I love Mediterranean food. I was so happy when I found this place. I used to bring my friends in and out of town here all the time but lately, service is bad. The last two times I visited, they served microwaved food and pita. The sides are not fresh. I don’t know if I will ever come back to this place. Seeing good reviews from others makes me wonder if they serve fresh food only on some days. I hate to see this place lower its standards.

I found this amazing hidden gem on a trip to Miamisburg recently and I’m so glad I did!! Their Beef and Lamb Schwarma is so delicious!! It’s listed as a Beef Schwarma. Their Tzatziki sauce is superb. I hope to go back time and time again! Try it out, you will be so glad you did!! Great value as well. The Schwarma by itself is $5.99 or $7.99 as a meal deal.

Review is for the store. Went for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Cleaner and more organized than most Middle eastern stores I’ve been to. Advice if you want to buy bread…definitely call in advance to make sure they have some fresh bread. They sell out quickly because yup…it’s that good. Their frozen pita is really quite terrible so it’s worth the call.

First time experience, will be back! The lady was so kind in explaining all the options and sharing which were her favorite.

This is, hands down, one of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. I am Vegan, my friend Barb is not and we both found tons of tasty options. I highly recommend the Baba Ganoush. So good!

This may have been the best chicken shawarma I have ever eaten. Perfect blend of spices and the chicken was so tender. The hummus was awesome. The baklava wasnt as moist and flavorful as I would have liked but everything else was great.

I was pretty disappointed with my meal. I got the vegetarian plate with falafel, grape leaves, hummus, and baba ganoush. I have had a lot of Greek food and none of this tasted right. The hummus was bland, the baba ganoush was too bitter, and the grape leaves were way too sour. Even the falafel was not good, and Ive never not enjoyed falafel. I wont pretend to know what authentic Greek food tastes like and perhaps it was just an off day for this place, but I was bummed and probably wont be back.

The food was very fresh and they have the best falafel I’ve ever had. The owner, the cashier, and the guy that served our food were all very nice and helpful. Definitely returning soon!!!

Today i got couple of grill chickens but Rice is very bad smell and uncooked also side dish is very little portion for 2 chicken also employees are not polite. Delivery also not in by order. Owners need to keep on eye with system.

I was very excited to finally live some place with Mediterranean food again, Yafa Grill didn’t disappoint! The food was excellent and the employees were very polite and efficient. I look forward to trying other items in their menu in the future.

LOVE this place! Yaffa is truly a little treasure. Everything I’ve ever gotten has been absolutely delicious. I can especially recommend the Arabic salad and chicken shawarma, and we can never get enough of the garlic sauce they serve on the side. I always have to ask for extra, it’s so good! The last time I was there, I checked out the grocery area and bought dates and some really fantastic tea and spices. If you’re looking for a great selection of spices at decent prices, this is the place to come! To top off how amazing the food is, the people there are so incredibly kind. We need more places like this. I hope the Yaffa Grill & Market sticks around for a long, long time!

It took a while before anyone even took our order and hardly anybody was wearing a mask from the employees.

Food tastes good, but they almost always get the order wrong and the place isnt the most clean.

I am rating three stars for this place for its overall feel when you walk in. However, for food I will rate it two stars. My experience is not that great. But they really have room to improve a lot if they want to.

This is authentic Middle-Eastern food. Take it from someone who has spent her entire childhood there. I had my Ratatouille moment the minute I took my first bite.We ordered the mixed grille and the beef shawarma entree. Both were delicious. The portions were generous given the reasonable pricing. We felt that the meat from the shawarma was a little tough, though.We carried-out and so I cannot comment on their dine-in service. But the lady who took my call was courteous and pleasant.We loved the food and its flavor, which definitely warrants a trip back to sample more from their menu.

Restaurant: Probably the best middle eastern food in town. Amazing taste and fairly priced.Market: Has most of the things you’d need for your South Asian/Turkish/Arabic cuisine, good selection of juices and flatbreads as well. Overall a very good experience every time we go there and we’ve been going there for 4+ years. The store could be better but it’s definitely not bad.

Very friendly staff, unbothered by my uneducated questions about what food is what. Ive been here 3 times and gotten something different every time, and have yet to be disappointed. There is a full market attached where you can find all sorts of things as well!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of the Dayton area. The portions are great and the prices reasonable. Unique flavors you wont find anywhere else around here. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough.

