I have literally never left a review anywhere so that shows how HORRIBLE this pharmacy is. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I have only been here a handful of times for a reason. My prescription was accidentally sent here today, unfortunately, and it took literally 15 minutes to get my prescription that was sent in THE DAY BEFORE. I had gotten there pretty early so I have them the benefit of the doubt but they were still counting my medication when it was sent in at 11 am the previous day!! The staff always look lost and confused, their equipment is outdated, and they aren’t open for very long. Do yourself a favor and if you need a pharmacy in Middletown, go to CVS. They have longer hours of operation, I get my medication fast, and their staff are kind and knowledgeable.
In trying to get a recalled medication replaced, I was told that they dont sell the specific LOT # of my medication. When I told them they did indeed sell it to me, they said they couldnt replace it for me because corporate didnt call me about the recall even though its all over the news. I asked for the number for corporate so I could get permission to get the medication replaced and they gave me the wrong number. When calling back the store, the woman I originally spoke to 5 minutes earlier all of a sudden didnt know who I was or why I was now upset over her poor customer service and lack of caring for the customers they sell medications to. The recall is due to carcinogens in the medication. You might think they would give a S#^t about their customers. On the phone now with corporate!
The staff at the pharmacy are nice, but they have a little bit too relaxed of an atmosphere that comes across as a little unprofessional. The covid-19 vaccine was easy to get though.
I received a call stating my Prescription were ready and that they take lunch from 1:30 -2:00. I get there at 1:22 Ring tnr bell and they tell me they are eating lunch, come back in 30 mins. I tell them its not 1:30 yet, since I dragged my self out of bed could I PLEASE get the prescriptions. NO, come back later. My Husband goes 3 hours later to get the prescriptionS and comes home. I open the bag, only 1 was given. I call and ask why I did not receive 2 and was told ummm, maybe it wasnt ready, you can come get out now I think maybe its time to change my Pharmacy of choice.
Went here for the 2nd Covid Vaccine for my 14 year old daughter. Dr (unsure exact title) took us in asked two questions about the vaccine he was to administer and then took the needle abruptly striking my daughter with no pre-empting. Typically they take you through what is happening or tell you to take breath. Something. Didn’t say a word to us after about possible symptoms, nothing. I have never been treated with such disregard in a medical setting and especially for a younger girl, it was traumatizing for me as a parent. For management purposes this was a vaccine given on Tuesday the 13th and it was a male Dr. I would hope that something will be done because no one should ever be treated like that.I will say the first dr we had for her first vaccine was wonderful.
The Pharmacy staff is amazing and fix every issue that come up with my prescriptions. Sometimes they are short staffed but they still manage to help all the angry and rude customers in very professional manner. The sales floor staff are all helpful and kind. Great job everyone!!
Clean, not crowded, fast in/out. Watch out - pharmacy is really busy with covid shots. Very glad they are but time consuming.
They are doing drive up Covid-19 tests, and allow the line to wrap around the parking lot and let people wait hours (in my case 2 hours) until 5 minutes before their lunch (12p) and then start going to cars to turn away people without appointments. I understand its a crazy time, but signage that they dont do drive up testing, staff to guide cars and/or inform them they need appointments. Plus better mannered staff with less attitude and more patience would do a world of difference.
Every interaction I have ever had with this pharmacy is sub par at best. I only resort to this place when I need to pick something up on the way home from work. They are not honest about the time a prescription is received, It take hours to fill a very simple prescription. They also are lazy about figuring out anything to do with insurance coverage. Ive had great experiences with other walgreens, this place is just not properly operated.
Due to the customer service or cashier, one cashier in particular, without fail, every time I have shopped there, gets something wrong with my purchase. Today was the last straw for me. Her name is Holly... Only go to her when you have less than 5 items and one payment method. Dont get me wrong, she is a very sweet lady but she is not tech savvy and is unapologetic when she has caused an error.. She should just tend to the isles and not the register. I will continue to shop here... I will not have her trending my purchase.
