Have my pool water checked here. They always have everything needed to keep my pool looking great
Helpful staff afew display pools staff fairly knowledgeable on products
Bought our above ground pool about 6 years ago from this company. They continue to be helpful today with pool water testing, vacuuming, and other outdoor products. There poly resin furniture is a little privey but ours stays outside year around and still looks brand new 3 years later
They have the staff and the supplies to do well. What they lack is people who are more familiar with chemicals.
Poor customer service, and staff weren’t wearing masks while assisting customers in the store. It’s a pandemic, not a backyard pool party. If your staff is on the sales floor interacting with customers, they need to wear a mask. I went out of my way to go to your store to support a local business, but I won’t endanger my life to shop at your store. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, to stores that require masks for staff and customers.
After years of no working pool-light I called Clearwater to arrange a service call for their techs to come out and replace/repair the unit. Id spoken with a young lady in detail about the service call, requesting a no-contact (safe distancing) arrangement whereby theyd enter through the front gate and payments etc. would be conducted via phone. And because my phone seems to be quirky at times with calls not getting through, I even left the lady with my wifes phone number to call, in case they couldnt reach me.So the day before, in anticipation of the visit, I made sure the back yard was extra nice - mowed the grass, blew out leaves, swept the pool, added chemicals - it was spotless. Even placed a little sign on the fence where I wanted them to enter as agreed upon.Next morning the techs did their part - came out as scheduled, called me (twice) to say they were on their way, and knocked on the door. But Id missed the calls, and as chance would have it, no one heard the knock, nor (apparently) were they advised about the gate. And as for that other number I took care to leave, they said they didnt have it, only mine.I guess it just wasnt meant to be.
Water testing was quick
Good parking, but hard to get into ate out of, back on the main Street. Store well stocked, but not with what I was looking for. Had a good number of people in store and purchasing items. Prices seems reasonable to me.
I bought a 12 x 17 above ground pool from here. Jeff sold it to us and we are so satisfied with our purchase. They made the buying process very easy to understand and we never felt pressured. They also take the time to fully educate their customers on pool maintenance. They ask that you bring in water samples to test the chemicals so that you can learn how to keep your pool in balance. This service is INCREDIBLY helpful and everyone is very patient with all the questions Ive had.We considered buying a pool online and figuring everything out ourselves but looking back, we definitely made the right to purchase from Clearwater!!
After my first and only experience with Clearwater pools, I can state that there may be some things that they are good at… Perhaps selling pool chemicals, maybe even building a pool, or any number of other things. What they are definitely NOT good at is repairing pool equipment and providing basic customer service.I took a robotic pool cleaner in for troubleshooting and due to screwup’s that they blamed on the parts supplier… I got it back today SEVEN WEEKS LATER. During that time I received ZERO phone calls with a status update.........I had to call them when 7 to 10 days would go by not having heard from them. It was almost like I was bothering THEM. Unbelievable and completely backwards. Finally today I was able to pick my cleaner back up. Whatever minimum expectations I had at this point, they managed to even fail to meet those, when they gave me back a pool cleaner that was twice as dirty as when I brought it to them seven weeks ago. Never even occurred to them to maybe clean the filters as a sign of goodwill since they had it for seven weeks. Utterly frustrating and insured that I will never do business with them again. When I pointed it out to the employee behind the counter… He stared blankly at me as if to say “what do you expect me to do about it?“Nothing. Just like what you did for me the past seven weeks.
When I had my pool, this was the place to go for all your pool maintenance needs !! Fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable staff !!
Always have a wonderful experience sales reps are wonderful
Poor knowledge of pool supplies. Better double check what you buy here because they dont know what you need even after you tell them exactly what you need. Not much training I suppose.
I use to love coming here but service and parts have went way down. They had staff that knew what they were talking about but now its like talking to a scammer. anything to make a buck. sold me wrong part promising me it would work but during install it did not work. threads did not match and was to big like i explained to the guy at the counter but he insisted because they did not have my part in the store. I strongly do not recommend this pool place anymore.
Very helpful folks nice staff theyve always had all the pool chemicals, hoses and advice, even for small above ground pools Tons of inflatables for your pool, busy on summer Saturdays so limited parking Reasonable prices but well stocked
Purchased a new hot tub that leaked. They replaced after 2 months. Now this tub has rotten wood & the bottom needs replacing after less 3 yrs & they installed on concrete. Wood wasnt pressure treated from factory Buyer beware. Dont recommend!! Anybody recommend a repair service????
Sal s and Taylor b were great on helping me select my pool vacuum. Thank you guys so much!
