Been here a few times. Pretty good bacon egg n cheese on an everything bagel. Plenty of sandwich and coffee choices. Yummy latte. Good service, open bathrooms during these covid times 😷.

This is something I don’t like to do and I may even take it down but I asked for a sausage egg and cheese wrap and received a miniature disgrace. The wraps are normally a good size but to make this and charge me $5.79 is a disgrace! I love Manhattan bagel and I hate even writing this but to actually make this and serve it to people is unacceptable.

My hubby often stops here to pick up takeout sandwiches for both of us. My usual order is their avocado BLT--which, TBH, wildly varies in quality. Sometimes a little bacon, sometimes a fine sandwich. Today, though--none. Zero. Nada. When called, they offered to replace the sandwich--which is a drive through traffic across town, something neither of us is willing to do at the moment. They then offered a free sandwich next time were there. No refund was offered--Im sorry, but I want my money back today. I need to eat lunch TODAY. And this whole experience has frankly put me off eating their food again, ever.

Im from NJ and I love stopping here for Manhattan Bagels. I always buy a 1/2 dozen to freeze.

Best bagel shop in Middletown Delaware, great bacon egg and cheese or sausage egg and cheese bagels. About as close as youre going to get to a New York style bagel

I give the bagels a 5 star and the sandwiches a 1 star so 3 on average. They are really stingy with the egg on the sandwich, which I dont get because eggs are like 80 cents a dozen. They also messed up my order. Id return for their bagels but Id never go back for sandwiches.

Had an absolutely great experience here today! I received a chicken salad sandwich, that came with potato salad on the side and a pickle! Also, I got a cup of Cinnamon Winter Blend coffee that tasted great! Staff was very friendly. Store is very inviting and all the food was tasty and fresh. Will be a return customer. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you need to!!!

UPDATE:I was contacted by Manhattan bagels and they have rectified the issue.. Im very impressed that they took the time to read the review and fix the problem. I will definitely be a return customer .I ordered 2 super cinnamon raisin bagels on line but when my husband got home they were 2 French toast bagels, mistakes happen but when I called the store the guy who answered just said he didnt know what happened and didnt offer any resolution.. we were too far away to head back today. Very bad customer service skills, they need to train him better.

Usually get lunch here for me and a coworker one a week. The box specials are great. My favorite is the chicken salad on a croissant with lettuce and tomato. Choice of red skin potato salad, coleslaw or pasta salad. Plus a quarter pickle spear! Fork and napkin already in the box. Ellis island sandwich is awesome too! Either box under $10. Good a filling. Enjoy!

Had a great egg bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The hot chai tea had an unusual taste, like ketchup was mixed into it. Fix that tea and Id give the rating another star.

The pastrami egg bagel special had only 1 slice of pastrami and when I complained they stated thats how we make it and it isnt suppose to look like the picture and than accused me of putting other slice on the 1/2 I had already ate. I wont eat here again. Not the way to handle customer complaint .I wasnt even asking for a refund or another sandwich just informing them so they can make the sandwich better.

I use to like the place....but last time I went i was disappointed. Signs posted that anyone coming in this place must wear their mask at all times while inside. I agree...but when the people fixing your food dont keep their mask on at all times while fixing your food thats not good. I witnessed a worker without her mask on and wiping her nose with her bare hand...and she continued to fix the food!! Ugh!!!! Wash your hands people!!!

Used Googles Chownow app for curbside order and Manhattan Bagel failed! Food was just sitting behind counter on a shelf with no name or receipt showing it was a curbside order. After 45 minutes I had to go in and ask for it, app said 20 minutes.

My family and I are visiting from Florida and we came across Manhattan Bagel for coffee and breakfast sandwiches while were up here. We have had a great experience with every visit and the prices are nice. Its a good place for bagels, breakfasts sandwiches, and coffee. Friendly staff and clean establishment.

Excellent selection and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Large selection of sandwiches made to perfection. I definitely recommend this shop for all your breakfast and lunch needs, oh, and they also have a super ice cream counter for that sweet tooth.

Visited on a weekend and it was quite busy.I also was supposed to hear, despite being really Saturday, that they were already out of a few bagel types. I was ok as they had what I wanted but I can see how you may be disappointed.Staff were fast and friendly.Food was good.Recommended.

We love our Middletown Manhattan Bagel! The food is always great, and most of all the staff is awesome. My preschooler loves coming here because the staff is always so kind to her. Its always clean as well. I can not say enough nice things about Manhattan Bagel in Middletown.

Order 1/2 dozen bagels over the phone and picked up order. Got no cream cheese...then was only given 5 bagels and not 6. Smh

Attached (inside) to a separate soft ice cream shop.Make sure to get there by 2pm, as they tend to shut down the grill significantly earlier than the closing time (3). Bagels often run out as well, so earlier the better.

My Spanish croissant was very soggy, and ingredients way over cooked. Ill give it another try aometime for bagels. I liked the fresh orange juice. This place is good for a quick pit stop, tables inside to eat.

The bagels are amazing and there are so many different kinds to choose from and the place is very nice. The employees were very helpful and nice as well. They had so many people coming and going they ran out of certain kinds of bagels but other than that, it is a great place to go to for breakfast or even lunch. The ice cream is kind of weird. they gave me soft serve and said it was butter pecan. it tasted sort of like butterscotch and definitely had no pecans in it. Pretty disappointing. Maybe okay for vanilla and chocolate but not for flavors

Bagels are yummy! A very good selection if bagel.I had the Chicken salad on Croissant the first time I came and really enjoyed it. the Croissant was so flaky and the salad was good. today I tried the tuna salad wrap....wasnt great. it needed more mayo cause it was dry.

Actually, We went to Uncle Mikes to get an ice cream cone. Delicious!!! Uncle Mikes shares the same building as Manhattan Bagel.

Use to come here a lot. Last time I ordered bagels the lady just finished cleaning up egg shells and then with the same gloves started collecting my bagels. When I asked her to please get a new pair of gloves, they asked, Are you vegan?. To which I replied, No, just dont want salmonella with my breakfast this morning. They were still very puzzled. Needless to say I will not be going back.

This sounds horrible, but its a little bit of a struggle to get the cashier to understand how I want a bagel prepared. Other than that, the quality of the lox and the everything bagel is first rate.

Delicious corn bread muffins and bagel sandwiches. The service is fast and theres usually a table available on a weekend between 8-10am.

The food is good, but the service is terribly slow. It should not take me half an hour to get a simple bagel sandwich to-go. Half of the people in the place were sitting and waiting for their orders. Unacceptable in my opinion.
