Liannys the pharmacy tech is the most kind person I have known . She help me to find a vitamin in the OTC section . Also I went back to her to get my Covid vaccine and barely I felt it !!! She is just amazing !!

Pharmacy customer service is nearly non-existent. If you enjoy being ignored or receiving dirty looks from pharmacy staff then this is your kind of place. Ive come to this pharmacy for over 20 years and delt with fantastic pharmacists like Mr Norman and Ahmed to name a few. Since the arrival of a new manager Rogel approximately 12 to 16 months ago, service has fallen beyond flat. Expect long lines of cars at the drive-thru and a line of frustrated customers inside as well. And if you try to do business via phone be mindful that they have caller-id and you can bet to hear pharmacy please hold more times than is reasonable. I can even get into specifics about my order status on the app and the reality in the store, or times when Ive been told that my med would be ready in 15-20 minutes and at 45 minutes when asked for an update that oops they were out of stock and I could pick up my med next Tuesday. Ive called the district manager and complained only to be confronted by the new pharmacy manager Rogel asking did you call cooperate? to which I replied yes I did and I will call them again. I dont see many of the people that used to work there anymore. It would appear that its hard to retain employees when the environment is so toxic. And yes Ive called the district manager and it would appear Walgreens doesnt mind keeping customers frustrated as long as the cash keeps flowing. Im the type that believes fighting the battle from inside the fence, but I have reached a point where my health is more important than continuing to expect any improvement in my neighborhood Walgreens pharmacy. I plan to take my business where I will be appreciated and all you Miami Shores folks that continue to experience this toxicity, I highly recommend to take your business elsewhere also. You know what I am talking about.

The worst Walgreens pharmacy in the US. Rude and unhelpful staff. Long wait times. On 10/01/21 they just didn’t open. No reason given. The Walgreens staff said they don’t know why or when it’ll reopen. It’s worth driving another 10 minutes to find a Walgreens that’s actually helpful. Avoid at all costs.

The pharmacists are absolutely wretched. Poor customer service and they’ll tell you the prescription is ready in 1.5 hours all for you to have to wait another hour and not even have your prescription in the system. I understand people have bad days, etc, but this isn’t a fast food chain… this has to do with people’s health.

What happened to this Walgreens? Use to be good and now no one works there. Its a ghost town. I have placed an order for 1 5x7 picture 2 times and never received an email notification that it is ready. Go into store sorry system is down send the order again when you call to follow up they cant find so leave you on hold until the line cutsoff.Shelves also empty. I guess they are short staffed so cant restock quicker.

1 star only because I had too. The Miami Shores pharmacist does NOT care. Worst experience trying to get anti seizure medication for my son this past week. Do you guys just not care? Is it your culture? Are you too big too care? I will do everything I can to never have to use Walgreens again.

Worst pharmacy ever! I was a client for 20 years after I decided I deserve to be treated with respect and care. They have the rudest people working there and your prescriptions take forever because the don’t have them in stock! I moved all my prescriptions to Publix Pharmacy and I’m absolutely happy with how nice they are and that they always have any prescription I may need. Don’t wait to make a change. It is your health we are talking about.

Dont bother scheduling a vaccine here unless you want to be ignored by the pharmacy staff for over an hour. Absolutely ignored as if invisible. Worst customer service I have seen in a long time.

Every month is a repeat of the month before. My medication is out of stock. The medication is in process. There is a problem with your insurance. Your doctor needs to prescribe something else. Never had any issues for 20 plus years at this location until the new pharmacy manager showed up. Unless you enjoy your stress levels being off the chart, do yourself a favor and stay away from this location.

This location is horrible, no costumer service oriented, management must be missing at all time! The pharmacy is even worse ….. unbelievable!! Change location if you’re in the area, go to Publix or CVS on 79th!

