I went to zales to buy a new citizen watch. Found the one I wanted but once I got it home I found that it was not a new watch and had been worn and had scratches all over it. I didn’t go there to buy a used watch. It obviously had been worn and returned by somone else and they put it back in the showcase.

Awesome customer service. Very friendly staff that was able to answer all questions and made you feel very comfortable. We had recently went to make a purchase at our local Houma store and the customer service was HORRIBLE glad we took the drive to make our purchase at this location.
Original visit: It was a Sunday (11-23), holiday sales going on, pretty busy, but was greeted and introduced to a salesperson. They did not have the specific piece I was looking for and I asked about prices for a few items. I was repeatedly reminded of the 30% of sale, Id say about 6-7 times. I decided to order the piece I wanted without seeing it first. The process in store is basically ordering online like you would from home on a tablet they provide.I left, and once home changed my mind. This is where it went poorly. I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a representative who told me she put in for cancellation and I should receive an E-mail. I never did, I figured it was buried in my G-mail spam folder and decided it was OK as 7 days went by without a charge. Monday morning my card declines for a different purchase, check my account and the Sunday (12-1) before I had been charged. I called the 1-800 number again. I was now told that cancellations are not actually possible if you do not call within ONE hour of placing the order. There was nothing they could do and Id have to wait for the ring to arrive, go back to the location to pickup and return the ring.I never received a call, but found an E-mail in my spam box saying the ring had been delivered (12-4) so I went that evening to take care of the return. They seemed very confused and one lady was a bit rude as I tried to explain what I was doing. I now have to wait 3-5 days to get my money back.Its the holidays, I understand the people in the store cannot be 100% and honestly I have almost no complaint there. But the cancellation policy, the first telephone reps ignorance of their own policies, and the extra trouble of going back to the mall to pickup/return the ring seemed extremely unprofessional especially for a mass produced ring that was not custom. I wont go so far as to say avoid this location as there were some helpful caring people, but if you have to order online and are not 100% sure you may want to wait.

The ladies at the Zales inside Lakeside mall made the store feel so welcoming. I didn’t feel like I was bothering them with my questions about the process of fixing my ring. Great job on recruiting these ladies!!
Roberto really did a great job meeting my needs and making the experience pleasant! From out of town and needed a box for the weekend to propose with my rings, can’t thank them enough!

My husband and I went to Zales on Black Friday at which time he purchased a diamond bracelet for me. We did not have the actual credit card with us at the time as it was laying on my kitchen counter. They pulled the information up and we purchased the bracelet. Two days later I opened the envelope to find my new card and a $100 off coupon for my next purchase. Since I had received the $100 off before I purchased the bracelet I figured I could apply it to the purchase I just made. I called Zales customer service at which time it took me 9.2 minutes to get an actual human on the phone!!! THEN after explaining what I was calling for she placed me on hold for another 2.1 minutes only to come back and tell me she didnt know the answer and to call the actual store it was purchased at!!!! I called the store and explained about the $100 coupon. The manager proceeds to tell me since it was a black Friday sale that the coupon is no good. I read the back of the card which said good for regular, sale and clearance items. He STILL said it would not apply because the bracelet was a black Friday deal. I argued and read the back of the card again to him. After going back and forth he said to bring the card and he would see if he could apply it! My frustration is I called both customer service and the actual store and neither knew an answer! Makes me want to close the account!
My husband bought my wedding ring from here. To expect great customer service is to expect hell to serve ice water. On one of the many occasions Ive visited, one female rep was speaking to an older customer. The way she handled the older lady customer was disgusting. You should never speak to an elder like that, dont you have manners? All because the elderly woman had a lot of questions. I almost stepped in but my husband asked me to mind my business.
I purchased an engagement ring from Zales. It was sent off to be sized and i was told i would be contacted when the ring was ready. A few weeks later i received two emails stating that the ring was ready. I called the following morning and the lady i spoke to confirmed that it was ready and could be picked up whenever i was ready. I went straight there after work just to be told that there was a mix up and that it was not ready. I was then told that it would be ready the following Monday. I asked Are you sure it will be ready? The answer was Yes! Well here it is, the day i was told and i call and it is not ready. I asked to speak to the person that sold me and told me it would be ready and conveniently she is not in today and they are unable to tell me when it might be ready. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

My engagement and wedding band set were both damaged during resizing and two diamonds fell out. This store has terrible customer service and has lied to me and my fiance. Do not trust this branch to help you or care about you, they only care about sales. The only good thing about this branch is the manager.
