I am a new gun owner as of earlier this year. However, Ive been into a number of gun stores, both local and not local, and I can attest that Milford Firearms is a top-tier Friendly Local Gun Store.The owner and his two main employees are great. If you just want to browse, theyre happy to let you do your own thing, and if you have any questions, they are more than capable of answering them. While the store may be small, it still has a lot of product, and is organized in a pretty logical and smooth fashion. As a collector of mainly historical firearms, I can attest that you can find some real surprises. The owner, Nick, firmly believes in fair treatment, and I can personally attest that you can find some truly astonishing finds for reasonable prices.The long and the short is that I am proud to call Milford Firearms my local gun shop, and I would encourage you to visit a few times and see what I see whenever I walk in.

My wife went in to buy her first hand gun she had a lot of questions and was not sure what she wanted, they where very busy but still took the time to answer all of her questions and trust me there was a lot. We where both very happy with the experience. I have been back in a bunch since then and they are always super helpful. Check them out. Ive been collecting guns for a long time and have been to tons of other gun stores in the past. The two gentleman that work behind the counter as well as the owner are very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a very relaxed atmosphere with no pressure. I’ve dealt with dealers all Over the state and I was lucky enough to move to Milford and have these guys in my neighborhood! Inventory is always good have lots of accessories that normally I have to find online . I picked up a delta point optic cheaper then I could get it on Amazon . This is a great traditional local gun shop. Nick, Nevin, & Cody, are knowledgeable and helpful. With all the craziness in the firearms world these days, its surprising that they are as well stocked as they are, and have worked to keep their prices as reasonable as possible. Things can seem a bit chaotic if theres only one or two staff and a small store full of people. My advice is to be patient and look around. Plenty of interesting items to check out. When its your turn, youll get professional service, and a smile of gratitude for understanding that everyone is a little frazzled these days.

Milford Firearms is the best place to go for your first (or next) firearm! Nick and Nevin took the time to explain what I needed to do once I took my first ever pistol home and also helped me load the magazine for the first time. When they saw I was struggling past the 3rd bullet, they gave me a tool to help. They then told me to come back after firing a couple hundred rounds and they would teach me how to clean the gun. So, that is exactly what I did. Nevin was patient and helped explain the entire cleaning process and what each step is intended to do. He pointed out things that the YouTube videos I watched never touched on. He answered every question I had and helped ensure I reassembled the gun properly (also another thing most YouTube videos don’t show). If you want personal service and great prices for all your firearm needs, Milford Firearms is the place you MUST go! Five out of five stars from me!

A couple months ago I called for a specific firearm, they had 2 in stock reasonably priced considering everything thats going on when no other local store had any available, and nobody knew when theyd become available again. I asked if they could hold them for me while I drove roughly an hour to purchase them and without hesitation, being a 1st time customer they did. You guys have gained my loyalty! At the time I went there, before pandemic, it was well stocked with new and used firearms. Plenty of veriety, makes and models of pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns.But I didnt see or hear any deals that you couldnt find anyplace else. Nice enough people, but again, just like anyplace else. They all are the best and have the best deals in the state.Im sure they will have an excuse or something to rebut this post. Did I mention they always seem to have ammo when nobody else does in tough times such as now? For all level of Gun enthusiasts, Milford Firearms has been time and time again the place for me and my wife. Nick has been by far the best owner out there and listens to every customer, answers every question and tells the truth. Nevin, don’t let his age fool you. Matter of fact, I have learned more about guns from him in the last year than I have in my 45 years of the sport. Dave, the gunsmith...you need anything fixed, older/collectible/historical or new firearm enhanced, for the price...you will be happy you went to Milford Firearms. Once things slow down, Dave may be giving some overviews on how to load ammunition as Nick recently added a whole new section and inventory for reloading (PLEASE!!!). I also believe “Pops” who is there from time to time teaches firearms safety courses and catered more towards hunting rules and safety in NH. Believe he also teaches and knows he is an avid bow hunter.Nick also has some part-time weekend and during the week help that welcome you and assist you the minute you walk in to the door and direct you to the area of the shop for easy and convenient shopping. If you haven’t met the staff over at Milford Firearms, you should make it a point...especially since almost everything is sold out everywhere!I have been to a few other shops in the area and the biggest part for me is less of the over “GLORY-fied” shops where the prices are higher and you feel you are paying for this standard and do not always get the attention and customer service you should for the money you are spending. If youre like me, customer service can make a huge difference in where you shop. There are a few places you can go and get pretty good customer service, but I assure you that it wont be as good as at Milford Firearms. The entire staff is courteous and genuine. The owner Nick is straight forward and an honest man. Whether its purchasing or trading in, their motto is modeled after the golden rule. This is the kind of place that treats you how you wish to be treated. Anyone who would say otherwise must be referring to somewhere else. I have yet to meet anyone who has less than an outstanding experience there. I have purchased and traded in multiple firearms there. I am and will continue to be a customer.