This locations pharmacy NEVER has items in stock! The whole point of being a neighborhood pharmacy is to serve your customers at times when they need medicine the most ! Will start driving to CVS where there is never an issue…

This is the first time that I ever post a negative review. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, and I move on. But this case deserves attention. I have been a customer at this location for over ten years. The new staff of the pharmacy lacks the fundamental skills required to assist customers. Dont just take my word for it. If you are in upper management and reading this, I suggest you call and pretend to be a customer. Contact me after an let me know how it goes. This is a perfect opportunity to clean house and, at a minimum, hire some staff with common courtesy.

Not reliable. Especially with insulin. I always order and come to pick it up when they tell me and they never have it. Always say not we will have it 3 or 5 days later. Look like it is a big mess there.

I have to agree with everyone here on this thread. Based on my experience trying to get a scheduled covid test I arrived at this location 4:15 p.m. based on Google map history and was told by the pharmacy staff the Covid technician ALREADY LEFT FOR THE DAY and there was nothing they could do even though I showed them my Google map history proving without a doubt I arrived on my scheduled time on time and that this is unacceptable. Whats even more pathetic with this location is the unempathy and inconsideration attitude I received when they told me nonchalantly that they are sorry not sorry the technician left for the day as if this is some joke not keeping to the end of the appointment when I was on time. This place is an absolute joke and should be condemned. Frankly places like this completely make sense as to why the pandemic in Miami is so bad. These people should be fired.

Although the staff at this Pharmacy is friendly, the wait to be helped on the phone is extremely challenging. When you call you get put on hold and the employees come back on the line every 3 to 4 minutes to place you on hold again sometimes youre on hold for 15 to 20 minutes. At times they come back on the line and once you take the time to explain to them what you need, they put you on hold again. They rarely come back to the line as you start the looping a been put on hold someone answering you to hold again and so on. In the process you may end up getting a continous ringing until the line eventually disconnects. When you call back after this happens, now you get a recording that there are one to two people ahead of you. This is an ongoing issue with this store. I understand theyre very busy now because theyre doing covid-19 through the drive-thru but they should have some type of procedure in place to take care of the phone, the walk ups and the drive-thru in a timely manner so neither one is holding or waiting 15 to 20 minutes.

I ordered pictures through the Walgreens app and I even received an email saying that my order was ready for pick up. When I arrive, the lady said that my order didn’t exit. I did not appear in their system, not even with my phone number, nothing ! I asked if I could send the pictures and she could print in the moment for me, and she says “ I can try but the person in charge of the pictures is not here”. I said: “it is not my fault”, then she answered “it is not my fault either”. And she left. When she saw me leaving she asked if I had sent the pictures. I said I don’t have time for this. How is it possible that she answers a customer like that. Well I finally left because I was so upset. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered pictures online through my Walgreens account. I received a confirmation email and then an email stating my order was ready to be picked up. When I got to the photo counter the woman said she couldn’t find any record of my order. I showed her the email and the confirmation number and nothing. I asked how that is possible and she said “it happens sometimes”. She seemed annoyed that I was even there. When I checked my account online to investigate, the status said it had already been picked up. So yeah, I guess someone out there has my personal photos. Do yourself a favor and do not order pictures from this location. The employees do not want you there and it seems that even if your pictures get printed they might sell them to someone else. They suggested I place the order again, really? Waste of time, so no thank you.

I refer to this Walgreens as Dantes 7th Circle of Hell. Awful. Do not go here if you can avoid it. They are always too busy, behind, unorganized, and inefficient. Every time Ive brought a prescription, Ill eventually receive a text its ready, and then theres a problem w/ your insurance. Your prescription delayed. Huh? Theres always some problem, with them, the insurance, the doctor, but they wont call you or affirmatively resolve it; you have to come and find out theres some confusion and fix it yourself. Although I like the Walgreens database and overall network, this particular Walgreens will drive you absolutely crazy. If you are sick, you will get sicker. Its the most convenient for me, but Im done here. DONE.

Pharmacy is terrible the gentleman that is in charge over there is rude, disrespectful and he never seems to be happy to speak with customers. Never had more issues than dealing with this location. Walgreens should definitely consider restating the pharmacy with someone who respects their brand.

