I hit a pot hole on my way back to work. Blew out 2 tires. Luckily I was not to far from the office. The guys at work got the tires off and we brought them in. The employees at discount tire are always so friendly and helpful. My car is back to 4 round tires again. I highly recommend Discount tire on Rankin hywy.

TPIM light announcing low tire pressure came on in my vehicle so I went to this Discount in Midland Texas. Nice gentleman met me at the door and asked if he could help. I told him my problem and he came to my car and checked all four tires, then directed me to the air pump where he personally check for an obvious leak in one tire (visually only) and made sure they were all at proper pressure. He read the tread gauge and checked them all for unusual signs of wear problems before wishing me a great day. This is a busy store and has always been kind and efficient to this little old lady.

Absolutely do not use these guys. Sold me two different tires when I bought 5. Then had a blowout 148 miles later on a brand new trailer tire and had to buy a tire in a small town. Would not offer anything other than buying back the tire. They sell cheap retreaded tires for trailers expect a problem. This is from a lifelong supporter of discount tire. Now that name really rings true. And didn’t even give back the warranty money.Now today i went in on to get a tire for my mother in laws truck and they out tire in wrong position AND they lost the center cap and then had the gall to tel me to my face it wasn’t on even though they looked at it and me and my business partner looked at it.

Great spot quick and personnel is always courteous and professional. Always recommend it.

Absolutely amazing service! Highly recommend! I had gotten a flat while traveling from Dallas to Big Bend and the nearest discount tire was over an hour away. I called and explained what had happened and wanted to make sure they were open still when I got there. Once I walked in the Gentleman at the front by the name of Rafael was quick in helping me, even after having a few issues due to not finding the warranty. He was very patient with me in locating it, and I was able to get a new tire.The staff was quick and did an excellent job. Thank you for the great experience!

We have been going to Discount Tire Company for several years now. We always get our tires there.As most who read these reviews know, we live in oilfield country. So best thing to do is set an appointment.Now, I made a mistake and tried a different tire company. Pay $50.00 now and pay weekly or monthly. I needed rims for my commercial truck and because I had 90 days to pay I got them. I paid them off in 3 weeks. Anyhow I needed them to look at my tires and they told me that they were out of warranty. So had to buy new tires. Those were the front 2. Then the 4 rear ones went out to. Needless to say, Ill never use them again.....Thank you Justin general manager and thank you Troy for really helping us out here at This is Built in America LLC....this year we have bought plenty of tires for our trailers and trucks. You treat us as though we were a million dollar company.... thank you. Thank you thank you.....

Ive been to this Discount Tire twice now and always recieve a high level of service. Its in the middle of oilfield territory, lots of tires get damaged here in West Texas, so, guaranteed it will be busy, but, I have no problem waiting for quality work. And quality is what you will receive here. Kudos to the staff that work hard and maintain a high level of service. 5 Stars.

These guys were busy which is a good thing for them and it means people go here. I always go to Discount Tire because of their customer service and the way they treat people.Im from Dallas and was passing through when I needed some lug nuts. Unfortunately, they didnt have it but the kid was able to tell me the size of the lug and even showed me that the manufacturer and the size were printed on the product itself.

Paul the senior assistant manager was great he helped me find the perfect tires for my vehicle without over charging me. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy and taken care of!

Youre always going to wait some plural number of hours, but thats not their fault. Midland is just awful like that. But at least service is always great and they are nice.

Ive never had a bad experience at a discount tires, and this location was no exception. Service was friendly and helpful, and prices were low.Its busy but that cant really be helped, and theres lots to do within walking distance.

Great service. The wait can be a little long, I recommend getting an appointment, but the wait is long because of the good service and support. I have never had an issue and even get emails to remind me to get my free balancing and rotation. Highly recommend.

Great overall experience, except for the long wait, very busy establishment but still received one on one service, Paul was great he went the extra mile to make sure my vehicle was put back together properly after finding two bad lug bolts on my vehicle, made a special trip to purchase the proper tools to fix the problem, very high safety initiative.I give this store 5 stars for being clean and therough in such a fast paced Environment, keep up the great work, look forward to to seeing these guys again in about 20,000 miles for my next set of tires.👍👍

We were traveling and our tire got a piece of metal in it. We pulled in and the staff was all courteous and very knowledgable and got us back on the road in less than an hour. They are taking all covid precautions, so feel safe to stop there!