When in Dayton we like to pick local restaurants and ethnic foods we cant get at home. We decided to give this place a try. The only reason Im giving 4 stars is because they didnt quite have everything on the menu available which caused a quick turnaround of deciding what to order (which is hard with kids). Otherwise I would give a 5. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. My husband got the mixed grill: the grilled chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the rest of the meats were also delicious. Even the rice had the perfect amount of flavor! The hummus has a surprisngly big kick of mixed with the red pepper, but mixed or not it was the best hummus Ive ever had. I got the vegetarian sampler. My 1.5 year old and I devoured the grape leaves. The falafel was also good but may be a bit bland compared to others Ive tried. However the tahini salad dipping sauce made everything spectacular. I also got the baba ganoush which was new for me, but may have just become one of my favorite foods. If you want to support local and try something new, I highly recommend you give this place a shot.

Food there is great, didnt have to wait a long amount of time. Very specific types of goods from arab culture and loved looking around to see all these different things. Great people there and i suggest everyone checks it out and tries something different to broaden their palate! 5/5!

The Yaffa mix grill is a great combination of meats, and the eggplant appetizer is excellent! I had the hummus on the side, too. Very, very good! More than I could eat for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back when Im in the area again.

Best hummus Ive ever had

I absolutely adore this restaurant and market. Very cute little store and the restaurant is delicious. Deli style ordering and a nice little seating area. The beef kafta is amazing and I have yet to order anything that I didnt enjoy very much. The woman that works at the restaurant section is so sweet and helpful. The food comes out fairly quickly and hot. There is sometimes a bit of a language barrier but they are always so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend you try this cute place if you enjoy Mediterranean food!!

Everything is freshly made right in front of you. The entire place is clean, especially the food prep area. The food is phenomenal and the staff are lovely, kind people. Try the hummus! Beautiful and delicious.

Good Food Great Prices: Authentic Mediterranean style food. Not much seating to dine in so dont plan on a large group going and sitting together. There flat bread is very good, plus A LOT of unique items in the attached grocery store.

The grocery store expanded by sacrificing rstaurant area. A pity because food was excellent except at Ramadan time.

I love Yaffa. I love the great selection at the grocery store, the service has always been friendly, and the food is marvelous. I hold my restaurant hummus up to very high standards, to my favorite restaurant growing up, and Yaffas is so close, and with the addition of the herb and spice garnishes, I think its truly a contender. Portions are good, price is fair, and lots of healthy options.

Excellent food and staff is very nice. I wish they were a little clearer on what comes with the veggie platter, and what is or isnt a complimentary side dish...but for the price and quality of food cant complain. However, they are a little slow if they get a lot of orders but the food is fresh.

Great market with great prices, but the star of the show was their small cafe. Their shawarma was easily the best Ive had since traveling to the middle East.

The food is very good, service can be slow. They recently changed the dining area to provide more privacy but it only includes booths, so dont come with a party of more then 4.

I called on Dec. 31st to place a catering order for New Years Day for eight adults, one including a vegan eater. The man on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The order was ready at the specified time and was reasonably priced. The food was delicious! We ordered lentil soup (spicy and delicious), hummus, baba ganoush (my all-time favorite-- they make it the best!), foul (spicy), Arabic salad, yogurt salad (in hindsight we did not need this), tabouli, stuffed grape leaves, kafta kebobs, and chicken shwarma. It was all so yummy. I highly recommend!

Tasty Mediterranean food! I usually get the hummus and falafel appetizer from the grill, and they are delicious!! Lots of great groceries at decent prices in the market, too.

I have been a regular customer to this place. In the last week I must have ordered like 4 times. Today I felt the boy at the grill was rude when I asked him for extra garlic and above that he charged me for that. Rude behavior and bad service. I guess I am not coming back. I love this place! The Turkish coffee is wonderful, as is everything from the menu. My kids love the falafel. They carry exquisite dates and teas. Everytime I go there I try to find something I have never tried before. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem in south Dayton! Fantastic food! The shawarma wraps are fantastic, as is the half chicken and rice. Im not usually a rice person, but their rice is out of this world!!! The hummus and babaganoush are also great!

The staff was very rude and someone was following us around. Did they think we were going to steal after paying for our food? My Greek Salad had no black olives and my chicken S sandwich had a few bones. Don’t go to this place. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