Terrible experience. Waited 20 minutes for a scheduled vaccine then they were rude and wouldnt give me the card. Just nasty attitude towards us. Its why I never come here. You should look at the reviews up here and fix the attitudes of your employees.
Had my wisdom teeth out my dentist sent over 2 rx one being a narcotic. Per pharmacy they didnt have it. I was told to call MD office, I called the office they said it went through on there end. I ask the pharmacy to call and all they said we the MD was going to call them back. I then reached back out to my dentist office and they were told the RX would be re sent. I was told I have to wait an hour for my meds. Worst pharmacy ever!!
Although every interaction with the in store staff is great I have to give a scathing review of the pharmacy. Apparently the persons entering data for perscriptions cannot understand how a calendar works, and this prohibits customers from getting the correct dose as prescribed by their doctor and covered by their insurance correctly.
Don’t go here for covid testing. Made an appointment for 4:15, waited an hour in line then was told they weren’t doing any more tests. If they spent less time trying to rearrange the cars in line maybe everyone could have gotten tested.
Absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used. I miss Rite Aid. It takes FOREVER to get someone on the phone, it takes hours and hours to fill out prescriptions when they have our medication in stock. I get different answers and reasons from everyone not to mention some people are extremely rude. They ran out of my medication, gave me 5 days worth and said they will have the rest the following day only to find out that day that they couldnt get more from their distributor until the next month so they dont know what to do now since they already partially filled it. Do yourselves a favor and find a different pharmacy!
I highly recommend people go to the CVS across the street than go to this Walgreens. The native American guy that works there is very rude every time I go there, doesnt greet anyone, doesnt smile, and always has a mean look on his face. He charged me for 2 old spice body wash bottles but I only had 1. I ran back in to grab the second bottle I was charged for, and he said yeah take it, but didnt apologize for the error.
This is one of my favorite locations. I love that they hire staff with special needs. The customer service is great and I love their clearance section!
Likable pharmacy
I went there the other day to get medicine for my grandmother and i buy something there. Then i went to the ATM by the door. And took money out and i went back in line to ask if they can break change for me. For a $40.00 because i needed $30.00 out of it. And the cashier was like Oh you need to buy something before i can open the drawer. I was like i ready buy something. All i need is for you to break $40 so i have 30 and i would be left with $10. They give me a hard time so i went and grab a soda. And went back in line again so i can finally get the change i needed. There customer service is horrible. Its ridiculous you have to buy something to get change out of the register like hello you have key for it. This why like CVS because you dont have to buy something just to break change.
I have Always been impressed by the Helpful Folks that work in this store . Thanks Walgreens .
CVS ALWAYS screws up my prescriptions. I have to go there for long term scripts, but whenever I need something short term I can always rely on walgreens to have it ready correctly and always in a timely matter. Sometimes the drive through is slow, but that is usually due to the driver having issues and not going inside for that! Front staff is also great, store usually has the products I need. Clean. Friendly.
The pharmacy closes at 6 pm on Saturday and opens at 10am on Sunday. How convenient is that?😡Thats why I go to CVS.
Pharmacy is terrible will never use this pharmacy again the staff is rude and always have to wait days for my prescription. Will not recommend
Drive thru needs HELP! AWFUL.
I used to love this Walgreens pharmacy staff, but recently they have changed many of the staff members and their service has become the absolute worst!!! They cant get one script right! They have even dispensed wrong medication on multiple occasions. One of which could have done serious damage if I took it with another med. There is one pharmacist that seems to have it together, but the rest of the staff is horrible and clueless. I am so disappointed and discouraged at this point. Get it together Walgreens!
Great selection of everything you always wanted, but for decent prices. Staff is halfway; you either get a friendly flower or miserable miser
I love Walgreens! Especially their pharmacy staff. Everytime I pick up my prescriptions they remember me by name and they make sure I never have to wait more than 15min when I need a prescription that I may need that day! Their all very excellent. I choose them over CVS anyday.
I agree with the other customer. I choose Walgreens over CVS anyday.
One word: Excellent!
Great photo center
Overcharged us $460 because they didn’t apply all the insurance options.......
