Called Best Rate Cleanouts (Chris) via a recommendation and it was the best thing we ever did. The first thing Chris did was hold the estate sale in which 55 years of items were neatly displayed and staged in a professional manner so that all items could be easily seen. Incredibly unresponsive. You would think a company would be jumping at the bit for business but Chris doesn’t seem to care. Look somewhere else.

If you have a hoarder problem I would think twice about this company. Maybe an auction would be more profitable. Make sure that you inventory everything you have before hiring them. We have sold other things at auction. The dealers took inventory of the items before the sale. This company did not. We hoped that we would have a clean out. They staged things-and in doing so they left us with piles of junk outside. They said they could clean out for $300, but we would need to rent a dumpster for about $800. Not what we had hoped for. Now we will probably have to hire another company to clean out.

After months of helping my mother-in-law clean out her home I was starting to hit a wall. Not knowing what to do with the last of the stuff that she wouldnt be taking with her I decided (pretty last minute) to have an estate sale. Chris was great to work with. Even though I didnt give him much notice he was able to fit us into his tight schedule. After the sale the crew that handled the junk removal was excellent and easy to work with. They were able to get the house cleaned out just four days before the closing. Chris was very responsive to phone calls and texts throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have a estate sale or clean out of their home.

Chris and his crew are great, but BRC has become a victim of its own success. People buying entire tables of merchandise without looking at it, showing up at 8:00PM the night before, etc. Good luck to Chris & Co., but I wont be back.

Fantastic company! They did the estate sale and cleanout of a deceased relatives 3 story house that was overly-full. They only took one day to set up the items for the estate sale, held the sale and then only took 2 days to do the cleanout (because 2 dumpsters were required). Even with all of that, we got a very nice check back! Chris was very easy to work with and I definitely recommend this company!

After a bad experience with another company, I was very leery about choosing new one. When Best Rates estimate came in so low, I was even more cautious. Boy was I happily surprised. Chris impressed me from the beginning to the end. He guided me through the whole house clean-out as I had no experience with it, and did not know what to expect. He delivered exactly what he promised and then some, and never wavered on the quoted cost. The job could not have gone any better!

Chris and his team were just terrific throughout this entire process. Not only were they prompt and efficient, they were patient and kind as well, which is really important in what can be a very emotional situation. I recently bought a vintage bass guitar from one of Best Rate Cleanouts Estate Sales, and I dont even live in the same state!!! I saw the sale online and called. Talked to Chris and he said if I was a serious buyer he would give me a crack at the bass the day of the sale by phone. And he did! Seriously, working with him on this purchase was easy and plesant. I used Chris Jordan and his Best Rate Estate Sales and Cleanouts company for a timing-sensitive estate sale in January 2017. It was tentatively planned nearly 2 years in advance and Chris was graciously able to be flexible in twice updating tentative estate sale dates as my situation evolved. Ultimately, Chris was professional in coming well in advance to take photos, then subsequently do staging and pricing. Finally, at the estate sale itself, Chris was effective at selling a good number of items, cooperating with me and neighbors on a few exceptions (patio planters, mattresses,..), completing the estate sale, and cleaning out to broom-swept condition all remains as discussed and reviewed. I would definitely recommend Chris for estate sales and cleanouts in Boston and north of Boston areas. What made Chris efforts stand out was his honesty in our dealings and in his sensitivity to the fact that it was my own terminal illness which drove this estate sale and cleanout, as I wanted to avoid tasks falling to my late teen daughters or family which could be handled by Chris or the funeral home or others I made plans for. Will not be going to any further events that this company provides due to me being the first person to walk into the first room and the item that I pick up to buy was supposedly sold to somebody that was not even inside the house this company has preferences and their own people they deal with not cool when I was sitting outside of a house for over 6 hours to be the first so I can get the item

Very disappointed that, although I thought we would be working together, after almost 2 weeks of contact, a major adjustment to the original bid, and even a verbal acceptance, the owner backed out. Very upsetting at a difficult time.
