I havent been to every facet nor every store of the mall, but so far my experiences have been well; there was no trouble.An improvement thatd Id suggest would be that all stores should have masks at the check out, sanitizer, and baby wipes (to use before trying on clothes or whatever else).Last time I came to one of the businesses here that was selling art, they didnt express, No flash photography until after the fact that it happened, so I think there should be signs or some notice.Overall, it was good here.

Very clean mall, nice place to get some steps in, good amount of food and stores

Got there right before Macy’s opened, so not crowded at first. Soon enough, waves of people came in and it was packed. All stores began to be very busy and it was a very large amount of people. Most people wore masks, which was very good. Overall a decent trip.

It beautiful in the inside. Lots of new name stores. I will go be back!

Since they blocked me from making any negative comments on Facebook. The Pumpkin Patch isnt the same without the Great Pumpkin. I dont want to take pictures with a person dressed as a farmer. Bring back the Great Pumpkin.

Lakeside is definitely the best mall South of the mall of Louisiana. It still has life and it has a good selection of stores. The food court is great too.

The mall is great the only down fall is the train they put up every year. Its in front of some major stores and when you go shopping you cant hear what the associates are saying and its like they have to yell at the customers so they can hear. I think they should change it up and put it down on the opposite end to give the stores on the other side a break. The kids get really rowdy and its hard to think let alone shop. This is just my input but my one voice wont make a difference.

I am so glad we have Lakeside Shopping Center. I like air conditioning and beautiful surroundings while I shop. I visited JJill and got a Starbucks. Nice way to end my day.

Very good mall that has many good shops for many things. It also has some pretty cool shops like Build a Bear, a Lego Shop (a bit expensive but really cool), and so many other things. The food selection is also great but what I also like is the look the hotel has, looks very nice.

Like every other mall. The main stores you look to shop in. The food court filled with all your quick eats. Everything was clean, plenty of policy walking about so I felt good about that, and the mall was easy to navigate. I would go again and tell my friends.

I am in love with this mall. I cant wait to get back here. I live in Montgomery Al and this is what a real luxury mall looks like. Everyone has great hospitality in every store.

The town center of Metairie. Busy on the weekends. Stay clear if you dont like crowds. Lots of stores and variety. Clean and up to date with interior design.

Had a bad expierence was taking some photos of a chair back and a plant for a class the security comes running up and grabs me saying never come back cool I will try and bring my businesses and concerns with me. Heres one of the plant, started following me after this one then laid off after people started just looking crazy at them then felt I crossed the line after the pic of the chair ran up like 3 times while Im sitting at the table playing a game thought they were trying to ask for a cookie. Love Great American Cookie

Very well kept. Bathrooms are clean. Stores are mostly full and open. We love the live entertainment. Tons of food choices. Parking garage is great on rainy days.

Lakeside still offers shoppers a pleasant experience. One of our favorite places to visit when in town.

Excellent enclosed shopping center in Metairie, LA. Very pleasant atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of stores. I had a very pleasant shopping experience at Lakeside Shopping Center. I will be returning in the near future.

IT WAS BAD. NO ONE HELP. I WAS TOLDED SHE WAS BUSSESS. THE OTHER SAID SHE BE RIGHT WITH ME, NEVER CAME BACK. IT WAS BAD.

Its a mall. They havent changed much in 20 years. Its relatively clean and oddly more crowded than I anticipated. More mask wearers than non-mask folk. Each store has their own guideline but general mall areas no mask required for vaccinated shoppers.

We visited Bath and Body Works. Every employee in the store was very helpful. Every one in the Mall, employees, and visitors wore masks. You go Lakeside!!!

This mall has gotten worse in terms of cleanliness and clientele over the past few years. Stores are messy, and customers are rude. Parking is outrageous as well.

Great place to walk early in the morning. Shops well done and cover everything. Food Court excellent.

Went on thanks giving night for shopping, during our trip to New Orleans and to be honest, I really loved the mall. They have all the brands people usually shop along with the more expensive and lavish brands too. We were there only for couple of hours, busy shopping, so didnt get much time to explore the whole mall. We did see some food shops aa well. Only drawback is, we didnt see any directory for a mall of this big size. We switched on our gps to locate the desired stores.

I had my dental appointment. For X-rays were taken. My dental hygienist cleaned my teeth. The dentist examined my teeth. Everything was fine. An appointment was made for 6 months from now.

Very busy even on a weekday afternoon (Thursday). Difficult to social distance but more than half of the people, including all employees, wore masks. The best part is the food court, which has 10+ vendors across a variety of different foods so you are bound to find one you like.