Terrible store! This is the WORST Walgreens! Terrible customer service. The lady at the register kept looking at her phone and she didnt want to bag my items. The on sale stickers were put on the wrong items and the shift leader was very rude to me when I asked her about items on the weekly ad. Im never coming back to this nasty store.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered prints for a school project to be picked up Saturday night. I didnt get the notification for pick up until Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon went to pick them up and they cant find my pictures. She said shed reprint and I could come back to pick them up. I came back the next day... cant find my pictures AGAIN or that my order even existed in the computer. She said Id need to reorder them online. I did but this time to another Walgreens. They werent ready until the following night at 9:30pm. Went to pick them up.. no photos or record of my order, despite my order number. Now its 10pm and my kids school project is due in the morning and I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Despite ordering them 4 days in advance... RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!! No one at either store even acted like they cared or even made a slight effort to try and resolve the issue.

The manager was so rude I was asking her to her and she left and went to help other customers.

Unlike the other shoppers who had visited this Walgreens, my main concern wasn’t with the pharmacy. It was more off a problem with the employees. Not only did the manager give us an attitude when we asked about our ordered product, we called the next day just to be transferred 3 times and put on hold for about 15 minutes. Next time will choose better Walgreens.

Everyone at cashier and beauty department was always very helpful, there was an old senior that was very attentive and sometimes helped me on the photo, but its been 3 times that Ive waited and stressed for the photo person to come help me. Last time took me over 20 minutes just waiting on the lady to come give me prints.Unbelievable

Aside from the fact that it may take forever to check out, this location is usually open at the most convenient times and has most products youll need in stock. Prices seem to be a bit inflated though, and sometimes there are panhandlers hanging out in the front of the store. Theres also a liquors conveniently within the same building separate from the main store.

The staff at the pharmacy was rude and careless. They kept us waiting for 30 minutes because they needed to check on the insurance but then they forgot about it. I’m not coming back again ever. After what happened and spending at least 45 minutes for nothing... I went to Publix and got my preescription in 10 minutes. What a difference!

The pharmacy is run by the most inapt people Ive ever come across. When I asked if they have a medication they would not tell me unless I presented them with the prescription. That works well in a city that doesnt have millions of people in horrible traffic. Their customer service is terrible and the pharmacy and pharmacist apparently have no idea about being courteous and helpful.

I havent felt this unwelcome for long time!Came in 11:45 to pick up some vitamins and was first blocked by entrance with lady with broom.After asking if they are closed she let me in.Also walking past isle i was asked if i am going to restroom that it is closed?!Like what i am getting vitamins and in a store for a purpose.More angry looking staff cleaning at every isle looking very unwelcoming.Left 11:49 and they went after me looking if there is any car left and closed early.Do yourself a favor and shop at Publix next door or CVS!

The pharmacy is a joke, you wait for 10 to 15 minutes only to find that the prescription you thought was ready wasnt. They may have problems with the insurance not wanting to pay for the prescription, but if you pay the full amount they can give to you. Or the prescription has expired and they say the doctor has not responded to their calls. Checking with the doctor they claim they hadnt received any calls. Either way, They dont call you if there is a problem and then they want you to either call your doctor or your insurance company. After many years filling my prescription at Walgreens and seeing the service get worse, Ive changed all my prescriptions to CVS.

I am trying to confirm status of my order ofr printing pictures. Nobody answers the phone, the voice mail of this outfit is not working, I tried to call 5 times and I get the same broken message. Ola Walgreens, wake up, the 2019s have arrived, you snooze you lose. There are other options available, around the corner.

The Miami Shores pharmacy is a disgrace.I reordered a prescription for my mother on Jan. 24th. The automated prompt say to pick-up Jan. 25th, but it was not ready. I call on Jan. 26th and was told that they do not know if it is ready., I asked if she could check, and she replied that my mother, who has level 5 Alzheimer’s needs to approve me talking to her (I’ve been picking up and putting in prescription last five years).She replied in short, too bad.Walgreens does not understand that people depend on them. My mother can’t asleep without this medication, consequently I will not asleep.Plus, if medications was denied or they can’t reach Dr., why don’t they contact us.Poor customer and care service.