I live in Colorado and purchased a Tactical 1911 for the best price I could find. Milford Firearms gave me a steal of a deal on this pistol... $200 less than everywhere I looked. Nick the owner was very polite and answered all of my questions. I purchased the pistol over the phone on a Friday and received it at my local FFL on Monday! Ive been a customer several times and for the most part all was good. But recently I bought a remmington 308 semi auto hunting rifle from them that was defective. The owners son sold it to me and said it was a great shooting gun, I asked him if he shot the gun and he said they shoot all the guns before they sell them...lies...I got the gun home and it jammed or wouldnt feed the next cartridge. I brought it back and they worked on it for days.The owner said the gun was particular on ammo and I needed to shoot 150 grain bullets instead of 180 grain. Well I like heavy rounds.I finally got it back and the owner told me it was fixed but if I didnt like the gun I could exchange it. Lies....I thought about my purchase and decided the gun was too temperamental for me and wanted to exchange it for a bolt action. I called the gun store and the owner changed his tune a bout an exchange and started to tell me I must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed!No, I was fine, he was the one who got up on the wrong side of the bed. I was following up on what he said....if I didnt like the gun I could exchange it! Well this guy, the owner, told me I had to keep the gun and then he hung up on me.In other times I was in the store and this guy Nick was talking badly about his son who works there. He said he should have used birth control because the kid messed up. Nicks true colors, he is a liar and so is his son, he is disrespectful, hell tell you want you want to hear just to make the sale, and he is not a man of his word! I will never do business with him again and I advise others to beware.Youre lying still. You did not give me the option to exchange it! You were rude to me and I will tell all my hunting buddies my story unless you make it right. And believe me I know lots of hunters.

This guy definitely believes in making his customers happy and making a fair deal. In January of 2015 me and my dad brought it a rifle and intended on using it for a trade in value on a pistol but didnt have money for the rest of the pistol. We planned on going back but as time went on we just kind of forgot about it, but still kept the receipt. Just this week so almost 2 years later, I was able to go in there and talk to him and explain what happened and with me having the receipts and an old Magazine from the rifle we brought in to help remind him he cut me a deal for more store credit. It wasnt the original amount we agreed on but after 2 years if never showing up Im happy to get anything. They will always have my business.

The owner is very helpful and will do FFL transfers from online purchases for $35 dollars civilian, $25 for military. I have purchased a few guns from here. In house inventory is modest to moderate, but they make up for it by ordering and shipping to the store in one to two weeks, so you can practically get anything if you know what your looking for. Prices are fair and he is willing to deal with you over honest offers. Overall Great experience

Was getting my firearms at Merrimack firearms until i realized Milford firearms pricing is much better. The last gun I ordered came in a think maybe a wk late due to covid which is completely understandable ......the owner was very apolagetic and to my surprise gave me three boxes of free ammo for my inconvenience . A little bit of context here, I have driven by many times while heading through Milford. On the outside the shop doesnt really look like much, couple that with the fact that I had never really heard any one talk about it and I didnt have any intentions of stopping by.When my brother suggested going in for a pistol I was a little skeptical, I figured there might be a few rifles and shotguns on the wall, a small display case with some pistols, and maybe a shelf for ammo. To say I was pleasantly surprised after walking in was an understatement. Obviously not the largest gunshop, they make good use of the space they have and theres actually some nice variety of handguns, rifles, and shotguns.The owner was both knowledgeable and helpful as well. Not really trying to push anything he had something to say about the perks of each firearm we asked to take a look at. It was definitely worth stopping in and I fully intend on going back.

Great experience! Been here a few times but this time I was in desperate need to get a gift in time for Valentine’s Day. I called literally every single gun store in N.H. south of the white mountains and every single one said at least a week until they could get it. Well, because of my poor planning I needed it in two days. The owner not only said he could call the warehouse and have them overnight it but then proceeded to do so at no extra charge and with me right there. The guy at the warehouse, who he knew personally, did not answer the first time so while I was browsing the owner called him about three more times until he finally got ahold of him and got his commitment to ship it out today via fedex next day air! This guy bent over backwards for me and I won’t forget it!P.S. - My girl loves the revolver and literally cried when she opened it #coolestgirlever

This is THE best shop in the area. The owner Nick is honest, personable, and very knowledgeable. I often stop in to check for off the wall guns, this weekend he had a beautiful Ithica Deerslayer in mint condition, a piece of American gun history I could not pass up. Not only did he give me a head spinning deal but I just left the range and this gun shoots Brenneke slugs absolutely phenominal! Stop in if you want excellent service from a down to earth regular guy that cares!