One of the last thriving indoor malls I have seen in a while. It may not be huge or stay open late but it gives me great nostalgia. I am happy to still see at least one mall doing so well in a time where most of them are dying. The architecture and cleanliness is nice. A very appealing place to shop. It is conveniently located in Metairie, in my opinion. Surrounded by a nice array of other shopping centers and restaurants in the area as well. Worth the visit.

I love Lakeside! Make sure that you do try to hit every store in one day because the mall is huge with lots of selections. There are so many stores to choose from so you will be sure to find what you are looking for. I especially recommend Dillard’s. It has everything for everyone at any age, men’s accessories, clothing, gift items, women’s clothes, accessories, makeup, household items, and a children’s department!

I wasnt happy with my visit at the CHEESE CAFE FACTORY. Ive never been to a restaurant that wouldnt let you place another order, cause your first order wasnt right. I wouldve had to pay for both orders. I will not go back.

Clean, well-maintained, upscale mall with polite but firm enforcement of mask mandates. The Bath & Body Works is a highlight, and the food court is packed with delicious options.

Been going here many years and its still a really great mall, you just get that nostalgia we all love so much! It was clean, little crowded but it was a weekend, my kids and myself had a great time!

Great mall! I think that it was a little too crowded during the pandemic. However, the patrons were social distancing as much as possible. Also, the stores were limiting the number of visitors that could enter the store. Overall, I enjoyed my visit.

I got lenses from LensCrafters. Eye exam was great. Got my prescription ok perfect.

Im originally from New Orleans and Lakeside has ALWAYS been one of the top tier shopping malls in the area.I actually didnt shop on this day but took my 73 year old aunt out for dinner to celebrate her birthday.It was just she and I.We used to celebrate my mothers birthday there every year but we lost her 2/28/20....so my aunt chose to go there in honor of her sisters memory.It was a bittersweet moment but we truly enjoyed the food and our time together.

Nice improvements done to this mall but Apple needs let people in for pickup and Genius Bar. People don’t have time to wait in line. They’ve other things to do. I understand that there’s still COVID-19 vaccines needed to given but no store at Lakeside Mall is letting people wait outside. I’m here (01/20/21) to pick up my order but I have to be in the account with my sister to pick up the order. So, I’m patiently waiting since 2:00PM CT.

I don’t like this mall. It is too busy, too noisy and people are just everywhere.

Best Bath & Body Works as was have what Im looking for.

My family and I had an awful experience with the female employee working at Big Easy Shades. We were there the evening of 6/16. This unfriendly and unpleasant employee scolded my 2 kids for trying on cheap knock off sunglasses.Yet, other customers were trying on glasses and knocking them off stands. If you have any issues, you do not speak to the child, you speak to the parent.This ignorant woman has zero people skills and seems miserable. Sad employee who should be in another line of work.

The mall has plenty stores for the young women. They need to get some stores for older mature women. That would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

They like to tell people that they close early just so they can get off early. Being inside the Mall makes it even harder to get to the store, and once there you get the feeling that your not wanted

Just your typical mall.. nothing fancy pretty outdated. GOD FORBID you park at jc penny and you stay until closing time. They shut the main entrance doors a few minutes before the mall closed and I had to walk from the food court entrance alley the way around to the jc penny side of the parking deck

Great mall to go. Has a variety of shops. Love to hit Dillards and Macys then look in William Sonoma if needed. Will hit the food court....love me some Smash Burger and get some beignets.

The remodeling of the mall has truly made it a gem and good experience.

Best shopping center in the city of new Orleans

In the age of pandemic shopping done electronically, this was a nice change of pace. Sometimes its nice to actually see the products in person and know there are jobs and lives tied to the commerce.Lakeside is a beautiful shopping center with the renovations over the last several years. The shops are great and the dining options are good also.

The art displays done by students from local schools were fabulous. It is wonderful to go to a mall that is still thriving. Very sad when you walk inside the malls at Esplanade and Clearview. So few stores left.

I used to love to go to this mall, but was very disenchanted with my last visit. There were tons of young adults throughout the middle of the mall that were not shopping They were very rude and blocked the way when you tried to get by. I ended up leaving. Need security at Lakeside.

I hadnt been in the mall since covid, but since Ive been vaccinated, both shots, I ventured out to the mall. There are several new clothing stores with quality merchandise. The only store that have changed to me is JCPenneys. Its very unorganized with displaying their merchandise. That includes clothing, shoe department, activewear its just 2 crowded, everything its just, dont look like AR c a r r y the same quality merchandise has before.