Purchased tires on line. Had them shipped there to be installed. They called me to confirm, twice, once to let me they were in and confirm appointment. Second was day before to confirm. I arrived. They were busy. No surprise. But I was still in and out with 4 new rims and tires completely installed under 1.5 hours. They were polite and professional throughout. Would recommend and return.

It was a great, easy experience. Great customer service, even melted my heart a bit. Saw one of the employees stop and pray with an elderly man. Made me feel good.

Antonio Gutierrez was my salesperson. I told him my driving habits, needs, and wants, and also explained that I was on a budget. He made several recommendations that fit my price point, and discussed each in detail to help me make the best decision for my personal needs. After I made my choice, he informed me of things to look for with initial and long term use of my new tires. Very thankful, and pleased!

Great service friendly staff and just a professional bunch of people. The only thing is they open later than the Midland population get up and goes to work. The lines are always long and they close way too early. I would believe that it would be better suited if they were operating from 7am to 8pm. Just my opinion

Had a great experience on behalf of Discount Tire this morning. Especially Brandon who assisted me. I showed up before they opened, with several people already here. I was helped and in line within 15-20 minutes of them opening. Told it will be an hour for me tires to be rotated and done. Which is okay, because there are people in front of me. Great experience, will come to this location when its time to replace my tires.

Went to another discount on loop 250 and wasnt even acknowledged. Told these guys here I just needed my spare put on, they got it on right away and I was on my way. Good group of guys, and hard working

Discount tire was on point. Dons customer service was top notch. Made sure everything was taken care of and double checked it with me before I paid. Answered the million questions I asked about pricing and options for tires.Will be back the next time a midland pothole swallows my car and destroys a rim. I’m visiting here from Houston & I was upset about the deceptive information given to me at another motor vehicle business. I walked in Paul greeted me; disregarded my anger by explaining what is intent was; & help me resolve my issue. Paul is very professional & knows his stuff. He educated me a lot about tires & how to determine the production, tire depth; explained thoroughly about traction. I was priced a decent amount for my replacement tires & I feel great about my purchase. The staff are super great & attentive to every customer walking in. If you’re in town visiting, definitely do business with this location.

Mmmm, I dont want to judge harshly but this is definitely not where you want to go if youre in a hurry. I got there at 7:47 (early) and I left at 8:26. I never even made it to the counter. The people did seem very nice, but the wait is ridiculously long.

Had the tires that I wanted for a good price. Salesman that I dealt with was rude and even after I told him exactly what I wanted, he continued to ask me the same questions repeatedly. When the service was completed and I arrived to pick up my vehicle, they notified me that I had $80 worth of additional charges that no one had said anything about. However, after a brief discussion I was not forced to pay for the neccessary parts.

Employees are great. Professional in their work. Wait time can be long but they do their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

Went by to get a tire re-balanced (right-rear) and I was in and out. My concerns were addressed promptly. I was informed that if the car didn’t feel (drove smooth), they would go ahead and rebalance all 4 at no additional charge.

I scheduled a time to get my tires on, they called to confirm the day before which was nice. The day of I had a bit of wait past my appointment but once I got to the counter and checked in, they let me know they were pulling my tires and got my car right in. It took them 45 minutes to change all 4 tires and they sent me a text letting me know when my car was ready. Every staff member I talked to knew what they were doing and talking about. They offered to bring my car to the front for me and everything. About a month later I got a nail in my tire and this morning I took it to them to get fixed and it took them half an hour to get it fixed and replaced. I will definitely keep coming back to this store and reccomend it to everyone as well!

Ive dealt with this particular store on multiple occassions over the years because I live just down the road. The staff is always professional and courteous. I needed a tire fixed and decided to change out the whole set due to aging. Definitely recommend this establishment.

The people there are great. There is always atleast a 2 hour wait when I go there. The other location off of 250 loop usually has an even longer wait.

12/29/2015Before going to the store I called in for a quote to replace all my tires. My car uses different front and rear tires, so after calling a couple of places, Discount Tire did have both sizes in stock which was a relief since I needed new tires ASAP. (Other tire places said my rear tires had to be ordered - including Walmart) I paid exactly what was quoted! Awesome customer service! Will definitely return when needed! The wait was less than 1 1/2 hrs which is understandable. Thank you!

