Best bait shop in Miami. Been treated like family since the day I walked in when they first opened. The owners of this place are great people and always willing to go the extra mile to do what’s best for their customers. Store is always extra clean and organized no matter what the time of day is. They’ve got the best stock of rods, reels, and baits in south Florida for sure. Check them out if you’re ever in the area.

Yesterday was my first time here. What a special surprise! I had no idea this little gem of a shop existed. Theres only one big box fishing retailer in town their fishing department stinks and nobody is around to help. Not at JD. I was promptly greeted and escorted around the store well equipped for a day on the water. They had everything I needed and a few things I didnt realize I needed

There had been no fishing store near by in a long time and now they came out with the fishing store, the owner is always helpful and since they have fisherman hours they are always open for the next time you go fishing. Great variety and very friendly staff every time you walk in always asking what is needed.

Jd outdoors had amazing service and was super helpful with picking out our rods for our fishing tournament on Saturday. They knew all the right stuff. And staff was very friendly. 10/10 will come back!!

JD Outdoor Adventures is such a welcoming place. They have everything you can think of and it is not just a bait & tackle shop. They really have thought of everything you would possibly need. I love how they incorporated a womens section as well. Definitely will be coming back soon! Highly recommend.

Legit place. Lots of merch. All size line, hooks, lures, live bait, though at the time i only saw shrimp. They have frozen too. Fridge full of beverages, and i think i even saw some spear gun equipment. A really good place for the avid fisherman. The parking is not great though.Update:The fact that they replied with an explanation of the small negative aspects that I reviewed made me give them another star. The parking really isnt an issue considering the shop is so well rounded. As for the live bait; it only makes sense that they will have whatever the fishermen bring in and the ocean provides. I recommend this shop to anyone serious about fishing. Tight lines everyone!

If you love to fish you have to visit this store. It is nicer than bass pro shop and the variety of products is excellent. Prices are fair and the service is friendly. They have various types of live bait and frozen bait. They have ice, beer and coolers. Boat and engines as well. Take the time to see this exciting new fishing store in Miami. Amazing shiners!! They were huge!! I bought 3 dozen of them and caught a fish on almost every shiner. My biggest peacock bass is 10.9 lb and was caught with those shiners! AMAZING!!!

This shop is the real deal. I came across them by chance. Just a simple google search for a local bait & tackle shop and I have been hooked ever since. JD’s has a variety of items at very reasonable prices, they carry live bait, drinks and even sell boats! It’s basically a one-stop-shop to meet your fishing needs. The best part, they are that family mom-and-pop (more like father-and-son shop) we would all love to have at the corner street. They helped me set up my first fishing rod and even fixed my line when I (naturally) got it all tangled up on my fishing trip. I go to them for pretty much everything now.And of course... the staff! SO incredibly helpful. Wow is all I can say. They truly go above and beyond to help you out. Really. Every single staff member has gone the extra mile to make sure I purchased the right item for me. And trust me, I ask a lot of questions! Which speaks miles of their patience lol

I had so many questions and I spoke to Dameon on of the employees and he answered all of them. I was so happy with my product and I got a great discount. Amazing customer service and as myself being 13 I am very glad that he treated me as I was an adult. I went here 3 months ago and I cannot stop. In 2 weeks I visited 6 times and they are always happy to see me and even have ordered products that they don’t carry for me and even gave me a discount.

Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had inside a bait shop. My son and I came to Miami to fish the canals for peacock bass. They made the trip for us. The family that runs this place are the nicest people and the shop is top notch. We spent three days down there and went in all three days. Thanks guys.

Good customer service, we bought some bait which was not in good condition, but the biggest concern is that not all staff wears masks and they do not enforce customers to wear mask, even though they have a sign outside saying so.Additional comments in response to store answer: we were in the store at least 30 minutes last wednesday, during all that time there was a customer without mask talking to a female employee at the counter and there was an employee replenishing products throughout the store without a mask, it was very uncomfortable.

Wow wow wow! You will not find customer service like this anywhere. ANYWHERE!Jesus hooked me up with my dream boat - a custom LT 25 with some specs I hadnt seen on any Gheenoe yet! I was talking with my friend Heiko about wanting an LT and he mentioned Jesus, the owner of JDs and gave me his number. I sent a text the next day and was on the phone with Jesus. He led me through all of the option and gave me advice based on his experiences with his LT. It was nearing Christmas and even with the looming holiday, Jesus modified one of his orders and I had the boat delivered to the Keys by early February. This boat is a dream. An absolute dream. Jesus was patient with me and allowed me to come hang out at the shop and go over his stock several times and was always prompt and honest with his responses and recommendations. An A+ business man.When my boat was delivered, Continental sent a trailer with a light that died. That night, his tech Juan came down and fixed it for me so I was able to put the boat in the water the next day. I am humbled and beyond proud to sport the JD Outdoor Sticker on my boat. I owe so much to Juan that night. A complete professional, while I was being a neurotic mess to get on the water. Fixed it up and I was good to go.I sincerely thank Juan and Jesus for what they have done for me in such a short amount of time, they have revolutionized how I fish and did everything they could to get me on the water, I am truly grateful.Not to mention, the tackle selection is bar none. For someone who fishes the Everglades and the Keys regularly, their tackle selection is bar none the best and if its something specific you are looking for - they will find it. Great little local shop. Feel of larger stores with a family atmosphere. Parking is difficult and the convenience of the location for the local residents is passed on in the prices but worth it to me. I will be doing business there again!

We stopped by on the way to the keys to grab some supplies before a fishing trip. Super cute store, and the store owners are nice people. They have a little boutique section that I fell in love with. The boys loaded up on bait and supplies and I got myself a new cover up, glasses, headband, and a little hand sanitizer (smells amazing) for our mini vacation. We will definitely be coming back.

I stopped in just to get some 60lb floro, and ended up talking to the employees about fishing and getting tips for like 45 min. These guys are great and the store has everything you need. Definitely recommend!

This place is much larger inside than it looks. They have a great assortment of fishing and boating supplies and offer assistance to customers. They even have bait and beer, wine and snacks.

I have worked retail specifically in the fishing industry down here in South Florida for over 15 years, The service these guys provide and the knowledge that they share with their customers is second to none.

Saw their ad for gheenoes online and I had to stop and check them out. I felt like a kid in a candy shop here. Theres so much to chose from...salt...fresh and fly. I didnt expect to have my fly setup serviced but I could immediately tell o could trust these guys. My setup is very sentimental to me and I wasnt disappointed when I was called when everything was finished. I was invited to a fly fishing get together.... Ill definitely be back.
