I absolutely loved my experience at Brides of Florida! The girls were super nice and helped me find my perfect dress within an hour of my appointment. The seamstress did a fantastic job with my alterations. And my pearl veil was by far my favorite accessory! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you BOF❤️

To start off, I wish I would’ve taken the negative reviews seriously when I made my appointment. I came in with high expectations and a positive mindset that the staff would help me find a dress within my budget at an already stressful time and not to the mention I made a “budget appointment.” I showed them a picture of what I was looking for and what I saw at another store out of town and the employee goes “ so why didn’t you just buy that one?” And I say “well because I wanted to come here.” She then said “well I don’t understand why you didn’t just buy that one ti that’s what you wanted.” This was how my appointment began.. then the staff began to gossip about what they were offering me somewhere else. My appointment was supposed to be an hour and half and it lasted 35 min in total. They never put a veil on me to try on and it was evident that as soon as they found out I didn’t want to spend $1,500 on a dress. I was of no use to them. If you have anything to take away from this post is to not go here if you are expecting decent customer service and mild compassion. Be prepared to waste $25 and time out of your day.

If i could give 0 stars i would! Definitely the worst place to buy a wedding dress. No clue what customer service is.Everyone is rude specially the owner Macky, they will chase you until you buy your dress and tell you is for at a “discounted” price when it isn’t.Please look for another place to buy your dress and avoid a terrible experience during your wedding day that should be very special.

This Shop has absolutely stunning dresses and great staff members. A staff who helped me Keylu, was a wonderful and sweet girl. She was kind, patience and very easy going, which it helped a lot on that stressful day. It was a pleasure meeting her and Im glad I was able to find the perfect dress at this shop. Brides of Florida is a beautiful place with an amazing selection of beautiful wedding dresses. Keylu, my bridal specialist is knowledgeable, professional and made my experience wonderful! She was on point with the style of dresses that I was looking for. I was anxious and nervous going in today, but the care and service we received was exceptional! Terrible. Tears literally came out to my eyes while in my appointment due to the terrible, unhumane customer service. Clearly if you don’t wanna spend $2,000 on a dress, they won’t give you the same service as others and will stop showing you dresses. If you plan on going here, steer clear of Macky, she speaks down on her employees and will speak down on you.

So glad I came here first! I was surprised at the selection of dresses in my budget. This was a one stop shop for me. I got my dress, headpiece, and veil here. Alterations turned out perfect, the staff is amazing and helpful, and Macky is the sweetest. She stepped in to help me when I was debating between two dresses.

Did not enjoy our experience at all. The bride in my party was on the fence about a dress. The sales people were pressuring her so much, as if a $3500 purchase is a light decision to make. They chased us around for 15 minutes convincing her to get it now or never. They came up with ever excuse in the book: the dress might sell out, prices are going up, you can’t come back later and buy it. The store owner acted just like a used car salesmen. Would never go back there. When I told them we had another appointment the next day, they started trashing the other place. Don’t give in to their pressure.

Best experience ever!..I am so happy I choose Brides of Florida for my wedding dress selection. The selection of dresses under “Fit and Flare” fit me like a glove!..The hardest part is picking your favorite! I picked out my wedding dress in under an hour. The staff were extremely nice, everything was perfect. Even under covid times they made the experience so special! Thank you so much!!

I would love to say that, Dani has down is the best bridal assistant ever. Since we met she made feel very comfortable. As a plus size girl I was already coming in feeling nervous after having gone dress shopping at David’s bridal and was very unhappy with their plus size selection of dresses. Dani always had a smile on her face and made sure I felt confident and not let my insecurities get in the way. Thank you Dani 😍 I can’t wait to wear my dress.

We were blown away by the customer service and how quickly our girl Daniella got to know my daughters wedding dress style.She brought out an amazing selection of dresses and Becky the adorable owner kept checking in giving her expertise.We said “yes to the dress “ and are so happy with our experience!!! My experience at Brides of Florida was absolutely phenomenal. I booked an appointment with them because they 1.Carry my favorite Designer and 2. Carry Plus Size gowns. My appointment from beginning to end was flawless. The check in process was easy, the bridal consultant was TOP NOTCH. I showed her ONE picture and she pulled 7 gowns (in my budget ) that made my jaw drop. I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on. Also the owner is very interactive on IG and gives brides so much useful information. Thank you Brides of Florida!

Ive heard great things about this store so I went online to book an appt and I noticed there is a 25.00 fee for going to the store. If you buy a dress then they use the 25.00 as a credit towards the dress but if not then youre out 25.00Thats awful business. I hope the better business bureau does something about this. Talk about taking advantage of customer. I was able to go to another store and found my dress and I didnt have to pay them to go in to their store and get great service.

About two weeks ago I went wedding dress shopping and the person who helped me through it all was Tana, she is just amazing. She went based on the survey they sent for my selected style and of course asked me a couple extra questions. She brought me various dresses to try on that fit into the category of style I had explained. As I was trying on dresses she made it super comfortable and I honestly loved all the dresses I tried on but she would notice little things here and there and would say hmm well you said this about this one lets take that one out so that was a big help for me because I was not able to choose one. She helped me picked out a veil her taste was great as the veil chose really went with my dress. She made the process so easy and comfortable. I truly recommend her, also the Owner was very nice and she accommodated a lot, as soon as we got into the store she introduced herself as was very nice.

Brides of Florida made the wedding dress shopping process seamless! It was such an amazing memorable experience I will never forget. The say yes to the dress at home box is absolutely genius! You have zoom calls ahead of time so that they get to know your style and what you are looking for and then they send you 8 dresses in a box to your house. Tara was my bridal consultant and she made this process so perfect! She knew my style and everything I was looking for and more. She was amazing and I can’t say it enough! You will not regret getting your dress from them!

