Ive been using BioCO2Freeze for over a year when I need dry ice. They are always stocked up, and ready to help. The staff is always so friendly and efficient.Make sure to bring a box for the dry ice. They can supply you with one for a small fee, or you can go around the corner to the dollar store for one.Help them help you.
I called BioCo to ask about their dry ice. (A quick search on Google Maps indicated they supply some), and was told they carry dry ice pellets at $1/lb, minimum 5 lb. order. I asked how they package the ice and they said it would be in a small cooler. I thought, great, I dont have to worry about how to get it home. Once I got there the person at the checkout counter told me it would be an additional $10 for the cooler. $10!!! Thats more than the ice since I only bought 5 lbs and the cooler was full to the brim. That means had I needed more ice I probably wouldve had to pay more for a larger cooler or an additional $10 for a second cooler. I couldve saved myself time and money by having it delivered or I couldve opted to take my own receptacle to store the ice. NOT COOL!
