Had a problem with both engines and an out drive. Ben did an excellent job on the repairs at a fair price. Had me back in the water quickly. While repairs were being made a hurricane was headed our way and Ben secured my boat and ensured nothing happened to it. So if you are in need of great and conscientious repair service there is no better place than Ben at Boat Works Miami.
Excellent and prompt service. The 300 hour service was completed when promised. Ben made sure to communicate in a timely manner what was required. Would definitely recommend his service.
I took my 2003 four winns inboard to replace the gimbal bearings and U-joints. It was an extremely complicated job to do. Took the boat on a wednesday and it was ready in two days. The result was impecable. The communication was excellent. They made sure I was aware of every detail that was being done to my boat almost in real time, via text message, photos/videos etc. Ben takes pride in his work and makes sure that quality is always #1. If he finds other things along the way that should be fixed or serviced he will raise it. He was very honest with his recommendations. If it’s not really necessary he will let you know. Never felt forced to do anything. He speaks loud XD but very friendly guy and knowledgeable. Overall, very happy with their service and will recommend it anyone.
I took my Monterey 295 with engine starting problems. Ben was very professional from the beginning. Did my work within 2 days and kept me informed at all times with videos as well. Gave me tips on how to care for the boat and kept on checking with me after the work was done about how the boat is doing. Will recommend everytime.
Ben and the crew at Boat Works Miami did an incredible job squaring away a starter R&R, to include extracting the bolt that had sheared off in the engine block. Very concise, direct and timely coordination. Work was completed 3 days ahead of schedule and at half the cost originally quoted. Ill be coming back in the future.
Good guys, hardworking, easy to talk to. Did the tune up for me and some repairs. Somewhat overpriced. Was charged for some parts that never got to work - was promised a follow up and a fix but after 4 month it’s safe to say it won’t be done. Had to pay over 2k to another mechanic to complete the work. Cannot say that I will ever go back.———After the post above, Ben reached out to me to clarify the miscommunication. I appreciated the fact that he cared to rectify the situation. To make it clear 2k mentioned above was not to repair Ben’s work- the other mechanic pointed out an unrelated separate issue of leaking manifolds.
Ben has worked on my 2005 Four Winns a couple times now and I am very impressed with the turnaround time, the straight-forwardness, and of course what matters most, resolving whatever boat repairs I bring to him. Ben does a great job explaining in detail what the issue is and does honest work, I am very pleased the quality of Boat Works.
Ben and his team at Boat Works Miami are lifesavers. They took my boat in immediately and identified my issue within minutes. Got the boat back the next day and they even provided wash and wax service at a very fair price! Boat Works Miami is my go to boat repair shop and I highly recommend them.
This place is the only place to take your boat if youre in the area. They dont only fix the problem, they check for where the next problem may come. It probably saved me thousands. They were more worried about my boat than I was! Thanks so much Boat works Miami.
I highly recommend Boat Works Miami. Ben and his team are incredible mechanics that have an immense knowledge. They worked on my 02 Searay Sundeck and fixed everything that was wrong with it. A++++
Boat Works Miami is a no nonsense operation. Unlike most mechanics in Miami, Ben will tell you exactly what needs to be done and more importantly what doesn’t. He’s handled regular engine service, a few mechanical problems, some fiberglass work, and an electrical install without any fuss. He charges a fair hourly rate and most importantly, I trust him to get the job done right.
Fantastic service, incredibly knowledgeable, bent over backwards to help. The prior review in my name is not me, I had all my data stolen and people posted bad things under my name all over the country.BoatWorks is THE BEST ANYWHERE!!!
Bens Boat Works is the only shop that answers their phones and returns calls consistently, for Miami thats a big statement, I cant say the same for any of the other 10 shops I called. He is quick to address concerns and make sure the contractors do what theyre supposed to. Cutlass Bearing got done a day earlier than expected, another big statement for Miami.