Horrible experience!!!!On July 10, 2018 I went in with my daughter to purchase a dress for her upcoming Fifteens.On July 24th, 2018, once they had the dress I took my daughter in for alterations. When we went they never took her measurements like I have experienced every where else. They only pinned one side of the dress and said that it was all they needed for the alteration. The seamstress was being pulled from every direction while she was tending to my daughter. My daughter felt rushed and I too saw it.On September 14, 2018 I went in once again with my daughter to try on and ultimately leave with the dress. I was told the dress was perfect and ready to go. I had pictures scheduled for today, September 19, 2018. When I went to get the dress it was all cut up, and uneven. Picture attached. They rescheduled pickup for September 18, 2019 because they were going to fix the dress. When I got there now the dress was short uneven.This caused me to have to cancel wax, hair, nail, makeup, photographer, videographer and location. Their negligence has cost me aside from inconvenience, it has caused me to lose deposits for all these things and all they can say oh Im sorry, people make mistakes. She was arrogant, no professionalism, lack of compassion and ultimately didnt do anything to compensate all that I lost. Aside from all that everyone of her employees kept asking what was wrong and agreed with the fact that the dress was a disaster. As a business owner, I know that the customer is what sustains a business. She has no tact or customer service. With that said she also does not have leadership skills. Her employees should not all be asking me what is wrong, rather have one person address the issue and try to resolve it.In the end, due to lack of time, I had to take the dress even though I am extremely unhappy with the results of the alternations. To make matters worse I was obligated to sign a form saying that I was satisfied with the alteration or she wouldnt release the dress or give me a refund.I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE OR REFER ANYONE TO GO THERE. THE WORST.PICTURE 1 WAS FIRST ALTERATION PICTURE 2 WAS SECOND ALTERATION.

I am not one to write reviews normally but this time I had to share the uncomfortable and bad experience I had at brides of Florida. I had been recommended by a friend of mine about their good prices and variety. The sales lady was professional and sweet throughout my visit. At the end of my trial I mentioned to the sales person that even tho I had loved one dress, I still had one more appointment at another place and she gladly went to write down the information for me. This is when the OWNER came up to me. And very condescendingly said in shorter words that if I didn’t say yes now, I could not do so later. This was after I mentioned if I could just make another appointment to say yes to the dress if I decide on the dress I found that day. She bluntly said NO and continue to try and pressure me into saying yes at that moment or I’d lose my chance. No phone call later allowed, no making another appointment, nothing. Needless to say I did not purchase my dress there. It turned what had been a good experience thus far and possible purchase into a definite no for me. Very unprofessional & condescending in her comments even after mentioning my train of thought and the reason why I wasn’t saying yes just yet. Very disappointed. But happy I decided not to purchase there, as I found my dream dress somewhere else in a place with excellent service.

I pray no one ever has to experience what I had to experience as a first time bride. The customer service was horrible. I, as well as my family felt rushed. We unfortunately purchased two dresses from this company. My second dress from the front to back had completely different details. When I expressed my concerns about the entire experience to the owner Maky. Her exact words were I spoke to the consultant that you worked with and she said it wasnt true. So MY experience was a lie. She then proceeded to say that there was nothing she can do. For such a big brand I was blown away with the customer service. I have two dresses associated with the worst experience I have ever had. Not to count the numerous time I had to go for fittings, (5 fittings for a single dress and 4 for the second). Their seamstress doesnt know how to properly fit a dress, so watch out; because your nightmare will continue through the last very day. The whole experience has been awful, Not a good feeling. Not a place I would ever recommend.

This place is amazing. Ania was an awesome attendant she has been fitting brides for over a decade and knows exactly what would look good on my body. I am a plus size so I was very nervous about finding a wedding dress but she took all the stress away and I was able to find my dream dress in one stop! The owner Mackie has made it her mission to make all brides feel welcome no matter what size and has try ons in every size. I received my dress on time with no stress and everyone at my wedding gave me so many compliments how it was perfect for me! Thank you

This place is amazing! They are soo friendly and helpful. The staff is amazing. The owner is amazing. The place itself is very clean and neat. There is no rush, and they make you feel so comfortable. They even give you suggestions if you want. They are very honest and reasonable with style and price. I truly recommend this place to everyone!

I had a great experience. I actually went twice because of my fault, and they were so understanding and nice about it. Everyone is so helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. They have tons and tons of dresses and different styles. The wedding stylist also helps you narrow down your options, if you need it.

My experience was great, I was well treated. Tana helped me with my dress picking, I was able to find my dress here for just under $2,000 and I loved the majority of the dresses that I tried on (lace form fitting/fit and flare). Tana was polite, funny, professional and made me feel comfortable. My group was offered cookies and drinks. My only con is that you may have to share a mirror room, but other than that I had a lovely time.

Brides of Florida is the best place to shop for your wedding dress. Macky is the sweetest and extremely helpful. The wedding dresses were affordable, unique designs, and absolutely beautiful. I picked a Maggie Sotero dress and I got so many compliments the entire night. I highly recommend Brides of Florida.

Advertised as bridal, prom, quinceañeras and more BUT THEY ARE NOT. They are bridal only. I did not have an appointment but they were quick to send me elsewhere. Poor customer service.

I had a wonderful experience at Brides of Florida when I got married in 2015. The ladies were always so helpful & sweet, they really made the dress shopping experience a lot of fun. Especially Ania (she’s AWESOME!!!) I knew from the minute I laid eyes on the dress, it was the ONE! A gorgeous wedding gown (Ariana by Kitty Chen) and for an amazing price! From the day I walked in, tired after 6 previous appointments to the last fitting the entire staff has been amazing. Brides know how stressful this process can be and Brides of Florida really has made it so enjoyable for me. They have been flexible with dates and times and accommodated all my fittings into my busy schedule. I recommend everyone to try them out! Very happy with all the attention and service I received at Brides of Florida. From sales (Ania was great!) to the fittings with the seamstress to customer service and appointment scheduling everyone was wonderful.I found the one after visiting over 8 different stores throughout south Florida and trying on over 30 dresses. My dress wasnt a quick find and after trying so many different dresses and all different styles, I found the right dress for a great price here!I had to do multiple fittings to get my dress fitting right because of weight loss and other issues with fitting the dress to my bust but the staff and seamstress were patient and were so easy to work with during all my fittings (there were about 4 by the way). They even cusstomized the dress adding material and a belt etc to make my dress a dream.I also had a custom veil done which came out great!I highly recommend Brides of Florida.

