I have been buying my jewelry from Kay for years now, but the last few times I’ve been to this location, I have had nothing but bad experiences. The workers are not helpful, and they “forget” to send my husbands ring in for repairs last year and held on to it for 3 months, despite my weekly calls for updates and reminders, of which they did not answer questions I had and admitted to not even sending the ring in. I will be finding a new company to work with for future jewelry sales.

Bought my ring on February 2020, took it for inspection and resize in August 2020, the girl told us will be ready by 9/4/2020 and that will send me emails and notification when back at the store, just received an email when arrived to their shop and that was it, needles to say my husband called around 9/2/2020 to find out if the ring will be ready as scheduled on Friday 9/4/2020 and they apologize but there was a delay and bla bla bla but that should be ready the following week, they asked my husband my email and that they will notify me....we were waiting and waiting for email and nothing. My husband got tired of waiting and called on Monday 9/14/2020 and they simply said the ring was there since 9/8/2020 and that they sent an email which THEY DIDNT!!!!! So we travelled the 50 miles from our house to this location and there was a sign in the store stating they were closed and will be opening soon, we are still mad and very dissatisfied with their customer service, it’s the worse I ever experienced. So here I am without my ring and who knows when they are opening the store, so much disrespect for their customers, first time I buy a piece of jewelry here and definitely the last one.

I walked in, greeted very professionally by beautiful Marina Gaona. I couldnt be more pleased with the service and hospitality from her. I will definitely be back to this store and ask for Marina. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and was very comfortable to communicate with. I would recommend this store with the help from Marina!!!!

Greg helped me and my husband find me a beautiful engagement ring and wedding band. All employees were so helpful and friendly. Over all wonderful experience best experience I’ve had and ANY jewelry store in midland. Thank you Greg!

The start of the purchase went great. I was given their undivided attention, they helped me pick out a ring that best suited me and showed me a few different options. Once I had my ring picked out they told me it would be ready in two weeks. At the two week mark they called and told me the ring was lost in transit and it would be another two weeks. Once again, at the two week mark my ring was “lost in transit” I told the girl I didn’t want it anymore and to refund me. The manger got on the phone and was very apologetic and convinced me to keep it. Two weeks later my ring was finally in. I went to pick it up, they gave it to me in a small baggie and sized it wrong. Horrible experience.

BUYER BEWARE!! If you do not purchase their overpriced “service plan” they still get their money by charging an outrageous amount for sizing without disclosure. I have spent a lot of money there but they lost me forever over deceptive business practices.

We have been Kay shoppers/account holders for years. We went to Zales first because they have a 30% of sale but wasnt able to trade in my current ever us because we bought it at Kays so we walked over to Kays (in midland mall). The short haired lady said the only sale on the ever us in any of the 4 stores in the mall was 20% when my husband said no walk across aisle to zales and youll see 30% off, she insisted that it had to be proven and then called my husband a jerk. Really! I think the owner needs to find better help, I will send an email about the experience as well.

So, I sent in my necklace to get a repair lets say about 4 to 5 weeks ago and about two and a half weeks ago I went to go pick it up and they ended up SILVER PLATING my Rose Gold necklace, so, they sent it back in to get repaired. I havent heard anything, so for about the past week and a half I have been calling and I always get ahold of a girl named Anika or something like that and she always tells me that she will get back to me this and that and never does, well today I get a little agitated with her and she hung up on me, yes, I shouldnt of cussed but my boyfriend spent a good amount on that necklace and it was their mess up and so shes been super un helpful and short with me every call. Then I call back after she hung up and I got ahold of Greg and he was SO professional about everything. He calmed me down and reassured me that they were working on it and that he will definitely call me back. That is the only reason I will be giving this store 2 stars is because of Greg. Thank you, Greg!Update: Greg is absolutely amazing and so is Anika! Total Misunderstanding

2 weeks ago I went and upgraded my wedding ring they said 2 weeks to have it sizes go to lucknit up it was never sized so the lady said she would put a rush on it well I never got an update so I called to find out they havent sent it off and have to have a other one ordered then send that one off for size and someone should of called me but never did they are not helpful it will.b over a month b4 I would get my ring

Only reason I put one star is because I have to put one. WORST jewelry store ever. Fiancé went to eat her ring resized, pretty sure it’s not even gonna fit right because of the lady in there. They promised it would be done on the 7th and my future wife had to leave back home for a month on the 11th. Well now they say it won’t be done until the 15th and I can’t pick it up because I wasn’t there when she dropped it off. I guess it’s gonna sit in there for a month.

Came here February 2017 with my fiancé to pick out wedding rings, I showed the man the ring I wanted from the Kay catalog and the man didn’t even look for it. Instead he pointed me to a small tray with a few rings around the price the ring I wanted was. I was disappointed and chose a ring from that selection to buy but as I walked around while my fiancé (at the time) was paying for his selection I saw the ring I initially wanted just a few shelves over. If the man actually knew what he was doing he would have shown me right to the one I wanted and I’d be leaving a 5 Star review right now. But that man ruined my experience.Also during this experience I had them check my ring size and was told I was a 7.25 but turns out that was off too but because our wedding was in March I didn’t have time to have it sent off again to be resized. I ended up dealing with it being squeezed onto my hand until I got it sized up to a 7.50 which took another 2 weeks. I’m headed to get my ring now which was said to be ready Feb 5th and that they would call me, but they have not called me which brings me to the next thing. They never called to let me know our wedding rings were ready when I originally purchased them too which is frustrating when you’re planning a wedding and this should have been one simple phone call.Anyways I love my jewelry but the man who helped me didn’t make my experience memorable, there needs to be more training or something so workers actually know what they’re doing so customers can have a memorable good experience.
