The store looks open no sign of it being closed or closing early. online says 8pm. Canes said mall doesnt close soon but that they were already closed. I stood their for 30 minutes only trying to place an order and the phone line rings busy. yall owe me my time

No one ever answers the phone. Its either busy or continuously rings. Mall customer service says theyre open.

Today my boyfriends mom went to pick up a cake that I had ordered for him online and when I got there they haven’t even made it, I had ordered it 2 days prior to the pick up date . When she got there they were saying that they haven’t even got an order for it and when she showed them the receipt with the lakeside mall location on it, she had a big attitude and told her to move to the side while she goes to make this cookie cake . I had order a cookie cake that said it would feed up to 30 people and I customized it to have a fire truck and an American flag on it because it’s my boyfriends birthday and he’s deploying next month . When I received the cake it only had a fire truck on it and it looked really rushed and messy, i had ordered it to have a fire truck and an American flag on it . I wasn’t bothered by the messy part, I was bothered by the fact that if I had customized it to have an American flag on it, it should have had an American flag on it . She told me she had already made the cake an couldn’t fit the flag, She was also rude about it an told my boyfriends mom there’s nothing she could do .That’s not what I ordered, I’m very disappointed and disgusted with the way they treat there customers. Very much of a waste of a $50 cookie cake .

Ordered a 16 inch cookie cake - 3301 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LAPaid for it with cc - got a printed receipt - realized as I am walking away looking at my receipt a $5 tip was added without my authorization!!!!I went back to the same girl and asked her why was a $5 tip added and on the receipt a “.35 Commodity Cost” which after calling other locations. - this is the only location that charges this!Getting back to the $5 tip - the girl “Reprinted” my receipt and took off the tip she gave herself!She stated my first receipt was for the customer before me - so then I said - no your incorrect - it was my signature at the bottom of the first receipt - and she couldn’t explain what a “Commodity Cost” is!!!!!Lesson learned!!!!!!!!!

Order a cake days in advance. Called to pick it up and it wasnt made. Iwas told pick up at 1145 over the phone. I arrived and the young lady with the golden dreadlocks was very rude and unprofessional. She was no help and had a very nasty attitude.

The hours to to be updated...I left work to come get cookies and a cookie cake for my son’s class...waste of time...good thing I knew a real bakery 🤦🏽‍♀️

I love Great American Cookies! Their cookies are fresh, sweet and tasty. I have several favorites including the chocolate chip selections, and the sugar cookies with sprinkles. They also have brownies which have a indulgently flaky crust.If Cookies are truly your groove, You could indulge in a giant cookie instead of a cake for your birthday.Great American Cookie is a concession built on indulging the inner sweet tooth .

My bf loves their double stuffed cookies. The service here is always really good! Staff is amazingly friendly, they even but more frosting for him. Were traveling back home, so they put it into a cookie box to make it easier to carry around.

I love this place. Best cookie cakes I’ve ever had. But when I ordered the double doozies on Friday the chocolate cookies were stale. I hope it was just a one time thing

I have called lakeside mall ‘s all day to order a cookie cake for a birthday party! For hours the phone rang with a busy signal! Then about 6pm the phone just continued to ring for at least 15 times with NO Answer ! Are y’all still in business in Metairie La ? Or incompetent employees? Terrible way to run a business! The cake was good...But after I spent close to $50.00 dollars on a birthday cake they wanted to charge me almost $3.00 for a soft drink, after they asked if I would like one before I left WTF!!!! I guess the drink was worth not giving to me for not to go there again and tell everyone I know about what happend!!!!

I called this location and placed an order when I went to go pick it up they said you never placed an order. So its a good idea if you dont go to this location

Just make sure when you order a cake that the decorator knows how to make a unicorn cake like the one on display In their case for your daughter and NOT a colorful penis cake

Great cookies. Theyre not warm, and theyre expensive. $4 for two cookies.