Ladies, trust me when I tell you this is the place you want to buy your dress from! I literally went to almost every shop from miracle Mile to Boynton Beach. I don’t know how I missed brides of Florida at first, but I am so thankful I found them, the store is beautiful, their selection is huge, and the ladies that work there are AMAZING! I went through a dress nightmare at another shop because of poor alterations. One of the key factors to picking a dress shop is the seamstress and they have by far the best one. Her work is quality and her attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend Brides of Florida!

This shop is a MUST! I went to this shop with my soon-to-be daughter-in-law. From the moment we stepped into the store it was nothing but a pleasant experience. Although their website is limited on the pictures you can preview, do not be deceived. This store has a big selection of dresses and at different price ranges. Our associate was Tana. She was the best! I highly recommend her. After visiting several shops today we found a beautiful dress and at the right price. Im glad we did not bypass this shop.

I initially went here because a friend recommended it because I wanted to tent my wedding dress, not buy, but they were so helpful! They listened to my every request while showing dresses to me until I found the perfect one. Then for my first fitting I also got a lot of attention, they made me feel at home. I highly recommend this place. Its true they only do fittings on weekdays, but one of those weekdays its until 8 p.m. thank you Brides of Florida! Cant wait to take pics with my dream dress 😍😁😁😁

Worst shopping experience ever. They rush you, they want you to pick Your Wedding Dress!!! In the world’s darkest room. And they expect you to do it in 2 mins. Not to mention, the fact that they have No idea what they are doing in terms of alterations. I had to deal with the owner in order to get my dress to an acceptable standard.

They are absolutely amazing! Literally prices for every budget! They made the experience of looking for and buying so easy! They had so much knowledge about everything and helped me try on styles for my body type that I may not have normally picked! Truly amazing experience and I will recommend them to everyone!

Loved loved loved this bridal store. I will be getting married in November and just bought my dress on Saturday. The dresses here were absolutely gorgeous! I was on a tight budget for my dress and was able to find something cost effective and beautiful. Staff is extremely helpful in aiding to look for whats in your budget. I will be going back in September for alterations.

I love this place so much! Let me say Ive been following them for a while on IG. They have so many amazing dresses! When I got engaged I knew I wanted to go to BOF first before looking anywhere else. Long story short, I had a phenomenal experience with them and they even accommodated a large group of us on a Saturday afternoon but after trying on various dresses I didnt find THE DRESS so I kept looking and purchased my wedding dress elsewhere. Fast forward 9 months later and my wedding dress finally arrives from the other store and I realize as much as I love my dress, it isnt the most comfortable to dance in or even sit! Cue the most epic meltdown....in the middle of a pandemic.... So I decided my best option would be to buy a second dress to change for the first dance/ reception that would have a more stretchy material and ultimately be more comfortable to dance in. Yes, a second dress that would not break the bank and would need to be under 1k. I decided to reach out to Macky (the owner) directly and explain my dilemma. It just so happens BOF was having a sample sale and she confirmed they had dresses in my size (Im a plus size bride) that were indeed on sale. JACKPOT!!! I quickly made an appointment for the next day but tried to not get my hopes up. When I arrived I was greeted by Macky, whom I adore, she is super involved in her business and loves what she does, it shows in every single aspect of her business, she is GOALS, as well as Daniela who would be assisting me in my dress hunt. Daniela was very sweet, not pushy in the least and very patient. She pulled various dresses, they were all beautiful but they were either sized too small or too flashy for a second dress, and none were super comfy as I had hoped. Then out of nowhere, Macky comes with the most spectacular Maggie Sottero dress.....but it was size 14... Im at least a size 18 in most wedding designers. She insisted it would fit because the material was stretchy. MACKY KNOWS BEST! Not only did it fit but it looked great and was 1000% what I was looking for. It was form fitting, comfy, sexy, complemented my shape and most importantly did not upstage my first wedding dress. I can sit and dance in this dress all night long! Best part, I got this dress at the fraction of the price, about 65% off retail price! I immediately said yes to the dress and left BOF on cloud 9! I was so pleased with my experience with Macky and with Daniela! Thank you ladies for saving the day and helping me find an amazing dress for a steal!!!

This is place creates miracles! Absolutely loved the customer service, I never once felt like I could not afford to shop here. I found a stunning dress in my budget and loved the attention to detail the owner and bridal consultants provided. I went through this process by myself since I do not have any relatives here and my bridal party live out of town. Alterations were fantastic and I even purchased my beautiful headpiece from the store that perfectly matched my dress. I recommend this place to any bride looking for a beautiful dress for your special day.

I decided to try Brides of Florida because on Instagram the dresses looked beautiful and I wasn’t sure if I was gonna find a dress or not since it was my first try! And let me tell you the experience was more than 5 stars!!!! If I could give them no stars I would. As a wedding planner I would NEVER refer a bride to this store. My last bride was given the run around since October about when her dress would come in. After giving so many false dates of arrival they didnt even have the decency to call her to say her dress was in. Long story short dress came in on 11/16 she had to do a one day fitting and wedding was 11/24! No bride should have to go through that much stress about one of the most important details of her special day. Dont walk, RUN away from this place!

