I went in to buy a new holster for my Sig p365xl, as my current one just feel apart with no warning. Sales guy fixed it for me. I ended up buying a much needed cleaning kit, that I had a hard time finding anywhere else.Great place! Friendly staff.

Don’t let “discount firearms” fool you. This places prices are crazy. Ruger American Go-Wild camo $700, Stripped AR lower $150, Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2 for $1100… 30-40% OVER MSRP, when at other gun stores they are generally UNDER MSRP.

I would not recommended going to this shop to get a gun. If you order online to them, no problems. If you want a reliable, American made gun, you will not find it here. They had 6 12 gauge shotguns. 2 were in consignment and horridly over priced. The other ones are Turkish made and bad quality. Almost all guns other than a limited quality of pistols are overpriced and used. I went to another shop 4 miles away with an ENORMOUS amount of pistols, shotguns, and ARs.

I purchased an AMT1911 from these guys and addmittedly my knowledge on firearms was very limited. They knew it too and they sold me a gun that wont reliably fire. I took it to the range for the first time and couldnt get through one mag without a malfunction. I went to the store to see what the problem was, and since it was sold to me like that if i can organize a refund or a trade. I paid 700+ dollars for this weapon. They couldnt fix it and the best they could offer me was 240 for a trade. Putting me 500 in the hole. I went to another gun shop with a friend of mine and the other place literally fixed my gun for FREE and then cleaned it for me. Needless to say Im never coming to Jefferson again.

This place is a prime example of everything that’s wrong with the gun industry right now. They are literally charging more than double the price for ammo than the three other shops I frequent. Absolutely disgusting to see a box of 9mm target rounds prices at over $50!! Out the door. No thanks I’ll go to one of the three other shops who also have it in stock and pay $24 for the exact same thing. Might as well spend $50 and get 2 for the same price Jefferson Gun is charging. There’s no excuse for this other than price gouging and greed. It’s not like they don’t all obtain the stuff from the same vendors.

Hidden Fees and will exploit those they believe they can.Confident and knowledgeable gun owners should have little worries. Also customer service and calling is nearly pointless.Also a few rude employees, not all but a few.Ps: They also regulate your rate of fire while in the range.Possibly another way to try and exploit more time for more money

Always a great experience and service. Bought my suppressor and they helped with paperwork and all went well. When it came in they even helped attach the quick connects that I also bought from them for several rifles.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would.I have shopped at this store numerous times over the years. However, since they moved to Airline Hwy., Ive noticed a shift in the way they treat their customers and the way they go about selling guns in general.Their prices have gone from being mostly competitive to mostly over priced. Their used guns (current production guns, but used) are often priced within $50 of brand new. Also, even though its a given that they only pay a fraction of the guns price (on used guns), they flat-out refuse to negotiate price.Most recently (today), I called to inquire about the price and availability of an NAA Pug. The clerk who answered the phone said that they did not have it in stock, but they could order it. Fine. But, when I asked what the price was or would be, he said, look, were really busy here today. If you want a price, youre going to have to come in. We dont have time to give you a price over the phone.So, let me get this straight.... YOU dont have time to answer your customers MOST BASIC OF QUESTIONS - like how much it costs - BUT, YOU WANT ME TO DRIVE TO YOU TO FIND OUT???? You want me to jump through MAJOR hoops (your customer) but, you dont want to jump through a VERY MINOR hoop?? VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!Needless to say, I, like others, will never spend another dime with these idiots! They OBVIOUSLY dont want or need my money.

This place was amazing. Im from Chicago and I never felt out of place. The owner made us feel comfortable and was extremely helpful. He was also hilarious. We came with a party of 13 and we were inexperienced, worst of all we made no reservation. But not too worry, we barely waited to shoot and our shooting instructor, Sean, helped us every step of the way with good vast experience. We were outsiders, and we felt like we were at home there. The facility was clean, safe, technologically saavy and spacious. My friends and I can not recommend this place enough!!!! Go shoot and have fun at a great price. PS, spend a little extra and get the WW2 package. My best man shot and does not regret it one but. Thank you guys for the memorable experience.

I shot a 9mm on 5-16-20 with a few friends and was there around two hours, when I left I was charged for a 50 round box of ammunition for a 40mm. When I went back in(a few min later) he was rude when he saw the receipt in my hand. He also blamed me for the charge and said that he could not refund me my money. This man was also rude to several other customers while I was there. I can’t see myself or my friends going back there.

