Sara at the Middlebury ATT store was efficient and multi-tasked with three customers at once. She greeted each customer saying I will be with you as soon as possible and got us each out the door quickly. She solved thorny problems with ease.

The staff is perpetually overwhelmed and under trained and the amount of time it takes to purchase something is insane. I think owners/management have caught on that our options are very limited in Middlebury and, as a result, they invest very little in the operation as a whole.Better to purchase online. Data transfers can be done easily now without any help and the phone support offered by AT&T versus local, on-site is superior in every way.

The service was over the top! I loved the way that Tyler greeted me at the door and took care of my problems with my old iPhone 6. He helped me get new phone and even taught me how the new phone worked before I left. To say the least, I had a fabulous experience and I would recommend seeing this store asap!

Honestly I felt positive upon initially dealing with the customer representatives there. Sean and Tyler were both helpful, patient and seemed to thoroughly explain the process, billing, and options available. But after calling, emailing, and leaving voicemails, I ended up having to visit the store to get the answers I needed. I do understand that businesses get busy, but it was only after stopping in twice that I ever got a return call or email.After all of this, I found out that none of the previous quotes provided were accurate. Perhaps more training on various promotions, or exact terminology is required for AT&T employees at these brick-and-mortar stores, because honestly my questions were answered differently every time.I did a lot of research, and knew exactly what I wanted, but that still didnt bring enough clarity to the interaction, these employees did mean well, but Im glad I didnt pull the trigger because I would have received shocking bills thinking all the while that I had found some incredible deal based on our conversations.In review, good customer service, misguided employees, too busy for their own good, tricky language on all AT&T offerings... do your research, and repeatedly ask these guys to provide you with written quotes, then you might actually get what you think youre getting.

I had a roller coaster experience which ended with me being very happy! I want to warn people to know exactly what you want and ask questions or you will be digging deep without having any idea what happened. I thought Sara was being so nice when she was really selling me more than I needed.Sean is the BEST!!! When I was told I couldn’t get my old phone number on my new device he said he could help. I came in the next day and it was done in ten minutes!!! He made comments while I was first getting the phone which helped me so much! Like giving me options with the data plan.I honestly was considering returning both new phones and canceling the contract because I was so frustrated. Now, with Sean helping me I will be an AT&T customer as long as he is here😊

Two women at the counter didnt seem like they wanted to help at all. I had a simple question, but had to wait for 15 minutes before one of them actually asked what I wanted. All this time she was just chatting with someone at the counter.

My girlfriend and I stopped in one day to check out new phones and see if we could save a few bucks and get her a new phone. Sean was awesome, answering the many questions we had, showing us all the new features of all the phones we were talking about, and finding us the best deal on what we were looking for in terms of a plan. We went in looking for information and left with a new phone, better, less expensive plan, and a couple new friends. It became a personal experience that was fun, informative, and awesome. Buyer beware i went into the at&t store in middlebury to get a new phone and ended up with a new number and plan that i didnt want or ask for and now i have to plans the guy tyler f!@k me i normally deal with the black guy but he wasnt there

I will never go back to that store or recommend it to family and friends,the manager there I think his name tag said Cory he is a bully,unprofessional,combative and just down right disgusting beware people if you buy something from that place and want to return it you will be threatened by him that he will call the police. I feel sorry for the other employees that work there because they should be able to work in a safe place but he is crazy,and Im not sure how at&t hires people but whoever hired him should be fired too.

These guys are the best!! Needed to upgrade and add a line. I got a buy one and get one free. Thank god because I wanted to save money!!

In my opinion these guys border on being snakes. I recently went in for an upgrade (after 2.5 years) and to add a line for my 13 year old daughter. I ended up purchasing the S9+ as they told me its buy one get one free. And that the free one will show up as bill credits. My bill comes today, no credit. Not only that, they never mentioned a $30 activation fee for the new line or the big kicker is, they NEVER mentioned a $30 fee for an upgrade??! I specifically asked the sales rep, Hope, what my fees would be. She explained that the new line would be $30 a month, but really $20 as you get a $10 credit for 3 lines. That part did show up on the bill. However she NEVER mentioned an activation fee or an upgrade fee. When my phone arrived 2 days later, I had trouble getting my information from my old Samsung s7 to sync over to this new phone. So I went in for help and I got a different female rep, cant remember her name. I started with her, she said sorry there is nothing I can do to help you. She then called over the guy and he grabs my new phone and starts looking at it like hes actually going to help me. Another customer walks in and he just puts my phone down on the counter and walks away, no words, no explanation. Meanwhile she tries to sell me a $60 case! I walked out of there. Its unfortunate that now I have to travel to do AT+T business cause this outfit is the pits and their staff is lazy and unwilling to help or disclose fees, for the sake of making a commission and honestly, just flat out snake behavior. Beware when going here.

This store was very helpful to me when I came into the store with a tech problem with my phone. The staff was also very friendly, and kind. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I just waited 25 minutes. I came in to pay my bill in person because I had questions about my bill that I wanted answered. After waiting 25 minutes, I had to leave because otherwise I would be late for an appointment. The two customer associates were still working with the same two customers for the entire 25 minutes.

I had two awful back to back trips here both of which resulted in my having to wait over an hour. The employees are nice enough, however are certainly not willing to go the extra mile for a customer. The systems they have in place are so grossly inefficient it makes for a miserable experience. I watched multiple people leave angry in the time I wasted waiting here. I would absolutely not recommend this store.

They dont know how to do a cross-upgrade from an account with multiple numbers. The salesman first retrieved the saved contacts from the number he upgraded me from, so I had to delete them off my phone. I also purchased insurance on my new phone which they incompetently put on the number I cross-upgraded from...so no insurance for me, yet still paying for the insurance...and I have no phone.

We were having trouble with a new iPhone SE that was bought from a big box retailer (not AT&T) but the service was through AT&T. The phone would not receive data. We were literally on the phone for hours with Apple, AT&T corporate and the big box retailer; being passed around and redirected to someone else to solve the problem to no avail. The final solution everyone came up with was to return the phone and start over. That was not a good option since it was my wife’s phone and she was leaving on an oversea trip the next morning. Even though we came in right before closing, Sean at AT&T Middlebury (who was not involved with selling us this phone) was able to diagnose and fix the problem which was the data was still being directed to her old phone. Not only was Sean efficient and effective in his service but he did so in a very gracious and engaging way at a time I’m sure was the end of a long shift. Highest kudos to Sean and the AT&T Middlebury office.