I don’t know what I would do without these guys. I was nervous finding a shop to maintain and repair my new Super Air Nautique G25. My buddy Dan recommend Ben and his team and they are keeping her good as new. They are honest, professional, and best of all their work is impeccable. Couldn’t recommend more.
Boat Works is one of the best boat repair and service shops in Miami. Ben is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Ben and Sergio did a fantastic job in finding and resolving a tough issue with our Yamaha 250 4 stroke and recently completed a service. These guys are legit!
I found this place driving down 79th st. Gave them a call and immediately felt like I was talking to someone with boat knowledge. When it was time to drop off my boat we reviewed everything and he was very reasonable with his pricing and honest on what is necessary. Ben and his team are great, and I am so happy I found them and they gained a lifelong customer!
By lifes pure randomness, I was referred to Ben at Miami Boat Works for service and some minor repairs on a Yamaha outboard, and now the boat now lives happily ever after :)Ben had me in and out in under a week!! he kept me updated on a daily basis, even took my calls on the weekend.Best part, he didnt beat me to a pulp on price like the other big boat companies out there like to do. I walked out with a clear invoice, with a full breakdown of every tiny part and what went into the labor.Long story short, whether you are in a panic because you just hit bottom and dont know what to do or you simply need a reliable and honest marine tech, Ben from Miami Boat Works is your one stop shop!
Ben and the team at Boat Works Miami do a phenomenal job at maintaining my Amizut 74. They are always responsive and really care about the work they do. I had an engine issue on a Sunday morning and Ben and his team stepped in and solved the problem in professional and expedient fashion. They consistently do whatever I need to get out on the water and I am extremely grateful for their service. I will bring all future business to him and his crew.
Very professional business and reasonable prices.
Boat mechanics come and go but not Boat Works. Dealing directly with the owner Ben is great and he is always reachable. Got me and my family out of a bind late one Saturday afternoon. I recommend him to all my friends with boats for all their needs. Washing waxing repairs and even heavy maintenance. I would give 6 stars if I could
Ben has always been very attentive toward my nautique and always goes the extra mile to keep me happy. It’s been 10 years now and I can’t thank him enough for keeping my boat in the water and making sure I’m a happy customer!!
These guys were amazing! They picked my boat up at my house for yearly maintenance and dropped it back off. Did a great job cleaning it! Showed me some additional issues with my engine and knew the verados very well.
BWM responded in a reasonable amount of time, and was able to narrow down the problem quickly and solve it. I usually try to resolve these mechanical steering issues on my own, but their expertise definitely paid off. Id recommend to a friend.
Could not be happier with my experience. Engines were giving me issues and needed some new NAV hardware installed. Boat was picked up and returned within a few days. Ben was attentive and stayed in constant contact. Worth every penny. Thanks Miami Boat Works !!!
Ben and the team at BoatWorksMiami are great to work with. Ben took the time to walk me thru the list of items that needed to be fixed on my boat. He was honest about where I should spend my money and did not try to encourage me to do unnecessary work as other shops have done in the past. Most importantly Boat Works Miami got me and my Contender back out on the water fast and without having to spend a lot of money.
Worst experience and service. Lied about the material they were putting in my boat. They were suppose to put marine glass in the boat and they put cheap plexiglass. After the job during the inspection of the work I noticed it was plexiglass and asked for a refund. They ignored my request and kept all of the money. This was all done by Ben the owner himself. Pay the extra money and go to a professional these guys are not.
Ive referred several people to Boat Works Miami. Theyve consistently been reliable, timely, and provided great quality work.
We recently had to switch boat companies so I figured I’d try BoatWorks. Had to call an employee “ben” 3 times to figure out what needed to be done with the Boat. He answered evertime and was easy to talk to. I was very skeptical but was pleasantly surprised- the work was done on time and well!! Didn’t cut any corners like the previous company. Would certainly recommend BoatWorks miami after my experience.