We purchased my daughters wedding dress at Brides of South Florida. My daughter moved to Hawaii so had to have her fitting and alterations all done 1 week before the wedding. Brides of South Florida came through. Their seamstress a very kind and gentle lady from Chile (forgot her name :() was excellent. One of the owners Macky made you feel like you were at home while you were visiting. Very comfortable, reliable and beautiful dresses to chose from. Location is very pretty and spacious. Thank you Brides of Florida will definitely do business with you again.

CURVY GIRLS BEWARE!!ZERO stars. The business advertises carrying gowns up to a size 34. However, all of their plus size sample gowns are a size 16. So if you’re a curvy size 20 like me, there is no luck getting into a dress that doesn’t have any stretch.After failing to get into two of of the dresses, the shop attendant continued to bring me MORE of the size 16 gowns. Why?! Many woman, regardless of size, are already body conscious. Trying to stuff them into dresses isn’t making it any better.After pointing this obvious fact out to the attendant, she then insisted that I try the only two gowns that I managed to squeeze into on again with a veil. Clearly, her main focus was getting a sale, and not of the customer’s best interest. At this point I became infuriated, and left the shop.Fortunately, this wasn’t my first bridal gown shopping experience. I’ve been to other shops that have provided an AMAZING experience. Otherwise, this bride would have been super crushed.

Brides of Florida is fantastic!!! They didnt have a sample of the dress I wanted, but no problem! They got it for me to try on :) It turned out to be my dress :) I loved it. There were some alterations I wanted done like changing the corset back to a zipper and changing the sleeves. They did it with no problem. Not only was it not a problem, but it was done beautifully. They know what they are doing!!! Also, they are so much easier to get to than any stores on Miracle Mile plus the prices are 100% better. Get your dress there. You wont regret it!!!!

I just went dress shopping on Saturday and I had such a wonderful time... My eyes lit up every time I tried on a dress which has never happened in any other store... absolutely beautiful, unique selection. Hortencia was amazing and gave me the feels being that my mom wasnt able to be with me... I am looking forward to working with this company to make the wedding look of my dreams a reality. Wanted to share what a sour sour experience we had with the very unprofessional owner of the store. She didnt want more than 10 people total in the store due to COVID--totally understood, but even with the 3 folks my sister took to the appointment (all family), it was UNDER 10 in the store. She made it a personal power trip to keep one of us outside when my sister was the onlyyyy bride in the huge store trying on dresses...She would huff and puff at me under her mask when I would stand at the entrance to try and see my sister try stuff on from far away. She was not one bit kind or empathetic about the bride and the experience she made us all have. Why do you work in weddings if you dont care about the client experience? If i would have been the bride I would have looked anywhere else but there because of how unwelcomed we felt. Shame shame shame what you did to this experience. I posted this on my facebook and I had two other brides reach out about their sour experience too.

Brides of Florida is one of the most unprofessional bridal stores Ive ever seen.My sister went to them to choose her gown for her out of town wedding. Dress was supposed to come in at the beginning of January and when we called to check on status were told that it wouldnt arrive to the store until February.Come February, we receive a call stating that she had an appointment to retrieve her gown. We asked since shes coming from out of town, if we could change the appointment time. They responded with No, we are completely booked Fast Forward to Saturday 2/3/18 @ 11am we arrive for our scheduled appointment and the receptionist just hands over the gown. No trying on of the gown, we werent able to even check that the dress being given to us is the one that we PAID for.We were promised a complimentary veil the day we purchased the gown because the person helping us let her choose a gown $2000 over her budget, and for the inconvenience the veil would be complimentary. All of a sudden, that broken promise was empty. The story was that the veil would be given 1 week before the wedding and that it would be rented. We explained the wedding is out of town and we would at least need to CHOOSE THE VEIL before having someone just come and pick one up and we were denied.Your bridal store was EMPTY and you couldnt take 5 minutes to let a bride try on her gown before walking out the door with it? What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment to just be handed a dress and sent on our merry way?If you are considering doing business or even LOOKING at what this store has to offer. I suggest you find another bridal store. ANY bridal store.You have ruined my sisters wedding gown experience. You are the worst ever.

Just went here with my mom and sisters. My little sister was looking for a prom dress. The area is really nice but everyone was staring at us. Being the only brown Hispanics near the store and in it, it was obvious it was a racial/ discriminatory issue. We went inside the store to find out more information and we were completely ignored. This place is racist and the owner is clearly very arrogant and unprofessional. I do not recommend going to this place if you are not white. Thats the harsh truth. They will prioritize rich white people. So if you dont match that exact description then spend your money at a more deserving business who ACTUALLY care about all their customers.

Above and beyond anything a bride could ask for when searching for the most important dress of their lives!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken care of right away by the sweetest ladies ever!! We traveled about 3 hours and had an appointment to look at dresses and hopefully have a better idea of what I wanted and walked out with the perfect dress less than 2 hours later.KEYLU!!!!! KEYLU!!! KEYLU!!!!!She was the most amazing associate ever. She was beyond patient with me and really understood what I wanted and helped me find the most amazing dress ever. We all had so much fun and are so excited to be back and pick up my dress. 1000000 stars.

Brides beware! This salon has horrible customer service and even worst attention to detail. My first appointment everything went great found a dress I loved everyone was so sweet. I payed for my dress right away no issues there. My dress finally arrived so it was fitting time. Everything and everyone changed. The owner Maggie is extremely rude she has zero customer service does not know how to run a business not to mention one that has to deal with people. On my fitting they just had to take in the sides a bit and add cups to the front. I also requested to add some stones to the whole front dress. I came back the next appointment and they had done a horrible job. My dress fit worse than the first time and they put three stones claiming that had taken the seamstress four hours to complete and if I wanted more I would have to pay her by the hour. I simply said that was not what I asked for and asked for it to be removed. The owner has an attitude and little does she know that in that type of business reviews and her attitude make or break her business. She was so rude she even told me when she saw brides in there so many times (5)she started questioning wether it was the bride that had a problem. I told her good thing this is my third time here and its my wedding day I want everything perfect. They even labeled me as special case which I only know because they wrote it on my fitting card! Can you Believe these people? Absolutely no respect for anyone. I had to to practice patience since they had my most beautiful dress for my perfect day I couldnt risk that. I went back to pick up my dress 3 weeks later and they gave me my dress in a dirty packaging. My dress was not even pressed and was full of hair and threads everywhere. Not to mention the veil I rented from them was a disaster. Thank god I opened it and checked it I feel dont of them because it had huge holes everywhere from being stepped on it was broken( they clearly didnt even check it before giving it to me) worst part is.. They wouldve charged me $600 for it claiming they gave it to me in perfect condition!After talking to other brides they told me very similar and even worse stories. Be careful!! Stay away. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