Helpful
These people are not very helpful at all. The staff are severely lacking in knowledge about anything related to pools, which is their purpose of business in the first place. I have been sold the wrong hoses, fittings, chemicals.....you name it. To top it off, the never have any of the items that they previously sold you in stock. Find somewhere...anywhere to do your shopping for your pool besides this place. They will swallow loads of your money on items that you don’t need (nor do they even know how it works) and then act dumbfounded when none of the stuff they sold you works.
Always a good experience. Got my pool water tested with no problem.
Great store..they have everything you need for your pool and they have a very knowledgable staff to help with any problems you may have.
Excellent service, they know their stuff. Obviously its cheaper on line, but to make sure you get right parts, this place rocks!
Always find what Im looking for! Staff is very helpful and friendly!
The one star is for the service. The spa we bought 4 years ago was beautiful and we loved it! In March this year it developed a leak. They came out and the tech said it was the motor and theyll try replacing the gaskets but thats not always successful, so we should order a new pump in case. Three weeks later they come out again and put the new pump in. I asked about just replacing the gaskets and this tech told me that cant be done and the pump needed to be replaced. There went $800. He left after putting the pump in. When I asked him to stay and see if it leaked he said no, everything is working fine. Nope - it continued to leak. They came out again. This tech found things werent tightened down on the new pump. He tightened them and left; again no check to see if it was still leaking - it was. They came out again, this time a tech helper. He couldnt find anything - still leaking. They came out again. This time was the tech manager. He couldnt find anything, but for another $500. they would flip the spa on its side, remove the foam and take a closer look. Maybe theyd find the leak that way. My husband and I decided that that was the end of pouring money into Clearwaters pocket. In my frustration i said just take it away. I was told theres a disposal fee for that! Were done with Clearwater.
Always friendly employees, they can answer any questions you might have. We love our pool!!
We setup an appointment with ClearWater to move our hot tub to our new house and they never showed up. We had people waiting on them for hours. We tried calling several times when their office was supposed to be open but no one answered. When we finally got in touch with someone she informed us that the movers called out sick and she was too busy to call us. We were left in a serious bind and had to pay another company double the price to move it last minute. We wont be using ClearWater again.
Great pool store with free water chemistry analysis. Pool chemical prices are very competitive.
I have always been greeted with a smile at Clearwater. The people there are friendly and will go above and beyond to help you. Be ready to pay a little more for their products, but expect to get the return on your pay through good service and quality products.
Just left from there with a great friend, Tamela Fox that has purchased from them for her daughter Brooklyn and you dont know HOW BLESSED WE ARE WITH THE COURTESY AND SERVICE WE GOT FROM THEM... SUCH A GENIUNE BUSINESS!!!! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY GENUINE PEOPLE... MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THE BUSINESS YOU RUN!!!!!!!!
After going down the street to another pool store and being over charged and sold product I didnt need I went to Clearwater and they solved my problem much cheaper. They are great to deal with.
If for no other reason, go in and check out the top of the line massage chair... FANTASTIC...
Verey helpfull. Fixed my cleaner on the counter. My cleaners wheel came off the sales man got two screws from the back and put on the cleaner and I was on my way. Verey nice place great service
Friendly and knowledgeable staff and worth the longer commute to get some peace of mind.
Great service they have what you need to fix up pump or filter
Excellent attention.
Mask on, social distance, helpful staff
Under NO circumstances should you use these people to Fix ANYTHING!!! I brought a leaking hot tub pump to these folk I was told the seal was Bad. I paid to have it replaced and brought the unit home and installed the pump it leaked worse than when I took it in. so I removed it and took it in again the told me that the seal they installed was bad and put another one in. I reinstalled the pump and it leaked again. So back to Clearwater. This time I was told I my Volute had a very small creak in it and it needed to be replaced along with new Impeller and a seal. So after that work was done I reinstalled the pump and it still had a slight leak. But I ran the tub for an hour to see if things just might need to seat. But after an hour it still was leaking. So back again. This time they told me the impeller was burned up and the seal was destroyed,so more money and another repair and it still is not working 5 months and 250 bucks down the drain because these people dont have a clue
The kid behind the counter didnt know Jack about heater parts ask for a flame sensor he brings me a ignitor ask for the woman in charge knows her stuff
Great help lots of good information
Really need more parking spaces.
Best im the Metropolitan area.
Friendly employees, efficient service and a good experience in total. Just know that its not cheap.
Quick and efficient service with a smile!
Great supplies
They had exactly what I was looking for.
Unorganized, lack of communication, only care about sales. Lied to me (a lady manager, wont say names) and gave me the run around over a spa cover, probably because it is through a separate company and they do not make money off it. Take your business somewhere else.
Amazing service, the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable
