This has been, hands down, the worst company I’ve ever had to work with. I was charged THREE TIMES THE AMOUNT I should have paid. Told the pending charges would drop off (they aren’t pending). This has been an on-going issue for four days now. The manager is never in the office and able to help, I’ve called several times. I tried calling uhaul customer service with zero help.I paid $160 dollars in total for 90 minutes and less than 20 miles in a 10 foot uhaul. At this point Uhaul has stolen around 100 dollars from me. I am livid. I would not recommend this company or location to anyone.

While I agree they arent lightning fast, I would rather take the few extra minutes and deal with someone who is thorough and accurate. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and drop-off is a breeze!

Absolutely no help whatsoever! Called early in the am to reserve a regular pickup, got there the employees are no help at all, and gave away my reservation.

Usually renting a uhaul is a pain but LINDSEY made it such a breeze. She is the right person in a stressful position. Makes it so easy because of her friendly calm style. Wish more people like her were around.

We called on Tuesday afternoon to reserve a truck for a weekend rental and was told it was walk in only then we walk in on Saturday morning and get told by the lady working that it was reservation only so now we have the weekend to move but have no truck because ofu haul definitely would never recommend this place to anyone they have no idea what is going on

Awesome experience with the staff here. I didnt make a reservation but they went above and beyond to ensure I find a truck I wanted! Outstanding!!

Most staff are friendly and very helpful. The manger is horrible. She needs to learn to talk to people. Very unpleasant to deal with a simple situation. As an added bonus here, the staff does not like moving quickly. I was in line to buy an adapter for 15 minutes. I was next and the staff took their time with the people they were helping. Good and bad i guess, but they could have cut the chatter knowing people are in line.

Rented a 6x12 trailer, uhaul rep did not install it correctly and it came off the hitch. Secondly, was told over the phone to have it returned before they close on Sunday @5p. This was a 2 day rental Friday 3p to Sunday 3P. Contract showed 2:47p-3:21p, they charged me another $50 because they said I was :34 late. Terrible service, would not recommend and will not use them again unless they make this right. Nothing like waiting on hold for :30 only for them to tell you they will review it and get back to you in 3 business days. Cmon U-Haul, you can do better. Hope that extra charge was worth losing someone that uses you twice a year, every year, but will not use moving forward.

Understaffed and slow. They had two workers and a line of 4 people. It took over 45 minutes before they got to us.

Waited outside for 20 min to get propane and no one showed up. Called the store and no one answered and said 20 min to talk to someone. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot.

Ive used this sites services twice - once for a truck and once just for supplies - and am about to go back a third time for supplies. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially in helping me to decide what size and how many boxes I would need. There only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they do seem to always be under-staffed.

Chelsea (maybe Cynthia).... she is the manager, wow. This is the 234 Springboro Pike location. She has no business being the voice of that Uhual location. I had a hitch installed there (the guy that installed did a good job) and I got to the counter to pay. Per my appointment call the associate told me they charge a rate of $65 an hour. After I paid, I noticed it charged my card $115 (hence I paid $50 more than what I was told over the phone during my appointment call). The workers recognized I was only there an hour and they charged me for 1.65 hours + tax. They attempted to credit my card, however were unable and requested I call a manager Monday. Took about 4 days to get her on the phone. Tells me I was quoted the right price (I was not), and bc I provided my own hitch, that 1.65 hours is the going rate. I told her that was never communicated to me, she essentially called me a liar and tried to usher me off the phone. This experience reminded me of talking to a drunk at bar - just kind of rough, loud, making wild accusations and overly aggressive. OUCH - The workers are good, however I can totally understand the disconnect from just talking to their leadership. I would avoid this location just in the event something goes wrong and you had to talk to a manager.

ASHLEY WAS SUPER AMAZING! ME AND MY WIFE ARE RELOCATING AND WERE UNSURE ABOUT WHAT WE NEEDED. WE ALSO RECEIVED MISLEADING INFORMATION FROM ANOTHER U-HAUL LOCATION. SHE TOOK CARE OF US AND EDUCATED US ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRUCKS AND TRAILERS. WE GREATLY APPRECIATE HER EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! AND NOW OUR STRESS LEVELS ARE MUCH LOWER!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ASHLEY!! :)

I understand social distancing and respect that but customer service is declining with this. Associate didnt greet me nor even offer me a bag to carry my purchases in. It was like it bothered her to even move from the desk. Will not use this location again.

Worst customer service ever!! Any time I would call the store number 9/10 times I would get transferred to the call center or hung up on. I ordered hitch to be installed on my car back in June and still dont have the hitch I ordered and paid for. Avoid doing business with the location at all costs! My experience was horrible!