I fell in love with this place! They were extremely helpful since day 1 until the last day I saw them. I couldnt have asked for better service. They have dream dresses for different shapes and sizes. Truly recommend going here! Mackie is fantastic as well as everybody from her staff.

I had such an amazing experience with Brides of Florida for my wedding dress that I would recommend them to any bride! I had visited about four other bridal salons prior to visiting them, but Brides of Florida had by far the best selections of Maggie Sottero and Justin Alexander dresses. Nathalie was an amazing consultant, Id had so many nerves each time I was with someone new because theres so much pressure on brides to look amazing and I just felt so comfortable with her. Trying on dresses can be so scary because youre focused on every inch of your body, but Nathalie explained everything to me every step of the way and made me feel gorgeous in each dress. I distinctly remember that one of my biggest issues was whether to choose white or ivory, and she brought me a dress in each color and was super patient as I spent at least twenty minutes trying to figure out which one was better! In the end she recommended ivory and she was right, it was absolutely stunning. Brides of Florida paid the sales tax for me because I paid my dress in full, which was a very reasonable price, and they didnt even charge me to bustle my dress since it didnt need any alterations! They called me the moment it arrived, exactly 3 months from when I ordered it and the entire process couldnt have been smoother, I even purchased my veil from there as well! If youre a nervous bride, theyll definitely ease your fears and be very responsive to all your needs!

Love this store! They treated me so well when I went to pick my dress. It already came in and I cant wait to start my fittings! The girls are all so nice and they made dress shopping so stress free!!!

Before I went to BOF, I visited 3 other salons where they had little to no dresses in a size I could try, or I was told I had to pay $100 to order a sample in a another size. I’m a 10-12, which I think is about average size.At BOF I was able to try on pretty much any dress I wanted because THEY HAVE SAMPLES IN MULTIPLE SIZES. I was ecstatic! I tried on so many dresses.The area where you try on gowns is a runway, not a pedestal like other salons. With a runway you can see what you’ll look like walking down the aisle. I loved that! Very smart.The sales associate and the owner were very nice and friendly.My only con:I wish there was more private rooms, as I was sharing the main try-on area with two other brides.I’ll update this review once my dress arrives. :)

BEWARE OF THIS SHOPI called for a same day appt and was squeezed in for 3:30pm. I asked prior to the appt, how long the wait time would be I was told it would not be that long. From the minute I walk in, it was extremely packed and was not seen until 5pm. I explained how my starting budget was low but I’m willing to pay more if necessary. My sales person did not explain which dresses to look at that was in my budget so every dress I pointed out was over the budget. When I asked my sales person for something similar but lower priced she said she would ask the owner. While I stood their waiting for a response I heard very CLEARLY from the owner say these exact words to the sales person while LAUGHING “It’s like going to a Louis Vuitton store with $200 and asking for a purse.” Not only was this extremely rude but it was equally unprofessional on behalf of the OWNER of a business. Not only that, the OWNER then felt the liberty to go to the bridal party in the waiting area and tell them that the bride does not have enough money for the dresses she wants and while they are trying to help theirs not much they can do. The OWNER spoke to the bridal party about how the bride is asking for too much without sufficient funds? In what world is it okay for her to go and speak to the bridal party about my finances? I was choosing to not spend that much on dress, not because I cant afford it. Extremely unprofessional on the owners behalf. Horrible customer service.

The store has a large stock of gowns, tried on gorgeous stuff and was not rushed to make a desicion like all of the other places I visited. Got my dress and the alterations were done to perfection for 150 which I thought was a great price for all the work. Cant say enough about this place.. Thanks Girls! You guys are wonderful and my Dress was perfect!

I will never be grateful enough of the store owner who opened the store for me after hours when I forgot to pick up my wedding dress the day before. It is a small place but have a great customer service. Everyone loved my dress. Thank you.

What a terrible business. Unprofessional and shady. They accused my wife of putting a hole in a veil that she rented. Firstly, she didnt put a hole in it. The photographer pointed it out to her when she went to put it on for the first time prior to the ceremony. Secondly, regardless if she did or not, the lady on the phone literally yelled at my wife and called her a liar. I can see how this place has bad reviews. Our biggest regret is not reading them prior to choosing them. Also, plan on coming back AT LEAST 5 times for alterations. My wife went 11 times. Thats fun!

I went in looking for Maggie Sottaro dresses but they do not have the biggest selection. All the dresses that I loved that I saw on the website were not available. I was a bit disappointed but I continued my appointment. Afterwards, I tried on different dresses and I was excited since this was my first time. Though I did love two of them the first sales lady that helped me left me to go with another client and I got a new person. The new sales lady was a lot better and way more helpful but for the the appointment was done. They just want to make the sale and they don’t give me a lot of advice.

Being in the wedding planning business we work with alot of different vendors and this bridal shop is top notch! The dress selection is massive and the staff is phenomenal. Macky is so sweet and professional; & truly has a passion for her business.My soon-to-be wife and I both got our dresses from here and the experience was PERFECT. We both found dresses we love, had our girls with us so they could see us both, but we never saw each others dresses; just the way we wanted it!

