. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable for the most part. I personally install car audio as a hobby but do not have the equipment in order to build custom set-ups let alone tune these newer signal processors the right way, so I choose to get that done professionally and Im glad I chose this place. I purchased an Audison bit-ten processor to replace/upgrade my previous AudioControl DQ-61 as well as purchased a 12 inch JL Audio W7, which I had them make a custom enclosure for, to replace/upgrade the single 12 inch W3 I had in a ported box. Needless to say, I expected them to take a few days at minimum in order to get it all done especially since I wanted a custom enclosure done for it, but they told me that they would only need a full day to do it. At first this had me a little skeptical as Im very meticulous about my installs, however, I went with my gut feeling and decided to go for it. I dropped my car off in the morning when they opened and received a phone call saying my car was ready to be picked up about two hours before they closed that same day. My installers name was Kelvin and the work he did on my ride was beyond my expectations!!! He even let me see some of the other custom installs he was working on in the bay and I must say that he does GREAT work!!! Since the day of my install I have gone back twice for him to tweak a few EQ settings on my processor to my liking since its all done via a computer software. As I said before, their customer service has always been great to me. Even from just asking general questions, Billy is the go to sales guy in there if you really want to get some knowledge about car audio or equipment youre interested in for your vehicle. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to upgrade their car audio!

Very good selection of headunits including those with navigation. Paid $1400 total including tax for top of the line Kenwood eXcelon Navigation 2-DIN headunit (DVD player, HD radio, Bluetooth handsfree calling and music streaming built-in), with added back-up camera, SiriusXM add-on, and steering wheel control add-on fully installed (installation of everything included in price). They had to basically take the car apart front to back which can be a little unnerving to watch especially on a brand new car (2013 Nissan 370Z), but did excellent job, no rattles or loose panels. No appointment needed, I just showed up, no wait time, and it only took about 3 1/2 hours total (probably would have only taken 2 1/2 hours if it wasnt for back-up camera). They finished 30 minutes after closing, very friendly and obviously knew what they were doing. Sure, I could have done it myself and maybe saved a couple hundred at most, but it would have taken me at least three times as long (all weekend).However, it does depend on what salesman you happen to get (they have alot of leeway with installation prices and discounts for add-ons; I think the sticker price for everything plus installation came up to $1900 or $2000; I paid $1400) and the installer you get. I was extremely lucky to get probably the best two that work there. Also, very lucky that the only other car that day was being finished right when I had finished picking out all the components. Its been three years and everything is still working perfectly. No rattles to this day!If I had chosen to get navigation and back-up cam built-in from Nissan would have literally cost $8000. And I wouldnt have Bluetooth music streaming from my phone, nor HD radio. The entire system is fantastic! And I honestly couldnt have done a better job myself (I could have done it myself, but paying an extra $200-300 to have it installed in less than 4 hours, you cant beat that. Besides all the add-ons, he also had to install the microphone for handsfree calling and the antennas for GPS and SiriusXM).Highly recommended! Just dont pay sticker price; you can haggle with them. After having just bought the car for $6000 under invoice price (invoice, not sticker, about $9000 under sticker), I guess Im pretty good :)

To their credit, they did successfully change out a severed 4ga. wire on my 08 F-150. The salesman assigned to me said, Youre looking at a minimum of $100 plus an additional $20 because you didnt buy your equipment here. Plus, any additional charges if we find anything else wrong. First off, sounds like your salesman is trying to get rid of me by nickle and dime-ing me to death! So, I talk with the assistant manager. Im quoted about $60 by him. Ok. Fine. Do it! Everything is done, I go to pay, and magically the ACTUAL bill is $208.74! Called and talked with Paul Campo, THE OWNER! Wow! He says IM AN UNGRATEFUL CUSTOMER!!! Paul, its not for me to be grateful for anything! I paid for something. YOU should be grateful that I chose Mobile One. I REALLY hope the extra $100 or so that you allowed your employees to rape me out of was worth it. At least now other customers know how you view us. If even one person decides to go elsewhere because of this review, then Ill consider my sacrifice of $100 worth every penny! Paul, you have my phone number if you want to make this right.
