I have never experienced worse customer service in my 40 year existence on this planet. Not only did they sell me two incompatible products, a vehicle mount kit and base plate for my Suzuki, they forced me to pay not only the return shipping for the incorrect base plate, but they charged me again to ship the correct one. When the replacement arrived it ended up being the same incorrect base plate that I had just paid to return! You cant make this stuff up! The products are low quality as well. DO NOT BUY SHAD, BUY GIVI INSTEAD and thank me later.
Ordered a set of SH35 side cases and the appropriate mounting racks for my 2018 Honda NC750X. The racks fit but did not seem right for the bike. They stuck out way too far. Contacted the company in Miami multiple times by email and by phone. Either they didnt understand the issue, had to check with ___ or get permission to do this or do that. Over and over again and again. All I wanted was the correct mounts. The parts catalog online showed a much different fit and I knew something was off. Finally, after nearly three months, they tell me I have the correct parts coming. They sent me a bag of bolts.Thats it.Not the correct mounts despite my being explicit in my description of what was wrong, providing photos of the issue, etc. When I called them once more, they told me to send the mounts I have back and they would order me the correct ones. With their incompetence and my luck, they would box them up differently and mail them back to me as the replacements. Thats how little faith and trust I had in them at that point. In the mean time, my girlfriend had ordered the exact same set for the exact same make/model motorcycle through Revzilla and her bag mounts fit perfectly. Then I knew I had the wrong ones. After three months, I ordered a replacement set for my bike through Revzilla, had them in two weeks and vowed never to buy another SHAD US product ever again.
Im very happy with the buying experience, communication and product quality!I ordered side cases and 3p mounting system for my Yamaha XSR900, which is not a popular bike, so, like Ive expected, they didnt have the mounting system in stock, obviously! I wrote an e-mail and they answered right away. Had to wait 3 weeks to get them from Spain. When Ive finally received the package, one bolt and a spacer was missing. Emailed them, and shortly they responded saying that missing parts were mailed to me, which Ive received next week.I dont mind waiting. Thats why I ordered them off riding season.Cant wait to install and test them!The communication was excellent!I definitely can recommend these guys! Thank you!
Ordered an SR38 bag. I was worried about the bad reviews but they were upfront and honest about experiencing some difficulties with orders coming in during the pandemic. The bag was delivered surprisingly fast, it took around a couple of weeks to get here since placing the order.
Shipped fast and received in a couple days. Ordered a backrest for Honda PCX 150. Best one out there.
They claim to have shipped an order that I paid for but they haven’t. They don’t answer they phone and refuse to respond to any other communication.
SHAD as a Spanish company is great and good quality kit. SHAD USA as a distributor of said products is a mess. Just order from somewhere else or just buy through SHAD UK and eat the shipping. Many headaches will be avoided this way.
I ordered bags from a third party and it had a broken latch on it. I spent over 2 months trying to get a hold of a customer service rep to get the replacement part. I was never called or email back. Finally I was able to find the part and I ordered it, but they never mailed it out after 3 weeks. I had to recontact them with live support since they arent answering their phones and the mailbox is full. They asked me to purchase it again, even though the first one is still pending. This has been a cluster f*ck and will never purchase shad bags again.
I ordered a top case fitting for my bike on black Friday. Order goes right through and there was no indication that the item was backlogged. My first clue that Shad USA is a nightmare was when I didnt get my notice that my order was shipped within a day or 2. Three weeks, and countless phone calls later, still nothing. No one picks up the phone when you call, no one returns your messages, and no one reaponds to emails. Shad overall is a good company that makes good products, but Shad USA is an absolute joke. If you want shad gear, then order it through revzilla or cyclegear. If they dont have it, then just buy givi. Absolutely DO NOT go through Shad USA.
I ordered a backrest for my bike 1 month and 2 days ago, I finally received it, it looks good, easy to install, if it wasn’t for the shipping time it would be 5 starts,
Sent order to wrong address...twice. Then offered to refund my $ after it went to their manager for 5-10 days. As this was not an interest free loan, I cancelled on my VISA. Horrible experience; almost like they were trying to screw things up intentionally or just didnt care.
I ordered some side bags, supports for the side bags, and a new seat a month ago. Their web site said nothing about anything being on back order. After several days with no shipping confirmation I reached out to SHAD to find out that the side bags were out of stock. I explained to them that I needed the side bags within 3.5 weeks or I would need to buy from someone else as I had a trip coming up. They assured me I would receive my bags. They offered partial shipment so I took it on the condition that I would get my side bags on time. I received my seat and side bag frame a few days later. The seat while it is more plush than the stock seat does not fit the bike well. The bag supports instruction clearly state that they include 2 nuts, the instructions then call for 4. I informed shad of this issue and had to fight with them for over a week for them to ship me about $1.00 worth of parts that their kit did not include. Time passes and my trip is close and still no word about my bags. I reach out to them and they tell me they will ship within the week and I should receive them, the day after I need them. That day has come and gone and I still have not received my bags. This company sells “meh” products that you may or may not get all the parts you need if you even receive what you order. My advice is buy from anyone else.
Shad USA has taken THREE MONTHS so far to process my refund for a seat. UPS Tracking shows the return package was delivered to ShadUSA on July 3rd 2019. They have acknowledged by email that they have received the package, yet after multiple emails I still do not have the refund three months later, now Oct 3rd. They just keep telling me that they are checking the status or waiting on an update and stuff like that. I have refuted the charges with my credit card but that process is also taking months of back and forth to resolve. I still dont have the refund as of Oct 3, 2019.
Shad USA is a great company. Their product knowledge is second to none. The product line is some of the best in its class. I highly recommend them and their product line. Before considering any motorcycle cases be sure to check them out!
Horrible customer service . I canceled my order after called multiple times to confirm needed delivery date. They lied to me about delivery dates abs status. After canceling the order they tried to provide a partial refund. I hope company goes under soon!!