Why I DIDNT find my Dream Dress at Brides of Florida:• Although I had a scheduled appointment, I waited 2 hours before I was seen. I understand that other brides with earlier slots might take longer than expected, but a 2 hour wait???• When I expressed a budget, an associate told me that I wasnt going to find anything in my price range, even though they promote that there are dresses for every budget.• The associate who helped me was rude to my bridesmaids and was also not in a happy mood because she didnt sell a dress to the bride before me. Because of this, I was being pressured and rushed to make a decision and purchase a dress.• My best friend was put to work to help with putting on the dresses instead of another associate. At one point the associate even yelled at my best friend because she handed her the wrong sized clip, as if it was her job to know these things.• A family member made a complaint at the front desk and it was handled in a very unprofessional manner. The manager came into the dressing room to finally assist the associate so that my best friend could sit with the others. Then while I was showing my family and friends a dress, everyone who worked there gathered in a corner of the dressing room to point out the person who made the complaint and spoke badly of her. I was then confronted by the associate as to why the complaint was made and it all made me very uncomfortable. She even insunianted that she was being racist to her. It was so awkward.• Although they have many styles, its almost as if their dresses are intended for very thin girls. As an average sized girl, none of us understood why they didnt have anything to offer that actually fit. When I finally saw a dress that I possibly liked, they told me that the only way to see how it would fit appropriately was if I made an order right then and there.• I tried reaching out via email about my experience but never got a response, so Im assuming they dont really care about how they treated one of their possible clients.Just be mindful when going here....after going to many other stores, this place wasnt all that it was hyped up to be. The service was awful.

Macky and her crew are by far the very best in the industry! Omg where do I start? From the beginning there instagram is amazing, which helped me get a good idea what I wanted. The dress I picked was actually one of my inspirational photos. They have soooo many dresses to choose from, with a great range of prices. They have beautiful dress in every price point too. Ania was the sales person who helped me and she is phenomenal. She fitted me into every single dress in the front and the back so I could see the entire dress, not just the front (which no other sale person did for me). Then, she even got a veil to match every single dress that I tried on so I could see the entire look all tied together. Honestly, look no further!!!! Brides of Florida is the best!!!! Love them so much!!!!

BRIDES BEWARE. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Dont be fooled by their instagram like I was. Read the negative reviews and youll notice a pattern that the customer service is AWFUL after you purchase the dress AND that the owner (Macarena) has absolutely no customer service skills and a COMPLETE lack of compassion for bridesMy mother bought me my dress and paid in full in good faith ($1800). When I came to pick it up several months later, I didnt fit so they adjusted the dress from within. I was told that I had nothing to worry about since it was only 3 inches off in the waist so by loosening the dress from within it would fit PERFECTLY. There is a mandatory alterations fee of $200 which I paid at the first fitting. However, they state that they do not charge you anything additional for the dress UNLESS they ADD to the dress.On my second fitting, the dress fit and I was told that NO ADDITIONAL FABRIC WAS ADDED. Great right ? Well, thats when everything went downhill. During that second fitting, my mother and I were paired with an attendant that was more concerned about leaving to go home than tending to the dress. No matter how many times I tripped and my dress DRAGGED on the floor, she did not want to adjust the height. Finally we asked her so many times that she did the slightest bit. As I was walking to the fitting room and tripped once more, the attendant said that I was tripping over my own feet and that I didnt know how to walk with the dress.I called the store the next day and asked to be placed with another attendant at my third fitting. On my third fitting, I brought my mom and mother in law. The breast cups had indents. It was horribly long and dragging on the floor. The sleeves were wide and wrinkled terribly. The shoulders were off center. There was a ball of fabric on the side of the dress that had no purpose there. My mother in law made her concerns very well known and all of the ladies there hated her. Remember how during the second fitting I was tripping over my own feet? Well this time, I was told told that MY SHOULDERS ARE LOPSIDED AND THATS WHY THE SHOULDERS ARE OFF CENTER.I went to a total of five fittings. On the fifth fitting, it was noted that my dress was not symmetrical. The seamstress only took in one side of the dress. Apart from the fact the the customer service had been awful with exception of two people, the dress still had problems! We requested a discount on the dress because thats what companies with integrity do when they provide a defective product.My mom, my MIL, and I went to pick up the dress after hours (7pm) on Wednesday (wedding is on Saturday). This was agreed upon by Macarena and we told her that we wanted to discuss our concerns with her. Tell me how she has a very tall 6ft+ man who clearly lifts weights and looks like a body builder waiting with her. My mom and mother in law are 60 years old hispanic woman. Intimidation tactics much?And now let me tell you some things that she said: CALL YOUR CREDIT COMPANY AND DISPUTE THE DRESS!!! WELL IF WE GIVE YOU YOUR ALTERATIONS FEE BACK, THEN WE CANT PAY THE SEAMSTRESS, YOU DONT WANT THAT ON YOUR CONSCIOUS NOW DO YOU ? The only thing she did was give me back my alterations fee after trying to guilt me that her seamstress wouldnt get paid if she gave it to me. She also tried to make us feel bad by saying that her team worked on my dress for hours and finally said that the dress is not symmetrical because I gained weight after the first fitting and thats why its off center. Yup, you heard that right. Its all the brides fault! Not the seamstress who only took in the one side ! I asked her during this meeting how she would feel if her daughter was treated the way I was treated by her attendants ...and she was silent. Surprise surprise. Moral of the story, dont risk coming here.

This bridal shop is the perfect little place. They have every style you can imagine. The staff is awesome. They are so helpful and the lady who helped me made me feel like family. They are always on point and never gave me an issue with anything. They are budget friendly and they have the best sales a couple times a year. Macky is the owner and she is always there. She is so involved. I loved it. Macky thanks again for all you did for me. Would recommend this bridal shop to any bride out there. :)

What an amazing experience selecting my dress at Brides of Florida!!! I wanted to thank you for all of your help when I was searching for my perfect dream dress and found a Maggie Soterro that I loved. We had our fairy tale wedding at The Ancient Spanish Monastery on April 30, 2016. I have posted some pics on IG and have gotten many comments on my dress and veil. There are so many gorgeous dresses it was hard to chose and the service and staff made it so memorable for me and my loved ones. Brides of Florida is the best place to buy a wedding dress in Miami!!!Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful on my special day!

