Amazing place with kind staff

I love Treasures on Townsend. I buy all my birthday gifts, housewarming gifts, holiday gifts as well as treasured items for my home and vintage jewlery for friends, family and myself. The shop has such a beautiful elegant atmosphere andit truly is my favorite shop in Midland.

People here are so helpful. Love their estate sales but their shop is filled with great buys.

Yes terribly over-priced and unreasonable too. the owner gets frustrated at entertaining any type of discount. She gets the last word or youre out. Keep doing business that way, you wont be around long. Usually a polite NO will suffice. I love being at a tag sale when the sellers want to educate you on what something cost in the store brand new when theyre selling it to you used, especially when it comes to textiles. Owner running the sale refused to sell me my items with cash in my hand because I responded to her comment and said that the used stair treads werent worth the half off price to me either. Got to have a little tougher skin than that .... when she wouldnt take my money, I told her youll be packing it up or donating it. She said ill sell it. You have an ethical obligation to home owner to make them money. This woman told me shell just resell it. Ive always read that thats pretty unethical to knowingly not take offers so that you can go and resell it at your store and make your own money later. There were an awful lot of items left in that home: Textiles used kids toys, Beanie Babies, bathroom amenities, nobody wants that stuff for the prices they had. Theyll be packing it up. Good business sense means get something for it at least, instead of throwing it out. Can tell this is a rookie operation dont see him around Bay City too often. Beware if you are using them.I also want to add that Ive been going to the estate sales in this city for years and none of the local companies whove been around have ever acted this way when you ask for a cheaper discount - especially when it comes close to closing time and on the 2nd day... that makes more business sense and is more professional and satisfies the owner of the estate. I dont know where you think your stuff cost that much money regardless of what it cost new, you can go to TJ Maxx and buy just about anything at discount-NEW! I wouldnt even give them one star but I dont think I can give them zero stars. I think the idea of an estate sales to clear out not pack it up again.Thats okay she saved me from spending about $25 that I was going to spend on an Impulse buy anyway. Didnt need a thing.

Frustrating when a business doesnt stick to there listed hours. Went on a Saturday when it was shown as open on google.

I was there at 11am on a Saturday, the store was closed. The hours are 11am-4pm mon-sat