My wife went in to purchase ammo for my birthday. She asked for generic range ammo for plinking, for both 5.56 and 9mm and she specified she wanted ball/FMJ. Shes not a shooter really, but she had called my cousin and asked him what she should get me and he told her what to say. She ended up being sold 9mm Seller & Bellot JHPs for roughly 60 cents per round, and steel cased rifle rounds for 60 cents per round. In what world are 60 cent JHPs plinking ammo? And who sells steel cased ammo for 60 cents per round? I found the same steel cased ammo online delivered for half the price.

In my experience, customer service and pricing here is sub par at best. FFL transfer prices here are ridiculous, and there are far better ranges to chose from, such as NOLATAC.

Not a huge store however, you can find a little bit of everything. The good news is, if they do not have what youre looking for they will order it. Friendly knowledgeable staff! They accept FFL transfers and credit cards. For an outlet store, prices could be a little more aggressive! Overall, a great place to try and buy weapons in Jefferson Parish.

Replaced firing pin in a gun i own... i wanted to test 2 or 3 rounds before i paid the 20 + dollars to shoot at their range....NOPE 20 + no matter what.... this was at 11 a.m when they opened too.... nobody was in the lines...Not the gun range for me if i cant even make sure the weapons im working on actually work before they charge me....

I went here on the recommendation of others. I didnt leave with a gun but I left with valuable information. I had to wait a minute or two because I was the 3rd customer with 2 staffers helping other customers. They spent a great amount of time with each person to insure their questions were answered. Great place! They advise people on what type of gun you need (I bought 5 guns there). Just very friendly and nice people who know what they sell and use what they sell!

I ordered a lower receiver online and had it shipped to the store. I walked in and started browsing through the handgun collection. By the time I made it halfway around the counter, a salesman asked if he could help me. After I explained to him what brought me to the store, he went to the back to retrieve my receiver. Before he made it out of the counter area, another salesman grabbed the background check paperwork and walked over to explain it to me. After I filled out the form, another salesman called it in. I was walking out of the store ten minutes later. Gotta love the South. The staff treated me exceptionally well. I forecast a great expansion of my gun collection in the near future, and I will tell all of my friends about this shop.

Bought my wife a .380 here for Christmas. I originally went in looking for a .38 snub, but they were very patient with me and actually sold me into something slightly less expensive that was perfect for her. I shopped around and actually got it for $20 less than the other two places in town that carried the same model. Im not what youd call a gun enthusiast, and they didnt make me feel stupid for not knowing a ton about guns. Highly recommend it.

Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and happily willing to answer any and all questions you may have. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes.Ive purchased directly from them, as well as did an FFL transfer/background check for a firearm I purchased online. From the time you decide what you want; filling out the application, the background check, and any other paperwork is handled in less than 10-15 minutes.Not to mention, extremely competitive prices! As well as they carry pretty much all supplies and accessories that you could ever need.

If price gouging had a location then this would be it. I only send transfers over to that place and occasionally make a purchase.

If you do FFL transfers here (buying online) expect an attitude, also expect to be ignored if they dont like your face for some reason. They tried to charge me $20 for a card board box when they literally had a mountain of them in the back. They also charge $50 fee for transfers, which is also appalling. Only reason they get 2 stars is because they have a nice varied variety of guns. Though the prices are all hundreds over MSRP, and the attitude the employees gives you certainly wont make you want to dish it out.

Absolutely THE best equipped gunshop in NOLA area. New, used, hand or long arms, they have a good selection. Outstanding selection of handguns. NFA and suppressor sales too and theyll assist with any needed paperwork.By far the best indoor range in area but not rated for rifles. Clean, well lighted and more importantly, well ventilated. A great place to bring your mate or a date. Many female customers observed in multiple visits.I am not affiliated with this company, but have purchased from them many times. Have used transfer services often. Not perhaps the best place to sell a gun (they have a strict profit margin imo) but after factoring shipping, transfer fees, etc, their prices are competitive. And they have LOTS in stock.

Over pricing guns and I was sold a dirty gun. people who work there have no customer service nor professionalism. If you dont know anything about gun they will take advantage of you. I was sold a dirty rusted revolver Taurus 809 black revolver 38 special and not only was it over priced but I also was given really bad bullets for my gun. Recommended one of my black friends to go there and they were racial profile not knowing they are cops but I for one will never recommend or buy a gun from this place ever again until they get rid of that bad attitude and bad customer service and trying to get over on people...

