Very bad experience. Buyers beware. They false advertise pricing. I ordered a front lipFor a 997.1. The price was advertised for around $600. 2 weeks later after a ton of excuses they told me their vendors price was double. I told them as a reputable business they should honor their advertised price. They would not. I own a business and if I made a pricing mistake it would not be my clients fault. Thats just bad business. E commerce is big business. If you cant get your pricing right with your vendors maybe you should try a different type of business! This will be filed in small claims as both false advertised and consumer fraud.

I recently had Vertex complete a rebuild of my 1987 Porsche 911 3.2 motor. They did a fantastic job. The engine came back to me better than I could have expected. They took the time to completely disassemble and clean everything prior to rebuilding, which is no small task in an air-cooled 911. They replaced the pistons and cylinders and the turn around time was roughly 3 weeks. Now the engine runs and pulls the way that it was intended to. If youre looking to have your air-cooled engine rebuilt, Vertex should be your first call. Absolutely first class all the way. Thanks Vertex for a great rebuild.

I own a 1982 Porsche 911sc with 287,000 miles. I take great pride in my 38 year old classic Porsche. A good friend recommended Vertex Automotive in Florida. I live in Virginia and had never heard of Vertex but I am so pleased with their uber professional Service Parts department. I spoke with Sid in the Parts department and he agreed to rebuild my original (no longer produced) 1982 French Bosch Warm Up Regulator (WUR). The Bosch WUR controls the Porsche restart cycles and is critical to smooth operation. You can see by the pics that my WUR was in bad shape. The rebuild WUR is stunning and has completely new internal parts. Vertex even supplied a few extra parts. The whole job was very reasonable priced and I truly appreciate efforts. I was looking at buying a used Porsche from a near by large Chevy dealer in the Miami area. Only I live on the west coast of Florida. The Chevy dealer said trust me the car is good. I searched for a nearby certified Porsche shop to perform a pre-purchase inspection.Best money I could of spent, I was very lucky to meet Wayne over the phone. Sid in parts is invaluable!!! The only place a Porsche owner should buy parts from. On my 993 Sid told me about an updated part used for a turbo model that solves a problem I was having with a bad bearing going bad in my cooling fan. These guys know Porches, I never knew a parts counter guy that was a mechanic and is updated on all aspects of the car. Not only that Sid is sending me the schematic.

I brought in my 99 Porsche today and had an amazing experience. My sun-roof was giving me problems (stuck open) and Wayne helped me close it when he could have very easily recommended I replace it like 9/10 mechanics would have in this town. I then went around the corner to the Vertex Parts locale and Carlos gave me some great advice that will save me a great deal of money. After searching on many sites to find a possible fix for my 2010 Panamera bearing support failure, I came across Vertex auto. I can honestly say it was one of the most rewarding and easy experiences I’ve had. I looked at their drive shaft support mount and called them to see if this would fix all of my issues. They explained to me how their upgraded drive shaft would save me a lot of money as it didn’t require to disassemble my current drive shaft. Great guys! Great products! Definitely recommend.

Brought my Porsche C4 in for the IMS replacement. Wayne over charged, lied about everything getting installed, left transmission bolts out and blew an O2 sensor. I took it to a different mechanic and they immediately saw that the transmission bolts were missing, o2 sensor, etc but also Vertex didnt put any of bottom plastic panels back on and left a sway bar completely off. Wayne blamed it on someone else and was a nightmare to deal with and on top of that they over priced everything an never offered a discount for their terrible work and customer service. Lastly, Wayne wanted to break my window when my key fob wasnt working and wouldnt unlock. I got AAA to unlock the Porsche WITHOUT breaking the window. Why would Wayne go straight to breaking my window?? The problem with the key fob? A dead battery. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

Recently purchased 1987 3.2 G50 from Joel.The guys there are very knowledgeable, Their on line photos and representations are honest .The purchase process was quick and easy. The minor issues i.e window switch and loose bushing in gearbox (to be expected on a 31 year old car) were addressed and repaired no charge same day. I would reccomebd them to a friend and I will continue to do business with them in the future .