Had to wait over 6 months to get my dress and never got a call from the store to let me know their warehouse received it. I had to call them to find out. Then it took another 2 weeks for their warehouse to send my dress to the store so I could my fitting. Scheduling the fitting was another nightmare: fittings are only Tuesdays to Fridays starting at 11am! So I guess I have to miss work now to get my dress fitted! Im beyond annoyed and would never recommend this store to anyone, its a shame because they do have pretty dresses. But they do need to work A LOT on their costumer service skills. Way to add stress to an already busy bride. Didnt need that.

I purchased my wedding dress here last week. After purchasing my dress at their sample sale I saw that they advertised the dress on their instagram for under $1500 not long ago. I was under the impression that this was a $2000 dress and I was given a 45% discount. When I looked at my receipt the receipt was for a size 8 dress and mine is a 10 so I thought they made a mistake and probably quoted me for the wrong dress. I called another local bridal shop and asked for pricing for my dress and the brand new dress there would have been just $200 more than what I paid for at BoF for a sample dress. When I called and explained this, the person who answered the phone said that they indeed mixed up the dresses and my receipt was incorrect. However, Macky (store manager) explained that the price I paid was still accurate and they only discounted my dress $400 because it was lightly used and not really a discontinued sample dress. Needless to say I feel taken advantage of and recommend you call around and ask other boutiques for pricing prior to giving your money to BoF. How can you tell me the dress you quoted me for on the receipt happens to be the same price of the one I took? I do not reccomend this place and its a shame because I followed on Instagram for a long time and was very excited to shop there for my dress. Very disappointed.

The BEST bridal shop in Miami. I had an amazing experience when I came in. If youre looking for a beautiful dress and great help you have to go there. I got my dress and I have gone with friends to get their dresses along with my cousin to get her prom dress. They have a beautiful selection and the actual shop is gorgeous. Ask for Ania or Nilvia when you go, they are truly amazing. Recommend 100%! Take a look at their instagram, trust me you wont regret it.

I want to thank BOF for the wonderful experience! I came in with a picture of a dress I had fallen in love with online and to my surprise the sales consultant pulled multiple similar dresses, different tones, lace patterns, etc. until she found the EXACT dress I was looking for. No surprise, as soon as I tried it on it fit like a glove. I cried, my parents cried. It was THE dress all along. Champagne was passed around, they provided all kinds of I said Yes to the dress signs for photo props. The showroom is gorgeous with mirrors to view yourself in every angle. Amazing! XOXO

Please avoid this place. The 100 or 200 that you will save in you Maggie Sottero its not worth the pain that they will cause you. The owner will pretend that she is super nice and accommodating until your dress is late and you are super stressed. I still had to pay a rush delivery and the the alteration that they did was terrible. An awful experience overall.

Not only did Anya go above and beyond to find my dream dress but it was in such immaculate condition that I was able to take it home that day.Since I live in New York I cant really speak for their Alterations services, but they had a wide collection of high and modern looking dresses.

I cannot say enough about my experience. The shop completely took my breath away. It was so much bigger than what I thought based on the social media pics. I made my appointment well over a month in advance so they could accommodate my large party, and it was well worth it. We had the first appointment, and got there on time and got to work. Our consultant was Keylú and she was fantastic! She was so engaged with our group, and interacted with everyone and my bridal party loved her. I tried on about five dresses and the last one was it. It was definitely not the dress I thought I would end up with. After, I was checking out, I got bumped into Mackie, who is the owner and I kind of fan girled, cause I had seen her all over IG. She was so amazing in person and I just loved her. My experience at Brides of Florida, was everything I wanted for and so much more.

The team at Brides of Florida are very sweet! Keylu is the best, and she was so patient in helping me find my dream dress. From the very beginning she was filled with excitement, and was very attentive to the style that I loved. I had brought family members and my best friend, and the team at BOF were more than accommodating. If youre not following them on social media (especially Instagram), you really should! The owner and her team regularly post tips on finding your perfect dress, new arrivals, and updates that are super helpful for your bridal dress search. Do not recommend. I was treated quite poorly, was misled, I am sad to say my wedding dress was not all I had hoped for thanks to their poor customer service.My sister and mom and I went in for my fitting, this was about 2 months prior to my wedding date. At this visit, I tried on a few boleros that would match my dress, I wanted long sleeves but wasnt happy with the ones that my dress came with. I found one I was happy with, decided to order it; I was ready then and there to pay for it, (would have been around $400) however the store told me that the company they order from was already closed, so they would place the order the next day. I made an appointment to come back in 1 month to try on the bolero and have it fitted for my dress. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, and I called a few days before my appointment to confirm if the bolero was going to be there on time for my appointment, or did I need to postpone my appointment? The receptionist went to check in the back then came back on the phone, I remember I asked her twice to be sure and she said yes it should be here by then. I had called ahead to confirm this information, because I work in Weston and had to drive a bit over an hour for any appointment in Kendall at their shop.My appointment arrives, I go with my sister, I try on my dress which was now hemmed and fitted to the correct length, and I am happy with it. Then when I ask about my bolero, they say they do not have it. Of course I am upset. So they call Nilvia, and my sister is my witness, Nilvia was very rude in addressing us, condescendingly saying to me that the bolero was never ordered because I never paid for it. I told her that I even called ahead the week before to inquire and was told that it would arrive on time for this appointment!! Then she made another comment to imply maybe it was a language barrier? Because I think their receptionist only speaks english. I was so angry. I assured her, as you can see here clearly, I speak perfect English and Spanish, so surely this was not the case. Nilvia was very dismissive and rude, not once did I receive an apology, for the fact that I would not be able to have long sleeves that I dreamed of for my wedding day, which only comes once in a lifetime!!!! Heartbreak. I wanted to cry, but I never raised my voice, was not rude, did not shed a tear in her presence.But, on the bright side, that is $400 dollars less that I spent in this undeserving store.

