I received eyelash extensions by Brielle and she did a phenomenal job!! I recommend her 1000%. She was very friendly and personable. She made sure you were comfortable. She took her time and most important my lashes looked so natural when she finished. As if they were my real lashes. I received so many compliments. I am definitely going back!

I love this salon but everytime I get red in my hair, it fades super quick, and I pay at least $200 or more to get my hair done. When I use other salons, their red doesnt fade for a long time, and it is frustrating because I like this salon. Besides that, I recommend them highly.

I had Jill do my eyelashes. I got a lash lift and tint, I absolutely loved my experience! She talked to me the entire time and made me very comfortable for my first last experience. I highly recommend her, I will be going back to see her again :)

I booked my lash appointment with Brielle, she’s very professional, clean and takes her time. You can tell she really enjoys what she’s doing and is well versed in her craft! I love the fact that Brielle preps your own eyelashes before applying false lashes. I’ve been to other lash techs who do not do this step and I think it makes such a big difference! If you book with Brielle, you won’t be disappointed. I recommend her to anyone.

The salon and staff were really nice. I just didn’t like the way my hair turned out. It looked really nice in the salon lighting, but as soon as I got home I notice my extension and my hair were two different colors. My hair at the top is more of a blonde and then my extensions are like gray. I was there for eight hours and spent over $500 and it’s just very unfortunate I’m not happy with it. I showed my hair dresser a picture and I just feel like my hair looks nothing like what I asked for. I posted picture of what I asked for, and how my hair turned out below. I contacted my hair dresser later that night asking her if I can come in asap to get it fixed. I’m going in this week, so hopefully my hair will look better and I won’t have to spend any more money. I will later update my review after I get it fixed.Update 10/6/20I went back and got the color toned down and it looks so much better. If your going here to get extensions and you prefer really thick and full hair like me, I recommend buying them from a different place. The extensions from them are really thin. I’m use to my thick Bellami clip ins, so I might buy wefts from them and get that hair installed next time.

I was a first time client who will definitely be a long time client. Upon walking in, it is bright with an open floor plan, clean and friendly. They had cute head bands and tee shirts for sale. I was greated and immediately met my stylist. Ceicely (I hope I spelled it right) She took the time to hear my concerns with my horrible helmet of hair. Looked at pictures I had. And together we decided the best cut. I walked out 30 minutes later like a model! I have a cute pixie cut and I am beyond happy! I am booked again for 4 weeks. Im so happy I found my new salon!

So I love getting my lashes done because it’s one of the few things that makes me feel beautiful. I’ve been a loyal customer at Elayne James for almost a year now. The last time I was there, nobody told me about the “3 week rule” where you have to pay almost $200 for a new set if you don’t get a fill in less than 3 weeks. When I went to pay, I was blindsided with this information. I don’t know how I never knew this before, nobody ever said anything. Second, since I’m now fully aware of this “3 week period,” I tried to book an appointment for today or tomorrow, which in their defense, I tried to book later than usual. However, I’m told there’s no possible time before my “3 week period” and I will have to pay almost $200 for my lashes rather than the $75 that comes with a fill. It’s super inconvenient for me because I work a part time job and don’t have the money to be spending $200 every time when my lashes are STILL IN SHAPE for JUST A FILL. I’m upset that even as a loyal customer of a year now, I’m not better taken care of. All I would’ve needed to be happy was a “we can’t schedule you until Thursday but since you reached out it’ll be a fill rather than a whole new set.” That’s all I would’ve needed. It just makes me wonder what the point of continuously going back here is if I don’t get any recognition for being a regular, any flexibility. Not sure if I will be returning, but it was a good year before this.