2004 Boxster S 550 engine rebuilt, rear axle rebuilt, Schnell performance exhaust all completed here. The car performs and sounds better then new. Jose the service advisor was extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable. I met the owner Gilbert and Wayne the chief mechanic whose enthusiasm and knowledge was beyond exceptional. I was interested in a classic Porsche for sale in Miami, Florida and I live over 1000 miles away. A pre-purchase inspection (PPI), which is highly recommended, was mandatory as I didn’t have the time to travel to check it out. After some research I selected Vertex Auto to do the PPI. Wayne at Vertex Auto performed the PPI, and it was very thorough. Wayne sent me about 85 high quality pictures along with a very detailed written description of the car. Wayne was very professional, pleasant and prompt in all communication. The PPI indicated the car was in good condition. This was an accurate report as when I took the car to my local Porsche dealer for a state inspection their very thorough inspection stated no serious problems with the car. If you are interested in a used Porsche in the Miami area I strongly recommend you consider Vertex Auto to do the PPI.

I got a 81 911sc allmost a year ago from them. Im glad I got it through Vertex. Love the car but Im pretty sure if I had gotten it from a private buyer I would be miserable right now. They alwasy take care of me and do it fair. They are highly knowledgable, I noticed in the repair side they hold US patnetds on parts (not an easy thing to do). In general its just a good enviroment. Ive been searching for an Amazon Green 964 for awhile and 2 happened to come up at the same time in Miami. I had them brought to Vertex for PPIs. Living in the NorthEast and trying to buy a car long distance is stressful enough, but working with Wayne was so easy. He was very accommodating and was able to get both cars in within a day. The PPIs were comprehensive and he took his time to do them correctly. Took my Maserati in for a service after I was assured that they are a certified service provider. After I dropped the car and left, I get a call that they can do the service but they dont have the computer to turn the light for service off. Some story about not having the computer to do it which is $13K and so on.. I go pick up, its $500 for an oil change, the bill does not itemize the work performed, even the car model is not correct on the invoice., and oh yeah they wanted me to take the car back so they can take to another place and have the light turned off for another $150.. Well, I did not save over the actual dealer in service, and I was not about to be taken again. Took the car to a neighborhood garage, and this unassuming guy with a very typical computer connected and reset the light for me for $50. Take me once, shame on you, take me twice, shame on me.

Vertex did a PPI for my 996 cab that I purchased and had shipped. I’ve done several PPIs for Porsches I’ve bought (or looked at buying) and theirs was by far the most detailed. Wayne took lots of photos, had a very comprehensive write up done, reviewed potential repair costs, and talked me through the write up.Additionally I’ve bought Schnell headers, EPS clutch kit, EPS roller bearing from them and their customer service department is great as is their shipping times.All in all, great Porsche Specialists who I would highly recommend.

I shipped my 1999 911 from Pensacola to Miami to proactively fix the potential IMS problem. Vertex was absolutely great in keeping me informed and explaining what was needed. Replaced IMS bearing with their cylindrical bearing, clutch, water pump, etc and wiring issues. Got the car back in two weeks even with it holiday season. Brought my car to get a quote on an issue I had they told me it was the air oil separator that needed repair. They told me they would need to to keep car for 10 days, take the engine out, and that it would cost me $2500. I brought the car to a porshe specialist for a second review and he told me it was only the valve cover that needed to be replaced. The guy charged me a 1/3rd of what the thieves from vertex wanted to charge me. Be very very careful

