So the Hispanic lady who works here is extremely rude. I went in with my receipt because i had purchased a lg stylo 6 on 3/31. I was robbed a few weeks back so i decided to suspend the line since i didnt have the phone. Under the impression i had insurance because when she asked me i said yes, i returned to get a phone. She told me when i asked if you wanted the insurance you said no Now who in their right mind would purchase a brand new $300 phone and not get the insurance. I stormed out after she told me i would have to buy the phone at $320 and then pay my bill of $60. I didnt want to lose my number. Anyway i go back in after i calmed down and she proceeds to let me know i can start over(new number) and that total i would only pay $200 which is what i did.. Fact of the matter is she didnt take accountability for her mistake and i was screwed in the long run. She had her spanish music blasting which is unprofessional and the experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will never return to this location.Now i understand now that claims and things have to be made and that there is still a chance i wouldnt have got the phone yesterday anyway depending on the circumstances, but she should have been ready and willing to assist me with whatever i needed done. This is how you lose business and have people shoe away from wanting to deal with you. She knocked $5 off a case i purchased but as long as i have been with metro smh. They truly dont value their customers because if you did you would understand that without us, you dont have a business.EDIT:(6/5/2021)I will be updating my stars because of the timely manner that I heard back from a metro supervisor who was extremely helpful. I am not sure if I should mention his name or not but he knows who he is. Anyways everyone can see my complaint up above and he called me within a timely manner. I missed the first phone call but he left a voicemail letting me know to call him back when I was free along with his number. I called back the following day and he was extremely polite and nice. I explained what happen and felt like i was able to give constructive criticism and when the roles were reversed felt like I could see ways I could improve on as the customer. If anyone ever has a problem, I would only hope god would bless them with this particular supervisor.
My husbands phone suddenly refused to charge or turn on today but I wasnt worried because he had insurance. Still, he wanted to go ahead and upgrade because he got it from this very location about a year ago and it was time. Since I couldnt go with my husband but am the account holder, I called ahead to make sure it would go smoothly. The young man told me that my husband would receive $60 to $120 toward a new phone from the old phone value. Once my husband arrived at the store, he called me about thirty minutes into it and said that the same young man was now telling him he would receive NOTHING for it, and that any insurance claim would take 3 to 5 business days to receive another device- despite the insurance brochure claiming they would overnight a phone to us. On the way to meet him to straighten out the mess, I called customer services corporate number to get the facts straight and was told that the amount for the trade in would be zero if the phone wouldnt turn on. Fair enough. They couldnt answer insurance questions. I arrived at the store to meet my husband and the young man working was absolutely despicable toward both of us. My husband, at this point, had somehow managed to get the phone back on. The young man insisted he still would receive NOTHING for it. I explained that I had already spoken to corporate and that if it turns on, we at least get $60. He rolled his eyes at me and said, Yeah, right. Sure you did, about as sarcastically as possible. Rather than argue with a child, we decided to just splurge on a new phone outright. Nearly everything was sold out and there were no demos available for any phones. My husband found one he liked and asked if he could see it. The boy said, For what? My husband explained that he wanted to see how it looked when it was on. The young man went to get the box out of the back and sat it on the counter. After a few moments of awkward silence, my husband finally asked if he was going to open the box and was told, No. My husband said, Well, I need to see how it operates before I buy it. Do you have one that I can see working? Again, we simply got a, No. At this point, were both beyond irritated with the situation. My husband said, Look, Im not buying something if I cant see it in action and the young man said, And Im not taking it out of the box for you! If I do that, it isnt NEW and then we cant sell it!! Okay, fair enough, but why say it so nastily? He then informed us that if we wanted to see a demo, we should go to a store that offered demo phones and purchase one there. Ultimately, I Youtubed a video of the phone so my husband could see and we decided to buy it. The employee went ahead and gave us the $60 off once he realized we were serious about making a purchase, I can only assume. The entire time, he was sucking his teeth and rolling his eyes as he rang the sale. My husband tried to ask a few questions about carrying over the games, photos, etc and was repeatedly told, I dont know to every question. I cannot begin to describe my disgust. Through all of this, it wasnt even what he said but HOW he said it. He treated us like garbage and it was obvious he loathed the sight of us in the store, for whatever reason. Maybe we were breaking up his dance party to the loud music booming from a speaker on the floor. Who knows. Whatever the reason, someone needs to know. These stores are franchised so corporate isnt going to do anything at all. Whomever owns this store needs to take notice. This is how you lose loyal customers.
The female in the store located on Middle River Rd is useless. She said she couldnt help us Friday evening to come back Saturday after 10am. We went back Saturday and the person was there. She talked on her cell phone, decided to wipe off the dirty counter and ignore us. We ask if she was going to help us and she said no. We walked out and went to Hawthorne location. There, we met Ricky who greeted us as we walked in and gave us excellent customer service from start to finish.
Great customer service. Smooth and easy process getting a number transfered to a new phone.
Hi how can i contact the manager or corporate of this store? The female worker Daniela completely stole 280.00+ from my husband on a scam, wouldnt let him pay with a card only cash and we just found out that she processed the payment of 280 plus dollars the night before! Long story but I would love to speak to the manager and take action!
Female worker added stuff to my plan without my consent. Also trys to put you on the highest plan without your knowledge and doesnt give you other plan options without you asking. Be careful theres cheaper options
Dont get the ZTE Blade Max. Phone sucks. The touch screen response is horrible. Wish I would have gotten the LG or Samsung.
If i could leave 0 stars....I went here to changemy service from verizon. Greeted with how may i help you....the guy behind counter said who the f$#** is in my house ni^#**er. I was holding my baby! He was on speaker phone and walked away from my husband and me realizing his personal issue was more important than the 3 customers in tge store. All customers walked out of the store as he cursed away in front of everyone. I have never seen anyone so ignorant and trashy mouthed in customer service. While seating baby in the car, he walked out and locked up 2 hrs early! Lost alot of business tonight
The service is good the store reps are lazy wanted to change plan from 4lines 100 to 4 lines 120 they told me I had to call 1800 number bull after I called the service number they told me they shouldnt of treat you like that there lazy
Horrible customer service. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to help me while the employees gossiped about someone who was getting fired. I eventually left and went to a different location to purchase two phones and start lines of service.
NO SERVICEWhen I went to open the door the whole handle came off .lolThen I noticed a sign that read handle broke use with caution and beside that note was another that read be back in 20 minutes... I left.