Had two slow leaks on the car. Stopped by and these guys were crazy busy, yet one worker took the initiative and stopped everything he was doing to help air up my tires. I know it may sound small, but its these little details that bring me back to Discount for all my tire needs!

Just had all four tires on my car replaced here at this location service was great very professional and polite. They were pretty busy but had my car finished within an hour and a half and my total was 386.00 not bad in my book thanks guys!

I had an appointment so the service was fast. There were alot of people and not enough seating. Its also not kid friendly so moms be prepared 😉!

Way to busy for me that day. The staff member who was helping me out was supposed to go see if they had a set of tires for me. Instead he went and helped out another client and pretty much just forgot about me. I sat there for a couple of min and just left. Ive never had that happened to me at a Discount Tire.

Great company for fixing flats for free. They have sold me tires for most of the vehicles Ive owned in the past.

I have used discount tire several times before and Ive never had something like this happen before in any other one. I got a blowout and changed the tire to my spare, I drove to discount tire and bought a new tire. But the salesman told me that I would have to put the new tire on my car myself when I tried handing him my keys. Ive never had a discount tire tell me to do that, they always put the tire on themselves if I bring the car in with the spare on.

I told them I was in a rush and they worked fast to get me out the door quickly with a new tire. I'll most likely be back here next time I need tires.Edit: I came back a month later after great service the first time. Again, I was in a hurry and they worked fast to get me out the door ASAP. The same person helped me as last time and even remembered my name. They could fix my tire, so they didn't even charge me. The great customer service will keep me coming back, thanks Adrian!

They are great once you get past the lines. There is often a 3 hour wait. Its ok if you plan for it. They need to build more stores in the Midland area to ease the long lines and wait times.

Was a long time loyal customer. But it got to a point where its too much for them and cant handle it. Long wait times, bad customer service, tire rotation not done (i mark my tires wherever i go) . Yall were my tire place but it got to a point where the look on The staffs face made it seem customer was a bother. Decided to switch and by far it has been the best decision i have made!!! And i was not a customer that had tires out on credit. Idk of it was because every set i had was paid upfront n i made all the services up to date idk what it was but i felt like i was not getting what i paid for.

They were swamped when we had our tires put on but once they finally got to us it took about 25 minutes for a complete check and 4 new tires put on. They also have warranty as well. My husband was very pleased.

People were very helpful

Took my truck in and told them the tire was going flat fast. So They would need to air it up before they took drove it in to fix it. They called 3 hours later and said the tire was ruined. They never aired the tire up drove on it flat. They had the balls to tell me I did it. No sir when I brought it up to you I told you what needed to be done. Did your guys air it up like I said before they took it in the shop. He said no they didnt. We sir they drove on a flat tire and made sharp tuns on that flat tire. That right there will mess up a tire and the rim will cut the wall of the tire.

Every time I go to a discount tire, I always get great service. I just left the location off of Big Spring, here in Midland. I had a nail in one of my brand new Nitto tires, and went there to get it out. I didnt know if it was in deep or not, but Oscar took care of me. He said itd be an hour wait, but went to check it out. I lucked out that it was very superficial. He saved me at least an hour by doing it. This is why I keep going back and getting tires from Discount Tire. Thank you all. Keep up the great work!

Discount tire has always given great service. They only deal with tires and wheels so any other work has to be taken else where but they provide a great service to me.

My recent visit to discount tire on Rankin Hwy was your standard tire shop visit. The setup I have on my work truck is 35x20 dually with a ridiculous offset, these are not forgiving to a tech in any way, half the tire shops I go to will not touch them for liability reasons. That being said there was some issues once I got home. I had that typical “Here we go pulling teeth to get the service I paid for moment.” I could not believe the Phenomenal customer service I received from Justin who I assume is a manager. He went above and beyond his responsibilities and seemed genuinely concerned for a customer who’s already long gone, that doesn’t happen anymore. Justin, Broc and all the guys I seen hustling out there put some faith back into customer service for me. I would recommend Rankin Hwy DT to everyone A++ Fine Job