I would not recommend this place to any bride! My fiancée had the worst experience at this place. She was under a lot of stress because of this and I did not like to see her like that before our wedding. This was supposed to be an enjoyable experience and it was definitely not like that for her. They promised her a certain dress and they did not fall though and acted like she was asking for something she was not entitled to. She has paid for her dress and is entitled to the dress and the expectations she deserves. Also, the owner Macky was very unprofessional. How do you expect to trust a place when the owner is like that? Think about it before coming here. Take your money somewhere else where they actually appreciate your business!!!

I saw a dress online and noticed that Brides of Florida was one of the authorized retailers of Maggie Sottero gowns. I called and Macky was glorious from day 1. As an international bride I needed knowledge as well as great customer service. The day I traveled to Florida for my appointment,I missed it (the store was closed time as I got there) and had to reschedule. They accepted me on a day when they were actually closed. They made me feel so special in addition to that I looked beautiful in my gown!

I wish that my review was a positive one after having my initial thoughts about this place, but unfortunately this is not the case.Hortencia was my favorite person at this location; she was so helpful in finding dresses that I loved! To be quite honest, I have always admired the styles featured at Brides of Florida and was ecstatic about finding my dress; however, after meeting the face of Brides of Florida, my jaw literally dropped (in a bad way). I was, in no way shape or form, going to support this business so I left without paying a dime. My first experience trying on a wedding dress was tainted by the unprofessional customer service provided by the manager/owner, Macky Diaz. It is important to note that the hallmark in any business is to provide professional customer service in order to maintain a positive business image, yet this is something that Ms. Diaz struggles with.My large party was posed to be an inconvenience and falsely accused of sneaking in despite multiple attempts made to contact the owner prior to my appointment. Her delivery was abrasive, unprofessional, unpolished, and posed as an example to her staff about what not to do. I would have purchased, and paid in full, the very first dress and veil that I had tried on if not for how rudely I was addressed. I have never felt so disrespected.Overall, this negative experience led me to find my dream dress and veil at another establishment at a more competitive price than offered at Brides of Florida. The irony is that this establishment was smaller in size than BOF and the staff was far more welcoming than Macky Diaz. For future reference, she should learn to delegate staff to follow up with correspondence appropriately in order to avoid miscommunication and I hope that she can fine tune the culture at her establishment so that someones special day is not ruined by her inability to manage her anger.

When I got engaged the only thing I knew for a FACT that I wanted to spend the most money on was my dress. I stepped into BOF and the moment I did I knew I had made the right decision. EVEYONE who works there was born to do that job. Dress shopping was such a pleasant experience, I was able to buy not one but two dresses due to the amazing prices these people have. Unbelievable! Im giving them ONE star because I have to but I would rather give negative stars. This place is HORRIBLE!!! What a nightmare. Their job is to make the wedding dress shopping experience enjoyable however thats not what they do. Lets start with the staff is rude & inexperienced, they gave my sister Wanda such a hard time with her dress & on top of that they never took her measurements, lied to her about the payment plan & then had the audacity to give us attitude when we went back to get the measurements they never took in the first place. It was embarrassing on their behalf & I wouldnt recommend Brides of Florida to my worst enemy period & point blank,. The authorities should shut this company down!

I will start with, they pick out dresses that they know are over your budget without thinking that we pick a budget for a reason.. I had fallen in love with a gown that was over budget by over a thousand dollars... Had to go back to the drawing board to choose another one. Very stressful. I should have used that as the first sign to leave and go elsewhere but, alas I didnt. (listen to the red flags, people)After making me wait over 2 weeks to pick up my dress. It arrived in Miami January 18, I couldnt pick it up until end of January.. Because it apparently takes 2 weeks to sort in their warehouse. (Mind you, my wedding date is March 10th)Couldn’t get it altered there because it was week day only. Which I understood since they use the weekends to concentrate on sales.Made me make an appt to pick it up and lets make it worse and jump to appointment / pick up day..I walked into the store, let them know I am here for my 11am appointment to pick up my dress. The girl walks back, grabs my dress and just hands it to me. I ask, am I going to try it on? She says.. No, that is only on weekdays Well.. Cool. #not. --So then I followed up with, well, my purchase includes a free rental of a veil, I need to pick mine out. She says No, that is also only on weekdays AND your wedding is too far away so you cant take that home, you have to get it the week before Mind you i am an OUT OF TOWN BRIDE.. So I say, Okay... My mom can pick it up, cool. But I need to pick it out since I will not be returning here before my wedding..She again did not allow that since Saturdays are only for sales..THE PLACE WAS EMPTY!!! You couldnt give me 5 minutes to look at freakin veils so all my mother had to do was pick it up for me.They didnt even open the bag to confirm it was the right dress before handing it to me. Im like let me at least make sure we have the right one since you can’t do anything else in this place unless it’s the weekday.Very disappointed. They only have good customer service when you’re picking out the dress. Once they have the sale, all of that goes out the window apparently. ESPECIALLY if you are not going to them for alterations.I will add, I waited almost a week to write this review. I was contacted by their manager on Saturday and was told that theyd send me pictures of their veils on Wednesday so they could ship it to me and that did not happen. So, thanks Brides of Florida.I wish I wouldve not been so overwhelmed that day and have gone to Davids Bridal following my appointment with you because I bet I wouldve been treated 100x better than you did to me.Please remember that brides only get this moment ONCE. Try not to mess it up for someone else next time.