Staff is friendly and the salon is very clean. 1st appointment was scheduled for a strand test and balayage. Reception assured me that I would be able to get both services done the same day.However, after getting the strand test done, the stylist stated that she was double booked and they wanted to reschedule me. I explained that I scheduled this appointment way in advance and that the receptionist assured me that my color would be done as well. After 20 minutes of waiting, they were able to accommodate me and 6 hours later, my balayage was done.2nd appointment was today at 10 a.m. - got there early per the text message request. Waited in reception area for 15 minutes after my appointment just to be told that the stylist was having car problems and wanted to reschedule me. 🙄I understand things come up and Im pretty flexible around finding a solution. But constantly being asked to reschedule is disheartening. I chose to decline due to not feeling like a valued customer. If Im going to spend a small fortune on my hair (which you will pay here), I expect my time to be respected and to be treated as a priority. Pretty disappointed.PS, the receptionist was super sweet and offered me a discount. I declined that as well. I rather just go somewhere else.

I love this place. They are super clean and have done a great job of making sure everything is sanitary with the concern of COVID around. Alex M does my hair and lashes and I love her work! She is always professional but personable as well. I get hybrid lashes done and feel instantly beautiful afterwards. I have NEVER had an issue. As long as you follow the at home care youll love them. When it comes to hair Alex really pays attention to detail and if she isnt satisfied she will make sure its right before you leave. I have allergies to hair dye and Alex always remembers and is extra careful to ensure I am comfortable while I am at the salon and when I get home. Everyone at Elayne James has always been helpful, professional and courties.

This was my second visit to Elayne James to have my haircut. I was unable to submit a comment after the first visit since I did not realize this is the preferred method and not directly on the Web site. My first visit, approximately six weeks ago was fantastic. After not having my hair cut for over six months, my hair was a mess. It had no shape and it was difficult to figure out what it should look like. Fortunately, I had some recent pictures to use as a guide. I asked for Kathryn since my wife has used her before and she was very happy with Kathryn’s work. Kathryn did an amazing job the first time with nothing as a guide other than some photos. The cut looked like what I had been getting in New Jersey for the last many number of years and in some aspects even better. My second visit which was a few days ago was just as great as the first. I tried to color the underneath of my hair purple and of coarse it turned out lopsided so I went to Elaine James to get it fixed. Jodi did a fantastic job evening it out and blending it so there wasn’t a blunt line across. I love it!

I got a great hair style for the summer!

Went in to get a mani and pedi with gel polish the main women had an family emergency and had to leave they had a women who does not even do nails just learning to do nails painted my hands and feet they didn’t even cut my cuticles or buff my nails before they put the gel polish on five minutes after washing my hands the gel all peeling off they didn’t take all my old polish off my toes before painting them and the pink is all showing through

Yesterday 6/27 and I got my hair trimmed, roots re-colored and styled by Alecia and she was amazing. The service was wonderful by all staff from the time I entered and the time I left. They followed safety precautions via CDC and made sure their clients and staff was safe at all times. I will definitely go back and see my girl Alecia. I highly recommend and the best part, it’s adorable.

I have been going here for three years and I love it! My stylist Morgan Baxter has done beyond amazing work to my hair! We have gone from brown, to red, to ash blonde and all the way back. She also does my lashes and my brows. Can’t say enough great things about Morgan, and the great customer service I have revived here every single visit!

I came in feeling run down and beat up. I had been contemplating a change and really wanted to go for it. I knew the minute I saw Kat that it was going to be great!Dealing with years of chronic facial and head pain makes it impossible to feel nice or pretty and make up is not an option either. After getting my hair going, Kat answered all my questions about eye lashes and brows so I don’t ever have to torture myself again.She was super gentle with my head. I love the awesome cut and beautiful purple. I traded that blah brown in for vibrant and amazing!I couldn’t be happier!I also made an appointment for my eyebrows to be done with Henna. No more pencil, no more torture. No more crooked lines. I love them. Why be miserable when you can have beautiful, perfect, ones? Thank you!My nails were fixed, I had a nice manicure as I had gotten there early and wanted the acrylic off. Not soaking in formaldehyde, they were gently removed and no electric tool. My hands are much happier, thank you!And I made an appointment for some lashes as I cannot do mascara since the pulling with the wand doesn’t work for my face.Chronic facial pain causes long term depression and looking better is helping me feel better. If you are at home feeling lousy, go now! I feel a lot better since I did some major maintenance at Elayne James. :) I needed some color TLC.

