I ordered Simpsons Red Rye Crystal Malt. I was pleased with the quality of the product. I use it to bake authentic Russian Bread called Borodinsky. Nicole went above and beyond to help me compile a Christmas gift for my FIL! They were preparing to move into their new location, and not restocking some items to help with the move. To my surprise, she had all the ingredients on hand that I needed for the kit I wanted and put it together for me, and even called Christmas Eve to make sure Id have the gift in time. I live out of state but love ordering from them for my MI family or having supplies delivered to CO.

Corks came on time and well packed, and they were the correct diameter. They were not the same shape as pictured in the item listing however, but a different shape. Before ordering from this company, make sure to check with them about what corks they are going to send you, as their supplier randomly gives them different corks depending on what is available.

My order arrived early and was exactly as described. I ordered red and white wine yeast to try making bread during lockdown. The red wine yeast made delicious bread. Way better than the bread I made using grocery store bought regular yeast, which tasted a little bitter. I will try the white wine yeast this week but am definitely buying more red wine yeast. Ingredients shipped 7/8 were scheduled to arrive 7/10 but arrived 7/13. Ice pack had melted and liquid yeast was warm. However, yeast was still active and batch is fermenting well.

I mean, Im not sure what exactly can be said about a brewing supply store, but they seem to have just about anything you could want.The hops selection is abundant.They have plenty of bottles. Need bottle caps, theyve got those too. Need to put the cap on the bottle, yep, no worries, they have the tool.On this visit I happened to need some tubing, and they have pretty much everything you could want.

I have used this BIAB once, I use a recirculation pump in the mash cycle. I like the larger mesh material in the bag. The old brand name BIAB would some times overflow the bag in the mash cycle, it filtered well, I use in a keggle and raise the bag after mash, it drains well and fast. I would be nice if bag wasnt quite as wide, it drains over side of keggle. Would definitely buy again

I ordered Red Rye Malt in a small quantity (1 lb) for baking; its a key ingredient in Russian borodinsky rye bread, but even in small quantity it made the bread smell pleasantly (to me) of wort.