Unprofessional and rude. My husband was literally laughed at when he asked if he could rent a truck. Im sorry, youre U-Haul, people come to your store to rent trucks. If you dont have trucks available then you say that in a professional way. I literally will never know with certainty, out of the full parking lot of trucks, if any were available because Kelli wouldnt verbally tell my husband yes, we have trucks available, or no, Im sorry, we dont have any trucks available. She just laughed, gave him a receipt to pick up a truck at a different location, and sent him on his way.

You know whats wrong with Uhaul.........customer service over the phone.......these people feel that we are desperate because were call Uhaul, you do realize that youre not the only moving company out there. Just try to rent a trailer over the phone through the call center or some lady setting at home glued to her couch and she was the most rude person, getting a attitude with me because in 2020 I dont like giving my credit card over the phone with no one......no one........trying to get mad at me I dont know you and at this point dont trust you either...............Uhaul you need to do something or change........

Not a fan of the price, but what can you do? They were supposed to call letting us know when we could pick the truck up and no call was made. Not a huge deal, however 1300.00 to move 10 hours away while packing a 4 bedroom house, pick up, and 2 dogs, not calling kinda freaked people with that much to do... Hell, for the price alone deserved a phone call. Tire on the trailer for the truck also blew out on the way to the state we were moving to, the men that came to fix it were really rude, like us having a blow out inconvenienced them. So, do your research and in my opinion, this isnt a horrible option but you may want to go another route if possible.

Very friendly service. Lots of trucks, trailers, and supplies on hand. Fair rental cost (mine was a motorcycle trailer for $15 for 24 hours) will use this location again in the future

This was not my own experience. But standing in line witnessing how the store manager, Chelsea handled a customer was unreal. She legit yelled at them. The customer came to pick up something, said they had scheduled it on Wednesday to pick up..and she just kept screaming at him that the item was never scheduled. And there was nothing she could do for him today. No trailer. Etc.Ive never seen a manager lose their cool this badly on a customer before.The customer was highly upset.

0 star if I could it’s the worse customer service ever guy at the cashier said he don’t wanna do his job because it’s raining he don’t want to get wet so he literally made me wait 40 min until the rain stopped

I brought my sons truck to have a hitch put on. It didnt take very long at all & it seems as though they did a great job, exactly how my son asked them to do it. The people working were very nice & great to work with.

Absolutely the rudest manager Ive ever talked with quoted me a price on the phone got there they raised the price 120 dollars ok fine do the work came to pick up vehicle battery in car was Dead the said oh left the door open well jump it ok then told me the price 39 higher than the already informed price oh we added a lifetime warranty I said I dont want it she said to bad you signed for it then I said thats a scam she got very rude told me to have a nice day and that her day was better than mine I will contact corporate office someone has to hear about this place crazy

Very displeased with service. rented van broke down 4 times, last time waited over 3 hours for tow truck to haul van and us back to site. arrived at 7:05, clerk inside very rude to tow truck driver and us. called next day explained situation and said we would expect charge adjustment due to circumstance they did not deliver a usable product, manager never called back and week later full charge applied. Totally unprofessional and we got ripped off! WHAT A JOKE....ONLY WAY REVIEW CAN BE SUBMITTED IS BY GIVING THEM A STAR....THEY DESERVE NONE next BBB, FTC...

Couldn’t access unit with code, told that there was an issue and that it had been resolved, packed up van and went back and the doors will still not open.

Great place for moving needs. Youll find that reserving and ordering is very easy and slim. Youll find that its very very very lonely and not busy.

Very clean place, quiet, definitely needs more help up front, only had one person working the counter and 3 people waiting to be helped.

Easy pick up and even easier drop off. Interacted with several employees and they were all too notch!!

Would not allow me to attach their trailer on my Explorer which forced me to rent a truck that costs way too much per mile. Also the inside dimensions of the truck were actually smaller than what was advertised on their website.

I went here for a trailer. Everything went really well.

We got a uhaul rental 3 days in advance. They sent my husband a confirmation number and when he went to pick it up they didn’t have the truck for him. Very very disappointed! Will never rent from uhaul again!

We had to return a trailer for unforseen circumstances and we needed a truck. They didnt have anything else available at all, even though the lot was full of trucks. I know it was our fault we couldnt get the trailer, but life happens. Very inconvenient.

One single person working here at 8am with a line of 6 people. Waited over 30 minutes just to get to the counter. One guy even walked out. This is simply unacceptable for a company with this name.

I have to say U-HAUL has no customer service way to expensive they want you to put another contact other than yourself totally unnecessary dont waste your time rent from someone who respects and value you as a customer