I would like to share my recent experience with Vertex Auto of Miami, Florida. The name of my business is Reid Vann Import Service and I have been in business servicing European automobiles for over forty years with the emphasis on Porsches.I purchased a rebuilt 996 Porsche transmission carrying a one year warranty from Vertex Auto 7/27/2015. The transmission was installed and the customer picked up the car on 8/7/2015.March 25,2016 the customer brought the car in for regular maintenance and he stated that the transmission had started jumping out of 2nd gear.We contacted Vertex and they stated that they did not have a replacement ready at that time but would have one soon. We returned the car to the customer to use until they could get a replacement. After repeated calls to Vertex, we were told in May, 2016 to remove the transmission and they would send the replacement. It was 2 weeks before the transmission was picked up. Another two weeks passed and we hadnt received the replacement transmission so we called to find out why we hadnt received the transmission and they claimed we hadnt returned the defective unit. When we pointed out that they had arranged the pick up of the transmission, they agreed to look for it. Another week passed before they claimed to have found the transmission. They stated that they would get the replacement transmission on the way. Two weeks later we hadnt received the transmission so we contacted them again and were told that they would not warrant the transmission because it had been raced and abused.My shop manager relayed this information to me, I called and asked to speak to George, the man my shop manager had spoken with. He was never available to talk to. After 4 or 5 attempts, the lady answering suggested that I should talk to the man in charge of the transmission shop. When I spoke with the shop manager he insisted that I not interrupt him while he ranted about how my customer had abused the transmission by racing the car. When he finished, I began explaining to him that the customer was an older man who did not abuse or race the car and that the only reason the original transmission was replaced was that the pinion bearing was noisy. At this time he became abusive and accused me of trying to commit a fraud, threatened me with legal action and slammed the phone down.I had my shop manager call and request that the transmission be returned to us so that we could use it as a core to contact another company about a rebuilt transmission. They assured us that it would be returned immediately. When it hadn’t been returned after a week, I ordered a replacement transmission in order to get my customers car back on the road.We repeatedly tried to call Vertex to determine when we might get the core. Vertex would not answer the phone. After 2 weeks of this, we decided that they were reading our phone number and ignoring our calls. My shop manager then called on his personal phone and the phone was immediately answered. He asked about our core and was told that the transmission would be sent within the next week because it needed to be reassembled and as they were busy with other customers, they hadnt had the time to put it back together. About 2 weeks later we did receive the core transmission.My company has been a good customer of Vertex so I find it particularly vexing that they would refuse to honor their warranty and their rudeness and threats when I attempted to discuss the matter with them.

VERTEX IS A RIPOFF!!!!!! Vertex ordered a rebuildable Porsche Cayman S 3.4 core motor from me. These are extremely rare to find. I had one that I pulled out of a car that I drove into my shop. It had a blown head or head gasket. Otherwise it ran fine. I told them I would take $1500.00 for it. They said OK. I put it on a pallet and loaded it on a truckline with my forklift when I met the truck driver at my shop. They said they would pay me when they received the motor. A couple of days after they received the motor I called them. They said, Oh yeah, we will mail you a check today. the next morning they called me and said the motor was Junk. I told them there was no way, that I drove it into my shop and it was a good motor except for coolant in the oil. I have been doing mechanic work over 40 years and if the motor would have been junk I would have sent it to the scrap yard, not put it into inventory They Text me picture of their customers motor that had been blown up and tried to tell me it was mine. They never sent me a dime. THEY ARE LIERS AND THIEFS!!!!! THEY DONT PAY THEIR BILLS......DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS........i AM IN THE PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA AND TELLING EVERYONE DONT GET RIPPED OF BY THESE CLOWNS LIKE I DID..... They are a LIAR AND THIEVES>>>>>>>>>>>>

I feel bad having to do this, but these guys really dropped the ball. I ordered 4 fuel injectors online on Thursday, July 23, 2015. My order was accepted and I got an email confirmation that said pending, then nothing. On Monday we called and were told the order was being processed at that moment ( obviously a lie ). Tuesday July 28 another long distance call and I am finally told they dont have and cant get my injectors. Why does their site take orders for out of stock products and why dont they inform their customers ? Thanks Pelican for saving the day, I should have gone to you first.

I called several places for a part for my car. I became discouraged when one treated me as if I was talking gibberish and another quoted me double what my mechanic had told me. Then I found Vertex Auto. Charles knew exactly what part I needed, sold it to me for half of what my mechanic offered and had it at the shop in two days! Thank you Vertex! (incidentally - my mechanic is now buying from Vertex as well!)

I ordered from them 3 times each time the part was either wrong or broken! I ordered tie rods and they sent the wrong ones, they sent new ones that were still wrong! I ordered two axles and one came broken(terrible packaging for such a heavy object) they sent me another one and guess what they came broken! Never again am I ordering from them.