Do not recommend this place, full of crooks stay away. I purchased a hand gun here and as I was filling out the papers on the gun; when a clerk (light skin,dark hair, heavyset, wearing thick eye glasses) who wasnt helping me, thought I was not paying attention proceeds to switch out the price tag marking the weapon I was about to purchase up an additional $40. Luckily I saw him across the room, and decided to go with the same handgun different color but old price before he could scam me. Stay away I would recommend Academy or other retailers before this place.

Really great place yall, the staff was awesome and thats normally not the case for some gun shops. They were very patient with me and let me take my time and compare quite a few different options back and forth to make sure I really got what I wanted, no rush at all, and that is a very big deal when selecting something you choose to protect your life and others with. You will spend more time in this store then you intented XD.

Very nice on the range side. Everything is shiny, new, and automated. Very nice viewing area, plenty of room. It is a little on the pricey side, espescially considering their sister range down the street for about $5 less a lane. But voverall had a real good experience here. Will be shooting here now and again.

Theyre only getting 2 stars because they have a decent collection other than that itll been 0 stars..Ive never had a transfer done here but come on $50 for a transfer?thats just ridiculous..also a while back I brought a db15 ar15 pistol for way above MSRP and I was short $3...THREE DOLLARS on a $800 sale and they refused to work with me. I had to drive 15mins back home to get the $3 and drive back to pick up my gun.I own a small buisness and I know its hard but with online shopping nowdays,you have to work with ya customers or else youll lose them..I try hard to support local mom and pops businesses because I am in that group but if theyre unwilling to work with ya then Ill order online and have my guns shipped to a pawnshop where its $20-$30 for the transfer

Worst customer service! They were more worried about unpacking the shipment they just got in than helping me. I stood at the counter and got passed by at least 8 times while they unpacked stuff not one of the four people even stopped to ask if I needed help, or even acknowledge the fact that I was standing there waiting to be helped. BTW it was only me and one other person in the store. So I finally get asked if I need help I say yes and ask my question. The answer that they gave was a short nope, and right back to unpacking. There wasnt even an attempt to help me find what I was looking for just a move along and get out of my store now. I would not recommend this store nor will I ever return.

This used to be my go to gun shop for the simple fact they where knowledgable and have great variety. Not anymore! I went to the location looking for a part for my AR (noveske flaming pig). One of the salesman who recently assisted me with an AR purchase of around $1200 months before told me that he could look up the part and order it for me. When he looked it up the price was $129.00 and he told me he could have it in 2 days. He went ahead and ordered it and 2 days later I come back to the location and ask for the part I ordered. One of the salesman grabs the part and I notice a price of $149.99 on the part. I informed him the previous salesman quoted me a price of $129.00 and the salesman went to the back to talk to the boss as he put it. He came back and told me it was $149.00 and there was no way he could sell it for $129.00 he then proceeded to set the part down and ask another customer if he could help them while I was standing there. Unbelievable! It was a part they didnt have, that I specifically asked for and they marked the price up. When I stood there frustrated his only response was that guy that ordered it for you is part time. As if that changed anything. I frustratedly walked out. Having bought numerous firearms from this location I was completely insulted. They will never see a dime of my money again! And I truly liked the place before this.

I love the south!!!!! LolThe fact they treat you the same whether youre buying or not says a lot about their employees. They answered every question I had. Gotta love the prices as well. When I relocate to Louisiana trust, they will be my favorite gun shop.*Update 4/16/19*So after a year being here and now being in law enforcement...I have some mixed feelings about this establishment. Onlytwo benefits are they have Glock Blue Lables in stock vs other stores and they have better opening hours.However if you are looking for blue label Glock guns...go somewhere else or order offline. They are extremely and ridiculously higer than the national Blue Label selling price. I couldve ordered online, paid the transfer fee and it still wouldve been cheaper than what Jefferson Gun Outlet is selling them for. The national price for law enforcement is around 398 before tax. They charge 430.00 before taxes (gen 4 models) and thats not even with night sights. I even asked how much to install my night sights and after buying a total of 4 guns and transferring about 3 they still slapped a crazy charge on it. I understand business but its not that difficult to put sights on. I can do it I just dont have the tool.They explained one time why they had to price them that high and I forgot... however go somewhere else if you are police. This is my last purchase from them.

I️ kindly pointed out Puglias sells CZ’s (to note: Puglias sells CZs NOT at price gouging prices ABOVE the actual MSRP!)
