Good grocery with very nice employees. Prices are high but of great quality. Especially their peeled gulf shrimp! I recommend this highly!!!

What is it you want from a grocery or market; friendly courteous service, enough stocked items and low prices. Well, two out three aint bad. The Prices are commiserate with the quality.

The sign on the door says masks are required but few people were wearing them or wearing them properly

Staff is friendly. I ordered a pan of cornbread stuffing. Its so delicious! Im not a regular shopper here, but would definitely shop here more if it was closer to me.

Pretty much devoured this salad from the salad bar. The chicken was tough though. Could barely chew it.. and it was ice cold. It is a salad bar but sheesh.. who wants to eat chicken thats cold? Other than that it was good :)

Im a customer service specialist, and I recognize good customer service when I experience it, and ALL Robears employees excell in customer service, in my opinion !!!

They have pretty much everything i need and have a great bakery too. Their cakes are great and reasonably priced. Great hot bar too.

Unfortunately, my experience on 10/30 was not so pleasant. While standing in the check-out aisle to the side of the Coffee Bar, I tried to order a coffee w/Alyssa. I was told I couldnt order coffee from that side and I needed to get in the line toward the front of the Coffee Bar. There was no line; one lady was standing at the counter placing her order. Alyssa then turned to me to take my order. When asked why she made me move for no good reason, she completely ignored my question. I walked away. After checking out w/my one food item at a nearby register, I went back to the Coffee Bar to look at her name tag. She smugly turned to me and said, My name is Alyssa. An incredibly rude individual.

The salad bar is wonderful, and the cashiers are always so friendly!

Was turned away today because I would not where a mask. My ego was hit a little, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that is what makes America great! I cant force them to serve me and they cant force me to conform to their rules... I can just go down the road to Rouses! Although I will not shop here anymore, they have great chicken salad and the store is always clean... so for those who dont mind conforming, I do recommend!

I’ve been trying to patron this place since they opened in 1994. Throughout the decades this place is an overpriced congested store with consistent slow service from employees with 0 social skills. The hot bar is $7.50 a pound for food cooked earlier and left in a hot line the remainder of the day. I prefer driving past Roberts for Rouses or Economical.

I would give it a 5 star but I was treated poorly by the kid behind the customer service counter at check out. I called and spoke to the assistant manager hoping that he gets some training in how to speak to and treat your customers because I really like shopping here, its very convenient.

Some of the items are rather pricey. And the store kind of smells funny (not in a good way). But all the staff I personally encountered have all been really nice & helpful. I only shop there occasionally & my experiences have all been good.

Cashier was too busy on the phone then was annoyed with me when I pointed out that she over charged me.

Bryson and team never miss a beat... Great hot food bar and excellent customer service

Love shopping here. Fabulous backery and salad bar. Great wine selection. Great steaks! My husbands favorite. Do not like the door way entrance. Most Grocery stores have a little square of knobby things at the entrance but here the entire doorway is covered. It is very difficult to get your cart in and out over these bumps,!!! I love the store but I only go when I just need a few things. A hand basket works good and I dont have to fight getting a cart in and out.

The manager/assistant manager is always courteous and helpful, most of the employees are courteous and helpful, MOST, sometimes when I go in there, I have come across rude employees. Their selection always seems to change and they are a little more expensive than Rouses, but they are convenient. I usually only go for quick shopping trips when i only need one or two things.

They have the best fried catfish anywhere and a pirogue display of large boiled shrimp. Large salad bar has boiled shrimp and several chicken salad options.

Roberts itself is a decent market. It has a variety of hot foods and general groceries. The only con is that they are a little overpriced. One of the workers, Mr. Bryson, has a poor and nasty attitude towards both the customers and other employees. He makes the shopping trip very uncomfortable.

Nice family owned grocery store. The new led lighting has made the store much nicer and its easier to see. Some prices can be a little high but its worth it for the convenience.

Small and older building. They have all the same stuff that the bigger Roberts have, but crammed into a much smaller space. Parking is pretty bad during peak hours. Staff is very friendly though, and the fruit and produce is very fresh. Good place to grab hot lunch as well.

People dont usually write a review unless theyre complaining or have an axe to grind. I purchased a turkey breast dinner for my elderly Mother and I for Thanksgiving and we found it to be very delicious. Thanks to the people at Robert for a very enjoyable meal with plenty of leftovers for several more meals.

