Tire change 4 tires. Went to shop at appointment time. They took 3 hours to replace 4 tires.They have done good job replacing tires at budget price. Seems store is super busy. If you leave your car for 3 hours, make sure you have something planned for these 3 hours. Maybe it’s normal for tire change. Next time, I will take it to place where I could do shopping while they change tires, or take a book to read with me.

Amazing service. I had a flat tire and made an appointment for the next day (they did have same day availability but for my schedule the next day worked better). They are polite and took my car in for service right on time. They practice social distancing with the 6ft apart markings on the floor so everyone felt very comfortable. I got stranded off 287 on Saturday night. I live in PA. I spoke to Mark on Sunday after having my KIA towed there. He was very friendly and professional. Monday I had to stay another day in a hotel. John went out of his way to take car of my car, alternator and battery. The guy who did the repair was very nice. They took very good care of me and got me back on the road. Guided me what to do when I got back in PA. Honest and professional.

My car nearly broke down on the parkway. fortunately I was able to make it to this Mavis location in Metuchen, NJ. John brought me in right away (fortunately they werent overly busy at the time). they analyzed the issue and told me what the problem was and had it fixed in no time and the price was more than reasonable. I dont know how anyone can give this location negative stars when they treated me (a stranded stranger) as well as they would treat a regular customer. I brought my car to this location after a year of barely putting any mileage on my vehicle (due to working from home during the pandemic), and I wanted to make sure that it would be safe to start driving the vehicle again after a year of neglect.Mark educated me on what was necessary, and I particularly appreciated his honesty about what procedures would NOT be necessary at this time when I asked about them. He did not try to sell or push anything additional, which was appreciated.Mark called me ahead of time to caution me that on this windy day, a utility pole up the street had collapsed. He made sure I arrived safely at the location and helped provide directions to avoid the closed off area. All I can say is thank you and great work!

I visited this place an hour before they were going to close and Tommy was able to accommodate me right away. I needed a new tire balanced and mounted on my 2021 Audi Q5 and while other shops kept telling me to come back since they were closing soon, Tommy didn’t hesitate over the phone and told me to come right in. I was in and out within 30 mins. I totally recommend this place.

THE WORST customer service i have seen in a long time. Staff didnt recognize you upon entering and barely recognized you after approaching them. One rep. actually complained to me about being overworked and understaffed, then walked away saying send somebody up; while another employee just glared at me from behind a glass partition. And I had already been in the showroom for more than 10 minutes... looking around. Id sooner walk than give these people $$$. Its one thing to have had a bad day, supposing the staff did, but their behavior was almost comical.

Overall great service, reasonable prices. needed a replacement battery for my 2015 camry, and wanted to DIY at first so asked a bunch of questions which the tech answered patiently and thoroughly.knocked off a star just because they did not pick up the phone or let me know when it came to the quoted time to pick up the car. also had to wait ~20 minutes before anyone came to the counter.

I have been going to this shop for more than 10 years (back when it was Suburban) for a wide variety of services. I have never had any issue until today. I brought my car in for oil change and asked them to check on the engine because it made some noises. I arrived at 9am and told them please get it done by 11:30am as I need to work at noon. Finally at 10:30am, they told me I need a new belt and pulley. They wrote $250 for both belt/pulley and oil change plus tax on a piece of paper. No formal itemized invoice. I regret I didnt take a picture of the note with the cost I agreed to because they took it back. Finally at 12:30pm, I asked them what was going on. They told me they ordered the wrong part and I would need to wait another 30 minutes. They finally finished my car at 2pm! They told me the total cost is $340! What happened to $250?! I tried to argue with them but I have no proof of $250 stating for both services. They knocked only $30 off! That is not even half! I was exhausted from waiting FIVE HOURS and lost TWO HOURS AND HALF of my wage. I didnt even want to stay longer to fight for $250 plus tax. So I just left quickly. Slow service, lack of communication, and overcharge. The worst experience I ever had.  Needless to say, I am not going to this shop and other Mavis shops ever again.

John is a very knowledgeable, nice and humble guy who helped me and took my car for tire rotation service quickly today morning and also checked brakes, wipers and shocks for free, all staff are very decent and helpful, I will recommend my friends too for this service center.

I needed a tire repaired. Very friendly staff willing to help even though they were very busy.

The service was quick the first time and everyone was super friendly and helpful. I came in with a flat tire which had a nail in it, seemed like a pretty easy fix. The first time I went in, they fixed it up really quickly and the price was fair. This was in the morning, by night when I left work the same tire was flat as a board again. (I was SUPER lucky i had already bought one of those air pressure machines for the car or I wouldve been in trouble). I returned the following morning and they looked at it and said nothing was wrong - my normal tire pressure is between 35-40, the tire was at 24... how is nothing wrong? I showed them a picture of the previous night where the tire was flat and, while they were nice, the mechanic was hesitant to believe me. They worked on it for a while time, let me go and thought it was fixed up. Not even a few hours later and my tire is flat as a board again... I was fed up by the process already, so I decided to go to another tire place where they found a gash on the side of my tire. They patched it up and Ive been trouble free since. While Mavis employees were friendly and nice, I personally wouldnt return here. It was a simple fix that turned into a 3 day ordeal.

Great shop to buy tires from. I was on a road trip and blew a tire. They were able to get me up and running again. Life savers!!

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and the staff never fails to impress me with their professionalism and excellent service.

I got a flat tire while shopping. Stopped at a tire center where I was shopping and was told I needed a new tire but had to wait 3 hours. I went to Mavis Tires, waited about 20 minutes and they fixed my tire I didn’t need a new tire. They were friendly, professional and great to deal with. I will definitely go back there.

Quick and easy service with great pricing

Great service and great price. They weren’t pushy at all and were very reasonable. I was weary at first bc I had been killed by mechanics before who provided bad service and exorbitant prices. However with Mavis, my car was almost comatose and they revived it. I am so thankful because we really did not want to invest in getting another vehicle at this time. Been there twice now for tire issues and both times the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the time I spent there was less than I expected both times.

Charged me to replace my battery when the alternator was the problem. Had to buy a new alternator and a new battery. Refused to refund me for the 1st battery purchased. John constantly blew me off even when I appeared numerous times in person. Hes very nice, funny and crooked. Claimed he had to research it. Over a year now and I am not refunded.

On my way to work I hit a pothole that shredded my tire so I had to call AAA for a tow. They took me to Suburban Tire because it was the closest shop. The guys over there really took great care of me and I was in and out in such a short time and for a great price. When I needed to replace the tires on my wife’s car, I went back to them since I had such a positive experience the first time. These guys know what they’re doing and treat you like family. There not out to take advantage like most shops and I don’t have anything but good things to say about those guys. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to everyone for tires and more!