My cut the helix was 3x as much as the advertised price, no explanation was given for why. The hair stylist didnt even style my hair. She said that I might feel more comfortable styling it myself at home, so of course at that point, I did feel uncomfortable and chose to end my experience. If you have naturally curly hair, I suggest Beauty Bar by Seiko because they know what they are doing and it is a fraction of the price.

Alecia was the best! Elayne James Salon really took every precaution to make sure all clients were safe! Everyone kept a safe distance, very clean, sanitizer at the door, everyone wore face masks, and even opened the door for you! It was a great experience and I cant wait to have Alecia brighten my hair up again! Shes amazing with color!

The staff is friendly- but thats it. Service was sub-par & WAY over priced. I had to return back to the salon for them to attempt to fix my hair- which was so bad, I wouldnt go in public. (that still didnt fix the problem, so I had to try to fix it myself). It was so bad, I actually feel like they committed a CRIME by charging me for it.

This is one of the best salons around. Alex is amazing, always takes her time and make sure you love your hair. This past oct Alex did my makeup and hair for my wedding and the bridal parties, she even wound up doing some of our family members last minute. Everyone raves about them!

LOVED my experience last weekend at Elayne James. They are handling business alongside COVID very well and keeping everything clean. I saw Krysten, and she was amazing!! My consultation with her was in depth and clear so we were both on the same page. She kept closely to what I asked for based off of inspiration pictures I showed her but still tailored the hairstyle to me. It was great because she did a color I never would have picked for myself (getting out of my comfort zone) but it looks amazing. Ive gotten so many compliments! Ill definitely be returning! I was very skeptical going in as they had messed my hair up the first time I went in but they sent me a gift certificate asking for a second chance and I decided to give it to them and boy was I glad I did. I saw Jodi not only is she extremely friendly but she created flawless highlights on my hair. Thank you Jodi! I will see you again in seven weeks for my touch up! I honestly had the best experience here. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! I got eyelash extensions done by Teal and she did a phenomenal job and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! Though after a few days I realized the volume eyelash extension werent for me, this salon is definitely one I will probably come back to for natural eyelash extensions instead.

The staff was very friendly, the salon decor was upbeat and refreshing. Emily gave me an awesome shampoo and condition. She also did a fabulous job on my cut, short hair is tricky. I also liked the fact that the other stylists were helping each other out, will definitely be going back.

Love, love, love my color. Jodi did an amazing job of conditioning my super dry and abused pandemic neglected hair. The salon is doing a great job keeping everyone safe too. The only drawback is that the salon is a little pricey, but I think its worth it.

I am beyond happy with my day of pampering by Morgan. I have had so many compliments the last few weeks about my lashes!! She does such a phenomenal job. My hair was a mess before Covid Quarantine started. Rosa had her work cut out for her and she did an amazing job fixing my color, covering my greys and giving me a great cut. Love it!

When you change hairdressers, its always a little traumatic, but the people at Elayne James were very welcoming. I came from another state and was desperate to find someone to tame my overdue-for-a-cut-and-color locks. Ive been to the salon three times now. Jody took the time to get special training to color my hard-to-color red hair just right. The color is so natural, and it lasts without fading. It took a few tries, but once I came in with a picture for the haircut, she took the time to get it right and nailed the look. The change in locale made my hair dry and frizzy, and she found the products to tame the frizz too, without breaking the bank. The only complaint I have is that they have all kinds of specials and extra services and the price can add up quickly. If you let them know to keep it simple in terms of price, though, they respect that.

My 13 year old daughter had a restorative hair treatment and a blowout. The staff treated her like a queen. They engaged her in conversation and everyone - the women greeting her, the woman shampooing her hair, and the woman giving her the blowout - made her feel so special. I love this salon for the talented, lovely staff, the fabulous quality of treatments, and the amazing selection of wonderful products. Thank you!