I ordered SH36 side cases over a month ago. I still did not get them. Every week I contact them and they keep saying that it will be in house ready to ship by the end of the week. This was told me 3 times so far and still nothing. I am very disappointed the fact that they sell products that are not near ready to ship, or it could at least note that it could take a few weeks depending on availability but nothing. I needed the saddlebags for a trip which I ended up not having anything. I wished I ended up going with Givi and have the saddlebags a month ago. The reason why I gave 2 stars is because I hear that the product is good quality but it will probably take a few months to arrive. Also, I requested free shipping after I paid for the product + shipping a month ago and they stated: We will looking into it once we have the saddlebags Not so much good customer service and probably do not care too much about its customers.Thanks

Shad makes good quality accessories. Please be patient if you experience something unfortunate like shipping damage or you end up ordering a color that doesnt match. I am sure this happens more often than Shad would like to see. It is hard to select a color from a picture on a website and try to match to your color bike. Do your homework and research the motorcycle forums prior to see what others are experiencing. I made the mistake of making a hasty decision and I was fortunate that I caught this prior to the merchandise leaving the Shad warehouse. Diana was nice enough to stop the order at the last minute.Good luck and ride safe.
I had ordered the semi hard side bags with no indications that it was out of stock. I received an email after ordering that it wouldnt be in stock for about 3 weeks. It ended up taking a month to get in stock and an additional week and a half to get it shipped. Customer service was very hard to understand on the phone due to the foreign accent and my email correspondence to them went unanswered. Even the shipping notification email was poorly put together and the spot where the tracking number was supposed to be was blank. Ive been very unhappy with this entire month and a half long process. I would not recommend buying from this company.
Shad USA appears to be suffering from growing pains. Product shipping to the US for distribution is way behind order volume. I ordered the P3 mount system. Order took 3 weeks to fill. Questioning my choice of side cases for my Honda CTX700. I get shipping challenges. Cargo containers are often lost at sea due to storms or rough conditions. However, customer service is critical to growing a business, expanding territories. There are other, faster, more expensive shipping methods that could be used.

TERRIBLE customer service!!!! I called and then called some more. no one works there in florida. A woman named Diana with a heavy accent answered once and just blew me off and was absolutely no help. i sent emails and pictures of my top case with my problems with there product. I would enjoy talking and or emailing with Shad, Incorporated president to let them know what a terrible job they are doing.... MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE IS .......BUY A GIVI BAG
No communication whatsoever. Contacted via phone, email, and chat, each rep promised an email on shipping dates. Website specified I would not be charged until 3-5 days before shipping. I was charged immediately and received half of my order after 3 business weeks. Still dont have the rest. they finally responded via chat saying sometime next week they get an order from spain, my trip starts sunday... very disappointing. SHAD USA has terrible customer service. 2 stars only b/c the product looks good (at least in the pictures I saw).