Roberts online delivery service is excellent - cutting edge in the Metairie area.The selections are practically a complete match to those found in the stores.Their delivery fee is extremely reasonable and orders delivered the next day.One of the managers, Brice, goes way beyond and above the normal service expectations to insure his customers are well taken care of in Roberts rapidly growing online service.Being a New Orleans native, we all knew Roberts as market with high quality stock and gourmet level in-store prepared food.Now I had to move to Seattle for work, leaving my cherished (90 year old) mother behind until I can get things ready for her to move here.Robert online service has made it possible for me, with great reliability to ensure she gets exactly the foods she wants on a timely basis.There was a computer glitch which delayed my mothers monthly order, but the manager of this location, Brice, took care of it personally and got it delivered when promised.This is just one example of the type of quality of the store managers:I remember one of the managers at this location, years ago, telling me about their new brown rice sushi and its low glycemic benefits. He was really proud of this cutting edge offering for its health benefits.

Its old & ready to collapse. They have fresh produce, very small wine selection. In fact, their selection of everything is small because the store is so small. Interior is dark, dingy & dirty looking. Leaves alot to be desired. There is just no appeal to the store. It needs to be demolished & rebuilt.

Very good bakery and deli. Produce is small and acceptable, I guess. They have a huge salad bar with endless selection of salads and such. Prepared foods is also big. Stay away from the grilled vegetables as it tasted like burnt smoked vegetables. Grocery section is ok. Beverages ok. Prices are on the up side. Theres a coffee shop inside this location

Awesome experience, loved the fresh fruit..Mouth watering now for fresh strawberries, blue berries, cantaloupe, and watermelon..Greatest thing, most of fruit already cut up..Yummy!!

The ONLY reason I come to this store is because I live close. Their food (particularly their produce) is never fresh and they are overpriced compared to other groceries in the area. I got kale from their salad bar once and I literally gagged it was so nasty. They do have a PJs in this store which is convenient, but the girls usually working it are pretty ditzy and it is often difficult getting their attention/getting them to ring you up. Management and employees are friendly enough (sans coffee girls), but other than that, get your groceries at Rouses or Whole Foods. I find that I usually have a better experience at other locations in the city, but avoid this one if you can.

Nicer supermarket, nice hot lunch counter & coffee bar inside. Better than your standard grocery store, but not Whole Foods level upscale. Just a bit hard to maneuver sometimes, its a bit cramped with products!

When you pick up a bbq chicken trey for a party and take a bite into a completely frozen piece. Then try defrosting 1 and it turns to water is one thing. I get it not everything is perfect. But when you get no apology and complete attitude from the manager when you ask for your $23 back. Really? Thats when I have the problem. So I rate this store with 1 star.

I have a love hate relationship with Roberts. I love that this location is a great local neighborhood grocery, I hate that everything here costs a $1 or more than Rouses (which is already a $1 more than Walmart Market). I just cannot fathom why they think their markup is on their items is justified.They have a huge fresh salad bar, and a good wine selection. Theres a ample floral selection if you need to buy some love with flowers. The grocery itself is small, dont expect a lot of brands to choose from, but you will find at least one of everything you need.They also sell lottery tickets... which you may need to win to afford shopping here.

They wouldnt honor a price they had published in a newspaper ad for my elderly Grandmother in the cold. They rather post retraction and put up signs than just give people 4 -12pks of Coke instead of the 3 they intended. Its a mistake that couldve got them business but theyre turning customers into angry review writers...

A bit on the spendy side, but a good grocery with friendly employees and cakes that are beautiful. Large parking lot, but very busy strip mall.

Not sure if Roberts is under new management but the customer service is non existent. The last 3 times I have been there was a horrible experience. First time at the deli the girl Darlene argued with me when I tried to order prosciutto said they have never sold. I of course had bought it there before. Second visit to the hot foods I stood there for exactly 5 mins before the 3 employees that were standing in a corner talking and eating finally acknowledge me from a far, they never came to the counter and I had to yell that I wanted 5 pieces of catfish. They finished their conversation then got me my fish. Just got back from Roberts to buy steak and fixin for dinner tonight and the cashier never said 1 word to me. I said thank you and still not one single word not your welcome, have a nice day....NOTHING. I live across the street and have shopped there for over 30 years. Guess I need to drive to Rouses!

They are accomodating however they cant keep cashiers for some reason and are too high on some prices.