Krysten was my hair stylist today and she did a fantastic job on my hair! It took awhile which was expected since my hair is super long! I got a balayage done to add dimension to my dark hair and she was able to tone it to a cool color to eliminate brassiness! Usually it’s too warm for my taste from other salons, but I loved the color she did on my hair! I’m very happy with the outcome of my hair, her patience during the whole process, and the salon’s health standards! I’ll definitely be coming back with whatever services I may need! I have been coming here for almost 4 years to see Leah. My hair was destroyed when I had my first visit with her from a different salon. Within in a year my hair was extremely healthy and grown more then I thought it would within that year. Leah always does a fantastic job with my hair and I have referred quite a few people to her as well and, they have all been happy with her work. I highly recommend this salon as everyone is extremely personable with their clients, as well as highly recommending Leah. You wont be disappointed with your experience here.

This place is amazing. I started with Annette for a manicure and pedicure. She is a talented artist who clearly loves what she does. She keeps current with all the techniques and products. Then I started with Meg for killer cut and color. Salon is clean and everyone is warm and friendly.

Had my hair done by Cecilia. I had 8 inches cut off and of course was feeling a little nervous when I got there. Cecilia was awesome! She not only made me feel comfortable but gave me the most amazing cut. It was exactly what I asked for. The gentleman at the counter was also wonderful. I will definitely be going back .

I just suggest if they are charging for services you make sure you are got them. I was billed for a glaze. My hair had color applied and very few highlights. and washed. Trim of my hair and curling product applied. Air dried. Did not sit for a glaze treatment

Everyone is so nice, but they don’t follow pictures very well. I got my hair and makeup done. My eye makeup was nothing like how I wanted it, I honestly thought it made me look like a creepy doll. The only good part about it was the eyelashes. When I got my hair done, I showed her a picture & she kind of based it off of it, but still was nothing like how I wanted it. I ended up taking it out when I got to the car, and redid it myself. It was a waste of money and I will not return.

I got my hair done with a wedding party here. The brides only direction was to wear an updo, so thats what I told my stylist. She went above and beyond creating me a beautiful, unique style! All of our hair looked fabulous and stayed perfectly in place.

Nice place. I really enjoyed meeting my stylist Carly and Dean at the front desk. Honestly they sold me on the salon itself. I showed Carly a picture of what I wanted and within minutes she was making it happen. It looks absolutely beautiful. She went above and beyond!!

I have been a customer for many years. I use to have appointments after work from New Castle.from Now I am retired and have more flexibility with appointment times. I have never been disappointed whether my hair was short or long, regardless of color. I genuinely enjoy the attention from the reception staff, hairdressers and the owner.

I went to this salon for the first time today as a walk in, they did everything they could to fit me and re arrange the schedule, I wanted a cut and a design undercut and they were completely honest and told ms they couldnt do it which made me happy because they were very up front and honest. So warm and welcoming. I had rosa do my hair today and she was so great ! So friendly ! So in tune with knowing exactly what I wanted ! My first experience here wasnt the best for nails, but I gave it a second try and it was much improved. I always love coming to Elayne James. Teal has always been my stylist and I absolutely adore her. All the services I’ve ever had done are 100% worth it. I’ve recommended Teal to a number of people. The atmosphere there is fun and relaxing. Everyone is very friendly.

Rosa took her time with me. She asked a lot of questions and came up with a solution for me that worked!I have blown so much money in the past year trying to find someone who was competent and my hair just kept looking and feeling worse!I finally found Rosa!She knows what she is doing!My hair hasn’t looked this good in over a year!I’m sticking with her and now I am bringing my girlfriend along as well!!

Emma is very good at doing my blonde highlights and knows how to cut and style my hair very well. When it came to my most recent trip over the weekend, Emma was booked so I tried someone new, Ryan. I was skeptical because I wanted to go red this time and I wanted a REALLY TRUE BRIGHT RED and at her young age, I was concerned about her experience but let me tell you that age is just a number and she gave me the color I was truly looking for! Very happy with the outcome! All three of my visits now. 2 with Emma for cut and highlights and 1 with Ryan for cut and color.

Saturday was my first visit at the salon. Rosa colored and trimmed my hair and I LOVE IT! The salon is clean, cute and offers awesome products and services. I’m excited for my next appointment - lashes!
